  1. Hi everyone, My Midi-Scale TIE collection expands again with a new TIE starfighter: the TIE Striker from Rogue One. Made of 730 pieces, this TIE Striker features a fully SNOT surface, a smooth cockpit section, and includes blaster cannons below the cockpit. Design-wise, this ship really felt like a natural continuation of my previous TIE Reaper MOC. Although being almost Minifig-scaled, (hence the Midi-scale) this ship obviously doesn't have any interior due to the techniques used and small space allowed for the internal structure. Due to the front-heavy nature of the design, a rather long (but very simple) stand had to be made in order for the ship to remain perfectly steady and horizontal. The overall build is pleasantly sturdy for a display model and can be moved around easily. Hope you guys like it! â–º Instructions for the TIE Striker are available on Rebrickable or via email at flyinspace.mocs@gmail.com More pictures on my Flickr page.

    Scarif Citadel Tower (WIP)

This is a first draft of sorts, I don't know much about large builds but I am certain that this can't hold its own weight. Making it more stable would mean cutting rooms out, so I figured I would post this first! Some stats: 1.2x1.2x2.88 ft 5400 pieces Exterior shot: Interior overview: On the first floor I put a small speeder garage: The left hand side of the first and second floors have an elevator; pulling on the red knobs opens the door to the elevator. The second story elevator leads to the observation deck: The observation deck slides out so that minifigures can be placed, here's what it looks like separated from the main build: The third floor has the data vault. On the left, you can see the winch system used to raise the elevator. The vault door can open and close thanks to door rails. Right behind K2SO there was some empty space, so I put a hidden minikit there: Behind The data vault door is the vault control room. It overlooks the bottom of the data tower. The data spire extends through the upper section of the citadel. I included a doorway for Krennic to come out of, as well as a catwalk. The data spire opens into the final confrontation area: Lastly, here's the top of the tower. There was a small room where I originally wanted to put the final confrontation in, but it ended up being too small, so I put another minikit there. What are your thoughts on this build? Comments and suggestions are appreciated! Link to the model: https://www.mecabricks.com/en/models/7l2Bnz8p20N

  4. *Your entry has earned 20 XP (x2 for limited challenge)* Cdr. Bannon’s Log: Scarif has been a somewhat heated conversation topic among high command as of late. Even though not unanimous, Scarif has been decided as a strategic priority for the Triumvirate expansion. I’ve taken it upon myself to inspect Cdr. Voluth’s mining operation in the former Aurek-14 excavation site. Most of Aurek-14 was buried in a mining accident around 0 BBY. If my theory is correct, Aurek-14 should still hold some of the best kept secrets of the Tarkin Initiative. Personally I’d like to have a look myself. An inspection is the perfect cover, and the perfect opportunity to test my new Eta-2 TIE Interceptor. Cdr. Voluth: Commander Bannon, we are honored by your presence. Cdr. Bannon: You may dispense with the pleasantries Commander. I’m here to inspect the mining operation! Cdr. Voluth: I assure you Cdr. Bannon, my men are working as hard as they can. Cdr. Bannon: Good... And the salvage operation? Cdr. Voluth: We have managed to salvage roughly 200 containers of kyber. Cdr. Bannon: Excellent! Shuttle the containers to my ship immediately. I will inspect a few other sites before I return to my ship. Commander, I want daily reports on the operation. Cdr. Voluth: Of course sir! Sometime later... After inspecting a highly classified area of Aurek-14... Cdr. Bannon’s Log - continued: My suspicions were correct! The secrets buried on Scarif may very well hold the key to restoring the glory of the Empire! This information cannot end up in the wrong hands. I’ll personally make sure to deliver this intel safely... /// A closer look at the Eta-2 TIE Interceptor (ugly). The starfighter is a crossover of the Jedi Starfighter and an original TIE fighter, with a few upgrades. Like additional engines, weaponry etc. I know I have a lot going on in this build, but I didn’t feel like removing anything. The moc is supposed to be a cut-section of the mining canals seen in Scarif concept art from Rogue One. Spend a lot of time on the rockwork and the orange tram that slides on the rail… I hope you enjoy it… :)

    Rogue One Chess Set MOC

This is my MOC of a Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Chess Set based on the Battle of Scarif. The MOC was based on the Lego Pirates Chess Set 40158 and Lego Star Wars Battle on Scarif 75171. When I first saw the Lego Pirates set, the first thing that came to mind was modding it to be a Star Wars Chess Set, then I saw Rogue One and set about building it. It has sat on my desk in various states over the last year or so and I thought it was about time to finish it and share it with you all. To my knowledge this is the first Lego Chess Set based on Rogue One unless I missed something. Some of the changes I made were: Making the connection between minifigure and chess board two studs to centralise the position of the figure. Changing the colour of the water plates to be closer to the colour of the water on Scarif. After building 21042 recently I decided to give this set a black border and base to add stability. I feel that it also gave the build a nicer finish. Foliage and beach design and layout. The one thing I found difficult was deciding which minifigures should represent each piece, given the lack of Imperial female representation the Queen ended up being Orson Krennic whilst the King is Darth Vader. Please let me know if you have any comments of ideas for improving it. Anyway enough of my babble, here are the photos: And finally a friend suggested that I included a mini AT-ACT, so I modified Miro’s mini AT-AT from https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-8089/Miro/tiny-at-at/#comments Thanks for looking at my build.
  6. Hello everyone, So I haven't been active for the last 6 months, mainly because I've been working on this. For my first Large Scale Diorama, I decided to build Scarif from Rogue One. My goal was to make it as movie accurate as possible while still adding in a little fun so I hope I succeed. This MOC is built on 4, 48x48 base plates (2x2) making it 3x3 feet. I started this project in January, unable to see the end, yet here I am. Most of the parts were bought off of Bricklink and Brickowl and cost about $900 in total. I don't have an exact piece count but there are 5600 trans-blue round studs and probably just over 12,000 parts in total. I have spent 6 months building this so I would love some feedback, comments and what to improve for my next big build. Thanks so much, MovieMocs If you're looking for more pictures, here's the Flickr Album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/152950154@N05/albums/72157699670821685
  7. Lego 75171 modification. At first I wanted to build an entire Scarif scene and make everything myself, but due to budget, time and space I opted to go for a modified version of the original set. I haven't made anything my own yet, but this should give you an idea of what you can do with 4 sets. For this modification I bought 4 Battle on Scarif sets. I used bag one of the set twice for the bunker part (which should be taller at this point) and bag three four times for the cargo area base. There are still a lot of parts leftover from the set. I used two 2x6 Tan pieces for the sand area on the sides. The bunker area is something that should be better so I will get to that later.

    Battle on Scarif MOC

This will be a long post, but it will detail the progress for the Scarif MOC that my friend and I made. Here's how it all went down. Unbeknownst to us, it started about a year ago with the minifig scale AT-AT walker I made. Fast forward to about two months ago, my friend began work on the beach scene initially by combining two Scarif Battle Lego sets as a way to display Rogue One minifigs. Once we decided to do a joint Scarif MOC I expanded my beach and bunker scene to fit more on the scale of the AT-AT. We then began planning how the MOC would look with both of our sections together. Lovely artwork done by my friend. My buddy added some foliage to platform next. We finally brought both sides together. This is what it looked like initially. 8 Battle on Scarifs and two TIE Strikers worth of troops. Added the rack to hang the ships off of. Also seen is the new island behind the now converted AT-ACT walker. More or less completed product. The first convention we took it to, Comicpalooza in Houston, TX USA with Texlug Houston. Merrick is having a bad day. His overconfidence will be his undoing. We hired security to patrol the MOC and make sure no pieces left with the spectators. One last shot of the MOC. Thanks for viewing! We plan on doubling the size of this MOC, adding a landing platform, two more bunkers, Renegade-Clone's Zeta class shuttle, and a Citadel. If you'd like further updates, I upload progress videos on my youtube at youtube.com/richboyjhae.

    MOC: Scavenging on scarif

This is my first moc topic here on eurobricks even thought I joined a while ago, I hope I am doing this right also if you want to understand why the resistance exists and isn't just the new republic I recommend the book Bloodline cause episode 7 does a bad job explaining it plus its a great read. 'Astounding, what are the chances of finding a moron stupid enough to think its worth while to kidnap a broken droid ,well about 0.5%' yes I know k-2s0 should be dead and exploded but just ignore that :P

    Scarif Reference Material

I am working on a MOC of Scarif from Rogue one but I have been unable to find any reference material for the Citadel Tower, which is sort of a key part of the Scarif base. If anybody knows anywhere were i can get good reference for the Scarif base in general, that would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

[MOC] LEGO Game Battle on Scarif

Hello everyone! Similar to 3866 Battle on Hoth, I have created a MOC: Battle on Scarif! Same rules, just different builds and colours. I know it's not the most creative of MOCs, but I will work on more creative ones in future :) Here is the MOC: I hope you like it VaderFan2187

  15. May I present an all-new MOD design: --TIE Striker-- Straight from the new film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the TIE Striker is a brilliantly-designed new variant on the original craft. With a wide array of armament and weaponry, and sporting a new atmosphere-friendly design, this TIE variant proves to be a match for even the best Rebel pilots. The Lego Group has released their own version of the craft. There are many things I liked about their design, and given this is a MOD, there are a few similarities in design. What separates this one from their model, however, is the increased range in features and detail. When redesigning the wings, I decided to switch some of the plates with tile pieces. I am one of those Lego builders who prefers tiles over plates for wing designs. Plus, the wings look even sleeker now. In addition, the wings feature front blasters, smaller, custom-designed hinges, and underside accent builds. For the body, I went to the visual guide for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. There are MANY things in that one that, surprisingly, weren't incorporated into the official Lego release (i.e. a second pilot seat, and a storage area for the bombs). I am very pleased to say that this version includes those design characteristics. Starting with the front, I updated the controls for the TIE pilot, which are more minifigure-friendly and realistic. Also, I switched the hatch build with the hatch plate (looks more like the original ship); I updated the front blasters with a new hinge piece, rather than the spring-loaded missiles; and I added some underside blasters as well. The center storage area includes an area for 16 bombs. Also underneath that area, I've included a hatch where those bombs can be deployed/dropped. Finally, as I said previously, the rear end includes an area for a 2nd pilot, as well as controls and handlebars for TIE Pilot operations. The end also includes a redesigned engine, with the familiar engine design of the original craft. I am very excited to share my MOD with you all, and I hope you guys are excited to build it for yourself. MOCpages Please let me know what you think below. God bless!
  16. Hello everyone! My name is Jaydan and this is my first post. After seeing Rogue one for the third time, I decided to create a mini-figure scale building from the battle of Scarif. I noticed Lego had produced a play set of the specific scene that i wanted to recreate due to release early 2017, however within the film there are two buildings that look very similar. one is from the scene i wanted to recreate and that Lego had created a play set of, and the other was a building that stood out to me. In my mind these buildings were exactly the same, but after a bit of research i discovered that they were not. Now I've spent many hours on Lego digital designer creating a building that has almost no significance to the entire film. Oh well, I'll build what I jolly well like! ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// here is the reference and progress of the buildings' design: https://flic.kr/s/aHskLGBy2a ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Since the film is not out on 'DVD' or 'Blue-ray' i had to use other sources for reference. I found out that Electronic Arts' new "Star Wars Battlefront" has a paid "downloadable content" level that is based on this particular battle and it contains the structure i want to recreate. i currently don't own this DLC so i was forced to take screenshots from "Youtube" videos. Here are the links to the videos: Feel free to raise any concerns regarding the structure, and if there is a better technique that i should try to use. I was initially planning on building the structure without an interior but I'm toying with the idea of the left side of the building having a cut away, almost like a doll house. let me know what you think and give any other ideas that i should consider. If someone owns the Battlefront DLC and is willing to take better reference pictures of the bunker, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much! -Jaydan

    [MOC] Scarif Battle

Hi guys, to celebrate Rogue One hitting the screens in the UK I have gone back to my favourite style of building and created this Scarif micro landscape.
