  1. My entry for round 1 of The Middle Earth LEGO Olympics over on MOCpages. The category was to create a build based on one of J.R.R Tolkien’s poems or songs. Here is the one I chose: Farewell we call to hearth and hall! Though wind may blow and rain may fall, We must away ere break of day Far over wood and mountain tall. To Rivendell, where Elves yet dwell In glades beneath the misty fell, Through moor and waste we ride in haste, And whither then we cannot tell. With foes ahead, behind us dread, Beneath the sky shall be our bed, Until at last our toil be passed, Our journey done, our errand sped. We must away! We must away! We ride before the break of day! I tried to portray the 3 main themes of the song: hearth and home, travel through the wild, and Rivendell. More pictures on Brickbuilt. Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

    [MOC] Fighting of the Gundabad

My entry to Round 2 of the 2014-15 Middle Earth LEGO Olympics over on MOCpages. I was tasked to build a scene with Fili as the focus. His best scene is at the end of An Unexpected Journey when Bilbo is about to get killed while protecting Thorin, and he (along with Kili and Dwalin) rush in to save them both. You'll find more pictures and a lengthier description here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/404861

    [MOC] Frodo's Choice

This was a back-up entry to the Middle Earth LEGO Olympics on MOCpages. I built it before hand just in case the entry I actually submitted (which you can see here: http://www.eurobrick...00#entry2103221) didn't work out. :) The category is to take a song from the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit movies (this one being "May It Be," which is played during the credits in Fellowship of the Ring) and interpret it into a build. I don't really have thoughts on why I chose this scene, other than the fact that whenever I heard the song, this one always came to mind. :)

    Edge of Night

My entry to Round 1 of the Middle Earth LEGO Olympics over on MOCpages. The category is to take a song from the Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit movies, my choice being "Edge of Night," performed by Billy Boyd (Pippin) in Return of the King, and interpret it into a build. :)

    Nazgul Fell Beast

For a competition on MOCpages I created this Fell Beast from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It was fun tackling a dragon, and I wanted to try a more dynamic pose than is usually seen. Thanks for dropping by!
