Hi all, I'm happy to present you my Airwolf 1:25 scale model ! I started this project in 2013, inspired by Lego's 9396 Technic Rescue Helicopter. Seeing its front end, I thought "at last ! It must now be possible to make a convincing Airwolf model out of Lego !". I used Technic panels to get the aerodynamic shape properly, and have had good fun since then improving the model with new parts (the curved slopes for the exhaust for example). The model is based on the Universal Studios blueprints. It accepts 3 minifigs inside - Stringfellow Hawke, Dominic Santini and Caitlin O'Shanessy. Weapons can be displayed in or out, like the landing gear - I considered making those articulated, but at this scale I just could not figure out how to do this so these are add-ons parts. At the time I wished Lego would accept it in their Ideas project, but I got a reply that "being a military vehicle, Airwolf would not be allowed Lego support". I was quite gutted and just kept it for myself. Anyway, I'm happy to share it now ! After completing my Airwolf model, I felt I needed to make a full set of toys to make it more playable. The Bell 206s are based on the factory blueprints - also at 1:25 scale - and my first version of the Jeep was loosely based on Zed's MOC Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Since 2013 it has evolved quite a bit, though ! Also, it was good fun reproducing Archangel's limousine FIRM 1 ! As a Cadillac Seville owner in the eighties, it was nice trying to get the lines of this Fleetwood Brougham limo properly. I wish Lego would make studless wings for the front end, though !!! You will note that I could not resist creating minifigures for Archangel and his lovely bodyguards ! You might even recognise Marella and Gabrielle ;) I still feel compelled to show my models with Ukraine colours as the war is raging on. It must stop ! I remember watching Airwolf episodes where the Russians (the usual villains, the Cold War was still on) were pictured as normal people just wanting freedom and democracy. I hope this is still true ! Talk about a learning curve... Anyway, I hope you will enjoy the pics !

green 1959 Cadillac Eldorado - 8 wide MOC (set 21108 inspired model) finished 1/4/23

This model was heavily inspired by the 2014 original eight-studs wide Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (set 21108) and a convertible MOD of that set I found on Rebrickable. I've been kicking this model around in my head since early September in several colors, (black, blue, dark gray, and red were among those considered) but green is the one I finally settled on. Instead of a late-50's Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance, it's now based on the (very similar) '59 Cadillac Eldorado. In the changeover, I added a hardtop (removable) roof, mirrors, and 1/2-stud offset side-by-side seating for two (with a third seat in the back row). I also changed around the wheels. I thought about putting a spare tire back here, but it proved to look stupid no matter what I did, so I left it off. The roof and rear windscreen are only connected by a few studs, making them removable. The car easily seats three figures total. Here is the original set 21108 I was inspired by, Ghostbuster Ecto-1 from 2014. Thoughts? EDIT 1/4/23: Real life photos added of finished model. Thoughts anybody? -

In the changeover, I added a hardtop (removable) roof, different mirrors, 1/2-stud offset side-by-side seating for two, and opening doors. I also changed around the wheels to be less stressful to assemble compared to the original 2014 set. Rear view, with driver's side door opened up. The opening doors were taken from the Ecto-1 and 2 (set 75828) from 2016. The roof is only connected by two studs, making it easily removable. The car seats two figures easily. I plan on getting one of these in real life in a different color sometime in the near future, probably soon after Emmet's house parts arrive from Bricklink. Got any thoughts comments, or questions? Inspired by Mahjqa's cute little Porsches, I wanted to build something in a similar scale with Control+. This is the result. Mr Gray's hover Kadillax - 70906 MOD with driver (real world MOC)

This Kadillax (pronounced similar to "Cadillac") originally belonged to Black Hole Gang's second in command under the Brick Daddy. This financial / legal wizard is code-named Mister Gray. The Kadillax remains his personal transportation now that Gray is "retired", but this is a ruse to keep the Space Police off his tail. The real work that he does is helping rebel cells fight the Space Police IV forces, either by smuggling oppressed people around in his spacious limo and it's opening trunk, or using the secret panels to covertly transport gold or cash around to rebel hideouts or stops on the underground railroad to freedom in the galaxy's central core. The core is where sensors can not penetrate and big ships cannot enter due to the increased gravity and many asteroid chunks. In reality, this model started as 70906, Joker's Notorious Low-rider. I changed the colors, removed most of the golden parts and exchanged the bouncy wheels for hover pods. The vehicle's obvious weapons such as missile launcher / ray guns were removed when Mister Grays went clean, but the secret is that he kept the EMP generator and code scrambler as a precaution. These would prove to be most helpful in his new role as founder of the resistance network and underground railroad to help oppressed aliens and techno-mages to freedom. Mr. Gray also keeps a classic blaster in reach at all times... just in case. The vehicle can seat one figure at the drivers seat and figure in the passenger's seat . The trunk opens up and the roof is removable. After the death of the Brick Daddy, a criminal power vacuum caused a gang war to erupt between Squidman and the mysterious Mister Gray, who was Brick Daddy's shady accountant and corrupt lawyer. As Mister Gray slowly took over the Black Hole Gang from rival Squidman, he forced the Space Police III (who were at war with Blacktron 3 at the time) to regroup into the totalitarian Space Police IV by way of the Gang joining sides with Blacktron 3 forces. This proved critical to anti-alien leaning leaders of the Space Congress' plan of eradicating both the Blacktron scourge and Black Hole Gang. In the end, the Blacktron retreated to the edges of known space, and the Black Hole Gang was destroyed save two major members: Squidman, who was no longer a Black Hole Gang member when the Gang declared war of the Space Police, and Mister Gray, who sold out the gang's location to save himself. He is sometimes now called Mister "Grave" instead, but never to his face, as he alone was responsible for the saturation bombing of the Gang's hideout. This bombing killed most members and blew up it's ammo dump, thus destroying any evidence of Gray's complicity in any past crimes. After this, he decided his clean slate was not worth the blood on his hands, and thus helped found the resistance network to fight the Space Police IV forces. His immense wealth helps out those in need, and he personally smuggles wanted people around in his limo from time to time. Here is my take on modifying the Downtown Diner. I used two sets, and sort of mirrorbuild one set. The footprint is 56 studs. I widened the stairs on both sides with one stud to reach the 56 studs.

[MOD] Ghostbusters Ecto1 (improved looks/details/in-exterior)

I recently purchased 21108 and I think it's one of the all time better sets from Lego. I really enjoyed building it, and I can tell you the endresult is awesome. Like you didn't know already huh. Still ater a while some things started to bug me, and I thought I could improve on some details and overall look. The frontend is unmistakenly 59 Cadillac, but somehow it didn't look right... Wheelwell had a wrong angle; the frontwheels were set too far back; the 'eyebrows' above the headlights stick too far out; the hood is too flat compared to the fenders; too much room between frontwheel and lights because of wrong use of snot-technique, etc... I think I have improved the original model. After I modified the exterior I came across this post by flailix, and his work inspired me to do a proper interior and engine bay. I had just one problem: My car is one stud shorter than the original. So that meant I got even less room to place all 4 minifigs... But I managed to do so... ^ seating ALL 4 minifigs! ^ detailed V8 engine bay ^ notice not one but two exposed studs behind the frontwheel. Somehow it doesn't feel like Lego has forgotten something anymore It now looks like the car has a doorline. ^ I replaced the inverted slope which just had the wrong angle and made the bodywork between frontlights and wheel too large with a cheeseslope. By using other snot-parts I managed to shrink it a bit further and clean up the bumperside by separating it from the headlights. ^ Major modification was shortening the cab by a stud. It forced me to create open windows which I love. The windshield is set back to create more bodywork between frontwheel and windshield. The roofrack needed to be set back a stud creating less room at the back of the roof. Just like the real thing. The blue hoses are now compact together compared to the original set. I used an extra slope next to the hoses to let the body have a better flow. ^ now that the ladder is set back one stud I could attach it by clicking it into a red 1x1 clip I placed in the fin. On this side also more slope pieces above the rear wheel for better flow ^ I used a plate to give the bumper more mass. ^ the round studs don't bother me as much as they do on the original. It's much more a 'one piece' frontfender. It even suggested me to use round studs in the hoodcorners. It really helps rounding off the hoodcorners. The hood got raised because I thought it sat too low between the fenders. ^ now this was the most difficult task: Creating enough room for a decent interior that can seat all 4 minifigs. I'ts not able to hold all 4 backpacks but it does have room for a trap ^ sure it's kinda cosy but hey, it fits! -
On the dusty high plains of West Texas, the Llano Estacado of yore, memorialized in song and art, sited on a extant portion of the original Mother Road, Route 66, just west of Amarillo, rests Stan Marsh's Cadillac Ranch, a monument to the Open Highway, the Road Trip, and the Gasoline-Fueled Four-Wheel Behemoths that used to prowl these byways. Cadillac Ranch is a modern sculpture of a series of ten 1950's era Cadillacs buried hood first in the West Texas dirt, designed to illustrate the progression of body styles and tail fins through the decade and beyond, with vehicle models from 1949 to 1963 stuck unceremoniously in the ground. The installation is publically accessible - and untold numbers of visitors have left their marks - brightly painting every above-ground surface with a variety of designs, colors, and graffiti. My version of this iconic architectural landmark is a mini-fig scale depiction of four Cadillacs, containing 1217 parts. Designed and built over the course of about 6 months, going through several iterations. Enjoy. [MOC] 2010 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe w/Mindstorms Ev3

Hey guys, I've built several Lego vehicles with MINDSTORMS® and decided to use my experiences with previous vehicles to build a real car. I was originally looking at building a Ford Escape, but the blueprint scaler measurements came out all wrong, so I turned to a Cadillac CTS-V. I'm a fan of the CTS-V, mostly because of the luxurious ride and smoking performance fused into one car. Here's a picture of the real-life vehicle: Please note beforehand that I am building a model based off the Cadillac CTS-V, but not necessarily an exact replica, partly due to less than a total of 2,000 pieces and partly because I don't have a lot of pieces of just one color I'll try to share the blueprint with measurements tomorrow, and because I am already working on a few builds at once, starting this work on spare parts will be a bit slow for a couple weeks. [MOC] Model Team Cadillac Eldorado

Here's my new MOC, a Model Team Cadillac Eldorado. I built the bottom of this (it's built upside-down) a year ago but put it aside because I couldn't get a studs-up chassis on it in a way that was solid and rigid enough to support the car. But now I finished it, and it's rigid: Some pics with the top down: And everything opens: The bottom is built studs-down because I hate the look of tubes from the bottom of plates, and I wanted to add the necessary details to the bottom as well: The yellow thing in this picture is to support it by the sides, because the roof isn't strong enough to support it upside down. I should try to fix that, but the main reason is that the front of the roof isn't attached to the windshield because of the convertible option: -
[MOC] Cadillac Fleetwood Le Cabriolet Lowrider (1:10)

I rarely build cars, but a tricked out Cadillac Fleetwood Le Cabriolet lowrider in 1/10 scale had been on my wishlist for a while. After some extensive research on lowrider technicalities and Cadillac 1980s frame design, I started work. This model is constructed out of 100% genuine Lego bricks; many retro-chromed with plating on plastics true chrome technology…. so actual true metal layers there. The gold parts however are sprayed. For the first time I used UV printing technology to apply a mural directly on the bricks on the trunk lid. The only non-Lego parts are some wires and the ‘Rollerz’ club logo, which is lasercut from Acrylic. All in all a lot of new technology to support this build. Hope you like it! This Modular Ghostbusters Headquarters has been sized to fit in with the LEGO Modular Series. (Developed for LEGO Ideas by OGELSBOB (formerly known as "LEGODT") Only 16-studs wide. Thanks to Sergio512 for the wonderful design of the LEGO Ideas submission: Ghostbusters HQ. I copied some of the build techniques and design elements of the Sergio512 design to inspire the creation of this modular-sized Ghostbusters Headquarters. The garage door facade is made of dark brown 1x4 tiles that cover 1x5x8.5 stockade doors. In order to fit the Ecto-1 Cadillac inside the building with inward swinging doors, I had to extend the depth of the standard 32 stud baseplate by 16 studs. This creation is 16 studs by 48 studs. You can see from the photos that this creation fits in nicely with modular-proportioned buildings. The interior features a pod for Dr.Egon, Dr. Peter, Dr. Raymond & Winston Zeddemore to perform their duties and to relax with some snacks. Little do they know that above their secure pod, Slimer, a ghastly apparition, is about to invade their inner sanctum. What does everyone think about the playability of this MOC? [Hopefully the right forum, but since the MOC is clearly town and minifig related, since the theme is not (yet) a licensed theme and since some movie cars like the Bluesmobile and the Mad Max Road Warrior are here, too, it might be a suitable place. If not, feel free to move it.] Hi all, I know, we have seen quite a few Ectos lately (btw good luck to Brent Waller with his Cuusoo proposal, that would be a fantastic set ), but well, since there are some special aspects with this one, it might be worth to upload it here, too. Now this can be called a co-operative MOC, since full credit for the whole 9V technical unit (plus roof and ghostbusters greeble) goes to my dear friend Brucewaynelego-Toyshansolo, see http://www.flickr.co...157623498552724. Since he had already found an ingenious solution for the main problem, I just had to transplant it into a new car body. Here you can see it in action (sorry for the poor quality): The car itself is 7 studs wide and built in the so-called bracket-and-tile style I have used for most of the cars lately. It fits 4 whole ghostbusters and a 9 volt light & sound battery box. The cab can be detached to get the figs in and out of the car: And that's it so far. C&C welcome as usual. Thanks for looking.

Fleetwood MOC - proposal for a different car for 10232 Palace Cinema

But no sooner there was the idea that this might go well with 10232 Palace Cinema I wanted to share it with you as quickly as possible. The origin of this was the usual struggle with the windscreen height. The idea here is that you get a much nicer silhouette for such a car if you lower the windscreen into the body (you can do that only with a 7w body, of course). Some other issues result from this, but it is possible. This surely has been done before, but maybe not in a setting like this. The car is built in a bracket-and-tile style, this has several advantages. Due to the brackets the frame is quite stable and may serve as a platform for more cars in this style. It fits 3 figs and can easily be turned into a convertible. No custom chrome (so far) and as far as I can see no illegal or especially difficult techniques (except the tires maybe), so it can easily be copied. The whitewall tires are my own design (no paint), tailfins taken from Legohippie, see http://www.1000stein...y.php?id=241132 Alas, no openable doors which is not so nice in terms of a replacement for the original car, but I didn't find a way until now.
