Built for the “Ultimate Tree House” category of the MOCathalon. I’ve always wanted to build a tree house, so this was a very fun category for me, though still a bit tricky at times. The tree house features a working crane, tire swing, rope bridge, and a full interior. Fun fact: This build used all of the green, bright green, and dark green leaves in our collection. [MOC] Forestry wagon for Unimogs

Hi folks, some days ago I finished a new MOC. It's a forestry wagon, those are/were often used by lumbermen here in southern Germany. The lumbermen took their breaks in... Okay this is another free build, I've made, my second actually, so I hope you all like it! Here it is: Deep in the swamplands of Nocturnus, was a treehouse built from two trees. The treehouse over looked small road used only by a few merchants who wished to shave time off their trade route. Inside were two croc warriors. Suddenly running up the road was a third croc warrior. He ran over to the tree house and scrambled up the ladder. “What is it?” Demanded the leader of the croc warriors. “A merchant wagon is coming! Two guards! They’ll be here ANY minute!” “Finally! Get to your posts!” barked the leader. The other two warriors scrambled down the ladder and concealed themselves in the swamp. The crocs watched silently as the wagon came nearer. Just as it passed the tree house the leader croc dropped a log held by who chains, it swung through the hole in the tree house floor and slammed into the wagon knocking it and the guard walking next to it into the swamp. The crocs in the swamp leapt out and attacked! The leader scrambled down the ladder and attacked the last guard, quickly killing him. Soon all the merchants were dead, and the crocs set about looting the half submerged wagon. Okay that's it hope you all liked it! Please feel free to leave any compliments and/or criticism.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share an awesome MOC from my friend on Lego Ideas, nunki-psi. Nunki-psi was recently staff picked for another project, Medieval Pharmacy. Nunki-psi's newest project is a peddler's wagon with opening doors, a removable roof, many accessories, and amazing details and aesthetics. This MOC features a peddler's wagon with several different features, including compartments for swords, bows and quivers, and Merry Men. Robin Hood and Little John are riding the wagon, and the Sheriff of Nottingham is off to the side ready to check the wagon's contents. There is an additional member of the Merry Men in the tree to the side of the wagon, which includes a catapult and hand and footholds to climb it in the back. While we wait to see what Nexo Knights has in store for us, I thought I would share another MOC I just made. One of Robin Hood's Merry Men enters the village ready to give out stolen treasure . . . since his cart looks to be carrying refreshment, he is able to smuggle the treasure in without being stopped by the Sheriff of Nottingham's men! This MOC includes a horse-drawn cart featuring a barrel full of treasure, and two minifigures: One of Robin Hood's Merry Men to steer the cart, and a village blacksmith ready to gather up the treasure (as shown in the last image). The Luctor is back! And it's back with a bang hitched to it. A €600, 2.5kg, 2500pcs, one year build-time bang. And the video is on YouTube. To give you a hint: this is the first ever forage wagon made out of Lego bricks that can actually pick up grass and dispose it when the cargo is full. It took over one year to build, the pickup system for the grass alone cost me a full-time week! As part of a widespread campaign, the Faith has begun sending priests to all corners of the continent in order to spread their message. These priests travel in many ways, depending on the path to their destination. Some walk, some ride horses or chobos, some simply go outside, and others travel in large wagons. Thanks to the high quality roads in the more civilized parts of Kaliphlin, the man assigned to Carn was able to use on of these. Some are less than happy to see the large wagon rolling into their town... ...while others look on eagerly. A few of the city's older institutions aren't exactly thrilled about this developement. Everyone remembers the 9V Train's sub-theme "My Own Train"... or if you don't and are wondering what I'm talking about look here on Bricklink for a list of all the sets in that theme: http://www.bricklink...ing=124.315.694 The passenger aspect of this sub-theme is covered by this set, #10015: Passenger Wagon. (seen in this stock Bricklink photo below) Also, I might suggest you look at -R8-'s 2011 Reviewer's Academy review of the set here on Eurobricks: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=59018 Everyone loves a classic, and the set deserves the affection if gets. However, it really lacks variety if you have a whole train of these running around. I asked myself these questions: Where does the baggage / mail go? Where are the end tail lights? Why am I talking to myself? Thus, I built my own version, which I plan on getting in real life soon (if not next): I went ahead and added inter-car walkways, giving it less a 1870's feel and more a 1910's look, plus two sliding doors for the combination baggage / passenger car. A small rear platform for the observation car was added, as were 1/2 stud recessed doors for platform access. These coaches are also build-able in tan, dark purple, reddish brown, white, black, and red. They are to be pulled by engine #4613 around my layout: (EDIT: 7/22/14: Updated the photo of the engine to a more recent screenshot... now I just need to take a real life photo!) What do you think? Comments, questions, and complaints welcome!

ARg! Sorry I should have put [MOC] at the front of the Topic Title, but I cannot figure out how to change the title now that it is sumbitted. If someone can tell me how I would be very appreciative. I have been thinking of doing this project for years. But I was always too busy and could not quite figure out how it would work. Trying to cram a lot of curvy color into a Lego build can be pretty daunting. And then on top of that, making it as complex and "Modular style" on the inside as possible. I had a real blocker though. I wanted one of the figures to have a Lute...how do you build a Lute in Lego. Well, this kept just taking up brain space, kept distracting me. So I finally brought it up with my friend Alatariel. We turned it into a personal Iron Builder challenge. And that really just broke ope the dam. Even the Lute itself, just 3 elements was a collaboration that brought out the best of our styles. All in all this is probably one of my favorite personal builds. I keep working on the Cabinet though...cramming that much detail into such a tight space is a real challenge. The dimension of the bed worked out perfectly though and the dead space under it really allowed me to add a lot of detail on the back. Getting that ring in the middle of the "diamond" takes up a LOT of real-estate. This last piece is a "zoom in" on the Lute. If you are familiar with Patrick Rothfuss and his Kingkiller Chronicle series of books, well, this is where I got the idea for building a Vardo. They are real things. But reading the books is what got me wanting to build one. The guy on the Left is a "portrait" of the Author that I figure fans might get a kick out of. [MOC] DSB Køf with DSB Litra Gs I (8-wide shunter & 7-wide wagons)

Presenting another Köf...with wagons DSB Køf The Danish State Railways (DSB) shunter Køf was the Danish version of the legendary German Köf (Kleinlokomotive, Öl-antrieb durch dieselmotor, kraftübertragung mit Flüssigkeitbetriebe). 40 Køf shunters were built by Frichs from 1966 to 1969. A few are still in active service today. My model: DSB red & black livery used in the 1980s. Scale: 1:45 Length: 17 studs Width: 8 studs Bricks: 276 Powered: 1 x 9v motor or PF motor with the old 9v battery box using the PF to 9v extension wire Control: 9v / IR Reciever or SBrick Designed: 2012 Minor updated: 2018 Very high setting render from Stud.io with custom decals done in the PartDesigner tool. Easy access to the IR Receiver: Either 9v or PF can be used to run the model but PF requires the PF train motor to be connected to the older 9v battery box by extension wire in a very tight fit with little room to spare. DSB Litra Gs (I) wagons The Danish State Railways (DSB) classic 2-axle covered wagons with sliding doors were built by Scandia in Denmark. A huge numbers of 2.871 were built from 1953-1964.
