At long last I present to you all a train car to go behind my Z-6 challenger: The Pig Palace Car This type of car was used exclusively to haul animals like pigs. They were unusual because unlike most other freight cars, this one was a double decker freight car. Its small space allowed animals like pigs to ride on it with ease. It has a straw bed inside as well as troughs to keep them fed for longer journeys. This particular Pig Palace Car will hold up to 18 pigs. This will soon be on Lego Ideas soon. I will post the link when it comes up. It already is on Bricklink for a 3D view.

Micah is out with Hanska and his friend, Deganawidah, hunting in the plains of Lacryma. The island primarily has open plains with scattered trees that have the highest density near rivers and creeks. Today, they are hunting for the deer that roam on the island, but it takes a smart hunter to get close to them, as the deer have keen eyes and a sharp nose. They have been following a deer and hog trail right up to one of the creek crossings. They hope to spot the deer on the other side of the creek. Hanska explained to Micah that the hogs that have populated the island like to live in bramble patches where it is hard to get to them. It is unwise to go in after them, and the primary method of hunting the hogs has been to waylay them in the moonlight with spears. Though the Corrington rifles have proven more effective against their thick skin than the Onondaga's bows and arrows and this has drawn the attention of the Onondaga. Notes: This build was a concept since last Christmas, and I have had the deer built and waiting for the forest ever since. I finally got around to building the forest around Thanksgiving and just finished it recently. The build is 72x64 studs which is my largest physical build to date. The trees kept falling over on me, and they also got attacked by the toddler between photography sessions, so they were my least favorite part of the whole build. I borrowed the birch trees from @Kai NRG's great build. I intend to license this in Elizabethville as a medium plantation. Additional photos behind the spoiler.

I know I normally post stuff on the forums about Lego Technic, but I also enjoy building Lego MineCraft sets as well and connecting them together. Today, I looked at my The First Night set and noticed something very odd. I got the set on Christmas Eve 2015, and I never noticed this problem the entire time I had it. This is Lego's official picture for the set. Focus on the green 2x2 plate with knob above the brown 2x2 brick with the rose on the right of the pig. When you build the set, the instructions show that there is no green plate below the rose. I don't think there is even a spare piece for it. I checked the internet and I believe nobody ever noticed this before. I'm perfectly fine with it though, since everyone occasionally makes mistakes. What do you think? Has anyone here saw this mistake before?

Hello! Recently I have decided to enter a contest over on Flickr, the Colossal Battle Contest in the group LEGO War. One of the categories is Beasts of battle, and I was wondering if anyone had ideas/techniques of how to build cool animals that might fit that theme. I already have one entry done, but I still want to hear some ideas and learn some new techniques to apply in other builds as well. I hope this topic will help others too, because I know that animals and beasts are often rather difficult to realistically represent in LEGO brick form. Thanks everyone!

Hi everybody, today I present you a series of small animals, which some of you might have seen on my flickr photostream already. The idea for these little mocs was born just by chance and I think especially younger kids will love it. By using less bricks I kept the models simple, but tried to capture the real things as effectively as possible. Here we go: That's it for the moment... don't know, if it's to be continued! Log Entry, Captain Benjamin Morgan I heard word in several pubs and taverns in Bastion, that latewards a mysterious island had been discovered south of the Nest. Rumour had it that this barely explored isle was covered with dense jungle, hiding ghastly things in its deeps. Tales of a wild people came to our ears, men who used to serve any stranger who entered the land of their gods- either boiled or raw. But there were also rumours of large banana trees, countless springs of fresh water, fertile soil and forests filled with more game than any man could ever hunt down. Surprisingly none of the aspiring empires had claimed the land so far. We soon came to the decision that the promises of this island were too tempting to not risk an expedition. Too late to abort the journey, at the pier we heard the name that was given to it. Isla del Diablo, Devil's Island. Unimpressed by the gossip of the sailors we set sail to unknown shores. The sea was calm and the winds in our favour, and after one night and one day, Isla del Diablo came in sight. Although we could see the entrance to the large bay, that had recently be named "Bay of Horns", I gave order to surround the island in the hope that we would find a yet undiscovered part of the coast that was eligible for going ashore. I was in no way eager after joining the settlers that had already arrived in the bay; too soon it would be confined and cramped and well known to every man east of Terraversa. We eventually found a small beach area in the middle of a long cliff that appeared to frame nearly all of the eastern shore. The dense jungle was perilously leaning above the cliffs, blaring out a silent threat against every intruder. Dim scrub came down to the beach reaching almost to the calm billows touching the sand. Now it was time to release the first settlers into their uncertain fate. Even if it would emerge that this paradise really was the purgatory on our continuous way to Hades, we could at least feed on them...

Location: E01 - Donwarr Tags: Exploration, Military, Spaceship Previously: Part I Part II Part III Log of Agent G: Finding myself mysteriously stranded on Donwarr, my first order of business was to repair my com system, which was scrambled after my interplanetary journey. With me being in the middle of the forest, that proved to take a few days. Once that was repaired however, I was able to signal a M.A.N.T.I.S. M22-Persuader that was near Jurin II. It was able to land on Donwarr in a matter of hours. I took my new companion, the pig, who had stayed faithfully by my side the entire time. I have taken to calling him Herbert. He comes as a welcome relief from all the stuffy M.A.N.T.I.S. robots at home. ... Two days later ... Log of Agent G: After searching over M.A.N.T.I.S. records for hours as to what could have happened to me on the Octan spacecraft, I finally found something. Only a few instances of it have been found, but it seems like it is possible for humans to go through a GATE unaided by a spacecraft... The M22-Persuader is a heavy craft that packs a lot of firepower. Although it has a one seater cockpit, the rear has room for two people, or three, snugly. C&C much appreciated!

This is Dain II Ironfoot, the lord of Iron Hills, The King under the Mountain and the scottish boss dwarf who rode that pig. The challenging part was the legs - All my previous dwarves have been standing still and this guy had a riding pose. It uses some small ball joints that are hidden under the armor skirt. The pig works on its own - Dain doesn't. Kill them elves! More on my blog, as usual. Enjoy.

I guess this is the fourth in this series: Garmadon's guerrilla (entering Ras-El-Akhen) marcu22's guerrilla (attempting sabatage) Bergier's counter to marcu22 (captured!) and now my counter to Garmadon: After their capture at the gate, Cedric and his pal were given prisoner of war status. As part of their detention, they’re responsible for taking care of the Ras-El-Akhen pigpen. As Cedric cleans out the pen, a High Council captain inspects the Ulandan armor. He's less than impressed. C&C welcome! For the Republic!

This was built by my 12 year old brother. Kendrick and Basil continue their journey and come upon a small farm in the countryside. They pay the farmers a visit and plan to spend a few days working at the farm in return for food and lodging. More pictures can be seen here: link He would appreciate any C&C
