With almost half a dozen settlements in under a days worth of travel, trade was always busy around Isla de Victoria. While large vessels aren't uncommon, most of the trade consists of small merchants, defended by few armed rowing boats. Fishing boats aren't uncommon either. Some fearless merchants sometimes risk everything - they go back and forth between Fuerte Unido and Trador, a long distance for a vessel that's as tiny as this one! These guys have decided to call their tiny vessel Sally. Others decided to stay closer to shore - they are often spotted fishing in the open waters close to Puerte Desafio. Not even large enough to bear a name, dozens of these can be seen on good days. While Tortuga has been silent recently, it never hurts being sure that is really the case - a couple fast rowing boats stay close to Puerte Desafio, and be it to warn those tiny fishing vessels. This example is known as Paddly - because thats all these guys do all day.

So.. I started trying to assemble some of my older lego sets from my giant box of mixed pieces from various sets i got throughout the years. I knew i had the pieces to the Mobile Defense Tank from Lego Exo-Force. So i looked up the instructions booklet on the interwebs and came across something pretty confusing. First look at the front box image. Now look at the finished version in the instruction booklet from LEGO's official site. Notice something? Yes. The Bar between the tracks is missing from the actual build. The bar can be slightly be seen on the rear tracks also, on the box image, but they are not in the actual build. There's more... Things got even more weird, because it turned out that i have been following two different instruction booklets... On this website: http://lego.brickinstructions.com/lego_instructions/set/7706/Mobile_Defense_Tank I found the instructions in the image below. These instructions show, that the bar between the tracks is put into place. But on the instructions you can download as PDF on top of the page, the bar is not included. The bar is not included in the instructions on LEGO's official site either. Looking through both instructions, there are actually a few more things that is different. The build of the canopy varies also. Even the parts list in different. Now... Can anyone explain what is happening? I have been browsing the interwebs for hours, trying to figure out if there is more than one version of this build but i cannot find any evidence. Did they change the build over time or what is happening? I really hope someone can explain this to me.

As part of my ongoing "Tolswick defense project" I am putting small guard houses up around the town. These cost less and are quicker to build than walls. This build was inspired by SoccerKid. FRONT: I used a tile and 1x1 stud technique on the front. The roof looks weird and flat in this picture, but in real life it looks better, and is made with log bricks. SIDE: I ran out of studs quickly, so soon I only had headlight bricks. That is why the tiles are so flat. INTERIOR: The roof lifts up too see inside. As you can see, I have not yet completed the interior, but all those studs facing in are just begging for a brown tile wooden wall. Thanks for looking and please put some C&C!
