[MOC/2016]Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet
moonein posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Based on the Mercedes-Benz G500 Cabriolet design, and carried out a more radical modification. Two L motor drive, one servo motor steering, four-wheel drive, remote control. Using two special parts, one is above the 42043 logo, and the other is x85 (lamp bowl). Rear bumper design is still in the adjustment. http://www.moc-pages.../moc.php/430479 http://ein.cc -
I am proud to present you my very first LEGO car that I have built and I am quite pleased with the outcome and had a lot of fun building this fancy cabriolet. If you want to see more pictures, including the details in the cockpit, they can be found on my ImperiumDerSteine album. [WIP] Cadillac Eldorado Convertible 1959
martijnnab posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
All, I am trying to build the core structure of a Cadillac Eldorado Biarriz 1959. As it's a convertible the chassis needs to be very strong as I have no roof to support it and the door should open up. So except for the center 3 studs, the chassis can only be 2 studs high, especially in the center where the seat are. I have created a structure that works ok for now, but seems quite "solid" and require a lot of beams. Anybody any ideas on how to make it as stiff as possible while potentially reducing number of parts needed? Top View Update 21-04-2014 The front shape is starting to look like the real thing. Next step the bonnet..... Update 30-04-2015. Bonnet and dashboard are ready, lights and motor wiring all routed to the back, time to model the backside section!! :sweet:
