    [MOD] 75333 DELTA-7 AETHERSPRITE

things changed: -lowered cockpit down roughly 1 brick, changed build around cockpit region to slope into wings, taper into body, round out the rear to more accurately reflect the shape of the model in canon -filled in gaps with 1 tile width across whole body; requires some gaps in wing construction -replaced guns for accuracy; subject to further change to reduce conspicuousness -cut up stickers to apply across model -cut cockpit -nexo tile at front to hammer in the point :) working on instructions if anyone's interested. if ur curious on scale it works like this

    [MOC] Geonosian Starfighter

Hi everyone, I have been busy working on a mechanism for the Droid Factory for Geonosis. That is still ongoing and last weekend I was working on something else. I have build two Geonosian Starfighters. There is another picture in the Flickr album. Feedback is appreciated. Sander

[R16 -Geonosis -TT] Shadows of the past

*Your entry has earned 3xp* https://www.instagram.com/p/CLj-xc1JnP8/ The first battle of Geonosis. The beginning of the Clone War. I remember it so clearly, how it felt to be free of Kamino, but vulnerable to the outside world. I had been specially trained as a clone commando, but I worked alone. It was better that way. No-one to lose...

    [MOC] AT-TE

Hi everyone, I build in many themes and this year I want to build a landscape based on the battle on Geonosis from Episode II. This is the first time I have build a Star Wars vehicle. I used a lot pictures for this build. I have some pictures of the front and the back. For some more pictures, look into my Flickr album. Feedback is appreciated. Sander
  6. Hey guys, with the return of the clone wars I've decided to build this moc based on one of my favorite episodes of the series S2epi5. I built one moc of the AT-TE to take the especial place on the moc. 7. Hi, today I'm going to introduce a very massive MOC of diorama from Mr. Ng Wen Yeh aka Toycrazy from LUG of Malaysia (LOM). Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones was a movie dated back in 2002 as the second movie of Star Wars prequel trilogy. In this massive battle between a group of Jedi and the battle droids of Count Dooku, he managed to put in all the details into this MOC. Lets have a look. Count Dooku: 'You are outnumbered my fellow Jedi's.' The droids are surrounding them! More coming out from the pit under the massive stadium wall! Young Anakin and Padme fighting off the droids. They have escaped from the pillars chain and he had his light saber at hand! More droids! The pit is magnificently designed with brown slopes and pillars. You can see Plo Koon fighting the Geonosian fighters at the stadium wall. Ki-Adi-Mundi in action. Oh no Barriss Offee is surrounded! Help her! Lets look at Count Dooku and his viceroys at the tower watching the battle. The dark tan curves are nicely placed! Bye bye Jango Fett. You are no match of Mace Windu's light saber. Obi Wan and R2d2 pulling C3po to safety. Eeth Koth. So many Jedi in this action! Luminara Unduli with her green light saber. Here you can see Kit Fisto, Aayla Secura and Even Piell fighting. The captive pillars. The overview of the stadium wall. This MOC captures the scene very well and the stadium is very nicely designed. Do leave a comment. Thank you very much! https://web.facebook.com/groups/legomalaysia/
  8. This is my entry to the Brickset 2016 Star Wars competition where you had to design a set based on a specific scene that hasn't been represented yet. Anakin, Padme, R2-D2 and C-3PO have infiltrated the Separatist droid foundry on Geonosis and are ambushed by the Geonosians! Pull the pins to shut the door and drop the heroes onto the conveyor belt. Turn the wheel to move the conveyor belts and help them escape through the assembly line! Watch out for swinging robot arms, stomping presses, and chopping blades! Use the swiveling robot arm to assemble the droids. C-3PO has lost his head! Attach R2-D2's rocket boosters and turn the knob on the tower to have him fly to the rescue! Rearrange the assembly modules to create your own foundry layout. Includes Anakin Skywalker, Padme, R2-D2, C-3PO, one Geonosian with stud shooter, and 4 battle droids. LEGO Geonosian Arena MOC

This is my rendition of the Geonosian Arena from STAR WARS Attack Of The Clones. This has always been one of LEGO's most glaring omissions from the Star Wars line, hence why I decided to test out this MOC. OK, it's not excessively massive or complicated, but I just think it makes a neat little playset. Comment your opinions. Also don't forget to check out my LEGO IDEAS page for more information on this, and please support! :) from there you can read all about the design plan, the history, and also see any other photos of the MOC. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/158217
  11. Hi guys, Just recently completed my first Star Wars oriented MOC, the Republic Laat/c with ATTE. I started this build about 3 years ago and it was going to be just the ship itself before I took up the walker project about a month ago. This is probably my largest MOC to date, and it's by far the heaviest. The hardest part was allowing the walker to connect and detach from the ship easily without the walker's weight putting too much strain on the bricks. Republic Dropship and AT-TE by James Asbury, on Flickr Let me know what you think! You can find all of my creations and more photos of the build at flickr.com/photos/jasbury
  12. Hey guys! I've been rewatching all the Star Wars movies the last couple weeks in anticipation for The Force Awakens. Now I'm in the mood to make sets LEGO never did! So I started off with the Droid Factory from Episode II: Attack of the Clones! The minifigures I included are Anakin, Padmé, RD-D2, two Geonosians, a Droideka, and two battle droids (one with C3-PO's head.) As usual with my MOCs, I try to make them look like real LEGO sets. So there's tons of play features, like turning the knobs on the sides of the conveyor belts, knocking Padmé into the giant fire pot thing the little platform at the entrance can be pulled back, etc. I actually made a droid factory set in 2013 but didn't like it so I remade it last night. I think it's heaps better than the old one, what about you? Thanks for looking! Feel free to tell me what you think I should make next! I'm thinking the Battle on Geonosis. We'll see!
  13. Welcome to my: "Star Wars: Geonosis Arena Execution" Creation! This is a Geonosis Arena LDD Moc which I have rendered and submitted to the LEGO Ideas site. If it reaches 10,000 supporters it will be reviewed by LEGO and can become a official Set! If you have Facebook you can use it to have signup quickly and support the project. Otherwise you can register manually. You can support and take a look at the project here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/116419 If you wan't to further help the project you could share it on other appropriate sites and spread the word. I've been working on making the Geonosis Arena for years probably from 2002/2003 to the present day and I think I've nearlly hit my limit on the development of my designs for both the creatures and the structure of the arena, (more of the arena was in my previous projects) . This time around I've made custom designs for a new version of Padme, Obi-Wan and Anankin as seen in the Republic Gunship,(75021) set which adds a lot more to a potential Geonosis Arena set. I've also continued to update the four pillars making them more robust and movie accurate. Did I mention, they can fall over just like in the film when the Acklay charges against one smashing it and when one is hit from a Geonosian sonic cannon. Don't forget if your watching please leave a support. This would mean the world to me if it got to the LEGO Review and I think it has a good chance to be made since it was never officially released as a set before and it's not something massively huge so there is a good chance LEGO could consider it. May the force be with you. -Thunderous Blade

    [Review] 75089 Geonosis Troopers

Hello again everyone! Continuing to review the sets I bought during the May the Fourth sale. This is my last review of the 2015 winter wave as I don't have the other sets that still need a review and I don't plan buying them. They are: 75081 T-16 Skyhopper 75084: Wookiee Gunship 75086: Battle Droid Troop Carrier 75087: Anakin's Custom Jedi Starfighter 75090: Ezra's Speeder Bike If anyone could review these. Thanks! So now on to the review This is my third review : 75089 Geonosis Troopers Name: Geonosis Troopers Theme: Star Wars / Expended universe / The Clone Wars Year: 2015 Pieces: 105 Minifigures: 4 Price: USA 12.99$, ENG 11.99£, CAN 15.99$, EUR 16.99€ Ressources: Brickset Lego store description The front of the box with the new 2015 art: A stormtrooper helmet tagged with a rebel alliance crest. Your standard box art for 2015. On the back of the box, we see the play features and the number os stud shooter and the number of spare studs. Also shown is the clone troopers and the walker's features. In the box, the pieces come in 2 bags and with the instruction booklet. The instruction booklet with the same image as the box on the cover. The back with the win minifigure. Spare parts: mainly spare studs. It's a battlepack! The completed model. The walker with the new stud "gatlin" gun ready to fire! Side view 1 Side view 2 Top view Back view With the legs posed like it's recommended in the manual The walker as 3 features: movable legs, the "gatlin gun" and the opening cockpit. Here is the cockpit opened and closed. Closed The walker is unstable if both legs aren't placed the same way And now what you were all waiting for: The Minifigures! We get 4 of them; 2 Geonosis airborne troopers and 2 Geonosis troopers. The battlepacks comes with 2 different heads: the standard clone trooper face and another one with a different facial expression. The Geonosis trooper compared to the to the Kashyyyk trooper and Utapau trooper. We can see that the camo pattern is different then the Kashyyyk trooper. It has the same back printing as the one from the Utapau BP. Back view The airborne trooper compared to the Utapau BP one. Back view Rating ------ These three points are not included in final score. Price: 6/10 – 105 pieces for 12.99$ is above the 10 cents per piece ration. Also like other battlepacks with the gatlin gun, 20 of those piece are studs for the guns and the canon. Still we get 4 amazing minifigures and a small vehicule. Parts: 7.5/10 – Many of the pieces are studs but we get a nice assortement of pieces in geonosian tan that could be usefull for any desert moc. You love or you don't the new gatlin gun. Build 7/10 – The build takes around 10 minutes. No special technic are involved in the build. Battlepacks are about minifigures and not the building experience, so no surprise here ------ Design 5/10 – This walker is not based on any source material but we have seen enough walkers that we know how it should look or not look like. From the front and from the side the model does look good but looks bad from behind because of a complete lack of detail. There is only so much you can do with 50-60 pieces. You can fit 2 minifigures and their guns on the walker. The legs are movable, the cockpit can be opened and closed and the gatlin gun does shoot fast and far. Still it's a little hard to place the legs in display mode. (refer to image legs posed like it's recommended in the manual) If both legs aren't place the same way, the walker will be very unstable or it will fall. Besides, the walker can't stand on 1 leg and thus it limits the different poses it can take. It's an average build. Nothing amazing. Still it might bring some memories to some of the first walker of the very first battlepack released: the clone walkers BP. Minifigures: 10/10 – The minifigures are outstanding. The camo printing on both troopers is very detailled and beautifull. Printed legs, and backprint on all 4 minifigures. The airborne trooper helmet is also very well made and looks just like the source material. Troopers from a new clone legion is always welcome for MOCs and dioramas. Also we get 2 different faces wich is good for an all clone battlepack. Playability: 6/10 – Not much play features except for the gatlin canon and the opening cockpit. It's hard to set the legs in display mode and both legs must be placed the same way if not the model will be unstable or it won't even stand. The movable legs can't really considered a play feature in this case. Still the shooter is fun to use and so are the minifigure's guns. This is a one faction battlepacks. It's meant to be played with other sets so you can have targets to shoot at! OVERALL 7/10 – A good battlepack. The minifigure are definitively the highlight of the set as you would expect. Adding a new clone legion to your collection is always nice even tho some would have prefered a more "famous" legion like the Galactic Marines or the 501th. Seeing another variant of the airborne trooper is also very nice because the mold for the helmet is amazing. The vehicule included could have been better. In the end this is an above average battlepack with outsanding minifigures that carry a rather average walker. Thoughts and critiques welcomes! Also if there is any grammar mistake burning your eyes, please PM me and I will edit. Thanks for reading!
