    Two Men episode 2

Two Men, my latest creation, Lego and friendship... I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a colourful and friendly 2021 and thank you if you have the time to support me on Lego Ideas https://ideas.lego.com/projects/58dd1779-e455-4142-b20f-5a3c39fba62a
  2. Hello, I'm happy to show you my first brickbuilt character of the amusement park, Aurélien Zahner, human who became devil after death. Based to the main character of the comic book "Zombillénium", created by Arthur de Pins : Zombillénium, "Keep calm Aurélien, please..." by Stephle59, on Flickr Zombillénium, "Keep calm Aurélien, please..." by Stephle59, sur Flickr He will be integrated later, in a special scene. 3. Hello every body. Few weeks ago I was about to go to bed at 2 AM when i noticed some parts left unattended on my desk. I started playing with it and 1 hour later I came up with what turned into one of the funniest and coolest little thing I ever made. :-) I like it very much, so I decide to share it with you. Let me introduce... Hector ! This is the first version of him, built only with some spare parts I had. This is why he misses a hand on this very early picture. When Lego announced their new small ball-joint system, I was very excited and ordered a handful of them off Bricklink, without knowing what to do whit it, just thinking it had some great potential. Hector is the realization of this potential. A small, yet very posable figure with a sturdy build and very lifelike proportions and articulations. I tried to give him an aristocratic and peaceful look, like some kind of tiny butler ^^ (even though he think of him a as some kind of prince). As I mentioned before, what I like the most whith Hector is his amazing posing potential ! His soles are wide enough to balance him on one feet and all the joints stay in place when posed : You may have noticed that hector seems a little different on the last picture, that's because he went trough some improvement since the V1 ! One of the biggest flaw of the prototype was the ability for the knees to bend inward. I solved the issue by adding ''kneecaps". I also made him a lighter face and made his arms and feet more sleek. I ended up liking Hector so much that I made him a friend, Pole ! But I will tell you about him later....
  4. This topic is for sharing recurring characters throughout our various Oleon stories. Oleon is looking to build stories that intersect. If you'd like your character to venture into other stories, share your characters here! Please use the Oleon Intro Topic to discuss. This topic should be for characters only. Feel free to post multiple characters in one post. The following general format is recommended for each character: NAME OF PERSON: A brief description with whatever information you feel is necessary or important to know. Please keep it under 200 words. [Single Small Image] [INSIDE A SPOILER: Additional pictures of the fig along with relevant links to their story]

    Sonic and you

80cm Sonic Before you ask, this is not a digital build. You may discover that the head is slightly (about 5 degree) leaning backward because it is too heavy. I can ensure you that tangible build is much funnier than digital build. I have to pay attention to the structure and balance of the model. Not a huge fan of Sonic, but my daughter is. So, this MOC is built for her. Desired to build this a year ago. The planning stage is long because I need to figure out how to support Sonic's huge head with his thin and long legs. The actual building stage takes about 2 weeks. No glue used. Instead, I use more than 100 liftarms to tackle the supporting issue. 0 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr 4 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr 7 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr 8 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr 9 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr 6 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr 2 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr 5 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr 10 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr 12 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr 15 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr

    Chibi Mavis Vermillion

Little work of my day https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chibi_(slang) Inspiration from Mavis Vermillion, in the Manga Fairy Tail. Made with LDD and stud.io. Failed to make the hair that long, curly and half-tapered back. Just a horror to do! So I'd settle for short hair Chibi by Horlack, sur Flickr

    BrickheadZ Sadako

Sadako Yamamuro (you may simply call her Sadako) is a female ghost in the Japanese movie Ring. The story is about a reporter who is racing to investigate the mystery behind a cursed videotape that kills the viewer seven days after watching it. In the final scene, the ghost crawls from a TV set and kills the final victim. IMG_E6486 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr IMG_6488 by skcheung730, æ–¼ Flickr

    BrickheadZ Freddy

Freddy in "A Nightmare on Elm Street". He was burned to death by angry parents whose kids were brutally killed by him. Later, as a disfigured ghost, he intruded into the dreams of teenagers and killed them in reality. Are you dare to sleep tonight? .... 12. I wanted to build a geisha in vibrant kimono, and an another samurai character to accompany her. A tea ceremony scene felt natural way to do it. It was going to take place in a tea house or a pavillion at first, but as I didn't have parts for the walls in this scale, I changed the setting into a garden. The geisha also became a maiko, an apprentice geisha, as they wear more detailed attire. Vibrant and rugged colour scheme and details on two different sides of the creation reflect the character's nature and class; the maiko is surrounded by flowers, and the samurai's swords rest on the rocks beside him. More pictures and talk on my blog.

[MOC] The Blue Angel of Hallow

The angelic overseer of the new digital age, guiding lost souls through the binary paths of ether networks. I wanted to build a character using blue, as I rarely use it as the main colour. Magenta worked nicely as the secondary colour. One trick that was on my short list was those solar panels, inverted; the sticker has a print on both sides, so the underside gets enigmatic blue glitter pattern. The halo is a Clickits wristband. [MOC] The Hideous Duplo Beast

Hello all. After getting the awesome Ultrakatty set and having the little system built Duplo alien sitting on my desk for a week or two I thought it would be funny to incorporate it into a larger moc. I got out my nieces's Duplo bricks and this was the result of a few hours of building on Saturday. Beware the mutated might of the hideous Duplo Beast! Hope ya like it :)

    [MOC] Visual Arts

This is an one-and-half-year-old WIP completed recently. It is based on Czech Art Nouveu artist Alphonso Mucha's drawing "Study for visual arts" from 1898. It is a sketch for a series of decorative panels depicting art forms. In my model, the figure sits on river bank; a delightful summer scene for midwinter! The rainbow-ish circle is a callback to round "halos" common in Mucha's ornamentation. More photos and stuff on my blog Cyclopic Bricks.

    [MOC] Professor Dumbledore

Harry Potter seems to be popular as ever, so here's Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts. Mostly based on the description on the beginning of The Philosopher's Stone and with his phoenix Fawkes. [MOC] Herald of Scales

This MOC began with possible uses of Friends dress pieces. The became skirt on larger figure. Use of short black chain pieces defined the "Ancient Eguptian" theme of the character. I also experimented with some unusual colour combinations, and I'm very happy with the result. She has a seremonial Scales sceptre, balancing a sword and a bread. [MOC] Yoda

Hello, I am not posting in this forum very often, because sculpture is my main suspect. And although I am a fan, unfortunately Star Wars is not so convenient for my building style. So here is my latest creation. It is nearly lifesize (lacking 4 cm).

    [Digital Render] Trace (Axiom Verge)

Trace (Axiom Verge) by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr Trace is the main protagonist of the videogame Axiom Verge, a pixel-styled metroidvania that was created by a single person as a "love letter" to Super Metroid. Trace was a scientist in a laser lab stationed in New Mexico. One day some sort of malfunction occurred, bringing down the lab along with science team, including Trace. Next thing he knew, he awakened in a strange, alien place, to the voice of a stranger who introduced herself as Elsenova. Armed with nothing but a biomechanical Axiom Disruptor gun and Elsenova's voice, Trace must find his way back home... Shoutout to Demitsorou for post-processing the original render. They've knocked it out of the park lol.

    [MOC]: Kuohu

The second creation on my "elemental personification": Kuohu of Water, goddess of streams, floods, raindrops and oceanic trenches. This began with the geometric patterns on the dress. The hardest part was the aqua-coloured hair, as I didn't have that much basic parts in that colour - fortunately those dragon wings made the bulk of it. I tried to fill the hat with water-esque parts (foam, steam and a bubble). The legs were another challenge, as the dress limits movement a lot. The shoes also took few tried, but I'm happy with the results. More on Cyclopic Bricks.
  25. It's been a while since I built a Leia figure and with the sad news of her passion late in 2016, I decided to build a figure of her iconic "A New Hope" princess figure with her 2 buns, white dress and wielding a blaster as a tribute. The head was the trickiest part. I was highly inspired by the cuteness of Luc Byard's brickbuilt Leia, but I didn't want her head to be as big or cartoony. Hope you like it. I will build some more characters at this scale as they are not as part count demanding. Couple pictures below and few additional ones on my Flickr account. R.I.P.
