    [MOC] Sound Wave

HI, this is the new creation of my Transformer Series. I just use around 10 days to create it. I also created the cassette and the "cassette eagle". Hope you like it.

    [MOC] LEGO Beast Wars Dinobot

Wrapping up my latest MOC, Beast Wars Dinobot. This one is a commission piece requested by a fellow Transformers fan, based on this guy below: Since I prefer to build LEGO TF inspired from G1 Transformers series (mostly cars or mechanical-looking beasts/animals), this MOC is a slightly different ballgame since the mode is organic-looking. I'm glad I got enough right parts in brown and similar tones to pull this through. One of the advantages of building LEGO Transformers with beast mode is that the robot arms literally form themselves without complex transformation ... like this Dinobot (or G1 Grimlock) where the dino legs become the robot arms easily.. The raptor arms were the final components I built. Without knowing how they will blend in, in robot mode, I'm suprised they turn out to be one of my favorite design techniques in this MOC (besides the raptor head which took me a while to built). The original BW Dinobot toy is pretty simple actually so its not hard to improvise upon it. But I dislike partsforming in any form (huge chunk of tail becomes weapons, duh). I took BOTH liberties in replicating the tail-weapon thingy (its a commission piece anyway.. cannot detract too much from what's expected by the client) , and also continue my no-partsforming policy in designing (the tail can remain there in beast mode until it end up on the back of the robot mode when done transforming). Attempt to fulfil the latter compounded in extra 1 week of building efforts. I build the raptor arms without considering how they will blend into the robot mode. To my suprise... they blended/tucked in perfectly without any form of redesigning. How I wish the back could be the front/chest instead compared to a raptor head .. but this is a commission piece.. so I gotta stay true to the original BW Dinobot toy =) Without dismantling the raptor tail , transformation to robot mode will cause the tail to end up at the back , facing up. Dinobot once auditioned for 'V' but was rejected due to poor range (he don't have a human /Pretender mode) Visit my blog in my signature to view the transformation sequence and even more photos of this guy. =)
  4. Inferno is an Autobot from G1 Transformers Cartoon series back in the 80s and he transforms into a fire truck . Same like most of my LEGO Transformers MOCs from recent years, Inferno is fairly articulated /posable, and transforms without parts detachment and reattachment. Specimen 1: the original Inferno Actually Inferno was never in my to-build list. But recently I was building a non-transformer™ transforming mech called Towmecha and noticed how the design can be adapted for Inferno easily as the cab-as-robot-chest transformation are similar. And then there's 4 LEGO ladders lying about (courtesy of official LEGO auto transporter set, I specifically bought to complement LEGO Ultra Magnus photoshoots) OK back to Inferno. The most fun part came from building the back of the vehicle to form the iconic legs and "rollerskate feet". As someone who hates chunky kibble, I can only design a slimmer version of the rotating ladder component (and it no longer conceal the head like in he original toy). A smaller back kibble means he's more stable when posed and won't topple over. These wing nozzles are sourced from LEGO Chima Eagle set. No real animals are harmed in the making of this bot. Vehicle without and with nozzles attached at the side. Notice the balljoint used. Comparison with my previous MOC, Towmecha Some Trivia for those who loves to read =) In Towmecha, the cab conceals the small robot head , so the roof is partially grey. For Inferno, there is alot of clearance for me to obfuscate a decently sized robot head at the back of the cab. This leaves the roof partially hollow. So I have to implement the hinged roof flaps to cover that up. These flaps will become shoulder pads in robot mode. I've been looking high and low for the "lifebuoy" parts from my inventory to mimic the hoses on the side of the truck (like in the original toy) but failed. (I'm not even sure I have 2 of them at all). The next best thing would be some printed tiles and a "steering wheel" I guess. After referring to google photos of various real fire engines, I almost applied yellow stripes running across the truck cab but given up on this idea. (Real Inferno don't have yellow stripes). The nozzles on the ladder tip started off as VERY big and complicated looking. But when I noticed how awkward it is when dangling at the back of robot mode, I simplified it to what you see currently. ROBOT MODE And finally..... a customary wacky shot to end my post =) For a complete set of photos of this MOC ,visit my blog entry below. http://alanyuppie.bl...hicle-mode.html

    Custom Kre-O Decals

After a discussion with LuxorV and Dr Leg O'Brick, We came to a conclusion that Community was the best place to put this thread. Here Kre-O decals will be produced so that you can customize your Kreons to your heart's content. Kre-O themes are as followed Star Trek Transformers G.I Joe Battleship Dungeons and Dragons Cityville Invasion Decals will be made from that list of themes. Here are some I made earlier General Trelane (Retired) Harry Mudd These decals were inspired by Star Trek: The Original Series Kre-O decals are the same size as Lego decals at width, but are slightly shorter at the length I look forward to seeing what you can come up with, - END OF LINE -

    Bumblebee: Transformer (Hornet Mode)

"Transformers! More than meets the eye." Here is our latest moc, a depiction of Bumblebee and his transformation into hornet mode. Hornet Mode: And of course, we have to include a video of it transforming... :) https://www.flickr.com/photos/legocy/13970439588/in/photostream/ Thanks for reading!
  7. Dear TRANSFORMERS fan, as i like calling my self since 30 years now, here you´ll find a collection of new LEGO and KREO TRANSFORMERS fan creations and design projects. Most of them will be as true to the orignal G1 (Generation 1) toys as possible, some will have own interpretations and transforming features. Since KREO started doing their business i am very happy with the headmolds and the chance to finalize some characters to the maximum. [MOC] Bumblebee

Hello everyone. The model was based on a small competition - you had to make a character from the movie/game/cartoon. I chose the Bumblebee from Transformers. Sam, Mikaela and Bumblebee Original image He does not transform ... I know it's not cool. And it looks smaller than the original. But I like it anyway. Thanks for watching.

    Ratchet (DOTM)

Thanks to prateek for some inspiration: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=81238 I tried something new with the chassis, it's just two big 1x16 technic beams, but I spaced them so there's a 5-stud wide gap between them instead of 4-wide. This helps widen the track (distance between tires on the same axle) while still keeping the body itself 8-wide. Got lazy so it isn't finished, looks good so far.
