    [MOC] Bilbo's Door

This is my third Lord of the Rings/Hobbit MOC and it is more of an artistic view on the famous shot of Bilbo's door in the Hobbit. This is not an exact re-creation identical to the movies but I still really like it and the scale is really nice. I wish I could finish the whole house but like most of my MOCS, I just don't have the parts. I hope you enjoy my idea of The door to Hobbiton.

    Bag End

Hobbit - for me this was always one of the best story and somehow part of my childhood. Not really surprisingly, I wanted to start my own LEGO replica of the Bag End for some time already. Unfortunately, I still do not have enough bricks, so for now at least a digital model :) Consider this as a draft without full details - those will be added later into the real model. Hope you will like the first room... martin Full Album
  3. My 2nd Entry for the 2014-2015 Middle Earth Lego Olympics. The theme for this Round was The Hobbit characters and for my category I was given Gandalf. Gandalf the Grey, later known as Gandalf the White, also known as Mithrandir (Sindarin-"White Pilgrim" or "Gray Wanderer"), was a wizard, or Istar, sent by the West in the Third Age to combat the threat of Sauron. He joined Thorin and his company to reclaim Erebor from the dragon Smaug. For this entry I decided to build a brick built figure of Gandalf, trying to go out of my comfort zone, as I have never done brick built figures before. In this build I was attempting to portray Gandalfs and Bilbos meeting at the start of the The Hobbit film an Unexpected Journey. During there time together Bilbo spoke to Gandlaf "Good Morning" and Gandalf replied; "What do you mean?" he said. "Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on?" "All of them at once," said Bilbo. I wanted to portray a scene which identifies a concept of Gandalfs personality, even though he is down to earth and tolerant about serious situations, Gandalf still has a great sense of humor and creates some brilliant comic relief within the books and films. Hope you guys enjoy :)
  4. My final entry to Category C. This is one of my favorite scene of the Desolation of Smaug movie, and I've waiting for a good chance to recreate it in LEGO.

  6. Good morning/afternoon/evening, I'm looking for the blue coat Bilbo figure that was given out with 'The Hobbit' DVD/blu-ray pre-orders earlier this year. Let me know if you have it for trade (preferably through a PM) along with your country of residence, your own figure wants and possibly a possible price point. If you've got any other figures from The Hobbit or The Lord of the Rings up for trade, let me know. I'm looking for many other figures from Middle-Earth as well. In most occassions, I'm only willing to do trades. (After my two ongoing trades are finished and my packages are shipped out, I'll post another topic for other LOTR/Hobbit figs I'm looking for, so I won't be putting too much hay on my fork. Even if you don't have this Bilbo, shoot me a PM if you've got LOTR/The Hobbit figs for trade.) By entering a trade with me, you agree that you're willing to ship first. As for my own haves, I have some less recent Star Wars figures and CMFs that I may be willing to trade. Other themes too, perhaps, depending on your wants.
