I wanted something to hold my extra Toa masks when they were wearing either there standard or golden one. [Review] Skull Warrior / Skull Slicer / Skull Basher combiner model

Now that all the Skull gang has been reviewed by VBBN, it's time to take a closer look at the combiner models. The first one is made of three of the four medium sets : Skull Warrior, Skull Slicer and Skull Basher. The build : The instructions for these combiners aren't available (yet), so I had to guess the build from the (tiny) pictures at the end of the instructions of each set. We start with the torso and the gearbox, then we add the legs, the arms, the spikes on the back, the armours and the head. The complete model : His huge body and his wide shoulders make him really imposing, and he's rather properly armoured, especially for a skeleton. The main issue to me is the colour scheme (two metallic colours and four transparent colours), but it was hard to do better : it's possible to replace most of the blue parts by green ones (except the #4 armours on the arms and the horns, of course), but it makes the model look too much like Slicer, which I think the designers wanted to avoid (which is understandable, especially since he already has four arms). So... we have a rainbow warrior instead. Well. A blue crossaxle / pin is used to give some friction to the mechanism, but it's useless : as soon as you release the yellow knob, the arms "fall". Speaking of the arms, since they're all aligned, the "inner" arms almost can't move on the sides, only frontwards and backwards. What I like, and despite what the official description says, it's that this combiner has only one head. Sure, they could have given him three heads, but it would have been useless and ridiculous, so I'm glad they chose to stick to only one head. I also like the claws on his feet, especially the fact that they used a Skull Spider leg for the middle claw. It's a small detail, but I like it. It's an interesting build, and an imposing model, but it really suffers from the colour scheme. -
Hello folks! Many people feel disappointed seeing newest incarnation of ToaTahu. Well, I can agree that some details could be made in better way (like arms) but overall I think he's a good set. Not perfect but good. Anyway I decided to give new Bionicle a chance and I bought Tahu. When I finally built him I felt that something is wrong with design - and I slowly began to improve him. And you know what? I really ejnoy this moment! So, here it is. My newest Tahu remake. Brickshelf (no collages) | DeviantArt| Flickr | Blog Don't worry if you feel that pictures are too small. If you go to my flickr/DA gallery (depending on what's your favourite) you should be able to see larger images. If you don't like collages - don't worry, you can still go to my Brickshelf gallery. I'm going to make a short video-presentation but I don't know when I'll finish it. Some details: As you can see his legs are now armoured not only from front but from behind too. I'm not sure about the side-panels but I'm afraid I don't have enough HF red parts. I decided to change his original hands into something a bit different. I came up with some new patents but finally I decided to use something simillar to MrBoltTron's concept because it looks much better. And yeah, he can hold his swords in hands! Last thing in this photo which I mention is armour which covers his gears. Don't worry, you can still rotate them (and arms) but more armour means reduced mobility. Fortunately on acceptable level :) Tahu can hold his swords on his back. The only disadvatage is that he's leaning little backwards but hey - these swords are little heavy! Anyway, for me it's still ok. Original model has a golden mask which makes Tahu more powerful. I made a collage with it: Still looks ok but I'm not sure if red one is better. You see, this construction has many golden parts (probably too much) and it needs some reds for contrast. And - what do you think about using this golden mask for Jaller remake creation? ;) Some extras: "Meet my new pet": Some of you may be wondering - what's happen to Tahu's surfing board? Well, I had so many pictures to process that I totally forgot about this :/ Anyway I hope you enjoyed my creation. Hey Guys welcome to my MOC of the Lord of the Skull Spiders in humanoid form during absorbing/fusioning with Pohatu. I love constracting my own canon with Bionicle and I love darker storylines, so here is what happened: When the Toa landed on Okoto, Onua just met Pohatu. They decided to search for the other Toa their Protectors have them told of. On their way they found the Lord of the Skull Spiders and his giant army. Seeing that he has no chance against these Toa, the Lord of Skull Spiders commanded his army to distract Onua and Pohatu, while he could do a ruse on Pohatu. He absorbed Pohatu and gained more power than ever before. Now he could beat Onua and bring him under his controll. It is the destiny of the four Toa left to liberate their Brothers and get rid of the Lord of Skull Spiders. This is my first MOC using CCBS since I stopped collecting BIONICLE in 2007. A wave of nostalgia lead me to buy the new 2015 Bionicle, so =D His Body is pretty simple built since it is Pohatus build. His golden armour is Onua's, I swapped the Onua's golden plates with silver ones because it looks better in my opinion. His extra arms came from the Protector of Fire and his weapons, well, just some old style Bionicle swords :D Will the other Toa defeat this powerful enemy and free their brothers?

Hey everyone. As most of you know, it's heavily rumored that Bionicle will be returning next year. With all the excitement and joy in the air, I thought it would be fun to share any interesting ideas for a storyline that would be cool to see. I would like to see a storyline involving an Anti-Toa, an evil spirit disguised as a hero who will one day betray those closest to him in order to fulfill his evil duties. Any other ideas?
