    Sports Chair

After spending a portion of my evening melding one extra curricular with another, I bring you: This is a slightly modified version of Louise Dade's very cool creation. Additional angles can be found here in my Flickr account

    The 'Nam Wreckin Crew

The Nam Wreckin Crew are the meanest, deadliest, bunch of S.O.B.s ever to pull on a uniform. Pictured here at muster they are selecting their gear for their next mission on Cheeseburger Hill. NWC act as problem solvers for the US army when actions go bad or things just get to hot to handle. Officially these guys don't exist running black Ops for the Administration. The NWC are hand picked and led by the ruthless Sergeant Frank Statton III seen here front and centre. The Team. Darryl "Heavy D" Payton. M60 Support Gunner - Outhouse doors want to be like him when they grow up. Tommy "Thumper" Johnson - Responsible for punching a way into hot zones and droppin' smoke for Copters at the exfil.. Don "Tick Tock" Banner - Demolitions and the teams grease monkey. Bob "Psycho" Busch - Tunnel Rat, No right to be alive but he's still breathing despite being, shot, stabbed and blown up. Seemingly nothing can stop this combat tank. Ralph "Smokey" Polawski - Wants to see the whole world burn and frequently does... Some of the customisation I have done is as follows: Daryl - Painted Boonie Hat The Sarge - Hat String and rank decal Psycho - Bandages wrap round entire body (not really visible) Tommy and Bob added helmet straps Bob custom flamethrower with some painted elements Hope you enjoy them!
  3. Adding to my Discworld project: The Horsemen of the Apocalypse including the one that left before they became famous From left to right: War, Famine, Death, Pestilence and Kaos. Kaos left to fullfill his lifelong dream; becoming Ronnie Soak, a milkman. Nothing better then fresh dairy in the morning. This makes him the Pete Best of the Horsemen. The others ofcourse went on and accosianally turn up when someones world collapses no matter how great or small the collaps. Work is work after all these days. 5. Hello Everyone! I would like to play a game, or you can call it a psychological experiment as well. Since several Collectable Minifigures series had been introduced, I can’t help thinking that every series has a specific “tone”. In some series there are many figures with a white ground color, while in other series many are dark. I guess it was not intentional from TLG, but it is there I think. I wondered how I could interpret it, and I decided I will make a 4x4 “palette” from each series. In every palette one color represents one minifigure. Deciding which color should be used for a certain minifig, I used the CGI image of the series, and picked ONE color for each figure from it. So these are not official Lego colors. In many cases the choice was pretty clear: the Lizard man is green obviously, but which color to use for the small clown? Red, blue or green? Sometimes this one color is a mixture of the specific colors of the minifig – I didn’t want to use plain white color for many minifigs. Doing these palettes was great fun, after each one I felt satisfied, thinking “Oh yes, it really looks like the essence of the series. However, putting these palettes next to each other for this post, it seemed that there are many similarities. But if you look them thoroughly, you will see that all are unique. And this is what I ask from you: Guess! Which one is which? Maybe some of you – or all of you – think that this guy has lost his pills. “What is he talking about?” “These are just a bunch of colors!” But I do hope, that some of you will have a great time solving it. 4 1 7 8 5 9 6 3 10 2 SOLVED!

    Minifigure Ranks

Did anyone ever give ranks to each specific colored classic space minifig, or any other theme for that matter? Please post them here.
  7. The 2012 LEGO Minifigure Catalog is now available. On its 170 pages it contains more than 500 minifigures that were released in 2012. I have even been able to include photographs for the ultra rare Super Heroes ComicCon and Toyfair Minifigures (thanks Dan, Greg & Huw!).
  8. I have seen numerous solid color minifigs, in white, grey, black, and others in various MOSs. Some of these colors are good for statues n the like. I've tried to search on BL for solid color MF's with no luck. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Andy D
