    MOC the little post office

Welcome to The Little Post Office. The little post office is my newest MOC it is based on france bouwsteil, I designed the project for the Bricklink Designer Program series 1, if you like the project leave a smillie on bricklink if you want :) https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-1/377/The-little-post-office Please let me know what you think in the comments. I'm very curious what you all think of my project ground floor You can hand in all your parcels and letters at the post office or pick them up at the counter. The postman can weigh your parcel and then sort it into the post crates. The letters are sorted in a postal sorting rack with house numbers indicated in different colors, you can guess which buildings they are. Electric step charging station At the E-step charging point you can get a fully charged electric step to drive past all your favorite modular buildings. There is also an electrical inverter hidden under the stairs from the solar panels on the roof. In the Tech shop you can buy the latest technical gadgets including smartphones, telephone covers, computer with speakers, or an OLED TV. first floor The pharmacy is the place where you can get all your medication such as vitamins or pain relief. There is also a rack with bandages or plasters, there is also a cosmetics rack. In the office, every working day starts with a nice hot cup of coffee. The office contains an extensive interior including a. Copy machine Coffee machine Cabinet with folders Desk with two computers. second floor There are two apartments on the second floor. The left apartment has a kitchen, a dining table for two, a bed with bedside table and night lamp. In the apartment on the right lives a woman who likes to play games. In her apartment you can find a full bathroom, there is also a kitchen and a bed, but of course you should not miss the game chair and game station. The roof On the roof you can find three pairs of solar panels that can power the building. function All the balcony doors can swing open inwards. This modular building has a unique connection option. Normally you can connect a modular building as a straight street or in a corner of the street, this building has both options so that you can choose where you want it in your street.

    [MOC] Crazy Bus

Crazy Bus The Crazy Bus is the funniest, weirdest, and strangest bus out there. I built the Bus these days when I was forced to stay at home alone (!) and the thermometer touched 40 degrees, I felt like I was in hell! I was probably a little "dazed and confused" when I thought about it, however here it is. It is a sort of post apocalyptic refuge where two survivors, after yet another environmental disaster caused by human beings, find shelter to spend their days waiting for a new era. The front and the back of the bus can be connected with two simple technic pins thus forming a mini bus. It's even more bizarre this way! There are a lot of tools, objects and weird parts, check them out and have fun spotting them all. Enjoy!
  3. I've been staring at Hogsmeade Village Visit (set 76388) for a while now (ever since pictures leaked!), trying to figure out how to fit it into my vintage city... I think I may have figured out how to do so now with the added rear halves and removed Winter snow parts. This model's front half was originally from the Honeydukes sweet shop portion of Hogsmeade Village Visit. I added a look-alike back to it, changed the color to red, and turned it into a small post office with inside details on both floors. I also added a truck I built in real life way back in 2011 - modeled after the official Winter Village Post Office truck from set 10222 - which is now back to being used for a postal truck. (I have determined said truck is styled like a Ford Model AA (wiki link) just based on the front end alone.) Yes, the model is missing nine parts not in LDD. This includes four each of parts 48208 and 48205, and one of 35563, all in black for the roof. Inside features are as such: - Ground floor has the public area, with pay counter and several boxes / crates waiting to be shipped. - Upstairs (even though there is no stairs!) is the sorting area with plenty of mail being gone through to be delivered to it's destination. Everyone may have heard of the Ford Model T and maybe it's successor, the Model A. But here is something you may not know: The Model T and later Model A both had trucks made from the basic principles of those cars. They were called the Model TT & Model AA, which is where this Lego model comes in, as it's based off a Ford Model AA truck. (or at least that's what I think it it is - the model was originally from set 10222, Winter Village Post Office.) The rear of the truck has two tail-lights and a license plate. MODEL NOTES: The building can only open 90 degrees due to interference from the roof and building footprint. (The post office will be built shortly after the Polar Express house, and then the heavily-modified 76388 tavern early next year.) Thoughts?
  4. Villa Del Balbianello is a lakeside villa in Italy built in 1785 expanding on an existing structure from the 13th century. With later additions added throughout the years such as relics added from an explorer. It was also featured in films such as Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) and James Bond: Casino Royale (2006). Also a set on LEGO Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/85ec2902-0e20-40a8-9b18-4a79c9f560af
  5. Canada Post Mail Truck Promotional set 107-2 from 1985, mocked as I would loved it to be re-produced by Lego, built in 4-studs wide (5-wide for the semitrailer) in order to fit better than the today's City vehicles on the Classic Town Legoland road plates. 01 - 2 by George Legoman, on Flickr 03 by George Legoman, on Flickr 04 by George Legoman, on Flickr 07 by George Legoman, on Flickr 08 by George Legoman, on Flickr 01 - 4 by George Legoman, on Flickr
  6. How much trouble have you had getting LEGO by mail? I once ordered a few parts on BrickLink from a seller in the Netherlands. He sent them by airmail the day after receiving payment. They took five weeks to reach me in the UK. Five weeks! It's hardly any distance at all. What took the Dutch/British postal systems so long? I thought that was bad until today. I received a BrickLink order this afternoon that was sent airmail from Germany. It took over seven weeks to reach me. Seven f"([<!~9 weeks! Unbelievable. What do British/German postal workers do all day because it certainly isn't collecting and delivering mail? In both cases, the item was addressed correctly, had sufficient postage and was going from a major city at the sender's end to a large, easily reached UK destination.

    Hello!

Hello! I am mostly new to EB. I have a long history of building MOCs and modding sets. My Flickr page is https://www.flickr.com/photos/republicanswag/ . Some WIPs are only posted on EB. Have a good day!
  8. I know what you're thinking: this is simply a renamed Winter Village Post Office. Well, you'd be half right. It IS a post office mod, but only because I was struggling to come up with a use for this building, as I already have a Post office for my town. I finally came up with this: a old fashioned newspaper store. (NOTE: There are supposed to be printed 1x1 tiles saying "LEGO NEWS" on the 2x4 bracket seen in the main picture.) Welcome to LEGO NEWS. We stock many newspapers and magazines from all over the LEGO realm. We have the City Financial news, (crucial to any businessman) the Old Times, (for any nostalgic mini-fig), the Night Out, (catering to the denizens of the Monster Realm) and even the original LEGO News. (for just about anybody!) We also stock the Daily Prophet & the Quibbler (for any witch or wizard of any age), the Daily Bugle, (for your superhero fix) Yoda Chronicles (for your galactic news) and of course we have comics for the kiddies. Here we see the rear of the store, where newspapers are sorted and tied up for their deliveries to subscribers houses. We also see the car and camera of the lead reporter: she's the one who covered the Alien Conquest fiasco in 2011. Close up of the newspapers. Here we can see Night Out, City Financial News, LEGO News, & Old Times. LDD file: http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/80135/1396734007m.lxf Thoughts, questions, & complaints are always welcome!
  9. The future. The world is overrun by zombies. (We're talking 28 Days later/World War Z zombies, not slow stumbling ones.) How can I keep my gf and two dogs safe??? My first thought is either by air, or by sea... A flying boat it is! I made this over the past month or so, I hope you like it! C&C welcome and appreciated (Sorry for the picture quality!) The Pelican On either side of the fuselage is an escape hatch, and a canopy Powered by two massive custom engines, with wide props designed for maximum pull In between the engines on the top of the plane is a custom quad-tank Nitrous injector which feeds directly into each engine. Quick getaways are a must when there are zombies in pursuit... Also helps in situations where there isn't much water to take off from. Behind the Nitrous injector is a small communications array In the rear is a ramp which descends to unload the Rhino (we'll get to the Rhino in a bit) In between the engines is the observation deck/quarters On the right is a computer, in the middle is the bed, and on the left is a telescope for making sure there is none of the undead lurking on the shore... The Interior In the front of course, is the flight deck On the left of the interior is the armoury On the right is the medical station, with a stretcher and the critical syringes of anti-bite for when a zombie gets a little too close... In the rear is the Rhino bay What could that small opening above the floor be??? That's right! You guessed it! The doghouse! Let's open the hatch and have a look inside... Half of the inside is the doghouse, with an A/C/Heater unit. There is also a food dish, and a water bowl which feeds from a tank in the cabin The other half is shared by the Nitrous tank recharge station, and the safe. (I know, who needs treasure in the apocalypse, but whatever!) The rear section is reserved for my all terrain vehicle, the Rhino. The Rhino The engine, as you could have guessed has a Nitrous tank for quick boosts of speed when needed And away we go! Thanks for looking! To end things off, I made a small diorama so we could slaughter some zombies... I prefer the shotgun approach... While my beb prefers the flamethrower Thanks for checking it out!!!!!
