    Box Art Mistakes

Something I noticed back in the day was that 6977- Arachnoid-Star-Base's product photograph/box art shows robots with the smiling Spyrius robot head instead of the crosshair-eyed Insectoids robot head. Another example from a few years later is 7180 B wing at rebel control center which shows a classic eyebrow-less head for the pilot, but shipped with an eye browed head. Anyone have any other examples where the official box photo has a mistake?
  2. EDIT: Survey is now closed, thank you for your responses! Hello, I am a third year student, currently studying Graphic Communication and Typography at the University of Reading. I was lucky enough to be able to use LEGO in my dissertation topic, and as my research has progressed, I have found it necessary to run a survey. And what better place to open the survey to but LEGO forums?? Below, you will find a link to the dissertation survey, which contains some more information on the type of survey and research, as well as the survey itself. It shouldn't take long for you to complete and I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and responses. [removed] (If you are answering on mobile, you will have to turn your screen landscape to see the questions in full) Many thanks in advance and have a great day, Oli P.S. My ethical clearance for this survey only allows for me to collect 100 responses, so if the survey doesn't seem to be working – it may have hit capacity already!
  3. This arrived today: http://imageshack.us/f/18/lego1f.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/f/40/lego2f.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/f/266/lego3z.jpg/ In the first image, I did not do that to the box. That's actually how it arrived. Flimsy cardboard, no protection at all. Any idea what I should do about this? This is a hassle I really didn't need :(
  4. I am getting ready to sell some of my minifigs. I have figs from LOTR, Hobbit, Star Wars and others. What I am mostly trying to determine is packaging and shipping costs so I don't spend more on packaging and shipping than I sell the fig for. I live in the USA, so imagine it would be best to ask for USA buyers and use the postal service. For those of you with experience with this, approximately what does it cost to mail the average minifig? Does the post office have prepaid mailers that you have used, and are they satisfactory so that the fig gets to it's destination without damage? Thanks Andy D
