  1. Hello Creator and Disney fans, Mickey Mouse is a legendary American cartoon character co-created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. Steamboat Willie is a 1928 American animated short film directed by them. It was produced in black and white and this cartoon is considered the debut of both Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Building instructions are available on the following links: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-171558/_TLG_/mickey-mouse-steamboat-willie This is a studless model and everything is brick-built, stickers are not used. I wanted to create a clean model which is as accurate as possible in this scale. It includes many typical details: the shoes, the pants with buttons etc.. Maybe the most challenging one was the head with some tricky build techniques. 2. Here is my review on latest 10775 Mickey Mouse And Donald Duck's Farm: THE GOOD: Lots of animals and the new sheep is great! Nice farm outfit torsos for Mickey and Donald. New Mickey Logo piece. Nice printing for the windows. THE NOT SO GOOD: Can't find any to be honest, i guess I would prefer a proper saddle piece for the horse. Overall, I like this very much. It's a decent set. Originally bought this set just for the new sheep but the minifigures and other new pieces are great, also it's not often you get a set at this price with so many different animals. The sheep is actually great and I would like an army of it before it becomes another goat situation (hopefully not). I also wish we could just order more of the Mickey logo piece. I really can't find anything bad on this set. Recommending this to everyone!

    [MOC] Pluto’s Christmas Tree

In Denmark, it is a tradition to watch Disney's Christmas Show (From All of Us to All of You) every Christmas Eve at 4 PM. Pluto’s Christmas Tree (from 1952) is always in the show. For me, watching this cartoon has always been an important Christmas tradition. When Chip and Dale came as LEGO minifigures I got the idea to build a LEGO model of this cartoon.

    REVIEW: 21317 Steamboat Willie

Finally built my steamboat willie and here is my review: THE GOOD: Interesting build and nice looking steamboat. Great metallic print on the minifigures. Nice novelty to have a mickey logo stand. THE NOT SO GOOD: My mickey mouse has a slight mis-print on the nose =( Totally recommend this to everyone even you are not a Mickey Mouse fans. I know there are feedback that you going to get similar minifigures in Disney Series 2 but this version has far superior print. Also the build experience for the steam boat is actually pretty cool. Love it!
  6. Hi there everyone! This is my first real MOC post that I've put a lot of work into so please be kind I decided to create what a potential second line up could look like for another Disney CMF Series. I have a rational for every character I chose and if you've got any questions feel free to ask me below or PM me. All of the figures and pictures can be on my flickr linked below, and if you want to swing by there and leave a favourite or follow me to see my further updates it'd be much appreciated A few things to note. First off the figures are all hand drawn and I am working towards creating a better way to merge the hand drawing and digital aspects of the figures. If you recall the packaging for the first CMF was Blue and the colour I have chosen here is Yellow this is of course to reflect how the first non-licensed CMF was Yellow and the second Blue (Bit of Irony I guess). I have also included characters I felt were left out or needed to complete the figures that came in the 1st wave. For example the inclusion of Woody, Lilo, and Goofy. I have also tried to keep about the same amount of villains as there were in the original and plan to do so in future ones as well (If you guys like them of course ). Oh one last thing to note I think is that this is almost identical to the wishlist I created over a year ago so if there is someone you'd like to see me do I'll try to squeeze them into a future line (Only if they fit my criteria though). Also forgot to say that @Robert8 and his creations was a huge inspiration to do this, so thanks! So with out further ado.... Series 2 Bag Mockup: Checklist Mockup: Series 3 Bag Mockup: Checklist Mockup: The Figures are in the spoiler tag:

  9. Hi everyone! I have just finished a MOC project that I would like to share with you here. I call it 'Once Upon A Brick' and the idea is to take classic Disney characters and re-imagine them as large-scale 2x4 LEGO Bricks. When choosing which character to do first, Mickey Mouse was the obvious choice and after that, his three friends seemed to be the next logical step; Goofy, Donald Duck and Pluto. They average 110 LEGO bricks per model and stand approximately 13cm tall. I am calling the above four MOCs 'Series 1' and I have lots more series planned. I am nearly finished with 'Series 2' and will get them photographed just as soon as the last one is ready. Finally, I have been hoping to build something worthy of LEGO Ideas for a while and I think/hope that this series could be something that others may enjoy. With that in mind, I have submitted this project to LEGO Ideas and if you feel that this is a project worthy of support, then please follow the link and hit the SUPPORT button. Also, if you know anyone who you think might like to see this project made into an official LEGO product, then please pass the link onto them. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/99705 Many, many thanks for taking the time to look at my builds! You can see more pictures in my Flickr album HERE. UPDATE #1 - UPDATE #1 - UPDATE #1 - UPDATE #1 4th June 2015 - Since I created this thread in April, I've been making more characters and have been moving away from the idea of sticking to the 'series' label that I'd used above. I've also been taking on board the feedback that I have been getting from people who have seen them in person. The one thing that I hear a lot is that they are much bigger than they look in the photos. I honestly think that some people were assuming that they were actually 2x4 bricks that I had been gluing parts onto. To help give perspective from now on, I have been taking new pictures of the characters with the LEGO brick that they are based upon, next to them. So, please may I introduce you to new members of the Once Upon A Brick family, coming straight to you from the 100 Acre Wood........... Winnie The Pooh & Friends From left to right, we have Pooh himself, then Piglet, Tigger and finally Eeyore. Piglet was a huge amount of fun to do and gave me my first chance to use something other than a 2x4 brick as the basis for the character. Since the rest of them are all 2x4s, it made sense that Piglet would be a 1x2 brick. As I said above, if you like these MOCs, I would be eternally grateful for your support on LEGO Ideas please. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/99705
