  1. So I've been working on this on and off for the past 7 years. I wanted to have the Eta-2's to go along with my Delta-7B's. Initially my design was heavily based on Gunner's, which I had seen on this forum. The size was very close to minifig scale, and it served as a good starting point. However I ended up unsatisfied with my result. Four years later after having worked on my Ghost, I took another stab at it and started to make a bit more headway. I focused more and more on correcting my shaping and overall design. By the end of last year I had finalized a design that I was pretty happy with, the only drawback being the lack of 29119 & 29120 in yellow. Thankfully they came out with the introduction of the 76897 Audi. Earlier this month I took another look at my design, and while I did still like it, I felt it could use some final tweaks. And by simply changing the mandibles I found a new love for the design of this ship. So much so that I went ahead and updated my version for Ahsoka, and did up all the other versions from the movies. So here we go; My design progress. Anakin's Eta-2 from the Clone Wars, with s-foils open and closed. Some additional views. The cockpit interior and under the s-foils (showing the hole through the wing). The usual size comparison to my Delta-7B. Ahsoka's Eta-2 from the Clone Wars, with s-foils open and closed. Some additional views. And now the designs seen in Revenge of the Sith. Anakin's Yellow Eta-2. With a comparison to the new 2020 75281 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor. Anakin's Green Eta-2. Obi Wan's Red Eta-2. And finally Obi Wan's Blue Eta-2. As a final note, all of these are buildable except for Anakin's green Eta-2 (There are several pieces unavailable in Dark Green and some in Dark Bluish Grey). I have Ahsoka's test built in mostly the correct colours, I've placed a Bricklink order to get the pieces I need to finish both hers and Anakin's CW Eta-2. Once I have them completed I'll take some photos and add them here. As always, enjoy.
  2. *This entry has earned 3 XP* Family They trekked through the jungle of Kowak near a settlement , collecting intel . Garek could hear cry’s and screams through a bush and went to investigate. There he saw a 17 year old girl ( who looked a bit small )crying into a small pond while being stared at by a turtle . “What is wrong?” Villo asked dropping his rifle onto the mud behind him. Their was no response , only silence as she glared into the reflective water . “My father was a part of the republic military” he went “and I have been part of the imperial special forces since I was young, however I have not seen a child cry on such a beautiful day.” “My parents were murdered by rebels in the city!” She yelled “I’m alone!” Villo held up a medal that he was given when he first joined the Academy and place it into her hand “you will have a family with the empire” he reassured her. She looked at him as he stood up “can I come it’s you?” She asked Villo turned around to face her with an eye brow raised “are you sure?” He remarked “I don’t even know your name” The girl smiled and laughed for a second “I’m Lyra , I would like to join your empire please!” She said. ———————————————————————————————————————— This post was built to set up my Factions 2.0 character plot

That means only one thing, we have to get rid of the enemy. Cpt. Lemrik's log, continued: I, accompanied by two veteran deathtroopers was deployed near a small settlement, that served as a base operations for the local resistance. Our intel suggested that a valuable commander is present. And the intel was not wrong. I have given the order to attack. Some time later... Cpt. Lemrik: ,,Miss Jandi. It is nice to finally meet you. I see that your plan didn't work out as planned..." Jandi: ,,You bastard! You'll pay for this!" *Cpt. Lemrik turns to one of his troops* Cpt. Lemrik: ,,Very well. Trooper, contact the commander, that we captured our target." Dt-732: ,,Yes sir!" /I'm quite happy with how this turned out, c&c welcomed as always/ A few extra shots bellow. Cpt. Lemrik sneaking on the enemy... Death from the shadows... This one won't be going anywhere anytime soon...

  7. *This entry has earned 8 XP* After running into a few minor complications, we had successfully infiltrated the separatist's main facility, located in the northern hemisphere of the currently battle-heavy planet. This was originally used as a mining facility before the Seps took over it, so they had easy access to areas all over the planet, thanks to the many delivery rails than ran throughout, this we realised is what gave them the advantage over the course of time they were there, although rather than transporting minerals, they were transporting weaponry and battle droids to different locations that provided them will the strategical advantages, such as launching surprise attacks on outposts we had previously conquered. We had just entered the cargo storage when a huge explosion appeared overhead, looking onwards, we saw Nemodian's and battle droids of all variants approaching our position, this was going to be a tough one.
  8. *This entry has earned 10 XP (x2 LTC Bonus Applied)* Mercenary tanks encroach on the city of Harnaidan! Pentastar Alignment gunships take flight over Muunilinst's capital, their engines thrumming as they dive, their beam weapons slicing through the enemy. The ships cast dashing shadows over the fleeing mercenaries below, who run to put distance between themselves and the burning hulks of their armor. The ones who survive must regroup and rethink their strategy: Harnaidan had become a citadel of Alignment protection, and breaching the metropolis was no small thing. As persistent as they were, the Alignment's defense stood ironclad. Thanks for looking!

    Modified UCS AT ST

OK so I wouldn't call this an moc its more a this lego kits crap I'm stripping it back and starting again. I've always been disappointed in the UCS AT-ST because its so lacking in detail and completely wrong. Having aspergers it drove me crazy having a 2 tone grey scheme and no detail on the waist so I went to work scrapping the legs and waist and modifying the waist. I sat with my Legacy AT-ST, bandai 1:48 scale model and the few pics I could find and decided to redesign what lego created into what lego should have created. In the great scheme of things its nothing amazing but the turrets were all wrong which I've tried to correct, the legs were completely wrong so I've treaked them and I scrapped the opening hatch which served no purpose and added more detail wherever I can. I'm still not happy with the neck so that will eventually change and I have got the ball joint parts ready to make the legs fully moveable but it will mean creating a stand. Hope you like what you see and any suggestions on further improvements will be happily received 20210609_155456 | Steve Downs | Flickr 20210609_155450 | Steve Downs | Flickr 20210609_155501 | Steve Downs | Flickr 20210609_155507 | Steve Downs | Flickr 20210609_155523 | Modded UCS AT ST | Steve Downs | Flickr
  10. *This entry has earned 3 XP* Previously... It was silent in the temple caverns. Four days had passed since Bey'wan, Fenree Kel, and 6 soldiers from Hunter Team had left, in secret, on a mission to infiltrate the Imperial trench. The days on Ilum, hiding in the hidden temples, were long. The pilgrims and Freedom Fighters sheltering together felt the hours stretch on. Four long days, and there had been no word. They had sent probe droids, but there was nothing to learn, no trace to be found. Ever since they had first been reported missing, Admiral Yima knew where they had gone, and he knew, in his spirit, what had happened. The trench had swallowed them. He wished it hadn't happened like this, on this disgraced planet, following 12 weeks of depression and strife. He wished they had spoken before he had left, just to see something in his friend's eyes besides distrust. Yima imagined the person Bey'wan could have become: an old Bothan, gray streaking his fur—a respected, trusted leader, a brilliant mind, endlessly intelligent and insightful. He could've taken over as leader, just a few years down the line. But that would never happen now. In the old stories, death came when the person was ready. It was never quite a surprise. They always had their affairs in order, nothing important left to give. It was always somehow the right time. Even the most violent deaths were somehow peaceful in their purpose. But Yima still needed Bey'wan, right now more than he ever had. It physically hurt that he could not turn to rely on his data master, ever capable, ever ready. He missed his stiff manner, his awkward sense of humor, his earnest desire to see the oppressed free. He listened quietly to the wind that whistled past. He let himself hope for a rare connection beyond the grave, a voice, a vision, anything from Bey'wan to offer comfort, guidance, or wisdom. But he stared and strained and there was nothing, only the wind. Emptiness settled on him. Then came rage. The cavern walls of the control center below echoed with a cacophony of voices. He imagined getting justice. All out war, a bombardment from the fleet. They could make it costly for the Empire. They could add hundreds of corpses to the pile. He heard footsteps behind him, and turned. There was Noora, a steaming cup in her hand. She managed a kind of wretched smile. "I thought you might want some tea." "Oh. Thank you, Noora." Yima accepted it politely, but for once, did not feel in the mood for tea. "That is very kind." Nora noticed that he did not drink. "Admiral, things are heating up downstairs. The Fighters' are furious." "I understand how they feel," replied Yima, his eyes hooded and his expression dim. He imagined how many dead Stormtroopers they might make before they would eventually be destroyed by the overwhelming opposition. They could stay here and keep hunting them like prey for years. "You're not thinking of...striking back?" Yima avoided her gaze. "Are you not?" Her answer was already considered. "...No, Admiral. Why throw away more lives? In a way...it wasn't the Empire that killed Bey'wan, it was this planet. Do you know what I mean?" Yima did. Chastened, he stared into the dark depths of the cup of tea. "You do not want justice against his murderers?" He said softly, an edge to his voice. "And what of that he died for? Should we abandon that, too?" Noora stared at him. The Admiral wasn't thinking clearly. That had never happened before, not as long as Noora had worked with him. It scared her. She understood what was happening. She had worked closely with Bey'wan ever since she'd been promoted to command crew, he was--had been--a good friend, and she felt the pain of grief too, but she was beginning to feel like the only person who hadn't gone mad. And now even the Admiral, normally so wise, was being seduced by thoughts of revenge. The soul of the Freedom Fighters teetered on a precipice. "If you force the Fighters to stay here, they'll do whatever you say," she said, adrenaline shaking her voice. "They love you, they'll follow whatever order you give them. And how you feel is how they'll feel. And if you're angry, and you let them be angry, and we all make decisions driven by our anger, then...every one of us will die on this force-forsaken world." Finally, Yima looked at her. She looked angry, desperate. His face pulled in confusion, his thoughts were clouded. "Please, Admiral...think about the people we have left." With her words, Yima suddenly saw the future as if it was happening. The current path was a spiral. The pilgrims would try to escape too late. Families would be incinerated and become fuel for the flames of the Fighters' hatred, and they would throw themselves against the Empire again and again until their bones broke and their spirits were snuffed out and no one would ever know. The Empire would go on: evil always does. Good does too. But people die. And that was what he served: people. If he didn't serve them now, every one of the people here would suffer for years to come, until they died in the pursuit of vengeance. Like a light through the clouds, Noora reached him. "Yes," he choked. "You're right. Oh, Noora. Thank you." A strange sob came from his throat. How close he had come. "I am a foolish old man," he said, his voice brittle. "I-I am so sorry." Tears of stress welled in Noora's eyes. She quickly nodded and wiped her face with her sleeve. "Please, make the right choice." "Yes, young one. Yes. You are right. You...you have saved me from disaster, and a shame that would poison me." Yima took a deep drink from the cup of tea, and felt its warmth flood his bones. "Will you come with me? I must speak with the others." Noora nodded. The two of them left the tower and went to save the Freedom Fighters. It took wrestling of words and spirit to bring the rest of their clan to the truth, but Yima was ready: he knew that this fight was the most important he had ever fought. His weapons were words: gentle words, truthful words, words that honored the memory of those they had lost, but did not embrace recklessness, vengeance, or a repayment of violence. Slowly, one by one, he saw reason dawn on faces in the crowd around the control center, saw anger melt away into grief, saw hope beam through rage. Slowly, the grueling work of unity was accomplished. Trust restored. And Noora felt relief crash into her like a wave, and she devolved into weeping when she saw the fever break. The faces of the Freedom Fighters looked to their leader, his face lined with age and sorrow, but lively with purpose. They looked to leadership, and—wishing he had Bey'wan beside him—the Admiral provided. It was past time for them to leave Ilum. The plan would keep everyone safe: escorts to protect the transports, a diversion bombardment from orbit. But what of Bey'wan's investigation? What of the Empire's sinister purpose? A small team of five: the remains of Hunter Team, volunteered to stay and learn more, to gather information from their hidden outpost, to try and obtain readouts of the entire planet, whereby they might discover any Imperial weaknesses. They did not have to do this, but they were determined. The ones who would leave gathered around the ones who would stay, and amidst tearful farewells a pilgrim consecrated their sacrifice. The others, Fighters and Pilgrims alike, boarded the shuttles. Final prayers were prayed, blessings spoken, fingers tracing the ancient, holy ruins that must be--at last--given up. Yima wished there was a way to preserve the planet for the future, to protect its history and significance, but it wasn't worth the lives of those in the temple. He watched the groups board their transports, and cast a final look around the Jedi's ancient monuments. Finally, he boarded himself. No lives were lost in the retreat from Ilum. Every transport made it safely away. The Peace and Quiet made the jump out of the Unknown Regions and the relief of its passengers was palpable. All of them felt the lifting of the dark spirit that had settled on them in the last weeks, and Yima immediately felt his discretion return. None of them had realized how heavy they had all felt until they had escaped. Yima only wished he had called for it sooner. A memorial service was held in the ship's community hall—quiet, mournful, appreciative. In silence, they honored the eight that had been lost and committed their lives to the Force. Yima remembered how steady Bey'wan had given them hope, with his understanding and his solutions. He remembered—soberly—how Noora had reminded him of truth and pulled him from his darkness. The old Admiral looked around through misty eyes at all the faces on the ship, and felt a surge of thankfulness for every one of them. For their endurance, for their steadfastness. For who they were. And so the Followers of the Force were saved from Ilum, and even in the mourning there was hope once more. _____________________ (Thanks for looking!)
  11. Hey guys, so yesterday I finally finished my T-6 Shuttle :-) Total part count: 3367, Dimensions 60 x 37 x 16 (cm). The partlists mainly consists of plates and tiles :D. I was former planned as Minifig-Scale, but I decided it is more important to make the circle as close as possible and by doing that I overraged the Scale a bit, so it turns out to be just "close to Minifg-Scale". The build is not very complicated, but there are a lot of plates to add, so I had hurting thumbs at the end of the testbuild :D I had a long fight with that one, the early versions had some stability issues because of the weight of the model, but integrating the stand directly into the model did the trick :-) And yes, the cockpit together with the engines is fully rotatable :-) More pictures: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmVsuDWe Attached you will find some pictures of the model, the instructions are now available at The Brick-Collective T-6 Shuttle :-) Additionally you can get a full building kit for that model by Brick Moon :-) Brick Moon: https://www.instagram.com/sebastianneuss/BrickBob: https://www.instagram.com/_brickbob_/The Brick-Collective: https://www.instagram.com/brick_collective/Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/brick-collective/

    [O19 -Svivren -TT] Captured

*Your entry has earned 8 xp* After Lieutenant Scor was captured by mandalorians, I was sent on an undercover mission to find and rescue him. He was being held hostage on the planet Svivren, near an old deserted outpost from the clone war. I disguised myself as a bounty hunter, and my transport dropped me off a mile or two away from the outpost. I walked over, and saw the mandalorians who had captured Lieutenant Scor. Scor was leaning against a few crates, a bag over his head. I had to act quick, create a diversion and then rescue Scor. But my cover couldn't be blown, it wouldn't look good for the Empire to go around taking their troops and officers back, it would make them seem desperate. I had to act quickly... https://www.instagram.com/p/CPitbwBJ0OI/
  13. *Your entry has earned 12 xp* Given the recent attacks on Muunilinst by state-sponsored mercenary forces, the Dantooine garrison of the Pentastar Patrol has been on high alert. Captain Pavay walks the local farmsteads with a few patrol troopers (both of whom forego the full stormtrooper facemask, per garrison policy). He greets the farmers amicably and makes sure everyone is doing well, answering any questions and assuaging any concerns. The Captain has been walking this track for a number of weeks now; the farmers are happy enough to see the man, who in their eyes has become something of a local sheriff. While the Pentastar Alignment is, at its core, an Imperial Remnant, there are many among its ranks who seek to create the Empire as it should have been: a strong government protective of its citizens, providing for a grateful populace with the strong arm of justice. No less authoritarian, but precise, intelligent, and benevolent, not cruel or wasteful. Pavay is one of these "visionaries," a term used distastefully by certain members of the cabinet. Whatever their opinions, the loyal citizens he protects know they have nothing to fear. MORE PHOTOS Thanks for looking!

[H16 -Endor -TT] The Last Stand

*Your entry has earned 3 xp* https://www.instagram.com/p/CIJRqZspMnC/ I remember looking up above the trees, where I saw the Death Star, The Empire's biggest weapon, explode in the sky. Years of work had just been destroyed, and we never even got to see it finished. The happy cries of the ewoks and rebels rang out, and they began to hunt us down one by one. We fought back with all our force, but it was useless, we were helpless. The rebels surrounded us, never stopping firing at us, trying to destroy us once and for all. Very few survived. - Splinter, Imperial Jumptrooper.
  15. *Your entry has earned 4 xp* It's been a while since the Battle of Hoth ended. And yet there are still a few rebels living there. The new republic has little interest in this planet, and their neglect will cost them death. Hoth returns to the Triumvirate by right, so we are going to exterminate the last forces that are hiding there. Cpt Jacen Opins - You are the last little one and I have no time to waste with you or with your rebellious friends. To flee is really a sign of cowardice, the new republic is cowardly! Did you really think you could run away to alert the new republic at the risk of your life? They won't know anything, Sergeant, kill him, he's of no use to us. And take its beacon and its access codes, the republic's files can still be valuable in case we need to infiltrate their high command. Enough talk, fire !!!!!
  16. Battle of Hoth BY RUI MIGUEL Hi everyone this is Rui Miguel and this is my entry for the Star Wars Concept Art Contest being hosted here. I recreated the scene from Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back when Luke Skywalker is piloting a Snowspeeder facing the AT-ATs during the Battle of Hoth. ART REFERENCE Once I saw the contest description all I kept thinking of was my copy of the book "Star Wars Storyboards: The Original Trilogy" I knew the concept art that I would recreate into LEGO would be inside of that Star Wars bible... And that's exactly what I did, from the pages of Empire Strikes Back I found the illustration below by Joe Johnston (if I'm not mistaken). ABOUT From one of my favourite scenes, my Batte of Hoth takes inspiration from the "Brick Sketches" developed by Chris McVeigh. I always wanted to make one and this was the perfect opportunity to make it a reality. This frame is composed by 46 x 24 studs and it also combines microscale elements. The model can also be displayed on a wall and has 3 removable micro Snowspeeders. Below are some promotional shots. Hope you like it and thank you for viewing :) For High-Resolution photos you can check my Flickr gallery here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/167106309@N03/ Contest link - https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/185377-may-the-4th-2021-star-wars-concept-art-contest/
  17. This time, I decided to try building something that I have only ever seen one other MOC of. The J-1 Semi-Autonomous Proton Cannon. This thing has a very unique shape, and some fiddly limbs. I did a fair bit of physical brick building to figure out how I could do the legs, I'm happy with what I came up with. The legs can support a reasonable amount of weight, but overall I think this thing would need a stand to help support it. Anyways, here is what I came up with. A side view. The 3mm tubing is a little funky, but given how tricky is is to bend them in Stud.io I think it is a decent approximation. A comparison to 7869, and to my Delta-7b And action shot for fun.

*Your entry has earned 13 XP* https://www.instagram.com/p/COBL3-0JDtO/ Location: Swamps of Daluuj Year: 7 ABY Mission: Find shelter, kill all in sight After the destruction of the second Death Star and the loss of the great Emperor, the Empire's power faded, leaving their troops scattered and helpless, fending for themselves. But some hope still remains, the remnants of a once great Empire gather their numbers, ready to avenge their Emperor. A small squad from the remnant group 'The Triumvirate' have fled the rebel forces, seeking refuge on the swampy planet of Daluuj... After days of endless walking, they came across two pirates, talking in a language unfamiliar to them. The pirates were standing on a landing pad, perhaps an Imperial one? Maybe there were some Imperials near by? The leader of the group, Sharp, stepped out of the shadows, revealing himself to the pirates, hoping for information. The pirates turned round quickly, pointing their guns at Sharp, but they weren't fast enough. Our sniper shot one of them, and the other sprinted towards a small platform. He was shot too. All of a sudden, a blaster fire whizzed past our heads, hitted the swamp and spraying murky water high into the air. We spotted two more pirates, one Klatooinian, the other Rodian, firing at us. We fired back, with all the strength we had, but we had no cover, and the pirates began to shoot us down, one by one...
