Hello! This is my first post on these forums so I hope I do ok. When I was a kid I played with Lego a lot, but, for a long time it's remained a happy memory. Well, no more! Since the start of 2013 I bought various Minifigs, my girlfriend got me the Shellob LoTR set on my birthday and we recently bought the Simpson's house which we are slowly building together. I had so much fun with all that, I knew I had to treat myself, so, I got a Death Star kit to play about with! It was fun to build it following the instructions, but, I soon dismantled it to make some stuff of my own. Totally freestyling it and putting bits together without a plan, I managed to end up with this. :) It's made with just the Death Star kit as I don't have extra spares. There are a few additional Minifigs added, but that's it. So, I believe this is my first MOC for about 20 years. Don't think it will be my last! Front view of the entire moonbase. The moonbase prepares to fire. The evil Lord Doom at the helm, ready to lay waste to any unfortunates who get in his way! The sensor array scans for another target. Opening it up to show the main power-core. The top level worker and Lord Doom have jetpacks to quickly zoom around and check systems and readouts. Another angle of the interior with side modules removed. A back view of the station, showing its Commander. Another back view The secondary power coil, which creates the deadly radioactive energy blasts the planetkiller can fire. Trapped inside is Lord Doom's prisoner, The Beast, who comes from a species immune to the deadly radioactivity. He dreams of escape! Lord Doom smirking away as the moonbase locks onto a target. In his cell The Beast reluctantly powers up the radioactivity beam while a guard watches from above. Views of just the main module (I made it in three bits for ease of movement and to show off The Beast's cell better) and the little latch for holding the front together.

Here is my first MOC, realized with LDD. It's an assault gunship/dropship for special forces, carrying a complement of 5 soldiers (one officer, 4 troopers). It's armed to the teeth, considering that it's mainly a transport. I know there's still much to correct and define, and I'm open to suggestions! (P.S.: the cockpit is open to show the pilot) Front view Rear engines can swivel to maneuver The soldiers inside are so tough they are having a fine time riding to battle You never know when you'll need missiles, better carry enough Counting the seconds to the action Tailgunner is angry The Lieutenant leading the chalk is not scared The pilot knows his way around the battle field Assault Gunship.lxf

UES Contact Light side by The Mugbearer, on Flickr UES Contact Light is a space train, huge transporting vessel. It has crash landed on the unknown planet with only 10 survivors escaped on the huge drop pod. Escapees were forced to fight their way through hordes of different creatures, huge and small, and eventually found the remaining four cargo holds and tractor intact. Then surviors defeated a strange creature named Providence and left the planet. Most of them changed beyond recognition in the process. UES Contact Light Tractor by The Mugbearer, on Flickr This is how Contact Light looks like without all those cargo holds. Those four bits represent fuel tank (left), reactor core (right), lesser bay for special cargo and arsenal for weaponry (up), medbay and crew quarters (bottom). UES Contact Light by The Mugbearer, on Flickr This MOC was inspired by the rogue-like action platformer Risk of Rain. Go check it out.

(MOC) SU-72 Jalak - Vic Viper Starfighter for Novvember 2013
toms_hart posted a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
This is my another Vic Viper Starfighter build for Novvember 2013 challenge in Flickr Vic Viper group. Also a rough quick build, non reference original gradius model based. First time using the canopy for my starfighter build and also tried "dark green-black-reddish brown" colours combo which I think would add fierce military looks on this starfighter. Comments and inputs are always welcome for improvement. Cheers Full resolution pics : http://www.flickr.co...otos/toms_hart/ -
JINX-168, a small-medium starfighter, manufactured by Javalican Fleet Engineering at Jaak-Rtaa Assembly Facility for single-hit assault missions. This single-pilot starfighter is equipped with a rapid-pulse J2G gatling cannon (optional), and an oversized single-fire BlasTech J-16 Hyperphoton Torpedo. This light J-shaped starfighter is powered by a single cryogenic power generator that is also functioned as an upgraded hyperdrive motivator. This is my submission for FBTB MOC Madness - Alphabet Fighters 2013 ROUND 1. You can visit the polling thread here: http://www.fbtb.net/...php?f=14&t=9972 Thanks all! Unlike walkers, 'The Ostrich' accelerates into battle almost running. The All-Terrain Runner 'The Ostrich' is made by resembling biostructure of the infamous fastest flightless bird. Used mainly in fast-paced ground infiltration ops, The Ostrich is stomping and trampling at 2 steps per second with the advanced-pneumatic legs, boosting its speed up to 87 mph in all-terrain conditions. This 26 feet mecha is also equipped with two ultrasonic sensors rapid lasers that can penetrate almost anything that comes in its way by 40 feet radius. Without further ado, humbly introduced to you: The Ostrich. http://www.flickr.com/photos/43799285@N00/

Hi, New member here. This is my first LEGO creation made in LDD. In the future I hope to make the "real thing"... Anyway, it's a ship that, as far as I know, nobody has done before and after finish it I can understand why! There are some details like the piping that are not 100% accurate because of the scale and the "disponible LEGO pieces" but I'm happy with overall result. Thanks for watching!

These minifigures were made for my space comic. After Blacktron was destroyed many groups tried to raise up and take control of the planet. One of these bands were Xenfar... This is the standard grunt: The decals didn't come out as well as I hoped, but oh well. He has back decals as well. I also made female soldier decals. Notice how the uniforms have different numbers on them. The whole band. As they are but rebels at the moment, with no rich benefactor, they use whatever weapons and helmets they have available. Thanks for looking, C&C appreciated!

I tried to think of an alien-sounding name for the castle, but I failed miserably The water wheel on the side (though it definitely isn't water!) turns a wheel inside that grinds the red crops into alien flour: More pics on flickr. Comments, criticism, and name suggestions welcome

Hello Eurobricks! Artlego, Illarion and I decided that I'll make the remaining parts of the Xenoarchaeologist trilogy by myself. I hope that both people who are unfamiliar with Warhammer 40000 and WH40k fans will like this story. The first part hasn't been released here yet due to translation issues, but it isn't required for understanding this story. This is not a beginning or a prologue of the second part but a trailer for it. Moreover, it's my first theme with photos matching EB requirements to resolution (800x533 or less). P.S. I hope you won't require a glossary but if you do, answer me. So, Allons-y! 815.M41 Year eight hundred fifteen of the forty-first millennium AD. In deep jungle of a far planet, one of the so-called Death Worlds... -Be careful, Seth. Try not to light some monster's eyes - this jungle is full of them. -For the Emperor's sake, Troy! Don't scare me. I've been serving in the Guard for five years and I count as a veteran here. Two Imperial Guardsmen were moving quietly through deadly jungle. One of them called Seth was illuminating the path with his torch while the other called Troy was carrying a vox-caster required to connect with the town. They were the last survivors in their squad which was sent to jungle by the Planetary Governor himself, and their mission was very important... "Look at this, Troy," they were speaking quietly, in nearly whispering voice because wild animals could hear them. "Oh my Emperor," whispered surprised Troy. "It can't be," said Seth. Imperial Guardsmen saw stone ruins in the jungle. A large stone plate covered with moss and grass looked like a sacrificial table and was likely made by non-humans. "I'm sure it's that thing we're looking for," Seth said proudly, "Troy, tell the Governor." But then they heard someone's loud and cheeky voice. "Puny humies! Duz ya know we'z da shootiest in da Galaxy?" "Orks! Run!" veteran Seth realized quickly. Orks pointed their built from scratch shootas at the Guardsmen and opened fire on them. "Dakkadakkadakka!!!" they shouted loudly simulating sounds of firearms. The Guardsmen ran quickly through the jungle. They couldn't overcome the superior Ork forces. If they were alive, the whole squad could defeat the Orks but now there were only two survivors. They were lucky that there were trees around them and that the Orks had usually poor shooting skills. Seth hid from Orkish bullets behing the bush and shot the Orks with his lasgun. Troy thought that was rather stupid. "If you want to die for the Emperor, I don't think now is the best time!" And he was right. An Orkish bullet mortally wounded the overconfident veteran. The torch fell from his hand and blew out. Troy didn't look back. He had no time to take his killed fellow. He hid behind a tree and decided to call the Governor. While Orks were trying to find the puny humie, the Guardsman took his vox caster. "Lord Governor, sir." he said quickly because every second counted, "We've found some ruins to the west from the river! Mission accomplished." "Good job, Guardsman," Governor said and drank amasec from his goblet, "Transmission over." And he hung his vox. Guardsman Troy put his vox caster down and saw the strangest Ork he'd ever seen. That Ork had a primitive wooden peg leg and his head was covered by lots of Hairy Squigs (Xenobiologist's note: Orks do not grow hair so they use hair-like parasites instead). He was holding a mushroom common in this jungle and a wooden staff with feathers. "Ya remind me somefink of," the Ork said slowly. He was looking at Troy with his mad red eyes. The Guardsman tried to yell but he couln't. He wanted to shoot the Ork with his lasgun but some unknown power stopped him. Also other Orks with shootas appeared near the weird Ork. "Mumbo-jumbo, hocus-pocus, alakazam!" the Ork was singing joyfully. Troy called the Emperor in spirit but that didn't help him. Shining lightning bolts appeared from the Ork's staff and the Guardsman's head exploded. Orks laughed in concert. Meanwhile, aboard the colossal spaceship carrying a part of the once mighty Eldar race... The wise Farseer of this Craftworld who lead his people since olden times, was lost in thought. With his psychic abilities he saw threads of destiny and all their cobwebs. He saw dozens of possible futures but he didn't know what to do for making one of them a reality. And one human visited him in visions. He didn't know him but his face pursued him in dreams. The Farseer closed his eyes and tried to track that human in the future but he saw only ancient ruins belonging to a race older than the Eldar... He called Autarch Erestril, a commander-in-chief of the Craftworld's warhost. "The runes told me that death would come to the same place as earlier, Erestril," the Farseer said in calm and vocal Eldar voice. "I'll rally the warriors, Farseer," Autarch responded. "There is no need," Farseer refused, "I'll go there alone". There was horror in Autarch's clear eyes. And a human head continued to look from the crystal ball... "So gentlemen," the Governor invited Lord General of the Imperial Guard and Master of planetary Administratum, "We have urgent business." "At first, we need a XENOARCHAEOLOGIST," the Governor declared. Interesting facts (some behind-the-scenes and trivia). Please read after the story.
