    [MOC] WarScape Volume 4

Hey all, Some of you may remember my previous WarScape creation (http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream). In case you missed it, WarScape is a microscale castle adventure that is built in a modular form, and each module has a little substory attached to it that connects to an overall story. Its incredible fun. WarScape Series: Volume 1 by Sean and Steph Mayo Volume 2 by Blake Baer Volume 3 by LukeClarenceVan Anyhow, here is volume 4 (for the other volumes, look above)! Please enjoy. Thanks for all the support and encouragement over the years. MSFC : Survivors

Hi everybody, this is my entry for the Micro Sci-Fi Contest: It represent a community of survivors in a futuristic post-apocalypctic world, where they have to live under a biosphere, producing fresh air to survive in. I'll try to put in better pictures before the contest ends. Any comment or suggestion is welcome! Thanks to all Bye Teazza

Hello Everybody! Today I present you my latest mini modular moc, which is my 4th one by now. I built it as an another addition to the official LEGO Set 10230 and I simply call it "Townhouse". MSFC: Mos Eisley Spaceport

Here's my entry for Si-MOCs' awesome Micro Sci-Fi Contest. I decided to build the scene from the Mos Eisley Spaceport where Han Solo encounters Jabba the Hutt. A couple of overview shots. And the Falcon up close. If I get a couple more thermal detonator tiles I may have to build the whole ship... Thanks to the sponsors and organizers of this contest, and thanks for viewing! And maybe voting... ;)

    MOC: Microscale Mule from Serenity

As promised, I made this little Mule today from the movie 'Serenity'. It's not exactly what I wanted, but with the parts I had I think it works - I like the little crew! FAPC: Black Widow Interceptor

Here is my entry to the Forbidden Animal Planet Contest. The Giant Spider Colony of Arachnos V has had enough of the human incursion into their territory, so decide to attack an outpost on one of the smaller moons orbiting the planet. The humans are taken completely by surprise by the airborne assault, and the outpost is soon ablaze. Defensive cannons and anti-aircraft cannons fire up at the attacking Black Widow Interceptors manned (or should that be 'spidered'?) by the elite Red Guards, but damage to the Spider ships is minimal. Wolf Spider Stealth-Recon Ships flit over the battlefield, directing the Giant Spider Shock Troopers, but this infantry has to contend with the human's Main Battle Tank as it defends the bridgehead. Will the Giant Spiders succeed in their mission to retake their territory, or will the humans 'stamp' out this rebellion? Giant Spiders Attack! by mjfirefly, on Flickr Main Battle Tank - Microscale, with Giant Spider Pilot for reference by mjfirefly, on Flickr 'Wolf'' Spider Recon Ship by mjfirefly, on Flickr More pics can be found by clicking on any of the above pics which will take you to the relevant Flickr set. Thanks!

    MSFC Blacktron Mining Plant

Hi all! Here’s my entry for the Micro Sci-Fi Contest: This is a microscale Blacktron mining plant, situated - obviously - on Planet Blacktron. You say: weren’t Blacktrons a group of raiders? Yes, you're right, but they also needed iron to make starships, so… :-) One thing I noticed during the making of this vignette: I’m really bad at building microscale stuff (this is my first one), so I had to “cheat” with the addition of a flying Blacktron mining droid, just to make everything better eh eh! Anyway everything fits a 16 x 14 studs baseplate, so I'm still legit (or at least I think so). Additional notes & credits: some mecha building techniques are taken from flickr user IronSniper (I think he’s the best at it). The overall idea of the mining plant is taken from classic Lego sets and from The Brothers Brick administrator Nannan Z (see his “Oasis” diorama, it’s one of the best Sci-Fi Lego things I’ve ever seen). Hope you’ll enjoy it and forgive my english…

PM me if you have a build that you'd like to show in the GoH Advent Calendar. Original Post: So today I was helping my son rebuild his 2011 Star Wars Advent Calendar, and then build some new random microscale starships of his own design to add to them, and I thought: we should have a Guilds of Historica Advent Calendar build! It could have GoH microscale builds of buildings, vignettes, vehicles, and creatures, as well as perhaps a few unusual, custom minifigures that fit with GoH. So I'm going to kick it off with two little builds he and I did today. I'll try to add some more, but everyone feel free to chip in and add your own, and I'll update the first post with everyone's pictures and short descriptions.

    MOC Lighthouse

After finishing my first bigger project (medieval diorama) I wanted another challenge. Since I learned some nice new tricks and techniques from Derfel's Guide, I decided to start on some round buildings in minifig scale. After trying out different techniques, I established a solid base for a start...and ran out of specific bricks I need for the build. Instead I moved down to microscale, and made my first miniMOC - a very simple lighthouse on an island. While flying over the island, this is what you get to see... One thing is clear, it's much easier making round builds in microscale. Yet, a challenge at the minifig scale remains...
