    [MOC] School Bus

Hello Speed Champions and City fans, It was my entry to Bricklink Designer Program Series 3 and 4. It has received many kind comments and support, but unfortunately it has not been selected, therefore I decided to make the instructions available here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-177592/_TLG_/school-bus I always loved American style school buses, therefore I decided to design one to Bricklink Designer Program Series 3. It is not actually based on a real one, but it contains many typical details: the black bumper rails and STOP arms on the sides, the crossing arm, the side and rear doors, the rearview and crossover mirrors, the mudguards, the warning lights etc.. The roof assembly can be removed as one piece and in this case the internal details are visible: there is a driver seat with steering wheel, dashboard, gear shift, passenger seats and even a fire extinguisher. It is 8 studs wide, studless build in minifigure scale and fits perfectly to Speed Champions cars or to a LEGO City. There are many working details: the front and rear doors, the STOP arms, the crossing arm and windshield wipers. I wanted to create a clean build and tried to fill every unnecessary gaps and hide unnecessary studs, therefore some tricky, but legal build techniques are used. The set includes three minifigures: a driver, a school girl with a pen and backpack and a school boy with a brick built backpack. The model has space for 17 minifigures: one driver and 16 passengers. If the passengers are kids with short, rigid legs, then they can stand on the seats. The building instructions guidelines have been followed. It is built from the palette "BDP Series 3", so there are some color and part restrictions. The color "Bright Light Orange" would be a bit more authentic, but the available parts are restricted, therefore I decided to use "Yellow" and I am satisfied with the result. The STOP sign is very rare part and it is not available in this palette, therefore it is replaced by a simple, white, circular sign with a sticker. The door 43967 is also not available in yellow, therefore it is replaced by a brick built one, however, in this case I was able to add some extra details: a black door handle, bottom window and red lights. I hope you like my design, I appreciate any feedback. 40586 - Moving Truck GWP

According to Promobricks the rumored GWP matching this years Jazz Club modular building (10312) set will not be a pizza van but a furniture moving truck and included in the set some nice accessories: a brick-built handcart for transporting a piano, jukebox, painting of a saxophone and dressing table. A moving box labeled “To Jazz Club” is also included. The logos on the sides of the moving truck, the license plate and the lid of the moving box are stickers, so 6 in total, but the piano and jukebox have printed tiles too. The truck also has opening cabin and rear doors! Set number:40586 Name: Moving Truck Piece count: 301 Nr. of minifigures: 2 Release date: 21.02. till 03.03.2023 Availability: LEGO Price: free with purchase above 180 €/$ (not tied to 10312 Jazz Club purchase) Here is a quick and dirty build and rendering of the truck. It's dimensions are 5.6 x 15.7 x 9.1 cm (7.0 x 19.6 x 11.4 studs).
  3. Hi guys! I seem to be falling into the same rabbit holes in my research, over and over. Could anyone help me figure out if this is an original Lego wooden cat or not? 🤷‍♀️ They are all so differently painted, and I can’t seem to find this particular one - not within the competitors products either. And there are many details hinting it could be Lego. Sold from a collector of wooden toys from the right era - some of them genuine Lego. But this one lacks any stickers or markings. Would love anyones take on this kitty cat! Have a Lego day! Elsa
  4. Following the events of The LEGO Movie 2, and using the proceeds of his and Lucy's film careers, Emmet got to work on building Lucy and himself their dreamhouse again. They made it a little bigger, a little better, and a lot stronger... just in case of any future Duplo attacks. It also features an attic for extra storage space. Unikitty lives in the house too, and has made the unused attic space her personal play-place. The MOC's color scheme was heavily inspired by set 70831 - Emmet's Dream House/Rescue Rocket. The building itself (not the furniture) was originally inspired by this Rebrickable MOC by user MIJbricks. The rear of the house features a chimney flue. The model also opens up like a dollhouse up to 90 degrees, and locks shut on a technic pin. On the front half's lower level is the living room, with record player, writing desk and couch. Upstairs is the bed, lamp, and a huge cabinet. The attic is Unikitty's play-place. (She seems really happy to see you!) In the rear half (lower level) is the kitchen table and fireplace. Upstairs is a vanity and Planty. Pictures of Emmet and Lucy are on the wall as well. Alas, it seems the house already has a Duplo infestation... In addition to the manor house, I'm also got a black version of set 40448 - Vintage Car (from Ideas) for Emmet and Lucy to drive around in. I absolutely HATED those loose-fitting surfboards on the sides, so I've created a easy workaround. Some other things have been changed in certain places, such as those eight 1x1 double curved slopes have been replaced with the new 1x4 version for added strength. I originally wanted to do the car in red, but the wheel arches are sadly stupid expensive in regular red. Blue was also an option, until I learned one of the 1x1 brackets needed are not available in that color yet. Thus, black was my only remaining choice. Thoughts? EDIT 9/14/22: real life pictures added, and text updated.

    [MOC] Panel Van Hover car

22´s 10th week , 10 th MOCs Its a delivery hover car, or a panel van It´s the last build in this series of fly/hover cars And once again it´s the underside to be the most worked No more fly/hover cars (at least, for a while) it´s time to "walk" to space.....
  6. The Interstellar Zephyr transports Nexus Force personnel as a very high-speed, high-security ground transport between the northern-most city of St. Nicklaus and north-pole-hugging outpost of Ice Station Odyssey, around 500 miles away. (this all takes places on the ice-bound planet of Beta Polaris, which orbits what we here call the North Star, far away from Earth.) Unlike the slower Earth trains, this Zephyr type of space-train is super-streamlined, and can go up to speeds of up to 110 MPH (135 is the loco's top possible speed) on it's special track, with super-elevated curves and long straight-a-way's over hundreds of miles, all while using Positive Train Control (PTC) on the the mostly double-track mainline, where all vehicle crossings are flyovers and switches virtually non-existent once out of St. Nicklaus city limits. This train runs along with nine other identical versions of this train (10 total trains in all) on the route with up to seven in running order on the route and at least two in the maintenance shed / in emergency backup storage at any one time. You may have noticed the train model is NOT in the original light gray "stainless steel" of the original Pioneer Zephyr on which is was (kind-of) based. The orange and white color scheme is because it's for my Nexus Force theme... to be honest, it's not even really a Zephyr that much anymore. It's more of a mix of the Pioneer Zephyr and several other concepts that began in the 1930's - '50's era, like the dome car. (To call it a hodgepodge would be accurate!) This model features three joined cars, with the power car up front, a coach, diner-dome in the middle, another coach, then the observation lounge at the rear. None of the car's roof sections come off, and their is no interior, to save on costs when this model is built in real life. The repurposed 2014 CITY Arctic logo slope on the rear of the lounge car is a missing print, as are the three dark bluish gray "donut" tiles on the loco unit. (these parts should have a engine fan / rotor print) The train uses only a few magnets to sperate the train in the middle, as having Jacobs bogies throughout with my current storage setup would have been unwise. This also leaves open the possibility for future expansion of a car or two... maybe a dome car could be in the cards somewhere down the line? (Yes, I know no shovel-nose Zephyr ever had domes... but this isn't a normal Zephyr, now is it?) You can see more details on the arctic / space base shown above in this thread in the Sci-Fi forum. Be warned, it needs to be updated with some newer pictures of stuff I designed! Thoughts on this model? EDIT 5/10/22: model completely revised and updated. EDIT #2 5/11/22 Three hundred parts found, 737 left to go on my space Zephyr. (the wrong colored window glass will be popped out an replaced when it's needed) The dome car, is not included in the totals either way as I'm still not sure it would work out to build it... even if I did make it work, I would be buying almost every single part on it. So, basically, it won't even be attempted for a while. Also, I got the shovel-nose built except for two orange slope parts.
  7. Hello everyone, hope you are doing well. I have recently re-visited a model which I started building years ago when I first dove in the world of lego technic. I have made some final adjustments and the model is now complete. It's my pleasure to share it here: 911S 2.4L from the 70's - 1800+ parts - 1:10 scale - air-cooled flat six - 4 speed manual gearbox (an adaptation of the gearbox found on @Charbel's Volcano supercar) - working steering wheel - independent rear suspension - macpherson strut front suspension (courtesy of Gergely's Technic Models on Youtube) - openable doors, bonnet, and engine cover What do you think? P.S.:This MOC shares ~70% of the parts with set 42096 - Porsche 911 RSR. And I have also make sure no blue pins are visible outside. If you are interested, instruction is available here And with the orange F150 fenders available, I'm thinking about building a Targa version too :)
  8. This Classic Space version of Build Better Bricks' Iron Giant with the head of the previous @hachiroku version of the Giant's head added on. (consider it a mashup of the two Iron Giant models!) The car was also inspired by this Hachiroku build here, and was originally made by me in September 2020. I have just now revised this early 1950's car for Benny with new mudguards that cover the (enlarged) two rear wheels. I made both MOC models into CS colors (black, both "new" grays, and blue, with white for the car roof) with red and green indicator light parts (on the robot only), and two yellow / black bumblebee stripe tiles with a printed 4 x 2 slopes on the arms / car trunk lid. (They aren't shown, but have this print) The gray jumpers near the robot's waist are for power conduits, so he can be recharged without consuming (costly!) metal products via his opening mouth. Speaking of which, the mouth now can open to allow for posing... but unfortunately, it doesn't play nice with the shoulders, so the mouth must remain closed until I can figure out a better solution. Another thing that didn't work well was the rotating waist: it operated too jerkily and was hard to operate, so I removed that feature. The rear of the robot. Not sure if it's a feature, but the arms won't go down any further to the sides... I tried everything I could think of, but no dice. This is because the arms can't be removed without destroying the awesome-looking - and very intricate - torso. Looks pretty classy, right? The two doors open, but the obligatory black space seat is missing, because any more height and Benny would not fit inside. The rear has a license plate, the classic space logo, and two coverings mostly obscuring the rear wheels. As a courtesy to the driver instead of the space seat, I have included a light bluish gray upholstery for the back of the seat. As usual, Thoughts, Suggestions, Comments, & Questions of any kind are always welcome! So, what do you think?

    Lego Retro Arcade MOC

Hi all, here is my Retro Arcade MOC I submitted recently on Lego Ideas. It’s been suggested I don’t ask for support so I won’t. Bring out your inner child with the amazing interactive ‘Retro Arcade’. Join Charlie on the coin operated sports car or grab a drink from the vending machine. Help Mollie’s Grandpa win a teddy on the claw grabber or help yourself to some candy from the gumball machine. Pop inside and hold on tight on the superbike or put your driving skills to the test on the car racer. Why not finish off with a good old blast on the arcade video games before taking a snapshot in the photo booth. Bursting with fun, working functions and indoor light bricks, the ‘Retro Arcade’ is a winner for all ages. Features 1,849 pieces and 7 minifigures. Interactive functions include: coin operated sports car, claw grabber, super bike, car racer, indoor light bricks and a rotating planet on the arcade roof. Hope you like it 😊👍 https://ideas.lego.com/projects/09c20a79-394b-48e1-b08a-4f65ce212f1e
  10. Hello, I'd like to present one of my first attempts at a digital MOC made using Studio. How far digital building software has come since the days of LDD! It's a ferry, built in the Classic Town style using a retro pallette. It is crewed by 1 minifigure, and can be boarded from both ends by 4-wide vehicles. It can transport 2 vehicles at a time (based on 6633 Family Car), as well as approx. 4 passengers on the walkways and 2 bicycles. I based the design on this Playmobil set from a few years ago. I've never collected Playmobil but I saw a review of this set on JANGBrick's channel and thought it was quite good. Here is the ferry, docked at a small pier, unloading 6633 Family Car. And here it is, on its own. I hope you enjoyed looking at this model. It's been a long time since I've posted on Eurobricks, but I've never stopped looking at all the wonderful creations ~ A.S.

    Build my own LEGO city

Hello LEGO city friends, I started my own LEGO city last Christmas and made a YouTube series out of it. It´s a city with a retro style, I use my old childhood sets from the 80´s. I am already 12 Episodes in and my city has grown a lot. There are also some story elements around my citizens'. Unfortunately it´s in German language but that shouldn´t stop you to come and visit. So please feel free to come by and watch some LEGO from a long long time ago. And here is the link to my channel:
  12. Heavily inspired by @Electricsteam's long-awaited in-the-brick Atomic Streamliner project, (as seen here in this thread) I have designed my own Atomic-Age wonder called "Nucleus". It is, as the inspirational original builder once said "a fission powered turbine loco" with 4-4-2 Atlantic wheel arrangement. The Nexus Force logo piece goes on both sides of the locomotive's tender. Nucleus is owned by the Neo Nexus Force, and is a retro-futuristic stream-liner mix of old-style 2-rail technology, but with hyper-modern safety features designed specifically for use by Nexus Force personnel as a very high-speed, high-security ground transport between the northern-most city of St. Nicklaus and north-pole-hugging outpost of Ice Station Odyssey, around 590 miles away. (this all takes places on the ice-bound planet of Beta Polaris, which orbits what we here call the North Star, far away from Earth.) Thus this makes it a space train! Unlike the slower Earth trains, the Nucleus type of space-train is super-streamlined, and can go up to speeds of up to 160 MPH on it's special track, with super-elevated curves and long straight-away's over hundreds of miles, all while using Positive Train Control (PTC) on the the mostly double-track mainline, where all vehicle crossings are flyovers and switches virtually non-existent once out of St. Nicklaus city limits. This train runs along with seven identical versions of the train on the route with up to five in running order on the route and at least one in the maintenance shed / in emergency backup storage at any one time. They are named / numbered Nucleus 1 through 6. The baggage car, which usually holds anything from sled dogs in crates, to core samples of millennia-old meteorites bound for labs under armed guard. All the doors on this model open up, as shown. (The rest of the passenger cars doors on the the other cars open too, but it's only here you will see it being shown!) The passenger cars come in groups of two, jointed together by a Jacobs bogie in the middle. The observation car at the rear of the train. This train will go nicely with my Nexus Force moon base, plus my other, Classic Space themed train based on the Aerotrain, called the Astrotrain. The Nucleus train probably won't be built for a while, (orange isn't a cheap color!) but it's at least on my radar. Once again, a hearty thanks to @Electricsteam for his wonderful eight-wide model, as it inspired my six-wide one. As usual, comments, questions, and complaints are always welcome!
  13. Welcome to the wonderous world of Yesteryears' view of the future! Where the moon is being colonized, robots are commonplace in our homes, atomic power is everywhere, and outer space is the new frontier! Here we see two Retro-futuristic trains together: the longest one is the "Nucleus Express" atomic-powered express passenger train, while the shortest one is the "Astrotrain" diesel passenger four-car train set, and the middle one is the "Moon Mover" diesel-powered freight service, with all three sporting streamlined Classic Space color schemes. ASTROTRAIN I already have a real-world Aerotrain LEGO model completed, and was fiddling around while bored when I came across this Classic Space version of the train from 2018. I had to take out the upside-down slanted coach windows because the parts don't exist in trans-yellow yet. I added different windows, red and green directional lights, and a bigger horn that looks like a thruster pod. I used black wheels instead of gray ones because they are cheaper and easier to find, but you'd never know that because I hid them behind SNOT'ed panels that look more like the prototype. Then, I deviated wildly from the GM Aerotrain and added a Baldwin Sharknose type-end to the front of the engine to make it even more unique. The classic space 4 x 2 slope from Benny's spaceship goes right below the headlight, of course. Also, as a side note, a 9V motor can be added to the engine for shows alongside my CS base / vehicles. (I don't own a 9V motor or track, but some GtwLUG members do and have offered to try out my locos wit h 9V power in the past.) The engine has been thoroughly made into a futuristic space locomotive... which wasn't too hard as it was already pretty forward-thinking designed originally. The roof is now removable, with seating for a driver and dual weight bricks for adding traction to the 9v motor. (when it has one for shows) As a concession to using trans-yellow as a window color, I had to remove the original slanted GM Fishbowl-bus style windows that were used on the original Aerotrain due to lack of parts in that color. The rear of the train has no coupler as it's "supposed" to be a part of one complete train-unit. Here we can se the original aerotrain working slightly at my dads. link to video showing Aerotrain in motion at Flickr Please excuse the pineapple couch, its my dads, as is the borrowed 9v equipment. The motor sadly only can pull three cars and at full speed only or not at all. But, it is a step towards having it run at train shows! (if anyone can help me figure out how to get the motor to move more than three cars, or add the video to my actual post, please respond below! Thanks to a suggestion by @XG BC, the locomotive now has weight bricks over the (potential) motor, so it should be ready for 9v power for shows next year. NUCLEUS EXPRESS PASSENGER TRAIN Heavily inspired by @Electricsteam's long-awaited Atomic Streamliner project, (as seen here ) I have designed my own Atomic-Age wonder for my "Moon Mover" fast freight service. It is, as is Electricsteams' engine, a fission powered turbine loco with 4-4-2 "Atlantic" wheel arrangement. This engine lacks the full streamlining of other locos, but it does have the nose streamlined. This allows for easier working on the nuclear powerplant that powers the engine's movement. Unlike the slower Earth trains, the Nucleus type of space-train is super-streamlined, and can go up to speeds of up to 180 MPH on it's special track, with super-elevated curves and a long straight-away over 101+ miles, all while using Positive Train Control (PTC) on the the mostly double-track mainline, where all vehicle crossings are flyovers and switches virtually non-existent once out of the city limits. Here are the three coaches for the Nucleus train. The inside of all the cars for this train look the same - three seats for each car. This dome car features spectacular views of Earth through it's car-width rooftop window. The rearmost-car features a large observation window. ASTRO-BASE COMMUTER RAILROAD STATION This commuter station will be the departure point for my two Classic Space trains. It features a very low floor with two accessibility ramps to get at the two train tracks - one run through and one stub end. There are two benches, two ticket machines, and a single double-sided analog clock. The manned ticket booth (for those uncomfortable or unfamiliar with the electronic machines) has a sign above it saying the train terminal's name, which is named Astro-Base. This is because it is located next to my Classic Space moon-base. Here we see the other side of the run-through track. OTHER STUFF The two identical doors of the space base has been re-designed to handle train tracks so the trains can enter and exit the walled-in base and the doors still open and shut. Atlantis City (located in Copernicus crater on Earth's moon, in XL shape and yellow on the map), the great domed wonder of the solar system, has a rail system to get people to work at it's outlying un-domed facilities. The interstellar transport hub of Reinhold is the next stop, and is the terminus for all the public passengers / galactic tourists. (The Reinhold crater is in green here) The following two branch lines are for specific crewmembers only: The Lansberg line is for power / shield generation over the city and surrounding land areas. It also was where the original city was located, before the original founders relocated to Copernicus Crater and founded the Great Glass City as we know it today. (Lansberg is in violet / purple crater) The Gambart line is for military personnel only, as it where the top brass pour over charts and make way for the latest improvements in "laser scanner" technology. (This one in the Blue with yellow rim crater) Potential new tracks could be laid to the planned 100,000 seat stadium in the older Stadius crater (barely visible near Copernicus crater) for Sportsball events. New tracks could also be laid past the space hippies encampment at Hortensius Crater (small yellow crater), but has been continually voted down by protesting neo-hippies, as it would bring bad vibes to their region by the loud construction vehicles just to get to the ice mines of the Mare Insularum. (No one has managed to get through to them that there is no sound in a vacuum!) (Photo from Google Earth, with railroad lines drawn and story by me. The colorful moon landscape background is from early 1960's NASA maps that I thought were really cool. More stuff will come as I think of it, so keep your eyes peeled for updates to this thread! UPDATED 7/11/21 This Zephyr-like loco is going to replace the engine at the head of my Astro-train. I decided to do this for one reason: motorization! I will soon be able to put a 9v motor at the head of the train, running it via electricity for shows with Gateway LUG. The inter-car connection is the same as before, and most of the needed parts for the engine (plus one more passenger car!) will come from the pervious loco. Thoughts?
  14. My entry was selected to the Fan Vote phase of "Build a Vintage car to cruise the streets of LEGO® Modular Buildings!". If you like it, please vote it before Dec-4th, to be an official "LEGO Gift with Purchase" set: https://ideas.lego.com/challenges/bafd4186-bb49-4eb0-903f-910415f04391/application/080bc359-fa49-4bd9-894c-2b627ba2abc7 More details: The title came from the movie "Jailhouse Rock" because of the striped T-shirt of the "bad boy". It is a late 50's muscle car tuning. On the main picture the couple is watching the freshly installed supercharger and on the last one the first try is visible :) One of the most interesting thing about this car is the brickbuilt flame decoration which was inspired by one of my Matchboxes from my childhood. Some tricky solutions were used to build the flame decoration on the hood especially without the supercharger which is visible on one of the pictures. I prefer this solution instead of stickers to keep the flexibility of the used parts in further builds. It is (mostly) a studless build in Speed Champions style which means a 6 studs wide car with a 4 studs wide windscreen. However the front wheels came from a City set to make them similar to the rear ones which are a bit bigger Creator wheels to make the car more dynamic. I hope you enjoy this car. 15. Pretty much as soon as pictures of the City Space 2019 sets appeared online, AFOLs were pointing out their conceptual similarities to Classic Space. I have taken that a step further by recolouring one of the 2019 sets, 60224 Satellite Service Mission, making it consistent with the Classic Space sets of the early to mid-1980s. It is not a true retro mod as the parts and building techniques are those of today, not those of 35+ years ago. So it should really be called Neo Classic Space. I replaced the minifigure with one more in keeping with the earlier period. The repositioning of the wingtips, if you're wondering, was not to make the ship more retro. I just think they look better attached underneath than on top. Here is the 2019 set: And here is my mod: I like to think that the satellite to be deployed by the ship will be communicating with the Classic Space mobile station (and ATV) I recreated a few years ago and still in my display collection: I haven't yet decided whether I will retro mod any of the other 2019 City Space sets. If anyone wants to post below their own mod of 60224 or indeed any other of this summer's releases, please do. I would be most interested in seeing what is out there. Questions, comments, classic colour confusion?

  17. When I was cleaning up my working place today I rediscovered one of my very early mocs, a Ferrari F2002. The scale is about 1/12 and by today's standards you have to describe its look as very vintage: looks of studs exposed, countless illegal building techniques and some parts in wrong colours because I could not just order them on bricklink. But there is one part of the build I am still proud of today: the (not working) rigid suspensions. It is very funny how things can change in about a decade. I hope you like it. http://Ferrari F2002-3 by klingen_guru, auf Flickr http://Ferrari F2002-2 by klingen_guru, auf Flickr http://Ferrari F2002-1 by klingen_guru, auf Flickr http://Ferrari F2002-5 by klingen_guru, auf Flickr
  18. Hi! I have built a small MOC: R-F Racer. I have always wanted to build in this style because I like the retro-futuristic style very much. I also got inspiration from @HorcikDesigns's Wedge Car. It is also an excuse to use my rare parts Hope you like it and leave a comment! -TechnicRCRacer
  19. Good day. This wasn't really supposed to be a retro car, but while playing with different shapes out of flex-axles, the folllowing car was made. Statistics: -power by 3 pull-back motors on rear and 1 on front -max speed of 1'77 m/s (~6'37 km/h) Video & photos: More photos in my Flickr album here
  20. With this MOC I wanted to create the feeling of a working class area in Sweden during the 70s/80s. The car is a Volvo 242 DL from 1975. Hope you like it!
  21. Hey guys new to the forum but not to lego. Just started a new Youtube channel where Im speed building all the old sets i got when i was a kid. They range from about 1990-2009. Im just getting going on the channel so the list of sets will build as I go. I have roughly 2-250 sets so if you're a fan of older sets check it out. Thanks Travis
  22. Hey everyone! This is the topic for my all-new "theme" of MOCs, a series of creations designed to emulate LEGO's official set style. I'm excited because it represents quite a stylistic/genre shift from my last project like this, Dragon Lands, which was a fantasy series. Welcome to "Body Battlers," a retro-futuristic sci-fi adventure set inside the human body! Two 1950s teens—Roy and Tara—have been shrunk down to microscopic size to help a body's white blood cells fight off a dangerous infection, led by the evil disease Infekto. In this (openly pseudo-scientific) imagination of the fight that occurs constantly inside all of us, germs and antibodies are armed for battle, piloting cool machines and bouncing from one organ system to the next in their struggle. It's all ray-guns, pulse lasers, and niftyness! I really enjoyed playing around in a new genre, exploring the intersection between 1950s pop culture, retro-futurism, and human biology. MOCing in vibrant/"rare" colors, trying to create curved lines and distinctive silhouettes, and coming up with satisfactory set concepts were my most engaging challenges. Clicking the pictures below will link you to their larger versions. If you'd like to also see play feature videos, check out my Flickr stream. 52016 Gastro’s Diner 712 Pieces Resist the evil Infekto at Gastro’s Diner! In his wicked quest to sicken everything, Infekto has decided to corrupt the stomach, so he and Symnella have attacked Gastro’s diner, where honest cells go to get their glucose. Features a 1950s-style diner complete with tiled floors, padded vinyl seating, a jukebox, a sleek counter, and a fully stocked kitchen. Also includes a viral spore cannon and a stylized roadside sign. Change the marquis on top of the diner from neon print to a working six-shot defense cannon. Hide weapons inside the jukebox and the fuse box. Send the booth and table tumbling by pressing the lever. Shoot the viral spore cannon at the diner. Cover the diner in infection, or remove the infection bits. Open up the diner to change from rectangular to linear orientation. [MOC] Saucer Man from Planet X

Hi all :) First came the flying saucers! Now behold their foul other-worldly pilots! The dreaded Saucer Men from Planet X! Filmed in Invader-scope.
  24. This model was recreated in LDD by Eurobricks user @Stephan, which I then took and recolored in my red and gray color-scheme. I also added the opening cockpit from my older rocket model along along with new tail-fins and two less rocket stages. The two astronaut figures and one robot are also included in the LDD file! NOTE: Some parts would not fit on the rocket according to Stephan due to tolerance issues in LDD, and are left to the side in the file. They are hidden in the pictures, but they are there, so be alert when building in real life. You have been warned! Fictional background info for the rocket: This ship is the forerunner for all of the other Lego space ships: in 1970, this crucial piece of history launched from LegoLand Space Port for a mission to the moon. This was very soon after the failed 1965 launch of 801 series Space Rocket, which killed the the brave crew of Kat Aclysm: female rocket science genius and designer of the experimental ship, and Abraham "Abe" Normal, the best test pilot in the academy. Their deaths at the Samsonite launch pad were not in vain though, as the newly founded LegoLand Aero-Space Authority (renamed Classic Space Command in 1978) rebuilt their reputation as the premier brick-built space agency by launching the "Innovator", also known as LL001 which in early August 1969 made history as the first mini figure - built object on the moon! This rocket and it's crew (Bill Fold, Penny Wise, and S1L-V3R the robot) made history with their two days on the moon's surface, providing the foundations for the Classic Space Moon-base series of missions. The model still separates into sections, but the top most one of these has been replaced, thus reducing the segments to three. The rear of the rocket features five engines, the middle section a smaller bank of five thrusters, while the cockpit section has one singular engine. The cockpit still opens, and as usual should feature this print. The rocket features enlarged tail-fins inspired by 1950's / 60's science fiction. The fins SHOULD be able to take the weight of the rocket when standing vertical, but I'm not 100% sure, so build at your own risk. You have been warned! The height of the Saturn V dwarfs the smaller rocket of the previous design. (The older model is NOT in the LDD file!) The robot is inspired by the robot customer in the 2007 set number 4981 (a Spongebob set called The Chum Bucket), while the astronauts were inspired by the Sandy Cheeks mini-figure in set 3831 (Rocket Ride). The astronauts should have this print on their torsos. Here is the LDD file for the modified Saturn V, which also includes the two bubble - helmeted astronauts and the robot. The model is 100% build able in real life, and should be built by me around Christmas this year. Comments, questions and complaints are always welcome! EDITED 8/8/17: added new pictures and updated ldd file!
