  1. Well, this year's LEGO offering has been good time me. As a starter... I immediately took a liking to LEGO Creator 31090 due to the prospect of building a LEGO TF from the parts inside. So here we are. BumbleSea is a low profile sibling of Bumblebee and he transform into an undersea sub with salvage and recovery abilities . Transformation doesn't require reassembly of parts. One of my biggest challenge was implementing the windshield on his chest (like Bumblebee), which connects pretty near to the pelvic balljoints. For building instructions, pay a visit to my blog below: http://alanyuppie.blogspot.com/2019/02/lego-creator-31090-underwater-robot.html For building instructions of my other LEGO Transformers ,especially those made from a single LEGO set. go here: http://alanyuppie.blogspot.com/search/label/instruction
  2. Hi guys! It’s been almost 9 months since I last posted something here! Been very busy with work and this is been ready for a few months but I was only able to upload it now. Loved the cartoons when I was a kid and really liked the first Transformers movie from 2007, so I decided to build bumblebee, which is by far my favourite Autobot! This was quite a cheral months as it is way out of my comfort zone. For those attending the Skaerbaeck Fan Weekend in a couple of weeks, if you would like to see it, it will be there! :) Thanks to Markus Rollbühler for the incentive and the tips :) And no, it doesn't transform into a beautiful Camaro! Hope you guys like it! Bumblebee Bumblebee Bumblebee
  3. My little son is a big fan of the Lego Speed Champions models. When I saw the Corvette I thought it was a good base to build a "Bumblebee" Camaro. So I started with instructions for the new Speed Champions Camaro, a Transformer from the second movie and built a Speed Champions version of the Camaro used in the film. The idea to build a Legoformer based on the movie Bumblebee was in my mind for years, too. So after building the Speed Champions model I continued with a shell of the Camaro and tried to find a transforming mechanism that was small enough to be squeezed into the 6-wide model. The main idea was to get as close as possible to the Speed Champions model (including the wheel houses and wheels) without visible hinges or gaps. The robot looks more like a "Hulk Buster", but I'm still quite satisfied with the look. The wish to have a Barricade as a rival was right there when "Bee" was finished, so I went on. Black mudguards aren't so easy to get, as there is no model with four of the new ones, yet. After all I bought four Audi models to have all the parts for two Barricades (a Speed Champion for my son and a Legoformer for me). Once more I started with the Speed Champion for my son and modified it to include the transforming function. I really wanted to include the "long arms" of the movie Transformers, so I had to modify the transforming mechanism quite a bit to get the desired result. OK, enough words, time for some pictures. [MOC] Transformer Bumblebee

Happy new year! This is my first 2015 MOC. The design is based on 80's transformer animation toy (http://tfwiki.net/wi...blebeeg1toy.jpg). I designed the car mode first and then thought about how to transform into robot mode. I make use the small ball joint to build it. Hope you all like it.
