"When Kopaka, Gali, and Lewa unite their powers and forms, they become the mighty Wairuha! With the strength and wisdom of three Toa, Wairuha is ready to protect Okoto from whatever threats it may face!" After building my own Toa Kaita Wairuha with the 2015 Toa last year, I was eager to give it another crack with the 2016 versions. Surprisingly, this year's Wairuha turned out even better, even considering difficult-to-use parts like the new torso armor! Of course, I doubt Akamai will work out nearly as well... but then, he didn't last year, either. This model uses only the parts from the three component Toa (not including their respective creatures). I'd love to try and build a Creature Kaita to go with this, but so far the even more limited parts selection has made that challenging. Pose 2 Pose 3 Front View Back View Weapons EDIT: Finished "Creature Kaita"! "Uxar, Akida, and Melum combine their forms and powers to form Haikara, the Great Creature of Wisdom! With the strength and wisdom of three elemental creatures, Haikara is ready to assist Wairuha in the battle against evil!" I finally succeeded at creating a "Creature Kaita" to go with Wairuha! This model not only manages to make good use of the parts from the three creatures, but also packs in some impressive functionality and augments Wairuha well when united. Back View United, Back View EDIT 2: Instructions for Wairuha are complete! Instructions for Haikara are coming soon! EDIT 3: Instructions for Haikara are finished as well!

Hi! I'm usually a Bzpower resident, but I wanted to post here as well for this . Due to me being a new member, contacting me by PM would best be done on BZpower (as I can't actually send PMs on this site yet). Some of you old timers may remember me from a fan project that went on waaaaay back when to create 3D media for Bionicle called Bionicle: Next Generation, or as the guy who made the 3D model which was later turned into a solid bronze vahi (http://www.bzpower.c...me-human-scale/) and 3D printed a voya nui online game style Ignika (http://www.bzpower.c...tyle-real-mask/). A few months back I was with a friend who shares my love of Bionicle and he showed me a redesign of a Miru he drew. Since his birthday was coming up I suggested that I could model his design and get it printed. As you can imagine he jumped on the idea and after a month or so of on and off work I finally had a final model, and a couple weeks after that his present arrived in the mail from Shapeways. I unfortunately forgot to ask him to get some pictures of it before he painted it, but with that aside I really like what he did with the white paint and I feel it gives it a tribal feeling reminiscent of those early years. Here is the Photobucket gallery: http://s1164.photobu...y/Miru redesign inside it are also some progress pictures (that are pretty bad quality I must admit as at the time I was just using them for feedback from my friend) as well as some of the original drawings my friend did. I apologize for not having better quality images of the mask itself, I'm just using what I have. After seeing the mask, me and my buddy were really happy with how it turned out, so we thought we might as well make it available to anyone else who wants one! I have a topic discussing the details of obtaining that along with my old Ignika model (which I am now also putting up for you guys on Shapeways) right here: http://www.bzpower.c...esign-for-sale/

Click the Above Link for the full gallery! Lewa is the daredevil Toa of Air, tossing caution to the wind at any chance he gets. His attitude allows him to perform breathtaking stunts and acrobatics that the other Toa Mata can only hope to match. Of course, Lewa’s competitive streak will push him to goad the others into contests, even if they know he’ll blow them away anyways. There’s something about his frantic actions and longwinded gabbering that keep him on everyone’s good side, even if they don’t show it. Lewa is agile and quick, well adapted to life among the trees inLe-Wahi, moving like a breeze in and through the canopy. He can control the very air itself, using it to further enhance his agility and grace. With his Toa Tool, a lightweight yet sturdy axe, he can direct the wind in more outwardly practical manners. (This moc here represents Lewa as he appears in the Bionicle: Rebuild universe.)

I'm so sorry... Before he masters it, he must taste it.
