    [MOC] GS-R "Viper"

10 years on, the fight of the Galaxy Squad Corps against the Buggoid swarm rages on. Over the years the Corps have upgraded their machinery to repel the increasing enemy forces, and in 2023 the Tech-NIK Corporation produced a brand-new upgraded line-up of vehicles to assist in their fight. NoVVember 2023: GS-R "Viper" by Admiraltyphoon, on Flickr The Red Squad’s speedy streak continues with the GS-R “Viper” Orbital Velocity Striker, a unique starfighter model developed for a variety of missions, ranging from rapid strikes to rescue ops, including a recovery bay behind the pilot’s seat, and clamps to secure cocoons to the lower fuselage, where cryo-plates slow the harvesting process to improve chances of survival. NoVVember 2023: GS-R "Viper" by Admiraltyphoon, on Flickr Tech-NIK’s U-JT joint tech is in full use here, allowing the dual engine & blaster units to rotate for maximum maneuverability & control in space. This transformative technology was developed with their biggest attempt to integrate the AI Assistant Robot drone with the new model range, as the Red AI drone is fully capable of taking control of the ship for close quarters combat, allowing the Red Squad pilot to focus on rescue missions or additional firepower support. NoVVember 2023: GS-R "Viper" by Admiraltyphoon, on Flickr The drone is still able to disengage from the ship and function as a speeder drone for fast retrieval or hit & run missions. I've been so busy with work that I forgot to post it here right at the end of Novvember - The Upgraded Galaxy Squad is now complete, but they still need a threat to fight soon...
  2. Got inspired and did a second NoVVember build for 2023, this time inspired by the Life on Mars theme. Yes, that's Cassiopeia piloting directly from a hypersled! The landing gear folds up and in to push the hypersled into the piloting position!

    [MOC] Seraph-ꙮ (NoVVember)

Not sure if anyone here is familiar with the "Biblically Accurate X" category of memes where X has way more eyes than it's supposed to, but that was my main inspiration for this build (beyond just the fact that it's NoVVember).

This is my build for NoVVember - 2019.
  7. Okay, 2015 fast approacheth, and I'm trying to find as full a list as possible of LEGO theme months/build events. I'm aware of SHIPtember and Nnovvember, but what others are there in that vein? Also interested in the big yearly contests like FBTB's MOC Madness, Classic Castle's big end-of-year competition, and the like. All help appreciated.
  8. It's NoVVember ! I wanted a colourful spaceship for my Intergalactic Girl, and I saw NoVVember was coming, so here it is. The many colours (5 pinks, 3 purples and teal), large amount of metallic grey, reflective surfaces and transparent parts make it a bit hard to photograph correctly, so it looks much more convoluted on the pics than it actually is. Sorry about that. It's rather limited on play features: two missiles and a hook for the gun, but it's easy to handle and has a good "swoosh" factor. :) And the bonus pic:
  9. Here is my first ever VicViper. Long live Space Police I, the best (in my opinion) in the Space Police theme! I placed 8 LifeLites LEDs in the rear pods to try and make it a little more interesting. Other images, and a video of the LifeLites in action, are on my Flickr stream Thanks for looking!
  10. A squadron in flight formation! The Republic Viper Wing was built as a successor to the V-Wing but never got commisioned to active combat. AC

    [MOC] Sith Subjugator

Where the Sith Infiltrator starts, the Sith Subjugator follows and completes the total destruction of anything that comes in its path! AC
  12. This is my another Vic Viper Starfighter build for Novvember 2013 challenge in Flickr Vic Viper group. Also a rough quick build, non reference original gradius model based. First time using the canopy for my starfighter build and also tried "dark green-black-reddish brown" colours combo which I think would add fierce military looks on this starfighter. Comments and inputs are always welcome for improvement. Cheers Full resolution pics : http://www.flickr.co...otos/toms_hart/
  13. Vic Viper Starfighter build for Novvember 2013 challenge in flickr vic viper group. A quick build for Novvember 2013 warm up, non reference based but I try to capture the essential aesthetics of Gradius Vic Viper which are dual forward prongs, two side wings and single tail fin. NCS Infiltration viper!

Introducing my latest MOC: The NCS Infiltration Viper! This was built as my contribution to Vic Viper Novvember. Originally Commander Grayson of the NCS Star fleet's personal transport, the Infiltration Viper was built when agile space combat ships were needed. It's a favored design by many federation fighter pilots, although it's a very rare opportunity to be able to drive one of these as very few were ever produced. only about 6 are currently scattered around the stars. Well, I have officially created one Neo classic space ship in each of the three color schemes! I call this a success :-) My flickr! You can find my blog at spacebricks.blogspot.com! -Jasbury!
  17. On its own merits, the UCS TIE Vviper is an excellent fighter that should not be overlooked. The TIE Vviper incorporates shields, boosted laser cannons, improved armor, and a hyperdrive. A powerful generator provides power to all of these systems with enough leftover to bring the Vviper's speed above that of a TIE/ln. Modified as a hybrid fighter for the Novvember Vic Viper builds! Posted November 17, 2012 Still working on it... AC

Skull Clan Vic Viper for Novvember

Well, I was planning on doing something for Novvember this year, and after about 5 hours of frustration and artists' block, I finally was able to finish my very-own. After seeing some of the ones already posted, I'm almost ashamed to post this here, but I figured someone might like it. I can tell you it was one copper-plated pain in the butt to build this thing, but over all I like how it turned out. I may eventually add more flick-fire missiles later, but here it is for now.... -Begin Transmission- Classification: Secret To: Dr. Bones, Chief Director, Federal Intelligence Agency Subject: Skull Clan Vic Viper Space Fighter Status: Confirmed. Viper Pose by Hikaro Takayama, on Flickr Chief Director Bones, as you know, the Skull Clan is one of the most notorious raider groups in the Wastes, somehow able to match even the Federal Dragoons, Airborne Demolitions Unit (ADU) and Lone Star Texas Rangers in combat. Side view by Hikaro Takayama, on Flickr Latest intel gathered by our friends in the ADU indicates that they somehow managed to obtain plans and materials to build a Viper Class space fighter. Initial reports indicate that it's armament consists of four blasters, similar to the ones used on the ADU mobile Command center, twin 40mm auto cannons and dual laser cannons as well as at least two Merculite Missile launchers. Top View by Hikaro Takayama, on Flickr Attached are photos of the Viper, along with its pilot at an ad-hoc landing pad in a Skull Clan outpost in the Wastes near New Boise. Pilot pic by Hikaro Takayama, on Flickr How the Skull Clan has managed to obtain such advanced weapons and materials in the Wastes is still unknown. Even more worrying is where they got the blueprints for a Viper in the first place, since, to the best of our knowledge only the Federal Republic of America and ADU had the plans and production capabilities. We currently have our best intelligence operatives working on finding out. -End of Transmission- I hope you enjoyed my Viper, and the back story. I was planning on making a Viper for one of the bad guy factions in my setting, but was having trouble finding enough parts to build anything in the initial color schemes I wanted to (Red & Dark Bley, Dark Bley Light Bley and Black, or Black and Red), when It hit me that I had plenty of parts in White and Black as well as a TON on trans Neon Green parts. So I ended up dismantling my old Bi-Wing Baron set, the Pharaoh's Quest plane and the one (of two) Spyrius combo pack sets that I still had built up and started building. The end result was basically a Neo-Blacktron II color scheme, which I think fits with the Skull Clan's pilot uniforms (the primary colors of the ground pounders is Dark Bley, Light Bley and Black), and gives the possibility of a tie-in with the Grand Duchy of New York (which is what Old-School Blacktron evolved into in my setting, and they use the Blacktron I colors for their space ships).... In addition, it finally gave me a use for a good number of previously useless parts (namely the really long white curved slope bricks as well as those old wings that they used on the original Adventurers biplanes). I also have two more Vic Vipers in the works that are mods of the Raid VPR Space Police III set, but I'm still not 100% happy with them at the moment....
