Minifigs in the Las Vegas Desert

Hi there everyone, Whenever I travel, I usually bring a handful of minifigs along and take pictures of them in their "natural habitats." In January I had the chance to travel to Las Vegas, and each day I went hiking in the surrounding desert. Here are some of the better pictures that I took, including Indiana Jones, Prince of Persia, Collectible Minifigs and more. Check out the entire Flickr gallery for even more photos as well as larger versions of the pictures you see here. Also, if you haven't seen my other Minifig Adventures, check out the following Flickr sets: Minifigures at Point Lobos, California Minifigures in Hawaii Indiana Jones in Costa Rica Please let me know what you think of these photos! Thanks for your time. Inky
  2. I've been wondering this for awhile, but when will we be seeing some of the CMF accessories in official "regular" sets? Excuse me if I'm wrong, but some of these accessories would be great in various sets. I'm mainly a city builder so I've highlighted mainly those that are relevant for city sets. Some of the things I'm thinking of are the skis, ice skates and snowboard from series 2 and 3 would be great in the winter village sets. Or the mechanic's tool box from series 6 would fit right in with any city garage or gas station. The syringe from the series 1 nurse would be nice in another ambulance set. I know we've seen the surfboards pop up in at least one creator house, but as far as I know its the only accessory to make an appearance in anything other than a CMF packet. Any idea if/when some of these parts will become more readily available? If this is the wrong forum, could a mod please move it?
  3. I'll start off by stating I have no idea if I have this in the right forum since the topic covers such a broad spectrum of kits. I'm assuming a mod will slap my wrist and shuffle this off to the appropriate category if I'm mistaken in my posting here I received an email today indicating a 20% off sale at Chapters.ca (canadian) on all city, star wars, chima and ninjago lego. Normally I don't get overly excited over random lego sales BUT lumped into this is the collectible minifig series 7, 8 and 9 all in stock and 20% off. I only received the email today (last day of Feb) and it states "all month long" so I hope they mean March and not just today as the rest of THIS particular month is done in about 6 hrs on the West Coast. Needless to say I'm now expecting some minifig mystery packs in the post.
