    Fire Truck

I got this idea from the new 60061 set but other than that it is my own design. The truck was built of bricks which I bought from flea market. I used an old windshield in poor condition for modification. It was fun to build.

MOD - Nick Fury's Flying Car

This is more like a "mod" than MOC :) I have finally got the 76004 set with Nick Fury, Spider Man and Venom (I love Venom!), but the green car does not look right in my setup which contains the original Quinjet, original jeep and my MOC Avengers truck. So I just turned it back to the official blue color... And now everything is all good and ready for battle!

    5-wide Red Truck

Long while since I posted. I've built a few things since I last posted, but this is something I'm particularly happy with (minus how fragile it is in places..) Here's the set with full-res images: Flickr Set Here's where I pulled much of my inspiration. If anyone knows who this person is, please give them my praise. Great stuff here!

    MOC: Self Steering Truck

As it says in the title, this is a Lego City truck, which turns the front wheels by itself in the direction you push it. I got the inspiration for this creation on an official Lego channel on YouTube with video .The vehicle is not exactly a great aesthetic achievement, but at the end it was more to the functionality than the looks. Here are some pictures: How it works on Lego City streets? Watch the video: Here is the explanation: The entire system is mounted in the lower part of the plate 4 studs wide (not shown in the picture). So the blue half-pins for attacing are mounted in to the middle circles at the bottom of an ordinary Lego plate and this amounts to width of 3 studs. The gray parts are in this case fixed and do not move. Purple pins connect them into a whole. The green part is responsible for a steady rotation of the black base for the wheels. Black base are connected with orange axle-pins to the gray and green parts. Red pins secure the wheels to the black connectors. Brown pin is added as a limiter for the wheels movement so that they are not rotating too much.
  7. Hi guys. I'm back with my latest ongoing build, an 8x8. Each axle has it's own ball-joint suspension, so the ground clearance and articulation are both very good. Independent steering on the two front axles using two M motors. Two XL motors for drive with a final ratio of 3:25. Overall a very sturdy and well-performing truck.
  8. Hello!! After seeing the Technic Set 41999 in which I found aesthetically very beautiful, I decided to make a replica of it in minifig scale :) is actually a Dodge Charger 1970 with big wheels :) I will build the same physically, there are these renderings This MOC its also on Cuusoo http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/51928 Full resolutions http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/
  9. My younger brother, age 11, built this produce truck: It does fit a fig: Much of the design was inspired by this model, built by Dix: My brother would love to hear some feedback
  10. Ok, here is my entry, got it finished this morning after all night build. My triple consist of truck, removable log crane and trailer. The truck and the crane work with remote PF. (except outriggers on crane are handled manually) The truck: The truck features forward/reverse (L-motor) and return to center steering by PF servo. In the truck are also located the cranes turntable and main boom motors (M&L). It uses maximum 500 parts, it was quite a challenge to do such large model with relativelly small part count. I used LDD trough all the build, so it shouldn't exceed the max part count. I learned a LOT on optimizing and utilizing special technic parts. I'm quite happy with appearance of it, and I like the cabin very much. All tho I had to tape few panels black cause I hadn't anough of them :( But I think you hardly notice :) The crane: The crane features main boom, second boom, and fully operational claw. They work remotely. (one channel not used) Motors are M. It has also manual outriggers. Crane also uses all 500 parts. The claw rotates using small turntable and claw closing action is fed trough it. The claw is synchronized so turning the claw won't affect much to closing action. The synchronization is done in the superstructure with system of gears and differential. In short, when the turning motor is driven, it also turns the the claw gears trough the stationary differential in opposite direction so the claw is almost unaffected (It was not possible to exactly match the gear ratios with small turntable). When claw motor is driven, is the differential turning and closing/opening the claw. Claw turning is not affected at all. I'm quite pleased with this brainchild. It could be used with any other application when turntable is causing undesired action. Below is the crane with out battery case, so the system is visible: (It's a poor picture, I don't know can you make any sense of it) The trailer: Nothing special there, other than it uses only 453 parts :) oh, and I'm also short of double angular beams in same color. All my Black and dark grey ones are in this triple. Finally, all working together: Short video clip: I think I will just copy this to entry topic. (Did it) Feel free to comment.

    MOC - Airborne Rally Group

Hi everyone, it has been some time since I posted here. Finally I managed to complete this MOC. When I first saw 60025, I thought it was too sloppy and modified it to make the Octan Audi R18 LMP. Here with 60027, the same appeared to me. Monster truck? The truck was too weak too, so how about something even more interesting? Airborne Spoilers is now a rally group, let's take a look! Indeed it is quite long! Let's first look at the support jeep! "Hey man, don't take the tools again without letting me know!" "C'mon!" The back of the jeep. It is based on the nice fire captain car, but one layer of brick raised. You know rally tracks are all bumpy and sandy... Second is the truck. It is not just a trailer truck, but also a truck with a little lifting crane! The arm is perfect for maintenance and repair of the rally cars, but seriously it cannot do something too heavy, but these guys say "enough for now"! The final car is of course the rally star, the rally truck! The 6-wheel machine has no problem at all racing through the dessert or wet swamp area. I was planning to put on a lot of sponsor stickers, but I believe it is better to leave it this way... what do you think? "Hey don't move yet! Something to fix at the hood still!" "I can't wait, quick!" Well, the star racer is probably too excited, and the rally truck is not enough for him. He also has his rally bike! Gosh, he is too hyperactive! When the race is over, when the guys are all packed up, someone probably smells it... "a race going on here?" An overview of my MOC based on 60025 and 60027. All my racing crews are here! :) Let me know what you think!
  12. I present my entry to the Eurobricks Technic Triple challenge. We are off to the sod farm. Ever wondered how they grew such nice grass on your local golf course or the town square? They probably ordered sod and used machines just like these. The MAN TGS has working doors, steering, and a three part crane. The JCB 150t has working tracks, lifting and tilting forks. The Brouwer 1576 has a working 2 cylinder motor and working steering. The harvesting arm features a high speed cutting blade, and a timed blade that cuts the sod pieces to length, and a conveyor to move the sod up to the back pallet. Finally, the pallet holder can be dropped to let the full sod pallet off the back. 13. Hi all! Here is my latest MOC, it's a custom Peterbilt 379 semi truck. Done to minifig scale in 7 wide. Some features are: Stretched frame, blacked out accents, slammed, and a shorty cab! 14. Hi everybody. I build another MOC in the last days and wanted to share the result with you. Is is nothing special, but I like it. The whole truck is exactly 100 cm long (trailer is 66 cm). The truck is motorized with power functions, it has one XL motor for driving and one M motor for steering. For a better steering I have attached a worm gear. It seems, that I only build log trucks :-) Enjoy the pictures and let me know, what you think...
  15. Hello all! This is not my latest creation, but I thought I'd share it anyhow. I built this late 2011 but never got around to post it here (until now) This fall I scrapped most of this and used some in another military MIOC that I hopefully will post soon. This build just took a turn of it self and was not what I wanted to build form the beginning. ( I was going to build a civilan truck but had my tan brick's in the living room.) It ended up as a modern version of a Katyusha but with missiles instead of rockets. At the time I built it i was fairly pleased with it. Now I look at it as a reminder that I have improved my MOCs by listening to other Moc'ers creative feedback and and actually building not only browsing the forums I present to You the Missile launcher "Version B" its features six missiles fired from a low heat emitting tube. It has its own radar (with IFF), long rage radio link and also a optical raised view port (complete with IR / low visibility capacity) Front view Top down Driver cab, with blast prof front window, risible radar and long range antenna. Six pack full off BOOM Front with winch, and a view port (can be linked to HUD helmet.(nice to have if parked behind a shelter or behind a crest or driving in complete darkness). Thank You for watching! (Inspirational credits goes to Superkalle and thanks to AntonYmer for taking the pictures)

    [MOC] Route 66

And here it is... Finally! I have the joy and honour to present you my last work. The legendary Route 66 connecting Chocago and Los Angeles, traversing wild deserts of Arizona. I tried to include everything that makes the US American - a bar, gas station, typical truck and Harley motorcyclits. Okay, enough words. Let's watch the pics: Some more photos will come as soon as Brickshelf staff removes all the naked women pics out of my gallery. And just as a fun-fact. It's actually the biggest MOC so far and te first attempt to build cars. So now I can finally get to do something else... Yay! Have a nice journey!
  17. hello, hello! i'm currently working on a new trial truck. it features: -Tandem axles on the rear axle. - Articulated steering. - 1x NXT motor for propultion. - 1x L-motor for steering. - 1x Battery box. Now, here are some pictures of the work in progress: And to top it off: Hope you like it :P
  18. I've checked the-blueprints.com and was unable to find blueprints for this truck. Bedford has been out of business for a long time, so I can't download technical data sheets, and there appear to be no electronic copies of manuals for the truck(s) available online. Does anyone know where I might find blueprints, or at least some dimensions (tire size, wheelbase) and basic information (suspension type, gearbox, etc.)? Thank you!
  19. Hey everybody. I am new to this forum respectively this is my 1st post after a while of only reading. As my favourite set is the 9397 logging truck I did a few modification and I built a trailer for it. As you can see on the pictures I modified the logging truck with double wheels and also did some enhancements on the crane. With this mods the crane has a better playability and can be almost fully positioned behind the cabin. For that I replaced the small actuator with a big one. Also I did some mods only for cosmetic reasons, e.g. I replaced the original grey wheel rims on the truck with silver wheel rims (out of the 8285 set). After that was done I thought about building a trailer for my truck. You can see the result on the pictures, let my know what you think. I used almost the same chassis as used for the original 9397 truck. All axles have doubles wheels and the first axles can rotate. So what I now need is definitely more wood :-)
  20. I saw this cool, modular '57 Chevy Monster Car by Paul Boratko on YouTube -- it looks like a mini 1957 Chevy done in Lego Technic style! He has a goal to design more bodies that can work with the same Monster chassis. Full description on MOCpages: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/368561 . Pictures on Brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=533032
  21. Good day, I'm new here at Eurobricks, but I've been building with technic for a couple of years now. Here is a preview of my latest moc that I've been working on. Once I complete it I will post a video and more pictures. If you want to see other mocs I've built in the past they are mostly here. http://www.youtube.com/user/landonsnxtnstuff Oh yeah... I'm not really a huge fan of ford, but nobody else has really built this truck so I thought I would give it a shot. Four Speed Gearbox! (controlled by 2 pf large motors, and driven by 2 NXT motors) Realistic Pneumatic power steering. And last of all a cool little ford emblem I came up with.
  22. Hello everyone! This is my newest lego creation, the tow truck from Johnny English. The truck is completely remote controlled. It has six functions, but only four motors. Two L motors and one M motor drive the functions, and one M motor drives the gearbox. At first you can control the steering, the driving and the outriggers, after using the gearbox the crane’s rotation, the height and the length. The truck is 47 cm long and 15 cm wide and very heavy and crammed with gears, motors, gears, axles, beams and gears... I made a funny video, which shows how the truck works (with real speed), but has a story, too! :D You can find more pictures and a description about the crane on my mocpage: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/365406 Thanks for watching!
  23. Finally, as the title says, felt like it was time. But I think it was tired of hide in the big mess on the table. It's more like a version 0.5 in the pictures, but have improved it some. I will need to improve it in time, but its a start for now. Sorry I'm lazy and didn't resize them so I could put some in the post. They are just teasers. Don't want to show to much yet. And here they are!
  24. Hello Eurobricks members! Today I would like to show you my mobile crane. I didn`t know, that mobile crane is very difficult model to build. I had about 3 months a chassis to my mobile crane, but I spent a lot of time to bulid a tower to this crane. I am glad that I managed to finish my model before the official release of a new set 42009. My mobile crane is full remoted control Specifications of mobile crane: Length: 57 cm Width:19 cm / with the outriggers 33 cm Height: 25 cm / after lifting boom 58 cm / after extension boom 84 cm Length of boom 46 cm / after extension 74 cm Weight: 3130 grams Power Functions: 7 x PF M motor 1 x PF XL motor 4 x PF IR receiver 3 x PF IR remote control 2 x PF battery box Functions: drive for 4 wheels steering outriggiers rotation 360 degrees Functions of tower: lifting boom extension boom, 2 sections winch operator`s cab Lifting weights: BS Gallery Lego site
