  1. It was a busy day at the Westface Market. Lots of minifigs shopping and walking about. Market 2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr With the every industrious Corrington in town, business was booming for lots of the local shop keepers and merchants. Market 3 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Although some chaos is bound to take place in such a crowded area! Market 4 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Normally its a challelenge enough to not get your toes stepped on, its another to escape stampeding pigs! Overlooking the market is an inn that is being rented out by the ETTC, and the watchful ETTC Sepoys and Royal Marines keep the peace when its busy. Market 5 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Inside, new ETTC member Major Sir Nathaniel Brickford goes over some plans with a local architect for new infrastructure in Westface on behalf of the ETTC. Market 8 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Market 7 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr ------------------------------------------- My entry for Category C in support of the Merchants. To be licensed by the ETTC as a commerce. C&C are welcome and apprecieated and thanks for looking!
  2. A Terraversan peace agreement had been reached with Oleon, and a large portion of the Corlander expeditionary forces stationed in Westface were beginning to withdraw to points across the Brick Seas. Colonel Allcock had decided to stay in Westface with the remaining soldiers for the time being to assist L'Olius in establishing the new Commonwealth, and to justify the free trade agreement Corrington enjoyed with the new state. Before the commanders of the departing forces set sail, Allcock invited them to the inn where he kept rooms to share in a celebratory toast and meat pies. In attendance were Colonel Allcock, Major Brickford, Lord Spud, Don Isaac Montoya, Captain Brickleton, Captain Cooke, and Captain Redding. Colonel Allcock led a toast: "To the new Commonwealth of Terraversa! To the Queen! To Corrington!" OOC: Wanted to try a build with dark brown accents - hadn't tried that before Licensed as a large artisan in Westface Old Roof Version:
  3. While most Corlander officers found quarter at the inns of Westface, NCOs and troopers kept camp in a number of large tent cities. Strategically, the presence of the encampments in the outskirts of Westface added another layer of defense to the town. As Colonel Sir Dirk Allcock looked on at soldiers from the 26th Foot, Elizabethville Militia, and Royal Artillery standing in line together for delicious-smelling fresh fish porridge, he thought fondly of how the gathering of different units from across the Brick Seas presented an unusual opportunity for diverse groups of Corlanders to mingle and share stories of their colonies. Even if the seemingly inevitable fight with Oleon didn't materialize, for the soldiers rallied at Westface the gathering would be a reference point for years ´╗┐to come.
  4. After returning from their reconnaissance mission to scout out terrain in eastern Terraversa, Colonel Sir Dirk Allcock and Major Brickford gather Corlander officers in camp to review gathered intelligence and to delegate preparatory tasks.
  5. The Corlander Army has amassed a large number of field pieces of various size at their Westface Camp. Major Brickford talks with Captain Redding of the Royal Artillery after the artillery unit successfully ran through a speed drill with their 12 pounders. Captain Redding, a veteran of many previous engagements, is confident they are ready to face Oleon should they meet on the battlefield.
  6. On the Outskirts of Westface While Colonel Allcock and Major Brickford have been scouting the surrounding land beyond Westface and clearing overgrown roads, the troops in Westface continue to drill and remain on high alert. Keeping a well regulated army is just as important as gather information on the enemy. Here, a detachment of the 45th Regiment of Foot from the city of Quinnsville joins a few hussars on a short march. Troop Movement 3 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Just outside of Westface is a small encampment of Terraversians. The sight of long orderly columns of proud redcoats give the locals hope that they will one day be free of the foreign threat from Oleon. Troop Movement 7 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr The Terraversians are offering what help they can to the Corrie cannon battery located just outside the city gates. Troop Movement 6 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr ------------------------------------------------------- After seeing all the recent builds for the Terraversa conflict I wanted to jump back into things with a bang. Extra pics in the spoiler. C&C are welcome and appreciated!
  7. A company of 26th Foot pass by the pickets to enter camp after patrolling the surrounding area, while a group of 18th Hussars heads out to reconnoiter Oleon positions. Soldiers of the Elizabethville Militia and 47th Foot look on.

    [BTV1-TER] Midnight raid

Westface surrounding beaches around midnight: After much fighting over the course of several weeks, Oleon successfully captured most of the prominent settlements on the coasts of Terraversa. The last stronghold on the coast is the city of Westface. In an effort to complete the circle around the island, several boats have landed supplies on the beaches a short ways from the city. While some of the guards can feel a tension in the air, some are exhausted from the sleepless nights and fall fast asleep. Beach Ambush 1 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr As the bluecoats relaxed a little, a brave band of Terrversian raiders from Westface had been spending the past 2 hours slowing advancing on the unsuspecting enemy. Beach Ambush 2 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr In and instant 2 shots rang out as the small band of raiders quickly overtook the enemy guarding some much needed supplies. Though one solider returned fire, two fled as two lay dead in the sand. Beach Ambush 3 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr Knowing that the shots would certainly cause a stir, the raiders quickly went about securing as much of the supplies as they could before reinforcements would arrive. As the guards had fled, they figured they would help themselves to the two empty and waiting boats. Beach Ambush 4 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr The supplies were loaded and boats were launched. The remaining raiders would escape on foot back to the walls of Westface with the intent of drawing any enemy fire away from the escaping boats. It was uncertain if this brazen ambush would help the Terrversians retain their freedom or not, but it was worth a shot. Beach Ambush 5 by LM71Blackbird, on Flickr ------------------------------------------------- A build for the support of Terraversa and their continued freedom! C&C are welcome and apprecieated and thanks for looking.
