    Star wars Moc opinion

Hello eurobricks! Im building a moc with an AT-AT. I have a problem though. Im stuck between 2 models to chose, Im wondering if anybody has done an interior for the model below, also i have compared both and the one made by brickplumber is higher. My criterias are: Has to be realistic (size, details) EDIT: The only problem with the last model are where the legs and armored part connect, is it possible to take the hips from the first model and add to the other one? Thanks!

    LEGO Geonosian Arena MOC

This is my rendition of the Geonosian Arena from STAR WARS Attack Of The Clones. This has always been one of LEGO's most glaring omissions from the Star Wars line, hence why I decided to test out this MOC. OK, it's not excessively massive or complicated, but I just think it makes a neat little playset. Comment your opinions. Also don't forget to check out my LEGO IDEAS page for more information on this, and please support! :) from there you can read all about the design plan, the history, and also see any other photos of the MOC. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/158217
  3. This had me thinking when I watched the Day of the Departed Ninjago special. Lego has a lot of original characters with 4 arms. Be it Samukai Garmadon and Kozu from Ninjago. Skull Slicer from Bionicle gen 2. And don't get me started on the several 4 armed villains from hero factory. Star Wars sets have some 4 armed characters but that's not cause of lego but the source material But the question is why does Lego like this idea?

    MOC: Starkiller Base Forest Duel

I have created a MOC of the iconic forest duel on Starkiller base from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This is a freebuild, so not everything is perfect and there should definetly be more trees but I think it came out nicely nonetheless. Now, my favorite part of the moc and why it took me so long to create. Video : https://www.flickr.com/photos/104099903@N07/29322290790/in/dateposted-public/ Thank you for viewing! Questions, comments, criticisms welcome.
  7. Hi guys, so I have finished another micro moc landscape. This time its of one of my favourite scenes from The Force Awakens. The crashed Star Destroyer is such an iconic image from not only the film but the trailers as well that I just had to make it in lego form. I am really pleased with Rey's speeder. I didnt think I would be able to build it at this scale but actually I think this is a pretty good representation. At only eight pieces I dont think its going to get any smaller either! (I did have one version with one less stud at the back but it looked too blocky) The star destroyer is a slight variation on a polybag release with a few tweaks. I was going to design my own from scratch but actually once I built this I felt the look, size and dimensions were pretty much there and just needed a few extra bits added. Overall I am really pleased with this build but as always I would love to hear your feedback and advice.
  8. Hi guys, I have just finished another micro landscape in time for the Battlefront Death Star DLC. I wanted to do something different from some of the other trench run mocs I have seen and so I chose the moment Han comes to Luke's rescue and shoots down one of the tie fighters. I really like the drama in this scene and Im really happy with the way it has turned out. The inspiration for Luke's Xwing and Vader's tie came from a post by 'BEAVeR' (http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=84301) however I really wanted to get R2 in this scene and so instead of a 1x2 white tile for the nose I went for a 1x1 and added a 1x1 blue stud to represent R2 behind the cockpit. Thanks goes to 'PRAITER YED' for the idea of using knifes as the wings cannons - I think they look really effective. Originally I used BEAVeR's design for Vaders Tie but it would've meant having to paint the shields black, which I wanted to avoid and also I didn't think it looked menacing enough so I simply turned the Tie fighters wings on their side. I think Vader's Tie has a real presence in this piece now and looks like the dangerous ship that it is! Finally for the Tie's cockpits I used an Arkenstone piece from The Hobbit sets, which almost looks as though it was specially designed for micro ties! I am really happy with this MOC and would love to get your opinions and as always any advice going forward for future MOCs! (Also would anyone be interested in seeing the design process? I have some pictures of various stages of the builds that people might find interesting?)
  9. Hi there guys, so I have finished another micro lansdcape moc. This time its the forest moon of Endor. I have tried to keep everything on a 16x16 base in keeping with my other micro landscapes. Does it look too packed though? I have been inspired by a few mocs already out there (2muchcaffine and sarah von noppenquader) but added a few elements of my own. I have built my shuttle in 'flight mode' as if it is taking off from the platform (with Luke and Vader on board!) However the wings do fold down and it fits onto the platform if I wanted to. I just prefer the composition of the piece with the shuttle higher up. This was actually a lot trickier than I thought it would be and this micro moc has gone through a lot of rebuilds to get it to a stage that I am happy with. Anyway as always would be great to know your thoughts and any advice, thanks!
  10. Hi guys, so I had a few spare parts left over from my Hoth Micro Moc so decided to put them to good use! Hope you like!
  11. Hey guys, so I really enjoyed making my first micro landscape MOC (Jakku) so I decided to make a really iconic scene from the original trilogy and decided to make a Battle of Hoth MOC on a 16x16 plate. I tried to get all the iconic parts from the film into the MOC. Inspiration from a few various sources and a few twists of my own! The one thing I am aware of is that the snow speeder is completely out of proportion with the scene however I tried to make smaller models and they just didnt look right. Therefore I have tried to give the illusion that the speeder is flying high up above the battle. Im really pleased with how this MOC has turned out and would be great to hear any feedback or advice you guys might have. ps if anyone wants instructions for any of the elements I am more than happy to send across what I have.
  12. Hey everyone, so while I am waiting for a big order from Bricklink to start my next large scale MOC I thought I would kill the time by building a little micro landscape of Jakku, specifically Niima Outpost. Its a very simple little MOC, only 16x16 and its actually based on the loading screens from Lego: The Force Awakens on the PS4 (for those of you who have played it you might recognise it?) I really enjoyed making this little model and I am quite tempted to do similar scenes for all the famous locations of the entire sage (any suggestions welcome!) Anyway as always be great to know your thoughts!
  13. Hi there guys, this is my first post and I am sharing with you my first ever MOC! I would love to know your thoughts as well as any tips, advice or guidelines to help me with future builds. The courtyard is a two set build of the official 'Battle on Takodana' set and can actually slide out from the front as its own piece. The forest to the side of the castle (representing where Kylo Ren confronts Rey for the first time) is also its own piece and can slide out if you want to use it as a separate element. The main tower lifts off as does the entire roof section on the left hand side revealing more tables, patrons and the performance area for the band. The turret on the right side is hinged and hidden inside is a bluetooth speaker that plays 'Jabba Flow' when its turned on. I have included the room where Rey finds Luke's lightsaber. To access the room there is a vertical sliding door and the roof piece lifts off too. To populate the Castle I have mixed and matched a few of my favourite characters from the Star Wars universe, some of which are not exactly movie accurate but fun anyway, such as Hera and Sabine from 'Rebels' recruiting new members to join their crew. Greedo in the back hoping to capture another bounty and lando enjoying a drink with Figrin D'an. As for the new characters I have custom made the Crimson Corsair and GA97 (although thats really just 21B with a new paint job!) Bazine Netal... And Maz's band (including the fender guitar Sudswater Dillifay Glon is playing) Finally I added some more plants and water as a bit of detailing. Overall I have tried to include as many elements from the film as possible whilst keeping some fun elements within the MOC. I have also used a mix of bricks and colours as I was trying to give the impression that the castle is very old and has been patched up over hundreds of years...hope that comes across and it doesnt just look messy?! Like I say this was my first ever MOC however now I have well and truly got the building bug it wont be the last! Hope you enjoy!

    LEGO Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters gets a LEGO movie makeover! Lots of brickbuilt effects. enjoy!
  15. Hi, So, obviously it is not too late to start collecting Lego. I'm over 40 now, but am picking up set after set or so it seems. I am, however, not new to Lego. Being born in the mid-seventies I got my first sets about -76 or -77. I remember, for instance, 928-1, which I owned among many other sets. From those years and on to about mid or late eighties I had a steadily growing collection of Lego. Mostly space and techic. Then other things got more interesting and to my horrror my parents gave away all lego later on, without even asking. I have still not forgiven them for that ;) Fast forward to 2000. I freezed in front of the quite new UCS X-wing 7191 when getting Christmas presents for my GF's daughter. Ended up getting the set in christmas present myself. Best Christmas ever, since childhood! I promptly bought the UCS TIE Interceptor and they've been on display at home or at work ever since! Then, last fall, something happened and I started to actually buy sets. Sets I have looked at but always thought 'Hey, I'm grown up now, the moment has passed' or 'I do have my two UCS, that should do it'. It started innocently with a small set and over a year I have increased my collection to about 30+ sets. I am no rich and am in no rush. I just realize that it's never too late to get those sets that I wanted secretly. My issue is that I have no space for my sets and really, I need to consider price too having kids of my own now and everything that comes with that. But every now and then I can spend a few on a set. Do I build MOC's? Sometimes, I add a pic of something I did some year ago just for the fun of it. A small tribute to the Youtuber AgentJayZ that works with jet engines. Not as much as an act of a fan, I sorted some of the Lego I managed to salvage from my childhood and started to build randomly. :) My interest in Lego seems to be focused on Classic Star Wars, UCS and the more advanced vehicles like the VW Camper, Mini etc. I like vehicles, in short. Real and fiction. I've added my current collection to brick brickset (http://brickset.com/sets/ownedby-jemakrol) and rebrickable (http://rebrickable.com/profile/jemakrol - not public yet though) and now I ended up here as a result of searching for info about the new 10252 Beetle. Thanks for the attention, and happy building / collecting folks!
  16. This ship is one of my favourite ships from Star Wars, it's the first ship you'll ever see while watching the saga! It's 292 pieces and comes with 4 stickers on the front area. The escape pod below the cockpit will detach, and the landing gear can be tilted up or down. Overall it's quite a beautiful ship! Brick Shenanigans - Star Wars

Brick Shenanigans - Star Wars Hello everyone over at Eurobricks! For the past few weeks, I've been working on a solo man stopmotion animation project based upon Star Wars. What inspired me to do this genre (comedy) was the Robot Chicken series of Star Wars episodes which made me want to see if it could be done in Lego form. I hope you like this episode, I plan to do more but in different themes in the future (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones etc). Thanks for taking time to watch the video, if you like what you see, feel free to subscribe. We have more exciting projects to come! Feel free to give your opinions below. P.s. Greenscreen was planned for this video, although a few mistakes prevented this from happening. *NOTE - Can't seem to get the video to display in the post, but rather only in link form.
  18. Following the destruction of the Death Star, the newly commissioned Captain Solo lead a group of Rebels to a remote location on Ord Mantell. The people of this planet had been locked in a gruesome civil war for years. Unknown to most, the Empire operated a covert facility on the planet for gathering resources and information on everything it could. Following their return to the planet Yavin 4, the rebels were informed of this facility by astromech droid R2-D2 who uncovered the plans while on board the Death Star. With the alliance preparing to withdraw from Yavin 4 and relocate to the planet Hoth, resources and man power were at an all time low. General Rieekan tasked Han Solo with getting a group of rebels together to land on Ord Mantell and dispose of this facility. Young Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, trusted companion Chewbacca, and the dynamic duo of R2-D2 set out with Han Solo to destroy the facility. After being discovered inside the facility, the Imperials scrambled to take out the rebels before they could destroy their Refinery. The Storm Troopers were to be expected, but Han was caught off guard by the bounty hunters who were coming after him with a vengeance. After narrowly escaping with his life, he is forced to think long and hard about his future and what he intends to do about his bounty. Our heroes sneaking into the facility The alerted enemy The Ensuing Battle (Edited Picture) The bounty hunter(s) The empty facility The lighting The Behind the Scenes So this is my larger entry. When I posted about the smaller one, I commented saying I was low on time due to travel. That is entirely true, but part of that was also building the bigger entry as well haha. I read that there is a dark horse comic version of this in which a Bounty Hunter never seen on screen confronts Han. I decided to take my own spin on this with placing Fett and IG-88 in the build. All in all, built on a 48x48 Base Plate. The glass tunnel bridge was my initial idea for what this would look like and then worked from there. I decided to go with white as my main color scheme mainly because my Grey stock is being used towards another MOC right now (Ninja Turtles). I am pretty happy with how this turned out, I hope you all enjoyed it. I am of course welcoming of all comments and criticisms. I love the feedback. Thank you to those putting on this contest. Win or lose, these contests are a great way to generate ideas and get people's gears turning. The concept of this contest is great and opens up so many possibilities for others. I look forward to seeing others builds. Link to my Flickr Stream for HiRes photos and other builds. https://www.flickr.com/gp/132410925@N08/8rY0K6

    Luke Skywalker Lightsabre

Hi all, This is my Luke Skywalker lightsabre project: the copy of lightsabre used in StarWars ep.VI ( my favourite episode of the series ). I published this in Lego ideas with two version of the stand: white/tan and black/light green: this is my favourite version. I made it with LDD and rendered with blurender so i don't know if this is the right place where to post. I hope you Like it:

    [BL] Gold 1 - Rebel Snowspeeder 10129

Good evening, when bricklinking the rebel snowspeeder in 2016 you come across with ridiculous part prices for the canopy and the orange parts. I finished it a few weeks ago white - old gray - old dark gray - yellow and a mild colour mix with light bluish gray especially for the technic pin connectors. Different to TLG Model is also a 360degree display stand which allows to show it different angles and different angles of inclination For the canopy i used light-blue glasses all over, yesterday i ordered some different trans black parts for the front. From what i see the best substitution for the windshield is part: 72475 Windscreen 3 x 4 x 4 Inverted this is imho the only canopy in form and dimension which would and be a good substitute. But what about the roof hinge, so far i use a white one, it could be decorated with "trans-black tiles 1x2" or and this is what i decided, i use 2x tile hinge part: 30350c Tile, Modified 2 x 3 with 2 Clips in trans-black colour I´m open for any recommendations.
