Hey everyone,I'm very proud and excited to show you my take on the Batmobile from "The Batman".Unlike any other Batmobile to date, this latest version of the iconic ride takes us back to its routes of being a modified car while adding its own twists and incorporating design cues iconic to the long history of Batmobiles.I was very curious to see how this would be used in the film after the initial reveal photos, while I was excited to see it in action, it was its start-up sequence and the car chase scene that truly made me fall in love with the car and make me want to build it.This was an amazing build to work on since it's out of my comfort zone, after 6 months of development and various iterations I feel really happy with the results. My focus as usual was accuracy, so everything you'd want this model to have, it has. Not only that but this has to be one of the most sturdy and stable builds I've done.I'm also happy to say that this will fit any Batman figure you have, whether it has the Type 1,2, or 3 cowls. I'll share some more in-depth looks of specific details and behind-the-scenes of the model on my IG so make sure you follow me there. If you're interested in building this check out the Rebrickable page! Would love to see this in your collection: https://reb.li/m/122475 Also here's the Showcase vid:

Here's my take on the Batpod from The Dark Knight trilogy I recently finished my Tumbler and had the urge to build this after watching some reviews of the Hot Toys version. I wasn't going to build it this soon but I made the guns on Stud.io and got really excited so I made the rest. It's heavily inspired by Young Wook Song and Michael on Flickr. I wouldn't say this is 100% minifig scale but it's pretty close and looks really good in most angles in my opinion.Accuracy was a priority as usual, however, that came at the expense of some functionality. As a result, this is mostly a display model You can find the parts list and free video tutorial both at my Rebrickable and YouTube. Here's a link to both Rebrickable: https://reb.li/m/120716 YouTube:

For the past few months I’ve been working on a LEGO modular Daily Planet in my spare time, and I wanted to share it with everyone here. This is also my first "real" post (I only recently joined) so it's highly probable I'm gonna screw this up because, well, I'm an idiot. Please be gentle, and if this is the wrong place I do apologize. I host the images on my own site because I'm given to understand that Eurobricks doesn't host images, so I hope I've done that correctly as well. Anyway, on to the model. It has 4 floors plus an accessible roof, and currently consists of 5,894 LEGO pieces. At the outset I started tracking my time and it also represents about 325 hours of work all done in Bricklink Studio. When I got the idea, I formulated a list of some things I wanted it to have: Large globe on top The “stairstep” look from the comics The lobby globe like was shown in the 1978 movie Face-to-face desks in the “bullpen” for Lois and Clark. Lois’ desk would be a big ol’ mess with a hairbrush, food, and crumpled papers next to the waste basket, while Clark’s desk is neat as a pin. Because we’re big Smallville fans and so many fun moments took place there, the model also features roof access where Lois can go to smoke or take a ride with Big Blue, and includes the roof access structure where Clark (finally) took flight in the finale of Smallville. A copy machine/room Break room Janitor closet for Clark to change in Perry White’s office Desk for Jimmy Office details like water coolers A store room with boxes of papers You can probably see that I've iterated the outside colors, and very significantly changed the uppermost floor to no longer have windows but rather a large clock. The reason was two-fold; first I thought it looked kind of cool that way, and I wanted to motorize the large globe on top to turn (and have a Superman minifigure flying around it. And just for fun, I couldn't resist photoshopping Superman into one of the renders. So there you have it. I make updates to the model fairly frequently and will make updates here if there's interest. Here's a few more images:

Chevrolet Apache 1959 Harley Quinn's Custom tow race truck After I did the Joker's Dodge Challenger, I was looking to build some vehicle for Harley, I didn't want to make an existing one, like the stingray or mercury, also because I already have both buildings in my collection, so I was thinking in 3 models, Ferrari 288 GTO, Shelby Cobra or a 50's Chevy truck, based on my available Lego parts, I choose the Chevy and I didn't regret for one second! I think it fits perfectly Harley Quinn's personality. The most challenging part was to make a perfect balance between black and red, neatly I was thinking of just doing a custom low pickup truck, however, I saw the back was too empty, so I decided to turn it into a Tow truck with some disturbing gimmick 😅 1959's Chevy Apache - Harley Quinn's tow truck by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr 1959's Chevy Apache- Harley Quinn's tow truck by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr 1959's Chevy Apache- Harley Quinn's tow truck by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr 1959's Chevy Apache - Harley Quinn's tow truck by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr 1959's Chevy Apache - Harley Quinn's tow truck / 1970 Joker Dodge Challenger by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr

Hi! I made this Challenger using only leftover parts, from other MOCs I did. Since I don't have the Dodge Challenger set, I made my own. Initially, I didn't know what car I wanted to make, so I look at a Joker Minifig and was taught: "I Have to make that smile!" The rest was building with the flow. I made it in 4 hours using only trial and error, using only the parts I had, no instructions or digital building. Lego Monkie Kid is crossing over with Batman (Kinda)
Killian posted a topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
So.... There's a new DC comic where a teenager takes on the mantle of The Monkey King, becoming The Monkey Prince. The story, set at least partly in Gotham City, features The King Bull Demon, Shifu Pigsy, Nezha, Red Boy, Princess Iron Fan etc.. I'm cautiously hoping it does well and expands on the Monkie Kid lore, hopefully making The Journey To The West more popular in America and Europe etc, so Lego may release the Monkie Kid sets in more places and continue with further seasons of the show so that season 4/the next special isn't necessarily the end of MK's animated adventures. "Introducing the newest hero in the DCU, the great sage, equal to the heavens, better than his predecessor the legendary Monkey King, even better than the Justice League—and definitely the Teen Titans—(actually, all the heroes combined), everyone put your hands together for…the Monkey Prince! Marcus Sun moves around a lot because his adoptive parents are freelance henchpeople, so this month he finds himself as the new kid at Gotham City High School, where a mysterious man with pig features asks Marcus to walk through a water curtain to reveal himself as who Marcus really is…someone who has adventured through The Journey to the West, can transform into 72 different formations, can clone himself using his hairs, and is called…the Monkey Prince!" https://bleedingcool.com/comics/new-10-page-dc-comic-monkey-prince-0-in-full/- 1 reply

Hi, first post about doing a mod, but I felt pretty passionate about this one. Having grown up with the "original" Batman films, I loved the UCS Batmobile, and while I also love the lego Batwing, the elongated cockpit really struck me as a bit NQR. I tried various mods on mecabricks, and while the most accurate "shrinkage" (based on the original studio model) of the length of the cockpit would require the removable of (two) of the sections of 1/4 clear wall elements, this would require a full blown redesign of the seat and cockpit to fit it all in the remaining one. I also tried utilizing the new UCS A-wing canopy, but it's width isn't the 8 studs required (6 only), and again, a full redesign would be needed (which is a shame as it is a more accurate shape compared to this sets design) So finally, I settled on removing 2x BOW 1/4 4X4X1 which effectively shortened the length by about 2-3 studs (along with removal of other parts that were between the two cockpit sections). This allowed me to move the front of the canopy backwards 1 stud (more screen accurate) and also move the back "shell" (WALL ELEMENT CONE 3X6X6) forwards - again more screen accurate. To complete the look, I'm planning on printing some back vinyl to make the rear section of the canopy a sloping black area (rather than clear all the way back then a vertical black where the shell starts). The other major change I made was to remove some of the dark grey "detailing" to remain more screen accurate - especially the spoilers. I narrowed them by a stud to take advantage of the void below them created by removing the two LDG 2x6 bricks, which then allowed them to sit much more flush when down (with some detailing underneath 1 stud lower than the rest of the wing area) Instead of writing more, maybe I'll just show what I'm talking about, as it will hopefully make more sense that way. Happy with the overall result. Original model: Original studio model:

Fantasy minifigure mods using latest parts
AmperZand posted a topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Here are some of my fantasy minifigures using parts released in the last few months. The parts are from the DC CMF series, Ninjago range, CNY sets and Hidden Side boxes as well as some BAM exclusive pieces. I would have preferred a more murine tail for the were-rat, but am not aware of any. I welcome suggestions. Questions? Comments? -
This interpretation of 10937 Arkham Asylum as the modular building, “An Alternate Asylum,” was created with four official sets and a handful of various monochromatic plates from my collection. Additionally, I elected to substitute some gray bricks with those of slightly more saturated hues via Bricklink. Hy Guys!! Today, I show you my first own design of Batmobile! The shapes are simple. I turned around my BTAS Batmobile I took ideas from different Batmobiles : - BTAS Batmobile - Rebirth Batmobile - White Knight Batmobile The interior is fully detailed and the Bat of Gotham himself and a passenger can fit on it. You can add energy effect or a flame for a dynamic look! YouTube Video (Showcase) : Building Instructions : https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-26146/BricksFeeder/brickfeeders-batmobile/ More shots!! I hope you enjoy this MOC! Let me know what you think about, if you want more information about or if you have advice ! See you soon!

This video game depiction of the Batmobile is one of my favorites, with the gold bat symbols adding quite a bit to the "over the top"ness of the design. I decided to recreate the video game model as best I can, but I did reach something of a snag in depicting the front bat symbol. In the game, it has a taper matching up with the rest of the hood, but I've run out of ideas in how to depict this while retaining the structural integrity of the original 76035 set. I have come up with a decent solution using a jumper piece, and if this is the best that can be done I'll be happy. Additionally, there's one game detail that I'm wondering if it's entirely possible. The side panels (2 x 2 tiles) seem to work, but the fit is either too tight or impossible. Can any more experienced MOCers weigh in on these issues? I'll be happy to provide the IO file if need be, but see the pictures of the current build below. Hope you enjoy!

Since BrickHeadz are really hitting it off this year and with the release of Lego’s fourth cinematic movie next year, you can almost guarantee another year of BrickHeadz. Which characters are you expecting from TLM2 theme? What about other themes? Potentially Overwatch BrickHeadz?...
