  1. Hello there! For my entry for the creature category, I chose to recreate one of my favorite mounts from the saga: Boga the Varactyl. She is a beautiful creature and desperately needs a remake in Lego. Here is a reference image for comparison: Here she is carrying Obi-Wan to his confrontation with General Grievous. She is highly poseable, allowing you to recreate various scenes, such as when she rears up. Her beak can be opened and closed, and even some of here blue feathers are adjustable. Like in the movie, she is very long and carries a saddle on her back. Her tail consists of four segments, making very flexible. Let me know what you think, and may the force be with you.
  2. Deadline extended to 6th of June, anywhere in the world. May the 4th be with you, always! Celebrate the unique Star Wars universe with us by entering the Eurobricks SW Concept Art Contest. One of the things that makes the Star Wars universe so recognizable is its visual style. Artists like Ralph McQuarrie and Doug Chiang set the stage for the galaxy we know and love through their concept art sketches that have caught the eye of George Lucas, Jon Favreau and other Star Wars film makers. For this contest take a Star Wars concept art piece or a specific scene from a movie or show and turn it into a Lego MOC! You can take a large scene like this famous one from Ralph McQuarrie: Or you can go simpler like this cargo ship built from a rough sketch by John Giang: You can also do a cut-away shot of a vehicle or a freeze-frame recreation from a specific moment! You can use one of the "Art of Star Wars" books like those pictured in the background of the announcement photo. Or you can find a picture online to use as a reference. Googling Ralph McQuarrie and Doug Chiang will give you a lot of results. But you can also look up articles like these from StarWars.com or these. If you want to recreate a scene directly from a movie/show you can use the Visual Guide or Visual Dictionary books like this one or this one. Please include a link or picture of your reference material in your entry. Rules Only one entry per person. There is no maximum or minimum size limit. The contest will run from 4th May to 4th June 6th June, 2021. As long as it's still June 4th somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified. This contest is open to all EB members, even if they joined EB after the contest has begun, with the exception of the Star Wars staff, who are not eligible to win prizes. All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to being entered in the contest. You may be asked by a staff member to change your entry if it is too similar to an earlier creation. All entries must be built from real LEGO. No clone brands, no third-party custom parts. Digital entries will be allowed. All digital entries must use only existing pieces in existing colors. All entries must be posted as a new topic in the Watto’s Junkyard forum, the title prefixed by, "[Concept Art] - entry name". (For example, "[Concept Art] – Street Showdown".) A link should be included in this thread for your entry to count. You may do a 'full-blown photo edit' with all the text, effects, background compositing, support erasing, and other effects on one picture. All your other pictures may have no editing other than color adjustment or background removal for a solid-color background. For obvious reasons, any photo editing that changes the shape, functionality, or color (not tint or adjustment, but actual color) of a LEGO piece is prohibited. It is also prohibited to use the Lego logo in any picture. All entries are considered WIPs (Works In Progress) until the deadline passes. Until the deadline has passed, you are allowed to change and improve your MOC. The winners will be decided by EB members voting. Prizes First place will win their pick of 75306 Probe Droid or 75305 Scout Trooper Helmet or 75304 Darth Vader Helmet Second place will win their pick of the 2 sets remaining Third place will win the remaining set
  3. Voting is now open! You can follow the links with each entry to their original thread. Please go to each thread before voting as there are more pictures from the members that may help you make a better choice. Please vote for your favorite entry by listing the number of that entry. Each person is allowed to vote twice. You can vote for 2 different entries or the same one twice. For example: Or: Only those who were members before May 4th 2021 can vote. 4. May the 4th be with you! The galaxy is a big place. Beings and cultures of every shape, size, and flavor exist everywhere you go! And while we've seen either too much of the politics of Star Wars (Ep. 2) or too little (Ep. 7), we've barely scratched the surface of seeing the ways various cultures manage to survive from day-to-day. We've seen moisture farmers, Cantina bar-tenders, blue krill farmers, Klatooinian grog makers, Kessel miners, coaxium refiners and many others. But there are so many other ways an economy thrives in the Star Wars universe! Show something we've already seen or come up with something new that fits within the Star Wars universe. There is only 1 category this year. But there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. We had some challenges getting Lego to sponsor prizes this year so they are a little smaller. There is a chance that the prize pool could increase so check back for updates! To enter you must build a MOC that shows economy happening within the Star Wars universe. Your build should showcase something that helps a group of people survive from day-to-day. This needs to involve more than just an average citizen at his 9-5 office job. Beyond that it's up to you! As always, if you have questions feel free to ask. Rules Only one entry is allowed per person. There is no maximum or minimum size limit. The contest will run from 4th May to 15th June, 2020. As long as it's still June 15th somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified. [MOC] M12 Power Walker

I made this custom Walker for my nephew's 12th birthday (hence "M12"). It takes inspiration from the Power Miners theme (hence "Power"), set 8957. I released the .io model on Star Wars Day 2019 on Bricklink here. A backup is available on MediaFire here. Please let me know if you like it! I will post some pics of the real build soon.
  7. Deadline Update! New Deadline is June 16th. May the 4th be with you! Has your landspeeder been collecting dust in your garage? Do you fear there's no demand for your landspeeder model? Afraid it's going to be obsolete soon? Worry no longer! We have just the thing to raise the market value of your landspeeder! The Eurobricks Landspeeder Contest! If you win, you are guaranteed to raise the demand for your Landspeeder if even it's an old X-34 model. Who wouldn't want to purchase the winning speeder, right? There are 3 categories: Category A) Build a landspeeder. Category B) Build a mechanic shop with at least 3 landspeeders being worked on [can use the landspeeder from Cat A] with the emphasis being on the shop. Category C) Show a race between at least 2 landspeeders [can use landspeeders from Cat A and/or Cat B] with the emphasis being on representing the race course and terrain. A landspeeder should be able to fit more than 1 person/minifigure comfortably. Examples of landspeeders are the X-34 that Luke drives in a New Hope, the Flash Speeder from Phantom Menace, and the M-68 Han drives at the beginning of Solo. 9. May the 4th be with you! It's that time of year again and we are hosting another Star Wars contest. Over the years there have been a lot of really good Star Wars video games. One example is Force Unleashed 2: For this contest you must re-create a moment from a Star Wars video game. Like this: Artistic license is allowed, but the closer to picture-perfect-accuracy the better! There are no size limitations, but you must include a screenshot with your Lego MOC. The screen-shot does not have to be your own (but kudos to those who do take their own screenshot!). If you use one from someone else, please credit them. Rules Only one entry is allowed per person. There is no maximum or minimum size limit. At least two pictures must be submitted with each entry. The first picture should be the screenshot from the Star Wars video game you choose. The second should be your Lego re-creation. The contest will run from 4th May to 4th June, 2018. As long as it's still June 4th somewhere in the world, you can still enter. Entries posted after the deadline will be disqualified. There must be at least 10 entries for anyone to be eligible for prizes. If there are fewer than 10 entries, there will still be prizes, they will just not be the same as are listed in the prizes section. This contest is open to all EB members, even if they joined EB after the contest has begun, with the exception of the Star Wars staff, who are not eligible to win prizes.
