[MOC] Town Square Toilet Paper Statue

In The Netherlands, people are hunting for toilet paper because the Covid-19 crisis. People are afraid the toilet paper runs out of stock, so they go to the supermarket to buy as much as possible toilet paper rolls. We have to take care of each other and the toilet paper. That's why I built this statue The Toilet Paper Statue brings people together to celebrate the existence of the toilet paper Pictures: 01_Town_Square_Toilet_Paper_Statue by Mathijs Bongers, on Flickr 02_Town_Square_Toilet_Paper_Statue by Mathijs Bongers, on Flickr Pictures also on Flickr: https://flickr.com/photos/mathijslegofan/albums/72157713599883376

Disclaimer: admittedly I originally posted this in the Technic forum as it is mostly technic. However I feel it really belongs here.

  4. Hi there, I've been looking everywhere for some high quality sticker paper for customizing minifigs. I'm seeing in videos and pictures everywhere that people are using clear sticker paper on minifigs, but they're not waterslide. I've searched all over the place, and I haven't found out anything about it. Not even the Eurobricks search function can shed some light on this! Anyways, I'm hoping to find some that are reasonably priced, high quality, easy to apply, and work with an inkjet printer. I don't really like the idea of waterslide decals because it seems to take a lot of skill and time commitment, both of which I really don't have much of. While white paper seems to do well (especially since you can't print white), but I'd prefer to use transparent (obviously I'd need white paper when I would need to print bright colors also, so yes, I guess I am going to need both white and transparent). I have been hearing a lot more recently about "labels". What are they? Is it just another name for a decal or sticker? Or is it literally using the materials that were originally meant for labeling for minifigure customization? Or is it something different altogether? I've seen professionals online use transparent stickers amazingly. TheCooperWorks and those old BrickForge decals from a few years back have proven that sticker paper is a suitable alternative. So please, if there any reasonably priced, high quality, easy to apply decals that work with an inkjet printer that you know of, I'd love to hear about it.

    Drawing paper

Hi all, When I'm designing the exterior of the vehicles I build, especially when it's a scale model of a real life vehicle, I tend to draw the contours on a piece of paper and put a grid over it see how every detail should be positioned. Although there are a lot of fancy computerprograms like photoshop which can do this for you digitally, I tend to do it on good ol' paper And I figured I may not be the only one who thinks photoshop is too complicated to do such a simple task, so I made a couple of pdfs and put them in a shared folder for you to enjoy too link In the folder you will find 4 files: a grid the size of 1x1 plates and a grid the size of 1x1 studs, both available in A4 and A3 printsize. Good luck with them!

  7. I know what you're thinking: this is simply a renamed Winter Village Post Office. Well, you'd be half right. It IS a post office mod, but only because I was struggling to come up with a use for this building, as I already have a Post office for my town. I finally came up with this: a old fashioned newspaper store. (NOTE: There are supposed to be printed 1x1 tiles saying "LEGO NEWS" on the 2x4 bracket seen in the main picture.) Welcome to LEGO NEWS. We stock many newspapers and magazines from all over the LEGO realm. We have the City Financial news, (crucial to any businessman) the Old Times, (for any nostalgic mini-fig), the Night Out, (catering to the denizens of the Monster Realm) and even the original LEGO News. (for just about anybody!) We also stock the Daily Prophet & the Quibbler (for any witch or wizard of any age), the Daily Bugle, (for your superhero fix) Yoda Chronicles (for your galactic news) and of course we have comics for the kiddies. Here we see the rear of the store, where newspapers are sorted and tied up for their deliveries to subscribers houses. We also see the car and camera of the lead reporter: she's the one who covered the Alien Conquest fiasco in 2011. Close up of the newspapers. Here we can see Night Out, City Financial News, LEGO News, & Old Times. LDD file: http://www.mocpages.com/user_images/80135/1396734007m.lxf Thoughts, questions, & complaints are always welcome!
