  1. This is a MOC I created first in LDD, then in real life (thanks BrickLink!), featuring four attractions at a Renaissance Faire/Festival. I wasn't sure whether to post it in this forum or City (since technically it would take place in modern times), but figured its elements would appeal more to Historic fans. You can find many more pictures on my Flickr page. Also, I have submitted this as a project on Lego Ideas, so if you feel so inclined, I'd love your support: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/131376 C&C are always welcome and appreciated! Thanks, Lindulan Overview of the whole group: 1 - Renaissance Faire by Lindulan Halcyon, on Flickr The concession stand, with half-yards of lemonade and smoked turkey legs: 2 - Concession stand by Lindulan Halcyon, on Flickr The stage, where a minstrel plays his lute: 4 - Stage by Lindulan Halcyon, on Flickr Shooting gallery with stud-shooting crossbow: 5 - Shooting gallery by Lindulan Halcyon, on Flickr Souvenir tent with removable roof and lift-up side flaps: 7 - Souvenir tent & roof by Lindulan Halcyon, on Flickr
  2. Hi all. I’m hoping to find out about any groups or events in the UK that are particularly interested in Technic Mocs, mods etc. Or at least include some in their collection. I see lots of videos and photos of gatherings on YouTube or Flickr in the US and Europe. I am aware of adult Lego groups in the uk however they are not really interested in Technic. I know that the Technic side of the community will always be smaller and I think that by nature we are more solitary creatures. I do wander why it is so hard to find this kind of thing over here though, I know there are many talented builders In this country. Are we just a miserable lot? Do I really have to get on an airplane and cross the channel to see some of these custom creations in the flesh? Many thanks Troy
  3. In your mind, you're already there. You can hear the boisterous music and see the juggling clowns. The kids are begging for popcorn and cotton candy. Dad gets stuck buying the tickets and carrying the “IT’S SO FLUFFY I’M GONNA DIE” stuffed animal. Mom’s running another kid to the bathroom on the other side of the park while everyone else waves from the top of the Ferris wheel. The water ride claims your cell phone and next to you a kid loses his lunch on the “Vortex of Terror.” By the end of the day, everyone’s tired and sure your wallet is considerably lighter but overall, it was a good day. When can we do this again!? There are more pictures and angles in this video:

    Some Small Fair Scenes

Well over the weekend I was busy trying out some new skills and styles and decided to try some fair scenes. These models include a roller coaster station and one of those rides like the "Scooby Doo" or "Arabian Nights" rides. They were very short lived really just long enough to take the pictures. Well now that I have introduced the models let "the games begin" the rest here: https://docs.google.com/folderview?id=0B-YcM-Y0QbLSOUhOMlMtcDZRY1E&usp=docslist_api

    MOC: Twisted Victorian

This odd building appeared into Palikkala Town's House fair on one misty Thursday evening. The origins of the house was unclear, but some thought it was from another time and century and somewhat associated with an odd incident of disapperaing house in 1867. An odd fellow with cardigan and trilby hat was seen on the stairs drinking morning tea... This house was build for Finnish LUG Palikkatakomo RY's contest on Model Expo (a big scale model show thing) where we had an exhibit. My house was third (on a ranking shared on two entries) on a visitor voting. Hope you like it! There's more on Cyclopic Bricks and Flickr.
