  1. Hello again everyone, This time I present 6 models from Season 3 of The Mandalorian! Let’s get straight into it shall we? GAUNTLET FIGHTER/TRANSPORT The Kom'rk-class fighter/transport, also known as Kom'rk Class fighter transport or the Gauntlet starfighter, was a type of starfighter and troop transport used by the Mandalorians and seen first in the Clone Wars animated series. This model initially started off being planned as a mod of the old official polybag of this set but turned in to a complete rebuild. Most of the parts have been used but a lot more have been added. The cockpit section and rotating mechanism completely replaced. That newish technic brick with the 1 x 2 plate attached was perfect for the attachment of the wings. I have also tried to make the colour scheme the same on the top and bottom of the wings, something the polybag didn’t do. I also like how the bar for the front cannons on the “Bar 1L with 1 x 1 Round Plate” pieces sit in the plate notches of the 1x2 wedge pieces on the front of the cockpit section. I have kept the classic white and dark blue colour scheme used in the animated series. I really like this model. Displayed with Bo-Katan. FANG-CLASS STARFIGHTER The Fang fighter was custom-built for starfighter combat, and the vessel's narrow attack profile and pivot wing technology could be used to achieve unmatched agility. This fighter again was first seen in an animated series but this time Rebels. I was disappointed we did not see enough of this fighter in The Mandalorian to tell whether they were still using the pivot wing which allowed the cockpit to spin much like the B-Wing but with the cockpit in the middle of the space frame and not on the outside. The official LEGO model of this also does not spin but I don’t think that really tells us anything as the designer was probably just given stills from which to base the model. My little model however does spin! It spins simply on an axle piece through 2 technic bricks on the body and can be turned by using the main engine assembly as a wheel. The curved slopes for the cockpit fit quite snuggly to the 2x4 wedge plates on the body so there is only a small gap. The new 2 x 6 wedge plates are perfect for the front fangs which are finished off by 1x2 wedges. Another thing wrong with the LEGO model is the position of the cannons which should be at the front. I have of course fixed that too on my little model. I have also used the same colour scheme as my Gauntlet rather than white and dark grey the LEGO set uses. Displayed with a Mandalorian Warrior. CUMULUS-CLASS CORSAIR The Cumulus Class Corsair was a type of corsair ship used by the Pirate King Gorian Shard (who we will come on to later). This model ended up being a little bit bigger than I would normally like to build but I really wanted to use those Modified 4 x 4 with 3 x 3 Curved Cutout pieces for the shape of the wings. The shape also needed the 2x6 wedge plates for the front section so before doing anything else the model was 14 studs long. I have used various inverted slopes to get the shape of the hull, switching between light grey and dark blue for the stripey colour scheme which is mirrored as much as possible on the top of the model. There is quite a nice little trick near the front where the two different types of 1x1-1x2 brackets are top and tailed (twice) and attached to the hull in the hole of the 1 x 2 dark blue technic brick right at the front. This allowed the 1x1 tiles and cheese slopes to be attached and create a smoother transition of the slopes on the hull. The stud notches on the 33 degree slopes also double as the recessed cannon emplacements (by accident). The engines were a bit of a problem as the two clusters needed to have 3 engines. It did not look right with 2 so I had to settle for using/stacking the light attachment plates and the bulb pieces as using a 3 plate long configuration of round tiles, for example, would have been too high and looked out of place. It is quite a nice-looking model and think I have got most of the features – there is even a flight deck with Snub Fighters (guess the next model!). It is displayed with a custom Gorian Shard minifigure. If only the yeti/bigfoot head came in green (no new mold required LEGO just recolour this one and you can give us a Gorian Shard figure!), or the Hagrid hair piece or any suitable hair pieces for that matter. In the end I got inspiration from my son’s now defunct Hidden Side sets and used the yellowish green hairpiece from those sets. The gold jacket is atlantean armour and the sash is just made from coloured paper! PIRATE SNUB FIGHTER The Pirate Snub Fighter was a type of snub-fighter that was used by pirates during the New Republic Era. A squadron of these was kept on Gorian Shard’s corsair. This was quite a simple build. I really wanted to use those inverted slopes for the front of the ship as they have stud holes on the back which makes them easy to attach to the hull. I also wanted to use those trans-black slope pieces for the cockpit after I noticed them on one of my old Ferrari sets and thought they were perfect for the job. There is a little trick with the wings at the back as they are angled just by using 2 1x6 plates and they are positioned against cheese slopes to get a consistent angle each side for those who are a bit OCD. I could have built a smaller model than this, but it is by no means huge, and a smaller model would have had much less detail. I also think the pictures make this model look bigger than it actually is. Displayed with an official Snub Fighter Pilot minifigure. QUARREN FREIGHTER A Quarren freighter was operated around 9 ABY by Shuggoth. This ship came under attack by Mandalorian Axe Woves' privateer fleet. This was not a tricky build, but I wanted to get as many of the ‘antennas/spikes’ into the model as possible. The colour scheme of the model was also determined by part availability. It’s a shame the Bar 1L with Angled Hollow Stud pieces do not come in brown (yet?) so the nearest colour I could use for the antennas was medium nougat. They are ‘fine’ but would look better if the model was all the same colour. The trickiest part of this was to try and keep the organic feel in LEGO that all MonCal/Quarren ships have. The build is basically just a stack of round plates with a wedge piece on top. The fin at the bottom is just attached to the main hull with jumper plates. The model does the job and is recognizable at the scale. Displayed with a custom Quarren Officer. MODIFIED N-1 STARFIGHTER This was originally built a while ago for Book Of Boba Fett but as it is a major ship in Series 3, I have added it here too for completeness. As we know a modified N-1 starfighter was owned by Din Djarin following the destruction of the Razor Crest (grrrrrrr!). Djarin and the mechanic Peli Motto worked together to build the N-1 starfighter as a replacement. When I first thought about a model for this I thought just changing the colour scheme of one of the official Naboo N-1 polybags would do the trick, but once I did that, I realised I wanted more detail. The model grew from wanting to use the plate with two handles for the guns at the front but to do this the wings needed to be upside down (as the handles are offset slightly below the plate) and so an idea was born. The front is inverted using brackets attached to a technic brick with 2 holes which also allows the body to incorporate the third engine at the rear. Flipping the wings at the front also allows the “turbo” to be added in front of the cockpit in the stud hole in the bottom of a 2 x 2 tile with 2 studs. The tail is attached using one of those 1x1 round plates with a bar. Overall, this was quite a tricky little build with a lot of parts interacting to keep the size and shape this small. A few flat silver and gold pieces are also added for detail and contrast. Displayed with Peli Motto, because you know, Mando is on my Razor Crest display. Let me know what you think. 2. Hey everyone! Ever since "The Book of Boba Fett" Episode 5 was released I've been wanting to tackle this ship but I just had the time and motivation to do it now. The sequence where Mando started building the ship back up was incredibly special to me so I wanted to make the ship justice. I knew from the start that I wanted to use Inthert's model as a base since that's my favorite MOC of the ship. I've been working on this for quite a while so while it isn't a perfect 1:1 translation of every single detail I'm pretty happy with it! Didn't bother making Grogu fit on the Astromech port as that was barely a thing in S3... And yes you can fit R5 in there. Some things aren't attached properly in Stud.io but they've been tested and work IRL. The idea is to get this ship built and painted in silver (which is reflected in the renders). I'll be updating the thread with my progress. P.D: The yellow marks are missing on the front wings as those I'm planning to be painted as well due to their particular shape/faded pattern. For any of you who are curious this is what a Purist/no-paint version would look like:
  3. UPDATE: I'm finally done with the design, here is the end product: Instruction and partlist available on Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-100158/thomin/din-djarins-n-1-starfighter/ Original post below. ____________________________________________________________________________ So, after watching the latest Book of Boba Fett episode, I had to give Mando's new ship a shot. The big challenge was of course the lack of metallic silver parts (let's not even waste our thoughts on chrome silver). I had to be somewhat creative in order to get the shape done using only existing metallic silver parts, but in the end, I managed to come up with something. I'm not sure if I should keep it that way or if I should ditch the metallic silver and go for a more conventional design.
  4. NEW Models will appear in replies later in this thread Models in this thread: RAZOR CREST RIOT MAR'S STARFIGHTER NEW REPUBLIC PRISON SHIP OUTLAND TIE FIGHTER IMPERIAL DROPSHIP JUGGERNAUGHT TREXLER MARAUDER COBB VANTH'S SPEEDER 546-CLASS CRUISER (ARQUITENS) RAZOR CREST Hello everybody I thought I would take a short break from building stuff from the animated series and build something “real”. Also what better way to celebrate the launch of the first live action Star Wars TV series than by building something out of LEGO?! Unfortunately being in the UK I might have to wait to actually watch it. ☹ Anyway I present my MINI version of the Mando’s starship ‘The Razor Crest’. And I must say I am really pleased with how this little model turned out. I am especially pleased with how the engines have turned out. At first I was not sure how to attach them and keep them at the right level but in the end I settled on the minifigure neck brackets. The engines themselves are built around a 1x1 brick with studs on the sides and the two ends of the engines are connected with a 4L Bar. I also think those grey ingot pieces give the shape perfectly. The ship also goes from 1 stud wide to 2 and back again so I could use those new triangle tiles for the rear ramp section. I have also made the usual ‘Planets’ style display with the new Mandalorian minifigure. I could go on but I will let the model speak for itself. Let me know what you think. Jon PS. Is it just me or does this ship remind anyone else of the ‘Serenity’ from Firefly?
  5. Hi! The last month has been intense construction and here it is: Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter You've probably already seen a lot of projects of this vehicle, I delayed building mine for a long time. But as we know in February there will be a premiere of the 3rd season of The Mandalorian series, so it's high time for N-1 in my collection The construction was much more difficult than I thought. I wanted to get the best shape of this vehicle, while also making it durable. The number of parts in my project is 832, including the display stand I use some parts from set 75325 but decided not to buy it. I just bought stickers and a new LBG windscreen (mounted from below). The instructions for this project are almost ready. Soon I will upload the video to my Youtube where you will be able to see all the details List of parts, XML code rady to upload on bricklink https://drive.google.com/file/d/12devj019hg2ORztQcTRIr0dQM4YPFwvz/view?usp=share_link more details coming soon!
  6. This is getting out of hand, now there are three of them! Some of you might still remember this vignette: Now, I decided to make a series of Mandalorian MOCs. I noticed, that in every key moment of the show, there is a door in the scene. When we really see Mando for the first time, but also when we meet Grogu: And when they finally become "a clan of two"? There is the door with the iconic mythosaur in the background: So that's why I call it "Doors from The Mandalorian"... This is the way!
  7. Introducing our new flagship product, in development for more than two years: the Gankona! Instructions are available for download from our website at www.jorstad-designs.com. Part count: 17,007 LEGO® bricks (17,001 without lighting) Dimensions: 50 in. L × 17 in. W × 20 in. H The Gankona (Japanese for "headstrong" or "stubborn") is our recreation of the Teroch-class Mandalorian cruiser as designed by Ansel Hsiao (also known as Fractalsponge). Ansel is an artist specializing in hard surface modeling and vehicle/spaceship concept design. His work is truly amazing, and many of you may already be familiar with his work as our Proclamator-class Star Destroyer is based on another of his original creations. Please visit the hyperlinks included below to view and support his work. The Teroch is evocative of everything Mandalorian. Meaning “pitiless” in Mando’a, the Teroch is designed for full frontal assaults, reflecting the Mandalorian single-minded focus on offense with little thought for retreat or defense. Featuring a narrow attack profile with the vast majority of weaponry facing forward, only one turret is oriented purely for rear defense. In a frontal assault the Teroch brings five heavy turbolasers and four quad turbolaser batteries to bear, allowing it to quickly wear down enemy shields. Two concussion missile launchers are located on either side of the ship’s neck for close-quarters combat. The Teroch’s size allows it to maintain a full squadron of Fang fighters. Often manufactured in conjunction with their motherships, these renowned fightercraft are deadly in the hands of experienced Mandalorian pilots. When engaged in frontal assault, the hangar bay housed within the neck of the ship grants launching fighters a measure of protection against enemy fire. Of course, with all crew and passengers in full beskar with jetpacks, who needs fighters? Aware of the ship's vulnerability against coordinated fighter attacks without a full Fang complement, engineers designed a unique anti-fighter defense system. A rapid-fire launcher mounted in the ship’s nose is capable of launching specially-modified seismic charges, mining an area of space. Charges are detonated remotely, discouraging tight knots of fighters and instead forcing enemies to spread out, making it easier for Fang fighters to engage enemies and complicating approaches by enemy bombers behind fighter screens. The Teroch’s massive engines grant it the maneuverability to efficiently keep targets within forward firing arcs, while two Class-I hyperdrives allow for quick redeployment against new threats. Our model features several custom Mandalorian minifigures from Clone Army Customs - check them out! Model Description: - Fully articulating turbolasers with locking bases. - Optional LEGO® Power Functions lights compatibility with remote control operation to light up engines and nose. - Removable sections reveal bi-level minifigure-scaled playable interior, including bridge, crew quarters, armory, brig, troop deployment and storage bays, and a speeder bay containing three stowaway speeder bikes. - Conveniently located carry points for moving the model. 8. Here is my review on 75324 Dark Trooper Attack: THE GOOD: Cheaper way to get more Dark Troopers. The dark troopers are the same variant, so you do get 3! Nice interior location build. THE NOT SO GOOD: Wish it comes with hair piece for Luke. RRP not really friendly for army building. The elevator door feature doesn't work that well if Luke is holding the light saber. I have been waiting for this since the rumours started floating around late last year. It doesn't disappoint. I really wanted the dark trooper minifigure but previously it was too expensive. The cool thing is instead of giving you 2 of the same plus a different variant like battle packs in the past, they actually include 3 here. Luke is also great but what I like about this set is the location they chose. It looks pretty decent to create the scene and the building experience was not bad at all but I guess the size of it bring the price up which the really the down side of this set. Current RRP doesn't really suggest you can build an army of dark trooper easily. Including hair piece for Luke would be a plus and the elevator feature doesn't allow you make a dramatic entrance for Luke if he is holding the light saber. However, this is still a cool set based of The Mandalorian and would recommend this if you like the show and keen to get Dark Troopers without spending hundreds of dollars.
  9. My entry is a recreation of the concept art for the final scene of season 1 of The Mandalorian where Moff Gideon emerges from his crashed TIE Fighter with the Darksaber. While the final scene ended up looking very similar, there are still some key differences. For starters, the setting is during daylight, not sunset, and the TIE Fighter appears to be heavier damaged Also, the hole that Gideon cut into the hull with the Darksaber is missing and the Jawas are still in the shot as he stands atop his ship. This is likely because in the concept art the fighter seems to have crashed right side up instead of upside down, meaning that the hatch on top isn't obstructed, giving Gideon no reason to cut his way out of the cockpit and scare the Jawas off. What I really like about this concept art is how Gideon has a much more dynamic pose with his cape and the smoke behind him flowing in the wind. Reference:
  10. *Your entry has scored 6XP* (...) and I need another squadron of Tie-Fighters from your forces here, to secure the sector. - former imperial Captain Byron Varrasin yelled at the screen- You both are perfectly aware how crucial is my supremacy in this sector to your plans, are you? The dialogue was cut short by the sound of metal doors being opened in the back of the room. Damned Stormtroopers! - thought Verrasin. - What is the meaning of this interruption? - yelled while turning to see who entered the room. But those interlopers were no stormtroopers. Two, fully armored figures clad in Mandalorian armour entered the room, encircling Verrasin, with blasters pointing at him. Who the hell are you. You will pay for this insolence! - Varrasin growled, then grabbed and activated his bow-sword and gritted his teeth. Shocked imperial officials on the monitor made no sound, and stood in shock. Mandalorians stopped, still aiming guns at Verrasin, and one of them spoke. Calm, deep voice, filled with confidence - This party is over... Verrasin smirked, ready to lunge at the confident Mandalorian, but the momentarily silence was disturbed by a rifle shot. The last thing imperial captain managed to do, was turn his head towards the source of the sound. The moment of silence dragged on. - Spike! What the heck? - The Mandalorian said, his voice not as calm and confident as before. - Neh... Boring conversation anyway. - Shrugged Spike, the Mandalorian rifleman. Full Scene shot:
  11. *Your entry has scored 6XP* ####################### Location: Planet Teth. 56°39'N B'omarr Monastery Local time: 18:22 ####################### The wind howled on top of the enormous mountains where the gigantic sanctuary was located. Not only would it be dangerous to walk from the foot of the mountain to the main gate, it could be fatal. Dangerous paths, crumbling rocky arches, and deadly wildlife everywhere. However, the two Mandalorians climbed the mountain the traditional way to avoid unnecessary detection. - Are you sure it's the right place this time?- Iana Gruss asked. There was a recognizable hint of mockery in her voice. - Yes. I am. Stop tormenting me! - Rokk Latern grunted. - Exactly what you said in previous monasteries. Are we there yet? - Iana continued to mock her partner. - Can't you be silent for at least five minutes? You're almost there. - Spike's annoyed voice sounded in their helmet earpieces. - Keep it up. I think I saw movement in the main room. It will be difficult to get a clean shot. - Spike had loved this contract from the moment he heard where it was going. Mountains and lots of open space. The perfect environment for a sniper, with high terrain. And of course you don't have to climb the mountains on foot. Soon after, Rokk and Iana reached the top of the mountain and were greeted by an ancient monastery with high walls and impenetrable gates. - Engage the climb ropes. - Rokk ordered, pulling out his blaster and pointing Iana at the walls. - I don't think they like visitors - she said casually. - Why do you think so? - Rokk asked. - I don't know ... Just a hunch. - More photos: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjzz8wU Part 2:
  12. ####################### Location: Planet Teth. 56°39'N B'omarr Monastery Local time: 18:41 Target: Pou Yaganadle ####################### The hallways and chambers of the sanctuary were dark and silent, interrupted only by the sounds of sand creaking under the feet of Mandalorian shoes. - Turn on the thermal vision. The Yaganadle must be here somewhere - came the message from the helmet. It wasn't long before the two Mandalorians reached the largest chamber of the sanctuary, which looked like an audience hall. - Watch out for traps. Jabba had several of them in his palace, it may be the same here - thundered Spike in helmets. - Beware. More pics and close ups:

Decades of Imperial dominance are finally over. The Mandalorians have wrestled away control in the vicious battle remembered as the Liberation of Mandalore; Kote Yaim'ol, the "Glorious Return." The faithful warriors of Clan Eldar have provided something to all Mandalorians they have not had for far too long: a home. Now comes the time for rebuilding, for looking to the future. We must work to unite the Clans, sounding our call to bring all the exiles home. We extend the offer of friendship to all Mandalorians. Every day, more return. They join the fold, bringing their experience, their craftsmanship, their excellence. Every Mandalorian strengthens the others, strengthens us all. As in time immemorial, we fly the ancient banner of the Mando'ade. It reminds us of where we came from, and who we are. The great history of our people, our conquest, our destruction, and now, our rising again. While not every Clan has joined us, all are welcome. Together, we will build great things. History During the Great Purge, many Mandalorian families and clans were entirely wiped out. Some members of Clan Eldar were fortunate enough to escape by fleeing their homes - a hard act for any Mandalorian. These disparate groups managed to keep in touch and, now that the Empire has fallen, are tentatively making contact again. With the fall of the Empire, Clan Eldar led the charge to return Mandalore to its people whilst the Galaxy dealt with the larger threat of Pyerce and his Imperial ideals. Eldar's attention turned to restoring people's trust and faith in Mandalore. The Duchess rallied the returning Houses and Clans under the banner of The Mando'ade, in the hope that Mandalorians could once again be unified in the Galaxy... Leadership Mandalorian society is pyramidal: it has a ruler, big internal factions known as houses, and familial units (clans) allied with said house. The Mando'ade unite behind The Duchess, for her efforts uniting the Clans and forming a resistance against Imperial oppression. Once more restoring a free Mandalore. Beneath the Duchess, a council formed of the Clan heads sit to ensure no Mandalorian is forgotten. Costume Famously clad in the beskar'gam (Iron Skin), many Mandalorians honour their family by wearing the Beskar passed down to them through the generations. Many choose to reforge and redesign their armour to make it more befitting to it's new owner, others choose to let the imperfections of time tell their family history. But not all Mandalorians wear armour, owing to the scarcity of Beskar. Those that do may wear incomplete armour too. Nonetheless, Members of The Mando'ade, and their allies, wear a wide range of different-coloured armour, and some wear no armour at all. No Beskar helmet (Buy'Ce) is gender specific. The Art of The Mandalorian states it denotes a sub faction and not gender in much the same way as the helmet designs of ancient Greece offered regional variation of the same design. All buckets are welcome within The Mando'ade! But times have not been kind to the Clans, and many new members still need to earn their armour... The Mando'ade does not expect its members to follow The Way. [MOC] Boba Fett's SLAVE I

Hi! Time to show you my new project! Now it's only virtual design but I have to start somehow not Boba Fett's Starship, this is... SLAVE I Built in Stud.io, it lasted for several weeks. The catalog contains 1376 parts, but that is changing all the time. There will be about 100-150 more on a display stand. Scale similar to 75243, but with slightly different proportions, more refined. The functions include an opening back storage, with space for minifigures or carbonite. The wings are movable. Cabin for Boba Fett with control panels, also rotating. A PDF Instructions will be available in October 2021. First, I have to build it myself and check if everything works properly (don't trust the rebrickably MOCs, which even the author himself did not build) What do you think about this project? If you are interested in this project, be sure to check out my youtube channel - edge of bricks, there will be more about this project soon.

Those who aren't prepared to let someone else deny their right to exist. "So if you've got the guts to wear the armour, I say you've earned the right to be a Mandalorian. Soldiers Clan Eldar consisted of Mandalorian warriors that donned Mandalorian armour with black, dark green, and orange color. Nonetheless, Members of Clan Eldar, and their allies, wear a wide range of different-coloured armour, and some wear no armour at all. Times have not been kind to the Clan, and many new members still need to earn their armour. Clan Eldar does not expect its members to follow The Way. Removal of your helmet does not make you any less Mandalorian. Giving up does.
  16. To me, the “purist” line is drawn at using fake/custom/3D printed moulds and permanent modification. For many of my custom figures, I make pauldrons and kamas out of paper, and sometimes even torso wrap-around things. I also make “paper decals” (idk) where I would usually just create markings and the like which I use blu-tack to stick onto the figure. As LEGO fans, would you approve of this and/or consider it “purist”?

    [MOC] 75292 B-model "Slave 1"

This is an alternative build of the Lego Set 75292 Razor Crest from The Mandalorean Show. For instructions visit my Rebricable Profile: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-69329/A_Great_Builder/slave-1-75292-b-model/#details The B-Model is also the iconic Slave 1. The ship used by Boba Fett. This Slave 1 version is inspired by the one used at the end of The Mandalorean season 2. You can see the detail in the ramp as it is a little different from the one used in The Empire Strikes Back. The cabin fits a minifigure and I included instructions to build a display. No additional parts are required; just the ones included in the set.
  19. Over a month of design and here it is: The Razor Crest from The Mandalorian Series! Currently I have finished the virtual version, I checked many connections on real bricks. Building this vehicle was one of the most difficult things I did. Mapping the shape required many non-standard connections and inventing more and more strange solutions. Razor currently contains 2040 parts, including a display stand and landing gears. I also built an interior, many things open up. This is not the final version yet, some details, such as the painting may change. The full announcement will be available in a few days on my YouTube - Edge of Bricks! What do you think about this project? :)
  20. Hi all! my new project is ready: Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighterreferring to the final episode of Season 2 of The Mandalorian. I wanted the X-Wing in my collection, but the 75301 is average for me, and the 75218 is already very expensive. This is my MOC/MOD based on a set of 75218 and a bit of a 75301. I think the design from Lego (75218) is very good, so I just wanted to improve a few things and build it from easy available elements. The full presentation is now available on my youtube channel - EDGE OF BRICKS PDF Instructions is available: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-76703/EDGE OF BRICKS/xwing-fighter/#details
  21. *Your entry has earned 8 XP* Kessel, the name said it all. If ever there was a planet known for its ill repute it was here. Spice. Slavery. Corruption. Kessel was synonymous with these. During the Imperial incursion of Mandalore, many were taken and offloaded as workers to the mines here. It was time to investigate and free the captives. Additionally, rumours abound of stolen treasures being amassed on Kessel. Amongst this, we’d uncovered reports of ancient Jedi and Mandalorian artefacts such as Holocron’s and Beskar, stolen and hoarded long ago. But this mission required detailed planning and a small team was tasked by the Duchess herself to extend our protectorate further, we’d been oppressed as a people and a culture before and so we would help others where we can. In the capital, Sundari, preparations are well under way as we join the team in preparation for their journey on to Kessel. A mix of disciplines, the select team covered all bases - Trackers and scouts, heavy hitters, pilots, mechanics, informants and droids. We’d only be heading there once and we’d get the job done first time. Without fanfare, an open hangar is where we find a chaos of activity, in readiness for the shuttle to take them to Kessel...

The new Round 3 x 3 x 2 with Recessed Center and Axle Hole makes a great engine intake with the Bar with light cover. [MOC] Outland TIE Fighter

Hi! A long time ago I watched episode 7 of The Mandalorian series, where appeared ... OUTLAND TIE FIGHTER I immediately added it to my "to do list" After a long time and many other MOCs, the time has come for TIE - for the Empire! I was building the project for a few weeks - it was not easy because I decided to use a new 3x3 round corner in it. I wanted to do something different, there are so many TIE projects already, it's hard to come up with something new. Project contains 914 parts. This is the Outland version - it has foldable wings. There are a few good mechanisms, I improved it, TJ Lego Room showed it some time ago. I added technic liftarms, changed a few other things. Landing gears is an additional stand - I didn't want to install it permanently in the cabin. This would worsen its appearance and weaken the structure. More on my youtube, link below. Project is also available on Rebrickable here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-72054/EDGE OF BRICKS/outland-tie/#details
  24. The Gauntlet was a Kom'rk-class fighter/transport owned by the former Mandalorian splinter-faction leader turned bounty hunter Pre Vizsla. Designed and constructed by the Mandalorian starship manufacturing corporation, MandalMotors, the Gauntlet took its name from the Basic language translation of the Mando'a word, Kom'rk. Equipped with powerful engines and twin laser cannons, Gauntlet fulfilled dual roles as a troop transport and starfighter, and was maintained by Vizsla— former leader of the Mandalorian splinter-group known as the Death Watch—as his personal transport during the galaxy-spanning Clone Wars. It was later owned by his son, who used it in bounty hunting during the Galactic Civil War era. The Gauntlet was a Kom'rk-class fighter/transport, and like the smaller models of the Kom'rk-class, measured 52.3 meters in length. Gauntlet possessed broad, angular, rotating wings the rotated to an upright landing position when grounded. The starship was also equipped with dual, forward-facing laser cannons located at the nose of the main body, and powerful engines that made Gauntlet one of the fastest troop transports in the galaxy. (not canon) owner info: After being proclaimed dead (Pre Vizsla faked his death at the hands of Darth Maul), and losing his title of leader of Death Watch to the Sith lord, Pre Vizsla escaped Mandalore on his ship, the Gauntlet. He fled to parts unknown, and had his ship repainted into a rusted colors of browns, grays, and black. Pre Vizsla held out for the rest of the Clone Wars on the desert world of Tatooine, hiding his ship in the bustling space-port of Mos Esiley at Docking Bay 93. It was around this time he found himself a wife, one of the refugees from the further out in the Outer Rim sieges. Her name has never been recorded as she died in child birth, but their son has: Par Vizsla. Around the time of rise of the Empire, the father went into business of bounty hunting, and Pre made sure to teach his son the importance of their shared Mandalorian heritage. When Pre died of old age around 3 years Before the Battle of Yavin ( or 3-BBY for short), Par Vizsla took his father's ship and armor and began bounty hunting full-time. He took this profession as a sort of challenge against Boba Fett, the "top dog" of the bounty hunting world, and another Mandalorian-armor wearing hunter. Their rivalry would go on for some time, until Boba was "accidentally" eaten by the Sarlacc. Par Vizsla then had to fight off several new threats to his "top Mandalorian" status, until finally being lost in the deep core chasing a bounty and was then termed MIA around the time of the Battle for Jakku.... though what truly happened to him and his ship will never fully be known. After all, he was chasing the Millennium Falcon! The cockpit seats two figures, one pilot / owner, and one bounty in handcuffs. The cargo area folds up, (and down) and can store a single crate. The ship, while landed, has the two side arms fold upwards 90 degrees. Builders notes: This model is a color-changed and slightly modified version of set 9525 (Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter). I liked the model, but not the color scheme, so I changed it to match one of the figures in the new Mandalorian battle pack (set 75267), who is going to pilot this ship. I removed the ability for the ship's cockpit to turn 90 degrees sideways while flying as I didn't like how it looked. The landing function still operates as intended, though. The story I wrote that goes with this model is 100% my own fan fiction. It has been inspired by the Clone Wars TV show and other bits of info from the Star Wars Wikipedia about various topics. Most (but not all) of the ship's info is straight from the Gauntlet's page on that wiki. (This model should be built in real life next year, hopefully by mid-March.)

    [MOC] Raider on the Edge

Hi! Some time ago I finished building my AT-ST Raider. I liked the project very much, I thought it would be a good idea to build some diorama... RAIDER ON THE EDGE project has started :) MOC refers to the 4th episode "The Sanctuary" of The Mandalorian series, The main theme will be the battle between Mando and Cara Dune against the AT-ST Raider and Klatooinians. Currently, I already have a diorama outline, there are little lakes and first details. I order parts all the time, a lot of olive green and dark tan bricks. If you want see more, check my youtube:
