[MOD] Lego 21321 ISS - Upgrade with new modules - "Nauka" & "Prichal"

Real life ISS is constantly growing with new modules attached. So set #21321 has become outdated. In this video I will show how to add missing modules "Nauka" and "Prichal" to the Station and how to upgrade russian segment for better resemblance. Everything is made from extra parts from this set (and parts from one of Soyuz spacecrafts from this set) or from enough easy-to-find parts. Except for solar panels, which I used from Shuttle Discovery 10231 (But you may use the ones from newer and cheapier sets like 60227). Thanks for watching! Keep your stations safe! -
My first ever Vic Viper, in my Space Police 1 colors, dark blue, dark red, black and trans-red (see my album Space Police). Build for NoVVember 2021, in little more than 1 hour, taking pictures almost took longer, which was difficult because of the dark color scheme and reflective surface of the build, especially the cockpit.NoVVember 2021 - NCSP - Zephyr Let me know what you think.

Hi all! I've finally finished a MOC that I've work on, on and off, for years. It's a redux of the Blacktron Renegade. Here's the original: I wanted to keep the overall design pretty much the same. How did I do? I named it Betrayer because a Renegade is essentially a traitor or deserter. I thought Betrayer sounded supremely evil while being synonymous with the original name. One thing that excited me a lot was using the new yellow triangle tiles to make a brick-built Blacktron logo. And I wanted to keep the original gimmick where the command ship could detach from the front, as well as the two side ships. The command ship has hidden guns! One thing that always bugged me about the original was that after you removed the command ship, you were left with the butt-end of a space ship without anything to control it. I guess you had to pretend it was computer or AI controlled at that point. Like a robot. That gave me an idea. Why not make it transform into an actual robot? I hope you like it!

Hi everybody! I want to share my MOC that I have on the LEGO Ideas website. I grew up playing with Classic Space sets and I wanted to create something to reflect that passion. I originally designed the ship by itself, and then added the hangar deck around it. The minifigures included are based on ones I made as a kid and still have, and ones I more recently pieced together. You can find more pictures and details on my Ideas project page: https://ideas.lego.com/s/p:4c27f35704a74a76af7fb8304d14309f Looking down at the activity on the hangar deck, Base Commander Billy, a veteran from the earliest days of the Space Corp, watches as they put the finishing touches on what he hopes will be the fastest spaceship in the galaxy. He has assembled the brightest minds and engineers to create the X-942. As the prototype preps for its first flight, its pilot Kara is eager to test out its capabilities. If everything works out, she’ll be entering the X-942 into the upcoming Jupiter 5000 spaceship race. Up in the control room, Lieutenants Zack and Terra watch over everything. Edwards tunes up new engine designs in the workshop. The Space Police stand on guard, watching out for any spies or agents attempting to steal the X-942 designs or components. Along with the hangar deck, the first level has a locker room for astronaut gear and a workshop with a prototype engine and tools. The second level has a control room, the Base Commander’s office, and a catwalk overlooking the hangar deck. The X-942 is a neo-classic design with variable position wings. During flight, the wings are down at a 45-degree angle. When the ship lands, the wings move up, parallel with the ground.

Futuron - Retro Space Solar Ship [Futuron] Retro Space Solar Ship by Horlack, on Flickr ================================== The beginning/Genesis : ================================== At the beginning of September, I re-watched the old animated as X-Bomber at 43 years old ! It was my birthday this month. Don't ask me what went through my mind at the time, I don't know at all! I wanted to go back to childhood, because I have the impression of having aged. I had to straighten "the bar", lol ! Seeing these old Retro solar boats literally “blew my mind”. I never realized that a lot of anime from that era had a "strange spaceship" conception, transforming old 14-18th century ships / galleons with engines for space. Yet it was so obvious! And it was there, that suddenly, I remembered Jayce, Cobra, etc ... In short, I saw all the ships of the anime of that time scroll through my head, like a comet in front of my eyes (which booms crashing into my head). And no one had done this in Lego. At least I don't remember. In itself, the beginning of an idea or impression that smelled good, and / or had potential. It was the very beginning of the inspiration and brainstorming in my head for Lego Classic Space ! ================================== The concept : ================================== I did something unusual, non-conformism, eccentric, disconcerting and crazy at the same time. I make a double combination and double ration, animated 70-90 which it was the fashion of space ships and Lego Space Futurons 87-90. For a good Retro nostalgia I combined elements of the Azuris ship from « Message from space : galactic wars », the Cephalus ship from Star Fleet X-Bomber, Glory of the universe of Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, and the Solaris of the Mysterious cities of Gold ! 2 periods 70-90 in 1! Part #44938 bionicle shield, with a "mechanical" aspect converted into an energy capacitor. Various parts of Droids (starwars) converted in the machinery and on the outer deck. Bionicle Shield #45275 converted into deflectors, on the deck of the ship. Kind of like "Viking ship/longship" shields. Big Trident Bionicle #40339 = excellent for large boat emblems in general. I used a slope technique for the sides of the hull. For the rear canopy in the hull, I used a SNOT technique with part #30249. ================================== Physical information : ================================== - 7,082 parts for 854 lots. - 2 weeks of brainstorming, intellectual reflection or "total blank" ...: passive or empty work. - 3 to 4 weeks of active work. - 60.8 studs width, 101.8 studs length, 78.7 studs height. - 48.7 cm width, 81.5 cm length, 63 cm height. - 5.77 Kg. ================================== Global : ================================== All Futuron figures, including the green Lego City minifigure and the lesser known "Educational & Dacta" minifigures. 9 crew members, 3 teams of 3 watch members. ================================== Exterior/outside: ================================== - Solar sails with 3 intermediate lookouts. I wanted something playable and fun at the same time. I had a lot of difficulty and trial and error, because I had never done a Lego boat. I worked several times until 4am ! I often work like this: as long as the inspiration is there, I must not lose it, and I work until I no longer see the time passing. But the opposite has also happened to me several times: several times the symptom of the "blank sheet" for 1 to 3 days, without knowing how I was going to build, find inspiration, think about the logic of the construction, etc. . This feeling of "emptiness", that you feel something is happening, and you have it on the tip of your tongue, but it does not come out! Annoying and horrifying sensation ! :) The inclination of the walls gave me intellectual problems. It took a long time to build the engine room. I had to redo it at least 3-4 times. I wanted a maximum of diversity and complexity at the same time. The confined space of the hull gave me difficulties: how to integrate "likely" elements in so little volume ? I have lost my hair several times. Just those damn shower and toilet, I had to spend 3 hours each, to do, undo and redo in all the sauces. Like a little monkey who tests all combinations. Interstellar Zephyr - streamlined diesel with passenger train for space layout

The Interstellar Zephyr transports Nexus Force personnel as a very high-speed, high-security ground transport between the northern-most city of St. Nicklaus and north-pole-hugging outpost of Ice Station Odyssey, around 500 miles away. (this all takes places on the ice-bound planet of Beta Polaris, which orbits what we here call the North Star, far away from Earth.) Unlike the slower Earth trains, this Zephyr type of space-train is super-streamlined, and can go up to speeds of up to 110 MPH (135 is the loco's top possible speed) on it's special track, with super-elevated curves and long straight-a-way's over hundreds of miles, all while using Positive Train Control (PTC) on the the mostly double-track mainline, where all vehicle crossings are flyovers and switches virtually non-existent once out of St. Nicklaus city limits. This train runs along with nine other identical versions of this train (10 total trains in all) on the route with up to seven in running order on the route and at least two in the maintenance shed / in emergency backup storage at any one time. You may have noticed the train model is NOT in the original light gray "stainless steel" of the original Pioneer Zephyr on which is was (kind-of) based. The orange and white color scheme is because it's for my Nexus Force theme... to be honest, it's not even really a Zephyr that much anymore. It's more of a mix of the Pioneer Zephyr and several other concepts that began in the 1930's - '50's era, like the dome car. (To call it a hodgepodge would be accurate!) This model features three joined cars, with the power car up front, a coach, diner-dome in the middle, another coach, then the observation lounge at the rear. None of the car's roof sections come off, and their is no interior, to save on costs when this model is built in real life. The repurposed 2014 CITY Arctic logo slope on the rear of the lounge car is a missing print, as are the three dark bluish gray "donut" tiles on the loco unit. (these parts should have a engine fan / rotor print) The train uses only a few magnets to sperate the train in the middle, as having Jacobs bogies throughout with my current storage setup would have been unwise. This also leaves open the possibility for future expansion of a car or two... maybe a dome car could be in the cards somewhere down the line? (Yes, I know no shovel-nose Zephyr ever had domes... but this isn't a normal Zephyr, now is it?) You can see more details on the arctic / space base shown above in this thread in the Sci-Fi forum. Be warned, it needs to be updated with some newer pictures of stuff I designed! Thoughts on this model? EDIT 5/10/22: model completely revised and updated. EDIT #2 5/11/22 Three hundred parts found, 737 left to go on my space Zephyr. (the wrong colored window glass will be popped out an replaced when it's needed) The dome car, is not included in the totals either way as I'm still not sure it would work out to build it... even if I did make it work, I would be buying almost every single part on it. So, basically, it won't even be attempted for a while. Also, I got the shovel-nose built except for two orange slope parts. -

Hey everyone! Welcome to my latest LEGO Ideas project - a kinetic sculpture of an Orrery where the earth goes round the sun and the moon round the earth. The Moon revolves around the Earth while the earth revolves around the Sun. The mechanics are hidden nicely inside the base. I have put a lot of effort into making the model as sturdy as I can, and the motion as smooth as possible. The model was built to look as nice as possible, with a detailed, brick-built version of the Earth. Dimensions of the build: 35x18.5x28 (LxBxHcm) Pieces This model has 1200 LEGO Bricks (give or take a few). I built the model digitally to check! Aim My aim with this model was not to make a 100% accurate scientific model of an orrery, but rather to make something that looked great on display, while still being functional. I also wanted to make the design as compact so as to keep it affordable. Another important aspect of this project was the varied build experience - a combination of Technic and System bricks to create an interesting and fun build. This model would also have a very wide appeal - from space and astronomy fans to technic fans, as well as people who like collecting models for display. Hope you like this project! I was 8 years old when I got my first Lego Classic Space set LL918. I remember I spent hours with catalogs looking at LL924 and the Galaxy Explorer LL928. When I got LL928 from my grandma I was thrilled and couldn't let go. I even took it with me on holidays. At the time, due to my father's job, I was living in an a developing country in Africa, where Legos were very rare. I was gazing at the store window, nearly paralyzed and probably with a wide open mouth. I had just past my birthday and for Christmas time I would have to wait a long time. As quickly as I could I ran back home broke that piggy bank into pieces, took everything I had and ran back to the store. I still remember the feelings I had when building this spaceship and looking at every new part as if it were yesterday. A few years ago I remember seeing Wolf Leews modernized version of LL928 (and 924 and 918) in LegoIdeas and having exactly the same feelings. I tried to push it in LegoIdeas but unfortunately it did not make it to the threshold. Wolf Leews, if you see this post, thanks for sharing the instructions. I have your models in my showcase ever since. The idea of an own classic space model did not let go of me. It took me again years of thinking how to approach this topic. My problem was I wanted everything. I wanted to have a command centre, several spaceships, some robots some cool versatile and functional vehicles, a garage where the vehicles would go for repair, a habitat, a repair bay for the robots. And I wanted the antagonists as well: Blacktrons! And I wanted everybody to build up his own space station. Uff! Galaxy Explorer Commander Dropship I knew this was impossible. Then my Lego Pueblo came to mind. It was a 4in1 set proposal at LegoIdeas that you could buy multiple times and stack to each other building up your own Pueblo village. My Lego Pueblo did not make it to the threshold but if I did such a concept once, maybe I could do it again. Many months of thinking and planning what to do, which bricks to use, color scheme, how to combine classic space with Blacktron, drawing and doing research followed. Then I started building. The target was a 3in1 space creator set with three different scenarios that you could combine forming a big space centre. Each scenario should have its own theme and its own playability concept. At the same time some models of one scenario should connect to models of other scenarios, so at the end you have one big unity. I also needed a story. As I love sci-fi and astronomy this part was the easiest one for me. What came out was space station "Antares", a 3in1 space creator set, where New Classic Space searches for Legonit ressources and Blacktrons trying to steal it from them. One alternate build is the Mining Outpost, the other one is the Bot Repair Bay and one is the Galaxy Dropship. 9 Antares Classic Space3x by Giorgio Chronas, auf Flickr With the Galaxy Dropship I combined the features of the Galaxy Explorer and the Galaxy Commander and built a mashup that had its own look. Like the Galaxy Commander the dropship can be split into a space fighter and the cargo bay. Like the Commander it may hold a space lab. But it also may hold a space buggy like the Galaxy Explorer. Since the space buggy is from scenario Mining Outpost, I decided it may also hold the truck from its own scenario. Then I continued. The Galaxy Dropship may hold the trailer the fuel or plasma tanks or even a small space fighter which actually is the cockpit of the robot of scenario Bot Repair Bay. The set seems to be huge, too big, but actually it is only big when the set is acquired multiple times. As a single set it has less bricks than the biggest official LegoIdeas set. Nexus Force ALCO RS-11 diesel loco with freight train - LDD MOC (so far)

A utilitarian space / Arctic freight train for my ice-bound Nexus Force base... it may not look very spacey, though. (I tried, it's more difficult than it looks!) This MOC features: - ALCO RS-11-like four axle diesel loco - boxcar with removable top and opening doors. - Nuclear waste flask car. Try not look at the glass sections for very long! - two couple of sectioned gondolas loaded with comet / meteorite samples.... and maybe a few frozen aliens inside! - bay window caboose for nuclear flask guards and train crew This model was originally a ALCO MRS-1 (which you can see in his instructions store here) built by @SavaTheAggie, but has been so severely modified that it no longer looks like the prototype loco. So I went searching and found another ALCO locomotive, a RS-11 that looks (kind of) like my new loco. Both my MOC and the new prototype have the four wheels, and the same basic hood and cab design as the MRS-1 that preceded it. I changed out the original grille bricks at the rear for grille tiles SNOTed-in sideways for a more consistent look when compared to the roof vents. I added back in Sava's maintenance cabinets from the MRS-1, yet attached them differently using newer parts. I also shortened the frame by six studs to fix the spacing problem created by the missing two wheels. The long hood of the loco has been designated the rear. The printed Nexus Force logo (from CITY Arctic 2014) goes on the curved 2 x 2 x 2/3 slopes on the front and rear hood ends, underneath the lights. This boxcar was heavily inspired by Time Gould boxcar design from the dying days of the 9v-era, otherwise known as 2008. (You can see it and his entire vintage train it came from, here on Rebrickable for free.) The roof comes off this car type and the loading doors open up. This nuclear waste flask car is loaded and ready for delivery to a waste storage facility at an undisclosed location. These open air gondolas are loaded with icy meteorite fragments, which may or may not contain hostile alien life frozen inside! No interior on this part of the train, as it's too crowded inside due to needed SNOT-work for the bay windows. This car was originally puzzled-out from this MOC's pictures. I'm already parting out the diesel engine, but the train will have to wait. You can see more details on the arctic / space base shown above in this thread in the Sci-Fi forum. Be warned, it needs to be updated with some newer stuff I designed! Thoughts? EDITED 9/6/21: added nuclear car photo and updated the main picture. -

Quick build form last week:) The Arcadian Exploration Vessel is a large spaceship, which travels through space to discover new planets and civilizations. The spaceship has two cockpits and at the bottom a third large cabin where the rest of the crew stays. The spaceship has a large radar on top. recolored PUG-Z spaceship from LEGO Worlds game - with alien pilot mini-figure (MOC)

This model was taken from a Rebrickable MOC of the LEGO Worlds spaceship "PUG-Z" that user "TOB1 bricks" recreated here. I took the free instructions' MOC, and changed them (I removed the toilet, as it was causing problems with the roof) and altered the colors from orange, yellow, and bright light orange to a predominantly black and red model with some light / dark grays thrown in for good measure. I also modified other parts of the ship, making the radio antennas a bit shorter and adding trans-green "freeze" blasters to the ship where the forward-facing lights used to go. The rear of the ship has this 2 x 2 round symbol for the ship's owner / affiliation, along with tow small booster rockets alongside the main engine. The top opens up / out and the computer wall folds down to become a bed. (I had to take the toilet out as it wasn't playing nice with the roof in LDD.) Oh, and the landing legs fold backwards for flight. Here we see the owner of the ship (and his laser pulse rifle), who is a methane breathing reptile-like alien named Zath-ann. He wears a rebreather to properly function in oxygen-based environments and doesn't take it off in his ship because he hasn't got it converted to a methane-orientated life support system yet... it's on the to-do list though. It was the year 1979 when LEGO launched one of the sets that became among the most iconic in the AFOL world: the 497 set or better known as 928. The set was proposed with two different codes: 497 with the title of "Galaxy Explorer" and 928 with the title of "Space Cruiser and Moonbase". The Classic Space theme was launched just a year earlier in 1978 and this set became a legend because it represented the most beautiful and largest spaceship in the entire fleet. It is incredible to think of the success that this set of only 338 pieces has had if we compare it to those on sale today, but in those days we were children who dreamed of having this box and our best memories are linked to it. In '79 I was just 5 years old and I have never been able to have this box, too expensive for my parents, but I have always dreamed of it looking at it in the catalogs. Finally as an adult I looked for it and managed to buy it! All this premise was used to introduce my new work: the Galaxy Explorer SDR-926! This year I am 10 years old as AFOL and I thought about making mocs that have a special meaning for me. The first of these was the desire to make a spaceship of some importance! SDR-926 wants to be a tribute to the 928 but with very different characteristics and numbers. Number 926 represents the birth of my daughter. The spaceship measures 85 x 75 x 21 cm and is made up of almost 4600 pieces! It took me 5 intense months to make it because it contains several features and functionalities in a single work. Main features and functions: 1) exploration ship removable from above with revolving lever 2) control room 3) removable panel to observe the central hall of the spaceship 4) three landing gears 5) foldable and removable wings 6) revolving laser cannons with levers 7) engines and hatch that can be opened 8 ) access ramp that can be opened with a lever 9) ground exploration vehicle with revolving radar 10) Excellent rigidity thanks to a basic structure composed of technic elements 11) disassembly of the spaceship in blocks 12) support for display with identification plate Main informations: Name: Galaxy Explorer SDR-926 Dimensions: 85 x 75 x 21 cm Parts number: 4200 pieces Number of parts with stand: 4580 pieces Minifigs: 8 Classic Space minifigs Main colors: Blue, Light Bluish Gray, Transparent Yellow Weight (spaceship only): 4370 gr Weight with stand: 4740 gr The spaceship is quite impressive if you compare it with the old LL 928, but it draws the same colors and a lot of playability, but with many more features. It is a spaceship built with care and attention to detail without forgetting an excellent sturdiness of the whole structure (made with technic blocks). For the first time I have also decided to try my hand at making the instructions that will be available in the future, as soon as I can complete the job! 1950's Astro Bot 33 and retro style Classic Space car - real world (revised) MOC builds

This Classic Space version of Build Better Bricks' Iron Giant with the head of the previous @hachiroku version of the Giant's head added on. (consider it a mashup of the two Iron Giant models!) The car was also inspired by this Hachiroku build here, and was originally made by me in September 2020. I have just now revised this early 1950's car for Benny with new mudguards that cover the (enlarged) two rear wheels. I made both MOC models into CS colors (black, both "new" grays, and blue, with white for the car roof) with red and green indicator light parts (on the robot only), and two yellow / black bumblebee stripe tiles with a printed 4 x 2 slopes on the arms / car trunk lid. (They aren't shown, but have this print) The gray jumpers near the robot's waist are for power conduits, so he can be recharged without consuming (costly!) metal products via his opening mouth. Speaking of which, the mouth now can open to allow for posing... but unfortunately, it doesn't play nice with the shoulders, so the mouth must remain closed until I can figure out a better solution. Another thing that didn't work well was the rotating waist: it operated too jerkily and was hard to operate, so I removed that feature. The rear of the robot. Not sure if it's a feature, but the arms won't go down any further to the sides... I tried everything I could think of, but no dice. This is because the arms can't be removed without destroying the awesome-looking - and very intricate - torso. Looks pretty classy, right? The two doors open, but the obligatory black space seat is missing, because any more height and Benny would not fit inside. The rear has a license plate, the classic space logo, and two coverings mostly obscuring the rear wheels. As a courtesy to the driver instead of the space seat, I have included a light bluish gray upholstery for the back of the seat. I know this MOC has been out for a while, but I had a lot of fun building this model recently so I thought I'd share the video I made on it + a few pictures. This MOC was designed by Jack from BrickVault and instructions are available from his webstore. There is an issue one key step in the instructions/build to be aware of.
