Old fashioned 1920's house MOC with vintage Ford model A - finished 4/6/22

Ok, so this house MOC is actually a MOD of a MOC. It was taken from a set of Shrieking Shack instructions by JL.Bricks and heavily modified into a facsimile of 1920's-style house... or, at least it's close enough to work with a de-winterized Winter Village line and / or Hogsmeade Village Visit without snow. (set 76388) See this Rebrickable link to see what I modified it from. I added a flip-open back like in Medieval Market Village. (set 10193 - It's hard to believe that set is 13 years old!) The building was originally winter (and Harry Potter) themed, but it clashed way too much with my other buildings that way, as they aren't winter themed. Basically, it's a normal, non-Christmas house now. The back of the house is a new design by me. I had to redo the roof from plates ands tiles (as it was originally shown) to slopes as it was too fragile. The lower floor features a coat rack, table w/ two chairs, and a steam heater borrowed from set 10185. (Green Grocer) Upstairs we have a bed (plus another steam radiator) with clock and framed map on the walls. More details are in the back of the house, such a kitchen stove, couch, along a with a few more living room details. There is a model railroad upstairs as well. This vehicle was originally inspired by @hachiroku's model of the staff car from Raiders of the Lost Ark, and can be found here in his photo-stream. The car can be seen above with all the furniture from the inside of the house. (This picture was taken before house construction started... I've broken enough reddish brown brick on this to just tear the innards out just for one picture!) Speaking of the car, here it is by itself. inside view of the car. Seats one in front and one behind. (if you can get your fingers in there, that is!) The rear view showcasing the spare tire as mounted on the trunk. As usual, comments, questions complaints, and suggestions welcome! EDIT 4/6/22: FINALLY, it's done! The house has been in-progress since August of 2021 and was starting to drive me crazy. -
"Sweet Tooth" Cabin I recently saw the Netflix series Sweet Tooth and, while I'm not much into TV series, the first episode gave me a brilliant idea to build a new cabin in the woods. And so here is the house of Gus, the half-deer "hybrid" child main character of the series, and of Pubba, his alleged father. There are a lot of details and "part usage" that I have used in my previous builds and I enjoyed putting them all into this diorama. Gus has the head of the faun from CMF series 15. From behind you can see the ears and a hint of horns, just like when Gus was growing up. The diorama consists of 5 small shacks that can be joined together and create the shelter of Gus and Pubba. In the background there are a series of trees of different colors and with different shapes. The whole build is placed on a base made mainly of dark tan wedge plates. On the right a deer shyly appears, Gus thinks it's his mother, if you've seen the series you know what I'm talking about. Hope you like it!

[MOC] Magda's Garden Shed (or the Shed with the Tree)

Magda's Garden Shed Every time I visit a garden shop I am fascinated by the mixture of colors and shapes of the plants that you can find there. I really like that atmosphere especially in the old rustic shacks. I tried to recreate that kind of location by building a barn-shaped shed surrounded by flowers and plants. The inspiration came from a drawing by a Japanese dioramist that I really appreciate. The large tree that sprout up from the roof catches the eye and it's the leading element of the entire scene. The Garden Shed is the kingdom of Mrs. Magda (can you spot her?), a friendly Spanish lady who has retired to the countryside with her funny cat. She spends her spare time taking care of the multitude of lush plants and flowers. The diorama is full of details and strange pieces, have fun finding them. Hope you like it! -
Joe's Cottage (and Joe's tow truck) Joe is a lonely guy. He lives in his tan wooden cottage somewhere in the woods. His mates are birds and chickens. He loves driving his tow truck and he always helps people who are in breakdown on their way. My latest creation was inspired by a Japanese model maker who makes little cottages and shacks in the woods. I added few NPU like the speargun as light holder, pistons on the electricity pole, Ninjago hat on the chimney and some other even on the tow truck. I tried to photograph the scene making it alive and warm, it seems to me there is a nice atmosphere due to the light sideways. Take a moment to appreciate all the small details that all add up to this rustic scene. It was very funny building this and even more catching the details to insert via period pictures spotted on the web. Hope you like it!

In the Mystic Isles, a shack in long need of repairs provides a local witch with shelter. How it still stands? Magic. Er, don't like this alot :p , the roof kinda ruins it and it looks way better in real life (without the roof). The angles were lots of fun to achieve, although made this Moc very flimsy. I think the landscape is ok, although you definitely cannot see the tree in its full glory. The tree, by the way is inspired by TheBrickAvenger. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy and C&C needed :D

LDD MOCs - Shrieking Shack from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkab

This build was based on LEGO set 4756 (called Shrieking Shack ) from the 2004 Harry Potter / Prisoner of Azkaban movie line. My revamped version of the set features a hinge system to allow access to the interior while preserving the sense that it is a complete building. The front of the house. Those 1x6 tan tiles in this build are all missing a specific rare wooden board print. (see it here: http://www.bricklink...m.asp?P=6636px1 ) The rear view features the secret exit to the tunnel from Hogwarts' Womping Willow and more boarded up windows. The Inside features a bed-frame, (from another Haunted House, set 10228) staircase with broken railing, couch, and phonograph courtesy of 10228.
