  1. This copy of set 43217 (UP house) has an added back half I bought instructions for off Rebrickable. You can see that model by user rykfield here. The model deviates from the film slightly, as there is a driveway with a 1960's car parked on it on the right hand side of the building as I figured Carl Frederickson needs a way to get around! (Please excuse the dusty keyboard) The new back half is very film accurate! The inside of the front of the house. I rearranged some of the furniture, replaced all the picture stickers with printed parts from various other themes, and added a a rug to the living room. The new back half, with furniture ideas drawn from several older modular buildings. (TV from Corner Garage, recolored wicker chair from Detective office) The modular base with the house removed. SQUIRREL! This early 1960's car was inspired by a 2013 LEGO CITY Undercover car. It was rebuilt by Labronco Brick Designs as seen here. I modified it a bit and remade it in blue instead of the original red The tailfins are my own addition to the car, making it either a late 50's / early 60's model. The car seats one figure, with a suitcase (or a walker) fitting behind the driver. That's all for this MOC. If you have any comments, questions, suggestions, or complaints, let me know below. Thanks for reading!
  2. In honor of the new "Lightyear" sets that were revealed yesterday, I decided to reveal my Space Ranger version of the spaceship in the style of PUG-Z from the old LEGO Worlds video game. I named the ship "42" in honor of the "Buzz Lightyear of Star Command" TV show's ship from twenty-two years ago (Was 2000 really THAT long ago?!?), which I watched a lot when I was younger and sadly is not streaming anywhere since Disney / Pixar have virtually disowned it. NOTES: The origin of the original ship itself is from the totally awesome (and sadly defunct) online free-roam video game LEGO Worlds, then recreated by user TOB1 and made into PDF instructions over on Rebrickable. The rear of the ship, featuring a main engine and two boosters. The landing legs can fold up for flight, as shown above. (yes, I dusted the ship after these shots... the model has been sitting on a table since December, and needed a storage bin until yesterday. I didn't think about dusting them until after taking photos. Sorry!) Buzz sits in the front to pilot, and the alien Bunny lady from Vydio will sit behind him when she gets here... I haven't figured out what she does. Scanning? navigation? weapons? Ideas would be nice, if anyone has any. Space Rangers from Left to Right: - Nic (short for Nicodemus) is a highly evolved rat with cybernetic implants for eyes because he was born blind. From a world called Thorn V.\ - Buzz Lightyear needs no introduction. - E.R.I.C. is a utility robot programed to help maintain starships. This one takes care of Buzz's rocket, 42. - Izzy Hawthorne (info redacted) - Clover comes from a world called Watership. She is an empath and can sense emotions / feelings in others. (I borrowed some characters from famous literature for the aliens: Nic is slightly based off the rat leader Nicodemus from 'Mrs. Frisby and Rats of NIMH' novel, while Clover is based (in name only) off of a character from the book 'Watership Down') Comments, suggestions, and complaints welcome. Would love to hear all you guy's thoughts on all of this!
  3. Hello friends, just thought I'd share my Finding Nemo LEGO project. Put a bit of time and energy into this one. Cheers! Finding Nemo, Dory & Friends LEGO IDEAS
  4. Sharing here my latest MOC of WALL-E powered by LEGO Control+ hubs and motors and controlled by LEGO Powered Up app. This is actually a recolor mod of my original b-model MOC for set 42100. All play features remain the same as seen in this demo: Full details, build instructions, and programming guide available on Rebrickable. WALL-E - https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-70839/gubsters/wall-e-technic-rc-powered-by-lego-powered-up-control/ WALL-L (Liebherr-Class) - https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-68302/gubsters/wall-e-phantom-b-model-for-liebherr-excavator-42100/ Let me know if you have any questions or any feedback. Appreciate it, thanks!
  5. By accident I stumbled across Scrat's face from Pixar's animated movie 'Ice Age' while messing around for a different MOC. Fate? Maybe. A reason to complete him? Absolutely! So here he is, in all his disaster provoking glory. Because he retired from film making a while ago and had a good deal of vacation in sunny Hawaii he turned out to be more brown than tan (so not at all because the required parts weren't available in tan, no of course not...) Hope you like him. Instructions & more pics also available @ rebrickable.com And if you want Scrat chasing after the acorn on your desk/mantelpiece/DVD collection or in your kitchen/bedroom/toilet (ok, better not in your toilet), you can get the full set here.

  7. Hi! I have recreated Gusteau's kitchen with 2800 lego bricks and submitted it on lego ideas! What do you think of the project? 10 000 votes can make this an official set, and I would love if you support for it on lego ideas here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/32190c3d-9497-4b3d-b288-3bb83decc5b4

    Transforming Lego Wall-E

Hi all - I'm a big fan of the 21303 Wall-E set, but I always wished that he'd be able to fold into a box like he did in the film. After a lot of tinkering, now he can! Peeking out: Fully unfolded: Almost all of the range of poses in the film are now possible, including poses in-between transformation. Here are a few examples: I also made a gif of the transformation (stop-motion): https://i.imgur.com/UqMKq6F.gifv And there's also a gif of the improved range of arm motion, that almost matches the range in the movie: https://i.imgur.com/KAyRTr7.gifv If you'd like to see more pictures, there are some at https://imgur.com/gallery/S6Dtgru. If you'd like tips on how to build this guy, I've compiled an album at https://imgur.com/gallery/Jb94JSw. Thanks for looking!
  10. Here is my review on 10770 Buzz & Woody's Carnival Mania! THE GOOD: Minifigures selection. Target shooting getting the classic canon. Surprise detailed builds on each attraction. Fun R/C cars design. THE NOT SO GOOD: Buzz Lightyear face print. Wish it is $10 cheaper. Recent Juniors line really gone the extra mile. I'm surprised with some of the details and build techniques in this one. Great to see the classic canon returning. Love the wheels for the remote control cars. And you also get most of the main characters in this set! I totally recommend this to any toy story fans, good minifigures selection and interesting builds.
  11. This is one of my entries for the Incredibles contest on Lego Ideas. It is meant to take place after the events of Incredibles 2. After moving back to the suburbs, the Incredibles invited their friends over for a BBQ to celebrate Dash's birthday! Dash is playing with his new toys and accidentally splashes Violet with water as he runs over the pool, but she's able to deflect it using her shield powers. Meanwhile, Elastigirl is putting the finishing touches on the decorations as she hangs up a banner by herself by stretching her arms. Frozone has just joined the party and is also using his powers to help decorate by turning the Incredibles' fountain into an ice sculpture. Mr. Incredible is by the grill holding a huge platter of food with his super strength. Jack-Jack is helping him grill the meat with his fire powers. Edna is throwing away an old cape that she found in Bob's closet while a racoon is stealing some trash. Just as they're about to eat, the party is crashed by Bomb Voyage and the Underminer, the two super villains that have escaped the Incredibles in the past! Bomb Voyage is about to literally blow up the Incredibles' inbox with a mail bomb while the Underminer emerges in a smaller version of his Tunneler which causes a pizza delivery truck to crash into a fire hydrant. Presents, cake, and fighting bad guys? Best birthday ever! I tried to include as many details as possible in this scene, including a few of the easter eggs that you see in all the Pixar movies, such as the pizza planet truck, A113, the famous Luxo ball and lamp, and a character voiced by John Ratzenberger. Can you spot them all? Please also check out my improved purist Bomb Voyage and Frozone minifigs here. Thanks for looking and have an incredible day!
  12. Hi all, Here is my LEGO version of Buzz Lightyear. About a year ago I noticed there weren't too many large-scale, detailed versions of the figure online. So I started putting bricks together, the old-fashioned way, no LDD etc. I started from the feet and legs up, wanting to use the 8x4x6 cone halves as shins. (Now that they're available in white, thanks to the Saturn V). The 8x4x6 cone halves really set the scale, since they provided the best shape for the legs out of every solution that I tried. Creating the round shape of the chest took quite a lot of work, but I'm pretty happy about the way it looks now. Things worked pretty smoothly, all the way up until the head. Boy, it's mighty tricky to create a nice-looking face out of bricks in that scale. So, after some attempts I gave into the grand compromise - to sacrifice the proportions and use the smaller-scale head and helmet from the set 7592. Perhaps the lack of Buzz Lightyear builds is largely due to the difficulty of creating a nice face to scale. I still haven't given up on the brick-built head. Maybe. What are your thoughts on my effort? You can see more and better pictures on my LEGO Ideas entry. If you think my Buzz has something good goin' on, I would also appreciate your support on the entry :) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/a514663e-9d97-4421-a89e-70278749244f
  13. Hello, I guess this creation doesn't need a description as most of you probably have seen Pixar's Up movie. I really enjoyed to recreate Carl Fredricksen's flying house in a scaled version. Non the less I got it to build it in the popping colours and included details such as the porch and downpipes. I hope you like and feel free to share your thoughts Jonas

    Grab Shell, Dude!

I built the big sea turtle for my girlfriend a few months ago. She asked me recently to take a professional picture of it. And then one thing led to another... The coral reef, Marlin, Dory, and Squirt all came together in just about an hour, but I'm quite happy with the finished composition. Hope you like it, leave any/all feedback below!

  17. The Evil Emperor Zurg has stolen Christmas! Now it's up to Buzz Lightyear and his pointy-eared helper to deliver toys to all the children in the galaxy in his super-fast Star Command sleigh! Celebrate the holidays with mini-models from all your favorite Pixar movies including the iconic Luxo Jr. lamp, the famous Pizza Planet Truck, WALL-E with his plant, Remy from Ratatouille, Dory from Finding Nemo/Dory, Carl Fredricksen's house from UP, and a remote-controlled Omnidroid from the Incredibles. This is my dream Lego advent calendar for the Brothers Brick Create-A-Calendar contest. The rules are to create 5-10 mini-models consisting of no more than 20 pieces each. UPDATE: By popular demand, I have recreated these models in LDD so that you can use the instructions to build some of these yourself! Click here to download the LXF. LEGO PIXAR Advent Calendar by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr I hope you liked it and have a happy holiday! To Infinity and beyo-ho-ho-nd!
  18. Hello everyone! I am new to eurobricks, however I have been a AFOL for many years now. I wanted to post my new MOC of The Incredibles Glory Days. The Incredibles may be my favorite movies and something about the flashback scenes hold a special place for me. I spent hours pulling as many details as I could from the movie to recreate my MOC as accurately as possible. I give you Lego The Incredibles Glory Days! Custom Minifigures: Movie Comparison: I have also posted to Lego Ideas if you would like to support. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/157150
  19. To all who come to this happy thread, welcome! As you may know, I'm a huge Disney fan, so after the popularity of the Purist Superhero Figs thread, I figured it would be great to have a similar thread dedicated to creating purist Disney minifigs! Since it will probably be a while until we get another series of Disney CMFs (if we get one at all!) it's up to us to fill up the roster of minifigs based on Disney movies. Anything from TV shows, short films, animated features, and live-action films is welcome here! Flesh skin-toned figs are preferred since they look more accurate and fit in with the CMFs (unless the character has a different skin color in the source material of course), but yellow figs are accepted as well. Allow me to start by sharing some of my creations. First off, here is a pure Joy from Inside Out. I made her yellow since she always has that golden glow. The Cyborg hair actually suits her pretty well. By the way, if you want an official Joy minifig as well as the other emotions, please support my Inside Out Ideas project! Pure Joy by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Next we have the Sultan and his trusted advisor Jafar along with Jago from Aladdin. The sultan's turban doesn't fit on his head completely due to the beard. He could use a cape, but sadly there are no tan capes. I'm pretty happy with Jafar, even though his skin is not the right tone. Sultan and Jafar by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Lilo & Stitch is probably the most under-represented property in Lego, so here are some figs to fix that: Lilo herself, Pleakley, and Cobra Bubbles. Lilo looks a little... boyish, but that's just because the head and hair that are most accurate for her come from male minifigs. Lilo, Pleakley, and Cobra Bubbles by Okay Yaramanoglu, on Flickr Also, this isn't mine, but somebody made a Beast using the minidoll head: So what combos can you come up with to make our Lego Disney dreams come true? Please share your creations along with a little description!

    Finding Nemo

We wanted to try to animate LEGO at a different scale, so we brick built fish puppets and created a mashup of Disney, Pixar, LEGO and Finding Nemo. Happy to answer any questions you may have. Our LEGO ideas project can be found here https://ideas.lego.com/projects/147252

  22. Ever wonder what those little voices inside your head are? Meet Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness, the emotions that guide you through your daily life! Riley is a happy, hockey-loving 11-year-old girl who, like all of us, is guided by her emotions. The emotions live inside the control center in Riley's mind dubbed Headquarters. This is also where all of Riley's memories are created and where her core memories are stored. From here, the emotions advise Riley through everyday life, led by Joy. But Riley's world turns upside-down when she is uprooted from her Midwestern life and she and her parents move to San Francisco. Riley's emotions try to guide her through this difficult, life-changing event. However, the stress of the move brings Sadness to the forefront. Will the emotions be able to get Riley through this challenging part of her life? You decide! About this Project: This is a Lego Ideas project that I designed using LDD, POV-Ray, and Photoshop. Based on Pixar's 15th hit animated movie, Inside Out, this playset depicts the inside of Headquarters. It includes minifigures of all five emotions and several key features of Headquarters such as the control console, the memory recall system, the core memories container, the tower, the memory shelves, and a couch with two footstools. Play Features: Take control of the situation with the control panel! Propose an idea to Riley by placing an idea lightbulb from the shelves at the base of the tower onto the stud on the console! Place core memories into the spinning core container! Recall memories by placing them on the translucent pole over the tube. But watch out! Don't let Sadness touch them! Roll the memories down the shelves! Turn the knobs at the back to redirect them to the next lower shelf! Take a break on the couch and rest your feet on the footstools! When Riley goes to sleep, have the emotions rest in the room at the top of the tower! Accessories include a flame piece for Anger (for when he gets really angry!), a notepad for Fear, a newspaper, a mug, and several memory orbs in the colors of each emotion. This project has been selected as today's staff pick! If you would like to have a LEGO version of the emotions and headquarters from Inside Out in your home, please support and share this project. It would bring lots of Joy to me and many other Pixar fans if this becomes a real set! Support this project here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/109759 Thanks, and stay positive!

  24. Pizza Planet Truck from Cars by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Hi everyone. This is just a quick build I did recently and thought I'd share it. It's a recreation of Todd the Pizza Planet truck from Pixar's Cars movies. Here's a reference image: Here's a picture of the back. It didn't really come out as detailed as I had hoped, but it was hard to do without decals at this scale. Pizza Planet Truck from Cars by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr I hope you like it. Feel free to comment.

    Huge MOC Lightning McQueen

Hello. This is huge MOC Lightning McQueen and its little brother the metal McQueen. Yes, like Tow Mater, it rolls. This weird idea comes to my mind one day when my son's birthday is coming: I wish to build him a giant McQueen and let him sit on it and ride it. By that time my son is 7 and you perhaps won't believe that LEGO bricks (without technic bricks or liftarms) can support a boy. The secret lies underneath the vehicle. I install more than 110 wheels there! Please enjoy the photos...
