Ahoy! I'm sharing with you today (In the Historic forums, which is really out of character for me!) a Middle Earth contest creation that I built for the Middle Earth Lego Olympics (2014-2015) on Mocpages. For Round 1, we were asked to build a creation inspired by one song from LotR/Hobbit, and I chose to build my rather abstract creation based on which you should please listen to while you are viewing this creation. The build depicts Gollum having acquired the One Ring by strangling his cousin for it, and then being enveloped in the darkness that lives inside the ring. Build Time: 2.5 Hours Enjoy! ~Nemo

Here's probably my only entry for Category A: The Missing Set. I chose to do Mount Doom. I'm not really sure why LEGO never did this scene, seeing how it is the most important of the movie. This comes three play features, all coinciding with the movie, as are the minifigure's outfits: Sam's dirty, and without all the equipment printed on his actual, LEGO-made torso, and Frodo's dirty and torn. Setname: 79022 Mount Doom Parts: 201 Minifigures: 3 Price: $24.99 The play features, like a handle for Frodo to hold onto. A lever, that if you pull... ...this will happen. And finally, a launcher that fires, well... fire. ;)

Players only, please! Margret Pines (Capt. Redblade) enjoys a nice soak in the kiddie pool. "Ah, I'm so much sexier than my dead sister." She sighs, clearly relaxed. Suddenly a man in a diving suit comes up. Only Margret can see his face, but it's rather obvious that it's the Gangster. "Frederick, is that you?!" Margret says, awestruck at how they fit in the kiddie pool. "Nope, just the Gangster" the diver replies. Margret doesn't even have time to scream. And she is harpoon'd, revealing her true identity as that of the Surfer. Juliet Williamson (CallMePie), was having a rather hard time sleeping, so she put on another wig, and ran downstairs to go get a drink. Little did she know that the Heroic Knight was behind her. "Santa?" Juliet whispers as she turns around to see the hunk of a man in front of her. "Nope. Die, vicious monster scum!" The knight says as he slices Juliet's head off... ...Revealing her true identity to be the Flamenco Dancer. Everybody is whispering to each other, discussing the events of the previous days. Balthasar Jameson has even changed into a Chicken outfit for today's story, and Eric has, once again, changed wigs. Fluffy and Mercutio are once again, wearing matching outfits. Fluffy has dragged up the body of the Alien Avenger. "Ahem. Attention everyone! As you'll notice, Margret and Juliet are not here. They were both Council. Abraham here, was also Council. What the hell was going through your heads, people?! Lynching based off of Minifigures?! Really?!" The Alien Avenger wakes up, and starts walking downstairs. "What the hell, you idiots?! You'd think I'd be able to have one decent vacation, but no. I'm always the one who gets lynched. I came here to have a fun, family occasion with the wife and kids, but that apparently was not an option here. God, I'm so sick of this." Oh, right. Here's the real body." Mercutio blushes as he pulls an Evil Knight from his cape. "Abrham was obviously a Monster. Great work!" Each player will be given an alignment to play as. Each player will be aligned with either The Council or The Monsters.No Third-Party alignments will be in this game. At all. To win, the Council must eliminate all of the Villains, and the Villains must outnumber the Council. 2. Each day you may vote to lynch a player. The player who receives votes from a majorityof the remaining players will be lynched. Voting must be done in the following format.Vote: Character Name (Player). No other format will be accepted. Unvoting may be done similarly, under the same format and criteria as voting. 3. A day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote for the first 24 hours of the Day thread. After 72 hours, it is now night. When the 72 hours of the day are over, please send your night action, if any, to Hinckley and I using the Role PM we sent you. The night phase will last a maximum of 48 hours. 4. The alignment of the player lynched, and any that died during the night, will be revealed at the start of the next day. 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the game host via PM.This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Role Claiming should be done at your own risk. It's Superhero day at the hotel. Please make sure you make a superhero name for yourself and post as if you are acting to be a superhero. Voting does not have to use superhero names, however. Failure to comply will result in a One-Vote penalty. 12. Violation of ANY of the above rules will result in a vote penalty (1 vote for every 4 players left) on the first offense, and removal from the game on the second offense. -
