    Armada Conquistadors

We thought we'd show off our Custom Imperial Armada army which we made for a stop motion series. Since the armada soldiers are quite expensive currently, we decided to just buy the helmets as well as the viking torso from lego online pick a brick, paired with black legs and random faces. There are 6 riflemen, 3 pikemen (one off screen) as well as 2 officers and Don Diego De Lego The riflemen have satchels as well as muskets The pikemen have spears with axe blades clipped on The officers have shortswords and Don Diego De Lego has a basic cutlass Overall, we're happy with the look of the soldiers, especially since they are not so colourful

I've soaked and cleaned most of the sails with Oxiclean, except the Imperial Flagship, because I don't know if it is safe for that thinner, scrappier, stiffer material. I'm not sure what either version of the sails (and capes and flags) are made of, but I've soaked all the older style material with no issues, but I can't find anything about cleaning the later cloth material. I also didn't know sails could yellow until I read about it and saw the video posted here. The lower front sail on the Skull's Eye Schooner was slightly yellowed, and it was back to normal after an Oxiclean bath. https://imgur.com/gallery/o1hdAys For some fraying and unthreading sails on my childhood copy of the original Imperial Flagship, and some extra Armada Flagship and Black Seas Barracuda sails, I cut right at where the thread emerged from the sail, and carefully cut off some threadbare unraveled sections that are prime for more fraying. Hopefully cutting those off will stop that. The childhood Imperial Flagship sails are going to get soaked too. They were in a shed at my grandma's old house that had holes in it and got very dirty! I'm just glad those sails and the other two hull sections were there! I thought I had lost them! How would you lose such giant parts haha. I hope to be more active here again from now on! And don't worry, no second dark age here. I have a good ten years worth of MOCs and grown collection of sets and bulk parts to share. I have so many parts from childhood and adult sets, bulk collections, eBay, Pick-a-Brick, Bricks & Pieces, and Bricklink orders, I can sit down and pretty much build whatever I want to my heart's content, and I've got a dedicated hobby room and big work table with a bunch of bins now. There's also model trains, slot cars, die-cast, and retro games in that same room. :) Happy to be back and thanks ahead of time for any help and advice on getting my Imperial Flagship back on the open sea again!

Hi everyone, I have build a small ship for a small Imperial Armada layout. I pictures were already posted on LowLUG forum. I received a lot of feedback regarding the lack of color. Tell me, what do you think? For more pictures, see my Flickr album. Sander

    Imperial Armada Trading Post

Hello all! I haven't done any builds in a while, so one day when I was looking at some images of lego trading posts, I decided to make my own. I noticed I built stuff for my Bluecoats and Redcoats, but nothing for my Imperial Armada/Spanish. So, I decided to borrow the figures and flag from the Armada Flasghip and build a small trading post! Here we go. The frontal view of the trading post (excuse the slight slant of the pic). It features 5 minifigures, a rowboat with unloading cargo, a dock with an upper and lower part and a dock lamp. Spanish Captain talks to Merchant, other merchant starts to unload his cargo. A Armada soldier guards on top of the Trading Post. Imperial Armada Trading Post by James McGill, on Flickr Top view of the soldier, flag and cargo barrels on the top. Imperial Armada Trading Post 2 by James McGill, on Flickr Top pops off and reveals the interior which features a small table with a cup and two maps. It can fit a minifigure. There is a good look at the lamp and the cargo, and the side of the trading post. Imperial Armada Trading Post side by James McGill, on Flickr Thanks for reading!

    [MOC] Probe Droid

Hello everyone and regards from Finland, I am a new member on this forum and I thought I'd like to share some of my recent MOCs. I am Star Wars fan to the ultimatum and here you go, as my first MOC here: Lego MOC Probe Droid Features two Lego-battlepack blasters, the other hidden into the core structure, and the other lurking between the legs. The head also rotates as in the movies. This MOC will also make a small part of the Kessel diorama we are setting up for the ModelExpo 2015 in Helsinki (10.-12.4.) with Hereticae and a couple of other builders. Those dark grey clips on the core that hold together those black control sticks on a tube I will change to black ones when I happen find/buy more of them. Those red 1 x 1 plates are the bolts of the blasters that are not very easily seen from this angle. Challenge: take Lego-pictures without cat megablocks in the picture. So far success rate 50 % for Legos. Apparently the Imperial Viper Droid was no match against the mighty Krayt Dragon... -Samppu
