  1. I have recently downloaded the latest LEGO Digital Designer, 4.3.12, to digitally design a whole chunk of Hero Factory heroes and villains. It's really good, and has 1.0 parts, 2.0 parts, 3.0 parts and Breakout parts. However, it's missing Brain Attack parts. I know that there is a Digital Designer with the Brain Attack parts, however there's so many Digital Designers and I don't really have the data to download each and every single LDD just to get a few parts. There's also a lot of missing Breakout pieces, such as for Core Hunter and XT4, and 1.0 parts, like Stormer's helmet and chest plate, Stringer's helmet and various weapons. I would really appreciate it if I could know which LDD has these parts.
  2. Hello and welcome to my first Review on Eurobricks! I got this Bootleg Version of Breez from my Mom who was in Thailand 2 weeks prior. Since there are hardly any Reviews about Bootleg Figures, I thought it was a good idea to make a Review out of this obscure find. Since I don't have anything like a light box, I "crafted" one myself with a chair and 2 sheets of paper,so I apologize for this low-bugdet decision, I hope you can still see everything clear and sharp. So is this a good copy or does it belong in the trash? Let's get started! Box: Front: Bootleg 2 by Dosenbrot!, auf Flickr The Front of the box, the figure came already assembled. There's also the instruction manual printed on the backside of the cardboard. Back: Bootleg 1 by Dosenbrot!, auf Flickr Here we have the Earth Tutelary, War for the invader from Space. Gotta love the broken English these Knock-offs have. Interesting Parts: Special Parts: Bootleg 3 by Dosenbrot!, auf Flickr Here are the most interesting parts of the set. The Torso bone has an axle connection right under the upper ball joint, which would be really useful for MOCs. You cant really see it here so I made a second picture of it. The Silver Leg shell just states "Hero" on it. The Torso shell has a very cool texture on it which gives it some extra detail. Instead of the 2.0 Head, there are using a red Glatorian Head, also the Headgear has an Axle Connector. Torso-Bone: Bootleg 4 by Dosenbrot!, auf Flickr The Torso bone again, now you can clearly see the axle connection port. In my opinion the most useful part of this whole figure. Color-Comparison: Bootleg 5 by Dosenbrot!, auf Flickr On the left side we have the Bootleg parts. The Colors are pretty spot on, but you can clearly see the difference between them, especially on the silver headgear. But the brick quality isn't that bad actually, its quite good for a Bootleg. The Figure: Front: Bootleg 6 by Dosenbrot!, auf Flickr Breez from the front. Yes, she has blue spikes instead of red ones. I dont know how you can mess this up but they did. Edit: Thanks to Kalhiki I just saw that she also has the 1.0 Core instead of the 2.0 one! Back: Bootleg 7 by Dosenbrot!, auf Flickr The Back. Nothing special to see here. Posing: Pose 1: Bootleg 8 by Dosenbrot!, auf Flickr While it has a more cheaper plastic than the official LEGO, it kinda has a good quality. Bricks have enough friction for more comlicated Poses and they dont fell like they will break off that easy. Pose 2: Bootleg 9 by Dosenbrot!, auf Flickr This also works, thanks to the hand having enough friction to hold the whole figure. Final Verdict: Bootleg 10 by Dosenbrot!, auf Flickr A final picture. Verdict: You know, for a "cheap knock-off" the quality off the bricks is pretty good, especially since you need it for Action Figures so they don't break too fast. It also has some nice Parts, especially the Torso. But would I combine this one with my real LEGO? Probably not. So all in all, a pretty solid set. I hope you enjoyed my Review, leave me a comment down below and thanks for Reading! Cheers!

  4. Since Hero Factory first started, I wondered how it could be connected with Bionicle. My current theory is that, after Mata Nui became dormant again, the Agori and Matoran needed a solution to their problems. Glatorian were too weak, and Toa were too few. Over hundreds of years, technology advanced, space travel was harnessed and new planets were discovered. It was then that an enterprising young Agori by the name of Akiyama Makuro finally developed a factory capable of building new warriors, known as Heroes. Do you have a different theory? Post it below!
  5. I've finally decided to part ways with Bionicle (sorry Constraction Forum!!!). Maybe I'll get back into it if we ever get a G3, but for now, I'm selling all of my G1 sets. Will sell only as a lot via eBay. I am very open to offers, so don't let that price discourage you. Just be fair - there's a ton here! Contacting me via eBay is the best way to make an offer or to ask a question. Feel free to ask! Read the full description on eBay. More pictures on eBay as well.

  9. Hello everyone, this is my new LEGO Gundam MOC. This time i want to try to build a Mobile Suit from Universal Century timeline which has similar design with RX78-2 Gundam in the Scale 1/60. This Gundam is from the movie "Mobile suit Gundam F91", piloted by Arno Seabook ( appear again in Cross Bone Gundam ). The "F" in the name stand for "Formula". This is light class Gundam, and of course shorter than other normal Mobile Suit. But this Suit equipped with the very powerful weapon: Variable Speed Beam Rifles (VSBR) on the back. This is my Youtube channel (demon1408): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9ZlMk-PW3hKg4ZOzzGd2pg?view_as=subscriber And if you like this, please support me in LEGO Idea : https://ideas.lego.com/projects/8dc1c051-9ba0-4d11-80bd-0ad14a5319a2 Weapon: _Mega Machine Cannon _Beam Sabers _Beam Shield _Variable Speed Beam Rifles (VSBR) References: _Master Grade 2.0 (MG) _Movie art Albums: Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/134378223@N05/albums/72157700972342935 Devian Art: https://www.deviantart.com/demon14082000/gallery/67512324/LEGO-Gundam-F91 ***You can check the Youtube video for full gimmick and articulation : Over view: LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr With Beam Rifle: LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr With Mega Machine Cannon: LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr The Cannon can be attach on the back: LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr LEGO Gundam F91 by demon1408, trên Flickr Using the VSBR: After switch the VSBR to the front, you can extend the length and armor of the weapon. At first i just make it extend the length just like the MG version. But then i think its possible to implement the extended armor just like Metal Build version, and this is the result. Maybe you will see it clearer in the Youtube video. 13. Hello everyone ! Some months ago, I designed several custom parts that could be parts of the current CCBS. Earlier this week, I finally decided to order them. And they arrived today. So, ladies and gentlemen, I'm proud to show you the first Hero Factory custom parts ! First of all, here's a render of my parts altogether : And here are the parts I received this morning : I ordered them on Shapeways, I chose Frosted Ultra Detail. And the final result is very clean, it almost looks like real Lego parts ! Unfortunately, this material is very fragile, so I won't use them in MOCs, at the moment they are only prototypes, but I hope I will be able to produce those parts in wider quantities within the next twelve months. Here's a "comparison" with the official "equivalent" parts from Lego : And here's an example of what can be done with such parts : I could build more, but sincerely, I'm afraid to break my parts if I stress them too much. But anyways, this first try is quite concluding, and I hope I will very soon be able to make more of these. If you want to see more pictures, check the Brickshelf gallery (not public yet). P.S. : Plus, they smell good. I'm not good at recognizing odors, but I would say it smells like teen spirit almond.
  14. My new Lego Gundam MOC, base on a Gundam in season 2 of the series "Mobile suit Gundam 00", piloted by main character. This mobile suit later will attach with the mobile armor 0-Raiser to become 00 Raiser which is very powerful. Name: 00 Gundam Code: GN-0000 Upgrade form: 00 Raiser Pilot: Setsuna F Seiei Power source: 2 GN-Drive (Twin-drive). Series: Mobile suit Gundam 00 Weapon: 2 GN-sword, 2 beam saber. Compare to my previous MOC from "Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans" which i wanted to simple and easy to build the inner frame. This time, i purposely want the frame have more articulation and the out side armor become more accurate to the real design. ***For all articulation and detail, please check the video : No weapon view: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr The twin-drive can be rotated to the front: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr Two GN-sword can be attach on both sides: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr Holding GN-sword: LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr LEGO 00 Gundam GN-0000 by demon demon demon, trên Flickr Two GN-sword can transform to gun mode. [MOC] XTS-620

Receiving transmission: "Commandant. We have recovered the secret data from the archive. The data was highly encrypted but after our best hacker decrypted it, we found out that it had highly sophisticated mech frame plans. We carried out the XTS-620 experimental mech frame to the test range and it pretty much passed all the test in record timing. This is one of the most destructive mech we have ever built. We call it "Twins". This "Twins" mech is piloted by two pilots working in perfect harmony with eachother. The left side is mounted with a highly destructive gauss ion cannon. It has enough power to pierce our experimental "Cocoon" armor. The weapon is still not fully tested so do not go over 70% power or you risk destroying the arm completely. On the left side, we have a high pressurized pyromite launcher that has 3 times the range of our standard pyromite launchers. Also for melee combat, the left arm is mounted with a large plasmite claw. There is enough power to crush a class 5 titan head like an egg. The legs are equipped with experimental dampening systems that allow the mech to jump down without any damage to the actuators. This mech requires highly trained pilots that can sync up in perfect harmony. We have sent you this experimental mech for a field test on real action. Be cautious." -Mech build lab

    [MOC] XT-G20

Receiving transmission: "Commandant. We have a solution to the invasion from the coast side. We would like you to try our latest weapon: the XT-G20. This combat walker is equipped with heavy lasers that will destroy the flying enemies with pinpoint accuracy. The lasers need a short time to ramp up but after charged, they can shoot down fliers from long distances. To keep swarming enemies on their toes, we added 8 long range missile pods to the shoulders that have flak tips. If however an enemy or two gets to land, we gave the XT-G20 arms that can punch or grasp into things. The XT-G20 is a heavy class mech with medium armor and it's only weakness is attacks from behind. It's however exceptional at long range anti air combat. Use your radar and locate the enemy fliers before they get too close. We have sent you 5 XT-G20's to help you in your next mission." -Mech build lab "Alright, let's see what this mech is made of. There is a large swarm headed our way." -Commandant

    [MOC] SW-K10 "Sasquatch"

Receiving transmission: "Commandant. We have designed a new weapon for your command. May we introduce to you, the SW-K10. We nicknamed him.. "The Sasquatch". This combat walker is equipped with corrosive pyromite flamethrowers that will melt the armor from the outside and cook everything in the inside. This pyromite chemical will stick to any surface and continue to burn up to 5 hours on it's own. For ranged combat, we added some explosive tip medium range missiles to help you get closer to the enemies. We do not recommend to get up close and personal but as a last case scenario, we added some plasmite claws that heat up and help you claw trough heavier armor like it's paper. The SW-K10 is a medium class mech with high armor so it's only weakness is the slow movement speed. But the armor should make you durable enough to withstand long ranged weaponry for a short duration. Use terrain as your advantage and get to medium or short range to wreak havoc to the enemies. 23. Well, I'm not sure if we have one of these already, but if it does exist, then it's so old that using it would be necroposting. So, what are everybody's favourite and least-favourite masks? In Bionicle, Hero Factory, and anything else? For me, I might as well divide it up a bit. Bionicle Best: The Ignika Worst: Basically any Glatorian helmet that exposed most of the figure's face. Let's be honest, the Glatorian heads weren't great as faces, being all-trans and looking a lot like a certain Marvel Hero, weren't something you wanted to keep on-show. Hero Factory Best: Any of the 1.0/Breakout helmets. They all looked functional, they had their own identity, and they fit their characters. Worst: Brain Attack Bulk. I mean seriously.
  24. While Hero Factory was short lived and didn't always have the most... infallible design standards, there were quite a few sets that stood out in the roster as being exceptionally appealing. Sets like Witch Doctor and Evo XL receive universal praise, but there are other sets which still look the business. So, to you, which set/s is/are underrated, and deserve/s more love?
