  1. Thanks for checking out my latest topic. I finally bought the pieces to build my Boeing 747 irl. Feel free to support this project on LEGO Ideas if you want to see it become an official set. While not being based on a specific variant of the 747 this model is meant to be a general tribute to this awesome marvel of engineering. The creation is built out of 603 parts (including stand) and the aircraft measures approximately 37 cm L x 33 cm W x 10.5 cm H (14.6" L x 13" W x 4.1" H). It includes many details such as printed decals representing the passenger windows and the doors, the four turbofan engines, removable landing gear and a sleek stand for dynamic display. In combination with the size the stand would make it a great swooshable desk display-piece for any fan of LEGO and aviation. Feel free to check out this 3D-view of the creation on Mecabricks and the high resolution images on flickr. Improved display stand: Than you for your attention.

    FS200 Skybird/Seabird

A while ago I created a small minifigure scale plane inspired by the classic Cessna 172. I built an ordinary version as well as a seaplane. You can check out a 3D-view on Mecabricks and I also created custom instructions which you can find on Rebrickable.
  3. An Italian Classic Together with Gabriele Zannotti aka zanna I've been working on a scale model of a FIAT 500 for almost two years now. I've actually already made a topic on EB a while ago but the model has improved a lot since then and we also took some cool pictures of the real life model so I decided it would be appropriate to post a new thread. The model As it stands right now the model is made of 1210 pieces and has plenty of details and features to offer. The boot which is located at the front can be opened revealing the fuel tank, a toolbox and an actual spare tyre. The bonnet in the back is decorated with several custom decals depicting the various cooling vents as well as the license plate and additional details. It can be opened which allows you to see the detailed 500cc straight twin engine. Furthermore, the doors can be opened and the front seats tilted forward allowing you to access the rear seat bench. On sunny days you can also swap out the closed sun-roof for the opened variant. Boot details The rear end Openable doors and hatches The engine bay Dashboard details Foldable seats Open roof Thanks for checking out our topic. Additional images can be found in both Gabriele's flickr page and mine. Our model is still very much a work in progress and we keep improving the build and adding new details. We've actually uploaded our model to LEGO Ideas and it has already surpassed 7.5k but your support would be greatly appreciated so we can meet the 10k goal in time.

    Hello I'm saabfan!

Hello everybody, My name is Felix aka saabfan. You may know me from Lego Ideas. I'm a passionate Lego fan from Austria (not Australia) and I'm specialized on building oldtimer cars. I also like Lego Technic and generally all moving stuff. If you wonder where my nickname comes from it's from a swedish car company called Saab. I also like the stories of J.R.R Tolkien, Star Wars and of course Lego. My favorite TV series is Monk.
