Hi! Stay home they said so... this is my new MOC design! Imperial Troop Transport New project ready - this time the Imperial machine, which unexpectedly appeared on the Mandalorian series! The vehicle currently consists of equal 1003 bricks, although it always changes during construction. Inside we have an interior for 2 drivers, 6 stormtroopers on the side, inside an additional 8 or 10 depending on whether we take equipment on board. The roof will be removable, the ramp and hatch open, plus a revolving cannon. The PDF Instructions will be available in April! Full Preview on my Youtube - Edge of Bricks, link below

[LDD][MOC] Imperial Troop Transport (Star Wars Rebels)
LegoStarWarsLDDShop posted a topic in LEGO Star Wars
When I first heard that the LEGO company was releasing a rendition of the vehicle back in January 2015, I had high hopes that their set would be faithful to its inspiration. Sadly, that wasn't the case, and their rendition was definitely my least favorite of that wave. I've been wanting to make this vehicle for some time. After finding another great MOC from another LEGO Designer, my design finally came together. If you wish to see his project, which is exceptional, you can click here. The design features many of the features seen in the original ship, namely a rotatable top cannon, a central canopy with space for 2 drivers and a commanding officer, 6 side areas for prisoners or deploying troops, and 2 adjustable front guns. Along with a very sturdy frame design, this is the perfect rendition of the fan-favorite Imperial vehicle. Here are some pictures of the design from different viewing points. Let me know in the comments what you think of this design, and be sure to tell the original designer how nice his MOC is as well, as his is the inspiration for this design. You can also go to MOCpages & to see this vessel, if you want.- 4 replies

Imperial Troop Transport Moc: This is my custom imperial troop transport, seen in the show star wars rebels. The cockpit and gun turret can be removed, and the gunner's seat slides back and forth. the transport has room for six troopers (from the official lego transport set), an imperial pilot, and a gunner/scout trooper. the side doors slide up to give access to the inside, and the gunners seat can be made into a turret. here are the pictures.

Back to publishing MOC with this Imperial Troop Transport. Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr It is based on the Kenner toy from the 80's and that I owned before selling it. (argh) This version is different from the SW Rebels version, mainly because of the front curved face. I also used as inspiration source the LDD model available on Rebrickable. Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr I fully redesigned the side passenger pods, the roof, the turred and the radar. The rear side also use a different greebling. Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Detailed cockpit with room for playability... Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr I decided to keep a large room inside the vehicle in order to park a small speeder or a portable canon. My son truly loves putting stuff inside this vehicle. Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr Imperial Troop Transport by Veynom, on Flickr And a family picture with the other star vehicle from Star Wars Rebels, the AT-DP. My second freebuild. Following my arrest (see http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=100455) the stormtrooper sergent called for a transporter Inside was a large wookie behind bars. Fearing that I would be put behind the bars with him, I was glad to be pushed towards a bench that I assumed was normally used by the storm troopers. Already sat on the opposite bench was a woman wearing a pilot's helmet. As I looked nervously towards the wookie she didn't take her eyes off of the storm trooper From the forward compartment I heard a trooper on the radio: "Yes sir we have picked up the Rodian, heading back to base now" More views of the Imperial Troop Transporter: After travelling for a long time, for what must have been a significant distance, I wondered if we had left the industrial centre. Of course I had no idea what was happening outside... Rebel trooper: Yes I have visual confirmation of the transport, the transponder is functioning correctly, we'll get our pilot back Thanks for looking, I would like this build to be judged pleased
