  1. Hello everyone, I made this pick-up almost two months ago (before I joined Eurobricks) and I would really like to hear your thoughts about it. It is 50 studs long, 28 studs wide, 15 studs high and weighs 1285g. Motorized and remotely controlled - 2L motors (driving), stereo motor (steering), 8878 battery, V2 IR receiver. Front tires from 8070 supercar, rear from 42000 Grand Prix Racer. Working V8 fake engine with some details to make it resemble real V8 engine, connected directly to the driving motors - works at the same speed no matter what gear you choose (in neutral also). Suicide doors with working door handles, Rear doors and roof window can be opened. Fake fuel tank and chrome stripes in the cargo area. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through 4 gears manual gearbox. Leaf spring suspension with height-adjustable rear (manual with levers in the cargo area). Working turn signals (front and rear) - connected to a servo motor via coupled PF switches. Working steering wheel. Other details and functions that I would like to point out: Retractable license plate (simple manual mechanism). Lights (front and rear) manually controlled with a lever behind steering wheel - connected to a speed dial of 8878 battery (on/off and low/high beam). Working radiator fan, connected directly to a V8 engine. Hi I'm L, still mainly play with PF1 motor even PF2 has been released for now With the PF2(new electrical system that broke the old lego paradigm) PF1 motor are no longer likely to come out anymore Imao So I'd like to make compatible motor for the PF1 electric building system myself consider the proper shapes, specifications, and placement of the wires and while im making it, i wanna make it really good and nice to use, over lego motor to acieve it, I want to hear the user's reaction or wish. Size Compared to Old Motor, Powerfunctions & Powered Motors are bigger with planetary gear(to get more torqe However, instead of getting enough torque, sometimes the size of motor is too big and need your idea or opinion about it(like problem with big size or nice experience) 2. Shape(or design) there was an idea(M motor was oval type, and L&XL Motor were difficult to hold conrrecly because of the round shape) the Old lego, on the other hand, close to rectangle write any idea on it please :) 3. Building system(Coupling method) its really nice for me but sometimes the rc car's wheel was disassembled while running because of coherence weakness and hope the coherence of Pin & hole was more stronger. write any idea or your experience on it too please :) 4. specifications Imao the most frustrating part is specification especially torque i saw that many ppl use motor in parallel to get enough torque or just satisfied with just moving even slowly I'd like to hear your opinions.   7. Hi everyone, Finally, I have finished a project which I was building since last September. It is the scale model of the Intrac 2011 snow blower which is/was often used in the swiss alps by the army and other communal parties. It was the aim to create another working snow blower after the success of the snow blower from last winter. The blower is powered by three buggy-motors which are all controlled by a separate Sbrick. Each track is driven by two PF XL motors. The snow blower shoot direction is controlled by two 9-volt micro motors and the height of the snow blower by one PF L motor. As power source I used two Buwizz as battery or a custom lipo battery. After a certain time in the cold I had the replace the Buwizz with the custom lipo battery. Cheers FT
  8. Review and instructions: Hi! I’m glad to show my new MOC – it’s Merlo Roto Telehandler in 1:11 scale. Here you can see the real machine: The dimensions: 80 x 25 x 30 cm, total weight – 5,7 kg. The max height is 83 cm. The model contains approximately 5100 parts. The model has eight remote controlled functions (three S-bricks, 14 motors). 1. Four L-motors for AWD with diffs. 2. Two servo-motors with independent control for steering. We can steer normal, with reduced radius or crab. 3. Outriggers deploying – two M-motors. 4. Superstructure rotation – one XL-motor. 5. Boom raising – two M-motors. The boom is rather heavy it can’t lift significant additional weights. 6. Boom extension – one M-motor. 7. The rigs operation – one M-motor. I’ve created classic fork and crane. 8. Cab lift for visibility improvement. In addition to motorized functions the model has suspension with solid axles (eight hard shock absorbers), detailed cab and other cool features.   10. The topic is updated with detailed review: Hi! I’m glad to show you my new MOC made for Lego and Volvo contest. The task was “Build construction equipment of the future”. My little pet was designed special for Mars developing. Artificial intelligence allows this machine to perform different operations simultaneously. This monster replaces excavator, loader, tunneler, dozer. It can be used for road construction, tunnel boring, preparation of construction sites and many other tasks. All-around lighting system and cameras form 3D vision of the surrounding scene in a wide electromagnetic spectrum. Because of low solar irradiance on Mars the machine is powered by a compact nuclear reactor. Model features: 100 x 36 x 45 cm, weight - 7.4 kg. The model contains 16 motors. 1. Chassis - All-track drive (4x XL-motor) - Independent steering for crab mode up to 90 degrees and zero turning radius (4x M-motor) - Central pylon has an automatic leveling system. The tilt sensor is the weight on a pendant. If lengthwise tilt occurs the weight turns the motor on (buggy motor, I just have no wires for PF motors). The motor is interfaced with four linear actuators which level the superstructure - Central pylon has two co-axial independent turntables for different equipment 2. Loader - 360 degrees rotation (M-motor) - Boom lifting mechanism (L-motor) - Boom extension with synchronized counterweight movement (mechanical binding, M-motor) - Bucket loading and unloading (M-motor) 3. Tunneler - 360 degrees rotation (M-motor) - Boom tilting mechanism (L-motor) - Drilling head has five types of movement (XL-motor). The central part rotates fast in forward direction, the second part – in opposite direction, the third part – slowly in forward direction, eight additional cutters rotate in perpendicular plane. In addition, the whole drilling head unit moves in a reciprocating manner like a puncher - Because of absence of liquid water on Mars I suggest to use a huge vacuum cleaner to remove dust from drilling (you can see six working propellers near the drilling head) All the functions have remote control except for the leveling system – it operates automatically.     This Lego tripod Is really useful if you want to make smooth clips, avoid shaky videos and even when you have to capture some really fast movements. It is compatible with most of the common phones because of its elastic phone holder. You should also use this LEGO tripod when you want to make a good timelapse because it stays stuck in the position, you need, because of the pneumatic piston placed opposite the handle.   13. I built this dump truck, because I have an excavator and the LEGO bucket wheel excavator, and I just needed a truck to have the complete construction side vehicle park. This truck has 3 axles, one in front and two rear. It has one xl motor to keep the truck going forward, one L motor to power the bed lift cylinder and a servo motor to steer. Its powered by Sbrick because it needs to have more than one speed to operate with the truck, otherwise, it would be so hard to operate the truck at small places.     [GBC] Upslide

    I forgot to post this last week, here's my latest module Upslide. It uses a helical pusher to push balls up a friends slide, and it's powered by a PF M Motor. I tried to run it at BrickCan this weekend, but it only performed for a few hours before having a bunch of issues I'll need to fix. I need to reinforce the input bin walls, tweak the output at the top of the slide, and fix a small gearing issue for the helical drive. Stay tuned for a version 2.

  19. Been a Lego fan since my younger days. I have a background in Industrial Design, worked in lighting and the commercial furniture industry for about 15 years. Purchased Lego Architecture Studio 4 years ago, while on holiday in New York. A lot of sets don't make their way downunder to New Zealand. Expanded the 'white bricks' with the help of a local Bricklink seller, enjoyed constructing a variety of architectural buildings. I have had a renewed interest in Lego Technic sets since my 7 year old daughter showed an interest in a Lego Technic Excavator 42006 that I had sitting in a bookcase. So we purchased and jointly built the Claas Xerion Tractor 42054, she enjoys seeing the mechanical side of builds come together. We have since brought the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, built it in it's standard form. Then went all out with modifications, the first being a right-hand conversion (we drive on the left-hand side of the road in New Zealand). Earlier in the year the Mack Anthem was added to the collection and we have just ordered the Bugatti Chiron, due in New Zealand in August at NZD$649.99! Looking forward to building another big car and following some of the modifications on Eurobricks. Cheers.

  22. Hello! I would like to share with you my new work. GAZ "Tiger" (GAZ-233036 or SPM-2). It's russian 4x4, multipurpose, all-terrain infantry mobility vehicle manufactured by GAZ, first delivered to the Russian Army in 2006. Primarily used by the Russian Federation's armed forces. Specifications: Four-wheel drive Independent suspension Open all doors, hood and sunroof The steering wheel in the car is synchronized with the steering Row 6-cylinder engine 4 L Motors for Motion Servo motor for power steering M motor to winch drive Power and control implemented by BuWizz 1.0 Weight - 2.3 kg Length - 50 cm Width - 20 cm Height - 20 cm Description: The model is executed on a scale of 1:11. The project was started in the middle of 2016, but it can be considered completed only now. The model is based on the GAZ-233036 armored vehicle, GAZ Tiger or SPM-2 (special police machine), which can be found in the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular in the OMON. In the process of construction, the main question was how to force a model that weighs more than 2 kg to go and not crawl like the Lego trial trucks, and indeed most large models weighing more than 1,500 kg. To the aid came BuWizz, the power of which was enough to allow the Tiger to move with the speed of SUVs from the Lego of medium size, while overcoming small obstacles and not adding weight (hello to the big Lego battery packs). Each axis is driven by separate pairs of L motors with a gear ratio of 2.8 through the open differentials in front and rear. For the steering is responsible servo motor, running synchronously with the steering wheel in the cabin. In the front bumper there is a winch, powered by an M motor.     [GBC] D.R.O.P

    Hey Guys, Here's my latest GBC module D.R.O.P (dark red olive pusher). It's not the most exciting module, nor did I do the original engineering of the mechanics. I did however choose the colours and changed up the original design so that this is a bit more sleek looking. It's kind of slow, and somewhat unexciting, but I did manage to hook it up to a shared power system (later in the video) which runs 3 modules off 1 M motor with a simple axle chain using universal joints. Its reliable up to around 22 balls, any more and the arm may not be able to get underneath the balls to sweep them out. Having said that it *should* be able to clear the 1BPS rate of the GBC standard. I'm planning on running this at BrickCan next week and if the module does seem a bit slow I will regear it from 8-40 to 24-40 at the lift-arm.

    SHOOTING GBC

    Hello, this is the first GBC that I have ever made. It just has a shooter, which shoots the balls about 10cm high and 7cm far and a basket where the balls should go in. Its powered by the L motor, it has one battery box. It can´t be powered manually because the panels which stretch the shooter need the same speed all the time. Otherwise, the shooter will shoot the balls with different power.
