  1. Hello All This is the progress of my entry for TC6. I planned on making a 4wd supercar in late december, but I had no plans to enter TC6 due to the vast amount of high quality entries. But then I realized when I was building the Huracan that it complied with the rules and regulations for TC6 and thus decided to enter. I have read the rules and regulations for TC6 with extreme care, and in that the car has 4 motors, 4 motorized functions and 4 outputs of the IR receiver. So hear are the elements of the car I'm building. * 1 XL motor for drive (originally I always put at least 2 XL motors in any of my supercar mocs but the 4wd drivetrain in this moc was so productive and clever with the XL motor usage, that the gearbox manages to even triple the amount of torque of 1 Xl motor in first gear, and double the torque of 1 XL motor for second gear, uses the same equal amount of torque in third gear but in fourth gear it produces the same torque as an L motor.) * 1 Servo motor for steering * 1 M motor for the primary gear selector * 1 M motor for the secondary gear selector The car uses a Sariel gearbox which I discovered was brilliant for 4wd cars (the car can still perform as well with 1 L motor!), it was frankly the best 4 speed gearbox I could find, and the most versatile because I might use it in an offroader one day, the car results in having 2 gear selectors but Sariel pioneered it so well without using the the standard lego gear collar format found in all gearboxes made by lego themselves. The gearbox collars always had a certain power delay or lag and that wasted torque during launches and gear changes and also makes the motors work harder than they should, but Sariel used a dual linear sequential format which makes the car more responsive during gear changes and launches and made everything instant and this helps the motors put less stress on them which makes the power usage more effective. Eurobricks won't allow me to post more pictures so In future posts I will send more pictures. But here is a link to a collection of the WIP pictures of this moc https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/117883514691193486949/albums/6100970086868727953 The cars 10 cylinder arrangement will be flat instead of a V shape, because of limited space. I will be updating this topic as soon as significant progress is made, feel free to reply and suggest and methods for the body and interior, or any errors I have made. Once the car is complete, I will make a new final topic of the TC6 lamborghini huracan, were I will present a video and absolutely everything about the car. Thank you for viewing this topic LeocornoProductions
  2. AWD MiniKart is my latest creation using three differentials. This is my first attempt at building an All-Wheel-Drive drivetrain, but it was worthwhile the effort. I wouldn't say this is a huge success, but it works well on perfectly smooth terrain. I do have a few ideas for a 4x4 vehicle now ;) It uses two Large Motors to drive the center differential which distribute the power to all four wheels, and the Medium Motor steers the Rack and Pinion setup. I also built a custom base stand for some video purposes; it's not hard to build and has good usages. Any more information you would like will be happily answered. Until NXT time… DamonMM2000 Please click to watch a detailed video on AWD MiniKart!
  3. Hello everyone, I’ve just bought RC motor and I wanted to make a relatively simple and fun to drive off-road vehicle. Here is my first off-road MOC: Video of driving outdoors with basic info: Short review and indoor action (jumps and drift): Basically, I tried to make it as light as possible – it weighs 502g. It is 35 studs long, 19 studs wide and 16 studs high. Drive: 1 RC motor (outer output) directly connected to the rear wheels - RWD only. Relatively long travel suspension (front independent, rear dragged axle), and decent ground clearance. 8878 battery is in the middle, set lowest possible, for better weight distribution. Also there are few details in the interior. The IR receiver is hidden between battery and the servo (to save space, it partly goes under the servo motor). Servo motor for steering (with 4 round plates at each side also acts as a fake V8 engine under the hood). Doors and hood can be open, they come with safety locks to prevent unwanted opening - very often on rough terrain For sense of scale, here it is next to my 9398 Crawler: At the end, I really need to share my impressions about RC motor. It is really impressive, especially after I got used to the characteristics of the PF motors and tried almost every combination (PF motors&batteries) to achive better performance Of course, I knew it is fast, but nevertheless, you should've seen huge smile on my face on the first test drive. I wish I could turn back time and buy it earlier! More photos can be found at: MOCpages - http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/397115 Flickr - https://www.flickr.c...57647629179022/ All in all, this turned out to be very fun to play MOC, hope you'll like it…
  4. Hello everyone, This is another creation that I made before joining Eurobricks, which I'd really like to share with you: Plan was to make relatively simple, light and fast car (it was before I bought RC motor). It is 37 studs long, 19 studs wide and 12 studs high and weighs 589 g. Two L motors are coupled and geared 5:1. Power is transmitted, without differential (my attempt to increase drifting capabilities) to the rear wheels only. Servo motor is for steering and everything is powerd by 8878 battery (easy accessible for charging). Working 4 cylinder boxer engine and serpentine belt part which drives fake fan. Doors can be opened. It also has: - working steering wheel (directly connected to second output of servo motor). - functional glove box and some other details in the interior. - fake fuel tank at the front, with filler cap that can be opened. - custom stickers, chromed details and a smile on the face of the person who drives it More photos can be found at: MOCpages - http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/384440 Flickr - https://www.flickr.c...57642862140243/ I hope you'll like it…
  5. I really liked the look of 42005 Monster Truck, but wanted to motorize it. I found Splat's motorized version, which helped kick me into gear and order the necessary parts. Once all the parts arrived from several BrickLink orders, I started thinking: why not try motorizing the model without following Splat's build? Later, I'll tear my design apart and try his build. So here is the result of my tinkering. Motorized LEGO 42005 by niaconis, on Flickr I've been able to retain much of the look (and build) of the official LEGO model. Motorized LEGO 42005 by niaconis, on Flickr The battery box is easily removable and slips into the empty space at the back of the truck for use. Motorized LEGO 42005 by niaconis, on Flickr It is possible to charge the battery without removing it from the vehicle. Motorized LEGO 42005 by niaconis, on Flickr A BricksTer Open Source Bluetooth receiver prototype is mounted to the frame using technic pin/axles and half bushings. I found I needed the bushings because the holes are sized for studs, which have an ever so slightly larger diameter than technic axles. Motorized LEGO 42005 by niaconis, on Flickr A servo motor mounted in the front steers the front wheels while an L motor mounted at the back drives the rear wheels. I wish I could have geared down the drivetrain more, but I found I currently have no 48-tooth gears. Motorized LEGO 42005 Steering Demo by niaconis, on Flickr In the animated gif, you can roughly see how it is steered with an Android phone. And finally, I present a short video showing the monster truck driving around in a local park, controlled by the new proof of concept accelerometer input for the BricksTer Android app (which you can also see in the gif). Thanks for reading this far! I appreciate critique, comments, and suggestions!
  6. Hello everyone, I finished this 8070 modification two months ago (before I joined Eurobricks) and I would really like to hear your thoughts about it. It has adjustable air suspension and motorized/remotely controlled driving and steering... You may have already seen it in a drag race video with my hot rod Lucky 13. Original 6.5 L hard springs have been changed with 6.5 L soft spring + small pneumatic cylinder, for all wheels. It has large pneumatic pump at the back and pneumatic switch at the cabin for controlling the riding height. It also has working steering wheel and remotely controlled original functions (doors, rear spoiler and hood - choice of a function is done manually with gearbox lever, like in the original). It has additional two L motors for driving and M motor for steering, two IR receivers (one of them V2). Original battery box has been replaced with smaller 8878 - hidden behind panels at the rear for more realistic appearance. More photos can be found at: MOCpages - http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/391089 Flickr - https://www.flickr.c...57645381445513/ I know that 8070 is an old set and that there are mixed feelings about it but I hope you will like this version...

  8. Hi guys! I am new here so I wanted to show you my trial truck! http://nxt45.files.wordpress.com/2013/11/img_0705.jpg Full description & YouTube video on my blog: http://nxt45.wordpre...go-trial-truck/ (how do you post YouTube videos?) As always Happy building! NXT45
  9. Hi guys. I'm back with my latest ongoing build, an 8x8. Each axle has it's own ball-joint suspension, so the ground clearance and articulation are both very good. Independent steering on the two front axles using two M motors. Two XL motors for drive with a final ratio of 3:25. Overall a very sturdy and well-performing truck.

  12. Hello, here is the new topic. The original was http://www.eurobrick...wtopic=84735 but I hadn't finished it, and Rick already posted something and locked it, even though I was still editing. If any administrator sees this, please delete the original topic immediately. Sorry for the inconvenience. Rick, why did you have to lock it, I was still editing! Anyways, here is one of my first Technic MOCs, a tank! I've always wanted to make a tank, I finally got the parts from Bricklink and built this! It includes a machine gun with flashing lights, suspension and a working gun. I didn't have enough remotes and motors, so I just used a hand crank for the machine gun and a switch to the main gun. I used the help of gear ratio a lot here! Special thanks to Steve Nesta and Pawel "Sariel" Kmiec. Here is the video- Pictures of the main gun mechanism- Pictures of the machine gun- Pictures of drive and suspension-
