  1. Hello, we are selling our entire collection. You can view many of the completed MOCs here: Godwins Hollow of Outer Godwinia or just poke around some of my posts. This will give you a rough idea of the scope of the collection. There are hundreds of thousands of sorted (by color and type) bricks, containers of sorted minifigs, every Collectible Minifig set to date, fig parts, base plates, train tracks, many completed sets (mostly Star Wars), MOCs, and MOCs, and MOCs, and an entire room of storage containers. The whole collection has been shipped back to Columbus, GA, and is in storage taking up a good chunk (60-70%) of a 20x20 storage unit. I'm hoping to sell the entire collection as a lot as I would have to rely on my aging mother to separate, show, and ship individual pieces. I had hoped to be able to move the collection back to Dubai, but between shipping costs and the cost of a dedicated display/work area, it's no longer feasible. I'm open to individuals, groups, LUGs, resellers, retailers - whoever, and all reasonable offers will be discussed. If you have any interest or questions feel free to reach out by email to lego@stewartgodwin.com or if you use WhatsApp you can add me at +971585363060.

    MOC - Godwins Hollow Overview

Well, it had been over a year since we'd taken stock of Godwins Hollow as a whole. So, we went to town, took some pics, and thought we'd share. If you're interested there are more pics on our Flickr page. Hope you enjoy. 170901 Godwins Hollow Overview by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr
  3. While waiting for more building materials for Inferno HQ we decided that it was time the Agents of Godwins Hollow upgraded their vehicles. The first two are some basic MODs/repaints to vehicles from existing sets but the third is a MOC dropship allowing the Agents to get significant numbers of personnel into the fray quickly. 4. We had been posting updates to our Inferno HQ separately and it was suggested that they might be easier to follow in a single thread. We agreed, so we're making this new post to consolidate everything into a single location. Each post/update will be started with its own heading showing the date. We've just cut and pasted the existing posts into this thread and eliminated the repetitive links to our pages on Flickr & MOC-Pages. Please click away if you'd like to see more of any particular update but as this continues to grow we'll leave those out as they're right here at the top if you need them. As always, we certainly appreciate you checking in on our progress and invite any comments and thoughts you may have. Enjoy! FIRST POST - 7 APR 2016 Godwins Hollow (our LEGO City) was originally started strictly as background for the ongoing struggle between the Agents and Inferno's henchmen. Over the many years that we've been working on our city we always pushed the actual Agent's HQ and Inferno HQ aside in favor of further fleshing out the city itself. However, after years of fiddling with it in LDD and a handful of proofs of concepts we have finally started building the Inferno HQ. We've started with the lowest level and hope to eventually have fully developed floors underneath the mountain and a partially transformable castle/attack post on top of the mountain. This is still in the VERY early stages but there are places to park the mechs and the hover jeeps. The interior of this hangar bay will be a mix of interior rock facing and more standard 'hangar bay' walls. Anyways, just wanted to throw this out here. UPDATE 1 - 25 APR 2016 These images never made it into a post but adding in these updates show a bit more complete picture of the project's progress. 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr UPDATE 2 - 3 SEP 2016 These images never made it into a post but adding in these updates show a bit more complete picture of the project's progress. 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr UPDATE 3 - 19 SEP 2016 These images never made it into a post but adding in these updates show a bit more complete picture of the project's progress. 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr UPDATE 4 - 22 OCT 2016 These images never made it into a post but adding in these updates show a bit more complete picture of the project's progress. 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ161024 - WIP - Inferno HQ by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr UPDATE 5 - 15 MAY 2017 So this has been a REALLY long-term project of ours but we're finally making some progress. Godwins Hollow was originally conceived as the place that the LEGO Agents would defend from the menacing henchmen of INFERNO! All respectable evil-doers need a secret lair and this is the start of theirs! Once it's completed we're hoping to have two full levels underneath the mountain, trap doors revealing weapon systems, launch bays, and all of the other despicable stuff an Inferno HQ should have. Once you scroll thru the pics below you'll be able to see we've made some significant progress on the base level both inside and out. The main hover jeep garage, mountain exit, and repair bay are all in place. There is a personnel elevator to take you to the command center and eventually on to the next underground level, and two mech bays for the Inferno mechs. So please take a look at what we've done so far and feel free to leave any feedback you'd like. Enjoy! UPDATE 6 - 21 MAY 2017 Our Inferno HQ is still moving along. The ground level to the mountain base is almost finished and we've moved on to one of the key areas of the second level - the hoverjet launch pad. The face of the mountain will open up to allow the launch pad to extend outside of the main bay area so the hoverjets can launch and be retrieved. There is a small control deck immediately adjacent to the launch pad and the hover jets themselves are stored vertically on automated transport drones. UPDATE 7 - 26 MAY 2017 Today's update is a little proof of concept for the transforming towers that will make up the castle ruin on top of Inferno HQ's mountain. This is our first castle build of any kind and while we are pleased with the result it may be fiddled with before the castle is finalized. As you can see the tower conceals the Inferno cannon which could easily hold Godwins Hollow ransom if the Agents don't keep things in check. Again, thanks for taking a look and your thoughts and comments are welcome. 170526 - WIP - Inferno HQ, Castle Tower by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 170526 - WIP - Inferno HQ, Castle Tower by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr 170526 - WIP - Inferno HQ, Castle Tower by Stewart & Sydney, on Flickr
  5. On the eastern end of the Main Street Shopping Center construction crews are hard at work adding in the final retails spaces. Personally, I'm hoping for a Taco Tuesday but the developers are keeping everything pretty tight lipped as to what will end up at the end of the street. Astute observers of our little city will notice the Brick Bank that has popped up in the shopping center to give First National a little bit of competition. Anyways, enjoy our little construction site and your thoughts/comments are always welcome. 9. After years of delays and due in large part to the renewed groundswell of public support the Godwin Space Center is finally fully operational and prepping for its first launch of our orbiter - Adventure! Thanks to the adventurous spirit of the people of Godwins Hollow the Godwin Space Center is finally up and running. Despite numerous setbacks along the way, the finished product is a marvel of modern space-faring technology. Situated on the north side of town adjacent to the soon to be completed Godwins Hollow Regional Airport the GSC boasts a state of the art mission control center, maintenance facilities, laboratories, a hangar to house the orbiter when it's not out and about, and more than enough additional features to keep even the most jaded space traveler interested! As we close in on the GSC you can very clearly see that the orbiter Adventure is on the pad. The superstructure has been raised and the good folks of the Godwins Hollow Space Administration are busy prepping for launch! The newly minted 'tallest structure in Godwins Hollow' is the orbiter's hangar. Not simply a box to pack the bird away when she's not out taking a quick spin around the block the hangar is packed to the brim with diagnostic and monitoring equipment to make sure the city's investment is always fully mission-capable. Moving into the GSP proper we start on the ground floor with the maintenance bay. Fitted with barn doors practically anything short of the orbiter itself can fit in here. The bay is considered by most to be one of the most technologically advanced facilities of its type. Fitted with robotic assist features, diagnostic tools, and customizable display systems this maintenance bay might make Tony Stark look twice. Upstairs a small but very well stocked warehouse is available to the technicians at any time. Moving up to the second floor we enter the Mechanical Engineering room. Mission Control might be the brains of the GSC but this is where the real work happens. The technicians here make sure that all of the orbiter's systems are fully prepped and ready to go. Fluids are monitored, pressures gauged, and all of the other 'dirty' work necessary to get this bird into orbit are taken care of here. While the technicians are busy moving about the orbiter everything that is happening on that superstructure is being monitored and controlled from this room. Again, fitted with amazing display technologies, sensitive monitoring and calibration tools, and one of the coolest sliding/spinning seat systems in town this is a great place to work. The 2nd and 3rd floors from above Every entity needs them and even the GSC has a small space for all for the admin offices. Also on the third floor is a small laboratory. It looks like two of Godwins Hollow's best and brightest are busy discussing the theoretical impacts of their latest project while an engineer has jumped right in and is making things happen! This is far and away everyone's favorite place to be at the GSC - the astronaut prep room. For those brave souls about to strap themselves into a massive controlled explosion in order to slip the surly bonds of earth, this is the last place they'll see before entering the orbiter. A swarm of technicians assists the astronauts in getting into the somewhat bulky gear and an industrial HVAC unit helps keep everyone cool and the entire room dust free. And before anyone asks - no those are not disembodied hands - they're gloves. After suiting up the astronauts can access the orbiter directly from the prep room. Finally, all the way to the top you'll find Mission Control. Every possible statistic for every possible variable is monitored, collected, and analyzed here. Hang out here long enough and you start to imagine you can predict the future! All systems are go for launch! As usual - more pics can be found on our Flickr page.
  10. This is our mod of the Palace Cinema. Before the PC was released we had The Main Street Cinema but were so taken with the facade of the Palace that we decided to try and make our interior fit the new exterior. Our old theater wasn't a corner building so that took a little working out but in the end we only expanded the given Palace structure a few studs to make everything fit. We were very pleased with how well we were able to meld the two buildings. Hope you enjoy. You can see more of the theater here and here. Thanks.
  11. In order to make room for the future home of the Godwins Hollow Regional Airport we had to get most of our planes in the air. Since tossing them back and forth didn't turn put to be a long term solution we decided it was better to try and hang them up. We still have a three man flight of the Agents' jets to hang but everything else that is going up is in the air. Pics are below or you check them all out here.
  12. So its been about a year since the last time we took stock of Godwins Hollow's growth and all in all it's been a pretty good year. We've renovated several areas - the Red Brick Pizza Oven, the costume shop, courier, and sporting goods store. We've added a travel agency and post office. Lockridge Estates and Lockridge Farms both got a makeover and we're sure there's a few other things here and there. Anyways, this is where are little city stands today. For all of the pics please feel free to stop by our Flickr page.

MOC - Godwins Hollow City Hall

This is another of the main buildings in our city - Godwins Hollow. We really liked the official city hall but needed something bigger so we expanded it. The inside of the building has lots of details - a DMV, jury deliberation room, court room, judge's office, mayor's office, city council room, and press briefing room. Hope you enjoy. You can see more of the building here and here and the park around the building here and here.
  14. The Laundry Mat is the second business on the same plot as the The Red Brick Pizza Oven. After the move we decided to remove Bill's Bike Repair Shop and insert in a new business that wasn't previously represented in the city - and Sydney thought we needed a laundromat. So here it is, hope you enjoy it... As usual there are more pics here and here.
  15. The Red Brick Pizza Oven was the first modular MOC that we built for our city. It was originally an amalgamation of three City Corner (7641) sets. Following the City Corner template there was a pizzeria and a bike repair shop on the same plot. At the time parts were scarce so the interiors were a bit sparse - even lacking tiled floors. So, after the move we had a great opportunity to give the old girl a bit of a face lift. The new building has a laundromat (to be posted shortly) instead of the bike repair shop and some minor upgrades to the internal facilities. Hope you enjoy. The old exterior... A quick look at the old interiors... And now on to the new shots! As always there are tons more pictures here and here.
  16. We just posted up the farm house and thought that it is best seen in it's natural setting. We've still got to complete a proper barn and silo and will put in some proper fields soon too. Short of those items most of the farm is in place. Enjoy. If you'd like to see more feel free to click here or here.
  17. The Lego Farm set (7637) was literally the first 'official' set my daughter and I started with. What started as a fun little set in the middle of the dinning room table has grown into what is Godwins Hollow today - in just a few years - so Lockridge Farms quite literally is the cornerstone of our city. This is the farm house in the center of the farm. As always, if you'd like to see more feel free to click here or here.
  18. This is the last interior redesign of the Main Strip Strip Mall collection. Our veterinary clinic has a small waiting area where you pick up pet supplies, the clinic area, and a small boarding area connected to a small outdoor dog run. Hope you enjoy. A quick shot of the old interior by the Brick City Depot folks. Our new interiors... As usual if you'd like to see more click here and here.
  19. This is our take on a little town travel agency. When pulling together our ideas for the place we ran across some really awesome 'vintage' travel posters for fictional locations so we decided to do a two sided travel agency - downstairs you can book traditional travel and vacations and upstairs we can book you into almost any fantasy vacation imaginable. From Hogwarts and Middle Earth to Arakis and Pandora to the worlds of Star Wars, Serenity, and Star Trek. We tried to make some displays for the window and feel we got the gist of it right but may try to fine tune them a bit in the future - downstairs we have a tropical island/cruise thing going on and upstairs there's a rocket to a ringed planet. Anyways, hope you enjoy. As always, if you'd like to see more feel free to click here or here.
  20. During the move we've had a lot of opportunity to move things around, think about additions to the city, and of course update older buildings. Years ago we asked the great folks over at Brick City Depot to put together a strip mall for our layout. Originally located opposite our row of modulars the strip mall has floated around the layout a few different times. Most recently we broke it up a bit and the five original buildings (and one new one soon to be posted) are now flanking the soon to be built Main Street Plaza Hotel. The flagship store of the mall used to be a clothing store. Having several others in the city we decided to rebrand and repurpose the store into a photo studio and SAS Photo Studios was born. Below are a few photos of the build - hope you enjoy. As usual, you can see more here and here.
  21. After highlighting several of the buildings in the strip mall we thought we should post up a few shots of the whole strip mall together. The mall is situated around what will be the Main Street Plaza Hotel and since the hotel is obviously not done the mall as a whole has a few more pieces that need to be put into place but only after the hotel is up. Just making excuses for the unfinished nature of the layout area. For more feel free to check out our Flickr feed.
  22. The End Zone is the second (of four) building that is part of the Main Street Strip Mall that's getting an interior update. Unlike the SAS Photo Studio which was re-purposed the End Zone was simply re-branded and the interior beefed up a bit. Hope you enjoy. The exterior of the shop is the work of the fine folks over at Brick City Depot. The shop's old interior... The shop's new interior... The display in the front window... The store clerk and a happy customer... As always for more you can click here and here.
  23. Fancy That is actually a new addition to the Main Street Strip Mall. After the move we had a hole in the lineup around the new hotel's location and the costume shop plugged that hole right up. The exterior is meant to blend in seamlessly with the rest of the strip mall as designed by Brick City Depot and we went with yellow to keep the whole - every building looks the same but has a different color - theme. The interior of the shop is fairly simple and is being used primarily to display some of the collectible minifigs but we think it does the trick for the type of shop that it's supposed to be.By keeping it as simple as it is we've been able to really squeeze in as many 'costumes' as possible. Hope you enjoy. If you'd like to see more please click here or here.
  24. After the move the Flat Rate Courier Shop has been rebranded into DupliBrix Copy & Courier. The building is on the northeast corner of the Main Street Strip Mall so we knocked out a wall and added in some windows while also significantly beefing up the interior. As with the rest of the strip mall buildings the exterior is the design work of the folks at Brick City Depot. The art work is all original but was certainly inspired by the work of BrickBuildersPro. Hope you enjoy. Here's the whole shop from the top down... This is the old interior from Brick City Depot... If you'd like to see more feel free to stop by here and here.
  25. Since my LEGOing partner is also my 11yo daughter when the Friends line hit a few years back it was immediately decided that we'd have to work the theme into our city and the Bubble Gum Beauty Salon was born. Hope you enjoy. You can see more here and here. Thanks for checking it out.
