  1. Location: King's Harbour Type: Small Cultural (Government office) Governor Cooke sat in his office reading his mail. There was a knock on his door, and a soldier entered. The request by North White, on Flickr "There's a Lady Mesabi here to see you sir." the soldier said. "Curious, send her in." He replied. Countess Mesabi entered holding an envelope. The request by North White, on Flickr "Good afternoon, Governor Cooke. As acting Chair of the Wayfarer Trading Corporation, I'd like to formally present to you our request." She said cautiously, and handed him the envelope. "Very well, Madam." he said, equally cautious. The request by North White, on Flickr He opened the Envelope, and began to read. The request by North White, on Flickr "So, Governor Cooke, What say you?" She asked. FIN Just a small build requesting the licensing status for the WTC. Sorry @Bregir, I had like none of the parts you showed me for Cooke. King's Harbour is free to license this, I'll be concentrating my efforts in Mesabi Landing this month. C&C appreciated, and I look forward to hearing from you @Bregir as to the WTC's Status!
  2. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Medium Commercial "I can't believe he's late again." Said Pete Zanzibar It's 12:00, and he's still not here. "You haven't gotten to know him." Said Sally. WTC sales division by North White, on Flickr Joseph Zumbro strolled leisurely down the path to the Sales Division Building No. 3. WTC sales division by North White, on Flickr He opened the door and walked in. WTC sales division by North White, on Flickr "You're late again Mr. Zumbro!" Said Karren, the secretary, her face a mess of makeup, as usual. "Well, I had to get over this hangover!" He said with a smirk. "Also it's not like we're doing anything important today!" "Mr. Zumbro, we have a mission briefing!" She said in a concerned voice. "Exactly, nothing important!" He left her desk and walked over to Pete. WTC sales division by North White, on Flickr "Mr. Zumbro, I can't believe you're late again. Do you know how unprof-" Mr. Zumbro cut Pete off. WTC sales division by North White, on Flickr "You know who my aunt is. Besides, do you really care enough to do something about it? I mean it's not like you can control me. We learned that lesson." Said Mr. Zumbro chidely. Zumbro walked over to the next desk "Ugh, you're late again," Said Bradley Stevens, the team accountant. "Just because the Countess is your aunt..." WTC sales division by North White, on Flickr Zumbro picked up Bradley's Coffee and drank it. "Ugh, why isn't this a Sea Rat Coffee? Every Coffee needs liquor!" "Hey! And not only is that racist to Sea Rats- Bradley was cut off "Who are jerks." Said Zumbro "I..." "Have no good response because you're not as awesome as me?" Sally Whistled loudly. "Everyone! We have a briefing to do!" WTC sales division by North White, on Flickr The group gathered around the table. Pete Spoke up. "So, Trador. A Large Eslandolan town just a zone outside our own. Dominated by MAESTRO." "Wait, what does MAESTRO stand for again? Misfits Acquiring Esoteric Stuff, Trading, at Random Outposts?" Asked Zumbro "No, it's Mypa-Stedor... Something Something.. I don't know." Said Pete. "So what about them?" Asked Sally "Well, there are goods they sell that we don't. And goods we sell that they don't." Added Pete "Like anything involving horses?" Asked Zumbro, "Cause we killed a looooot of Horses last month." "Basically. Anyways, we need to establish an office there. And the last time we were there...." WTC sales division by North White, on Flickr "Yeah Yeah. We were pretty drunk after that soccer match. We got some neat stuff out of that warehouse though." Said Sally. "Yeah... And also probably ruined relations with them. So, do what you can." Said Pete angrily. "To destroy their water supply and orchards?" Asked Zumbro "No! To set up a company house, and to start doing business with them. You idiot." Said Pete. "So get a ship and get on it!" "Are you sure?..." "Yes!" FIN Thanks for viewing the character introduction for Joseph Zumbro. I'm trying to work on adding more characters so I'm not limited to just Agnes and the Count. C&C appreciated everyone.
  3. Location: Breshaun Type: Small Commercial "Wow! Breshaun sure is great! It's the largest city on the brick seas! And it sure is nice!" Said Captain Kelly, of the WTC Teamwork. "Yeah, and everybody here is so nice. How do they afford all this?" Said Jane, his right hand woman. Highway robbery by North White, on Flickr "Excuse me sir, is this the place where we register our profits for the KPA?" Kelly asked the guard. Highway robbery by North White, on Flickr "Hehehe. Yep! Go on in." He said with an evil laugh. The two went into the office. An Oleonese Noblewoman sat at the desk. Highway robbery by North White, on Flickr "Well well well, thank you for docking in Breshaun. Are you ready to pay the tax?" She said with an evil grin. "Wait, isn't there supposed to be a free market?" Asked Kelly. "No! Of course not! We need to fund our public endowment to the arts by stealing- I mean taxing ship's profits! Here, read this." She said. Highway robbery by North White, on Flickr "Wait what? You're holding us hostage?!?!" Asked Kelly incredulously. "No... Now give us the money! MWAHAHAHA!" Highway robbery by North White, on Flickr "At least that's how I remember it," Kelly wrote in his diary. FIN Thanks for viewing my build! Just a little poke at Oleon for having such high taxes. I'm sure they appreciate the building in their settlement as well. I'll make sure to pay by the end of the month. Is it Oleon or Breshaun I'm paying? C&C appreciated!
  4. Arlinsport AdvisorThe Economic Guide to the SeasIssue 1, Vol 2 Wealth on the Brick Seas Wealth on the Brick Seas has long been measured by the standardized unit of Doubloons. (replacing the antiquated term of piece of eight) But how is wealth distributed on the Brick Seas. Read along to find out! Notes: This analysis does not factor in everything. It does not include players who make extra income as mayors, and does not include any MCRA funds being added. Only assured funds are added to the counts in this analysis. Sea Rats The Sea Rats have long been known for their squalor and abject poverty. They have little and often resort to piracy and breaking agreements to make ends meet. Just last month, after agreeing to return a ship in return for some property creation, Captain Silas Pike ordered the ship scrapped to fill his own coffers. Fortunately, these wretches are poor, as empires are far better than a bunch of loners building small settlements. The Sea Rats Currently make the following: Sea Rats Summary Account Holdings Income Sea Rats 5,503 36 Settlements 2,613 292 Players 20308 770 Corporations 323 20 As one can see, most income generated by the Sea Rats comes from it's players. However, this has left their leadership poor and feeble. Making them easy pickings if there ever was a war... But the Arlinsport Adviser would not be a quality magazine if it did not include graphics! Sea Rat Pie by North White, on Flickr Oleon Oleon's selfish nature may soon be their downfall, as they have concentrated much of their earnings in their central government. Almost half of Oleon's total income is generated by Oleon itself, not factoring out taxes or fees, something that was not counted in this review. Their holdings are far better distributed, but with their taxes, their players may soon begin to suffer. Perhaps their faith will lead to their downfall... Oleon Summary Account Holdings Income Oleon 23,375 2016 Settlements 4584 456 Players 47536 1620 Corporations 810 133 Little to none of Oleon's holdings are in their corporations, and citizen's income makes up only 80% of what the crown makes. But here's a friendly graphic! Oleon Pie by North White, on Flickr Corrington Long known as the greatest most orderly most scientific nation of the world. Corrington's efforts to help the Mardian people alone should be something to stand back in awe for. However, Corrington herself has not kept up the process of keeping one's coffers full. Despite being great, projects have lagged behind, including the Cocovia wagonway, which still needs to be completed. However, here is an overview of Corrington Corrington Summary Account Holdings Income Corrington 14059 660 Settlements 5110 810 Players 49858 2003 Corporations 16,923 1193 As can be seen, most of Corrington's wealth is generated by her citizens. But these numbers, while impressive, will seem inadequate compared to Eslandola. Corrington Pie by North White, on Flickr Eslandola Eslandolans are well known for their ability to rub two coins together and produce a third. They are money grubbing folks who make a ton of money and manage to hang onto a ton of money even though they were at war with the Mardians. Anyways, they have money. Eslandola Summary Account Holdings Income Eslandola 23,829 1446 Settlements 5660 791 Players 94986 3618 Corporations 15,216 2256 Most of the Esladolans earnings and income comes from their citizens. They also have a very healthy private sector, and public sector. Anyways, their filthy rich. Eslandola Pie by North White, on Flickr Overview But the Eslandolans true power can be seen when all of the nations are compared at once. Nation Total Income Corrington 85950 4,761 Eslandola 139,691 8146 Oleon 76,287 4225 Sea Rats 28,747 1128 Making almost twice what Corrington and Oleon produce, the Eslandolans are poised to take the Brick Seas with their money. BoBS Bars by North White, on Flickr (Blue is holdings and red is income) So, things will get interesting on the Brick Seas, as the gap between the nations continues to grow. Giving us a lot of things to fear... Advertisements Are you Hungry for Horses? Horse meat is the new in on the Brick Seas. So we'd like to ask you, are you hungry for Horses? WTC: Your solution to Chaos! The Wayfarer Trading Company is proud to announce the opening of at least 5 factories over the past month. Can your Trade Corporation say that? OOC: Thanks for viewing this analysis. Yes, I know the MCRA is a major source of income. No, I'm not going to argue about it, as it's unpredictable, and hard to measure. C&C welcomed
  5. Location: Arlinsport Type: Medium Factory Ever since the emergence of the WTC, horse life spans had decreased significantly. Sticky Business by North White, on Flickr But the WTC was never an organization to cause problems! Sticky Business by North White, on Flickr And so, Horse Skeletons were brought to the WTC's processing center in Arlinsport Sticky Business by North White, on Flickr A large loading dock allows for loading from both land and sea. Sticky Business by North White, on Flickr Sticky Business by North White, on Flickr Inside, skeletons are dismembered into small pieces. Sticky Business by North White, on Flickr Next, they are boiled into a sticky gel that makes an easy glue for uses throughout the colonies Sticky Business by North White, on Flickr All that's left is loading them into crates! Sticky Business by North White, on Flickr WTC: A leading pioneer in innovation. FIN Thanks for viewing my factory! This build should finally nudge Arlinsport into city territory, and bring Corrington into a new age of science, and innovation. I'm actually quite proud of this one, although I'm not entirely sure if my portrayal of glue making is accurate. Either way I'm happy with it. C&C appreciated!
  6. Location: King's Harbour Type: Royal Commercial The WaywardMart™ of King's Harbour had opened along the railway to sell goods for the WTC. WaywardMart by North White, on Flickr "5 Dbs for a barrel of horse glue?!? I could buy a house for that much!" Said an outraged Corrington soldier. "All prices are set by corporate. However, if you'd like to apply for our customer loyalty program, you can earn points towards future purchases, in our stores across the brick seas." Said the cashier boredly "I don't want a loyalty program, I just don't want to be robbed when buying supplies!" he said. "If you want, you can fill out a survey that you can mail in for a chance to win a 200 Db spending spree at any of our locations. It's on the back of the receipt." The cashier replied WaywardMart by North White, on Flickr "I'd take my business elsewhere, but you're the only supplier left! It's like everyone else who sold goods was driven out of business in unsavory or suspicious circumstances...." "Thank you for stopping at WaywardMart™." The cashier said tiredly, before returning to his book. WaywardMart by North White, on Flickr Agnes, meanwhile, was drunk in the storeroom, again displeased at the lack of progress on the railway. It was almost as if Corrington was ignoring the project. WaywardMart by North White, on Flickr Fortunately, the railway was able to ship things from the docks to the warehouses and stores. Meaning it had some use.... FIN Thanks for viewing my general store! This originally was going to be licensed as an Artisan, but after I had built it, I realized it was more commercial. Fortunately, it incorporated the CWW, so I've decided to have this be another entry to the wagonway. I'm happy with the build. I could have done more with the roof I feel, but as I have a lack of cheese slopes, I've been doing flat roofs lately. I hope this isn't to much like my last build, but I've tried to use different techniques with each of my builds. C&C appreciated!
  7. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Medium Factory As acting Mayor of Mesabi Landing, Karl Mordo had to oversee the opening of new factories. Not that he wanted to be mayor. In fact the position had started to take over his personal life as well. Mesabi Landing Foundry 2 by North White, on Flickr This was the second Cannon Factory on Argentia, adding to the Island's destructive power. But what Karl really wanted was a nice nap. He grumbled as they let him in. Mesabi Landing Foundry 2 by North White, on Flickr The WTC foreman spoke. "Much like our other factory, we melt things down into a mold on a rail system. Mesabi Landing Foundry 2 by North White, on Flickr "Iron Ingots, old swords, and other useless things are all turned into cannons here." Mesabi Landing Foundry 2 by North White, on Flickr Molten Iron flowed into the mould with a hiss. Mesabi Landing Foundry 2 by North White, on Flickr Th mold was wheeled out of the factory to cool in the cooler air outside. Mesabi Landing Foundry 2 by North White, on Flickr And for the next four hours, Karl Mordo was forced to make awkward small talk with the WTC's most boring Foreman. Because he needed to verify that the same iron poured into the cannon mould would become the cannons as mandated by Corrish Law. Mesabi Landing Foundry 2 by North White, on Flickr Finally the mould was cracked open, revealing four small deck guns. "We pride ourselves on being able to recycle the mould here." The foreman said happily. Karl Mordo sighed. It was hot out. Mesabi Landing Foundry 2 by North White, on Flickr Finally the barrels were drilled out to Corrish standards, making another set of working cannons. Mesabi Landing Foundry 2 by North White, on Flickr "We'll have a third soon." Said the foreman. But Karl Mordo had already walked off... FIN Thanks for viewing my build! Sorry for the hiatus. Although my hiatus seems to be how much time it usually takes the rest of you to build something. C&C appreciated!
  8. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Small Residence Challenge: Merrynight Mystery Minichallenge It was another day in Mesabi Landing, and Agnes was settling back into the routine of the Horse meat lunches, alcoholism, and explosives misuse. Merrynight by North White, on Flickr She continued work on a letter, until her two children ran in. Merrynight by North White, on Flickr "Merry Merrynight Mommy!" Said her daughter, Morissa. "Morissa Honey, Mommy is trying to write a letter to get some people fired." "But it's Merrynight Mom" Said her son, Kevin, "Tell us a Merrynight Story!" Merrynight by North White, on Flickr "Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine. Once upon a time, I was a young girl in Belson. It was the Merrynight Ball and your grandmother was being a nag." Merrynight by North White, on Flickr "Agnes Honey, you should get back to the ball. If you want to meet a man, you need to put yourself out there. It's not like you have the looks, charm, or cooking skills to meet a man normally." Said Lady Zumbro. "Mother, I will throw you over this balcony, and tell Father you were drinking again." Said Agnes "I'm just saying I want grandkids," Said Lady Zumbro. "Mother, don't tempt me. You know I don't bluff." "I'll be inside spiking the punch for you." Lady Zumbro walked off. Merrynight by North White, on Flickr "So, I stood out there in the freezing cold, while my mother was arrested for tampering with a punch bowl." "Anyways, your deadbeat father walked up." Merrynight by North White, on Flickr "Hey, you want some liquor?" Said Captain Mesabi Merrynight by North White, on Flickr "Shouldn't you be guarding the queen?" I asked "Nah, I'm on balcony duty because 'ceremonial cannons are not meant to be used against potential assassins.'" "Wait what?" I asked, but he said nothing and handed me some Vodka Merrynight by North White, on Flickr "And that's how I met your father." Agnes Finished "That was a lame story Mommy!" Said Kevin "Yeah, you really should of used more descriptive language, or used some scene transitions." Said Morissa Merrynight by North White, on Flickr "Where the $#@% did your Nanny go?" Asked Agnes FIN Thanks for viewing my entry in @Drunknok's merrynight challenge! I thought I'd use this opportunity to flesh out the background of my characters some more. This will be licensed as a small residence by Mesabi Landing. C&C appreciated! And seriously, more people need to enter the challenge! I don't want to win this by default!
  9. Location: Cocovia Type: Minichallenge build The Super Precarious Bridge had been built to cross a gorge on Cocovia Super precarious bridge by North White, on Flickr The Plans had called for them to go at an easier crossing. Super precarious bridge by North White, on Flickr But The WTC is also awesome at building bridges for some reason FIN Just another entry to @Brickwolf's minichallnege. I was originally going to use these for the supports, but it made everything look too pink, and I'm not @Bodi . I didn't really have a story envisioned for this one, which is what most of you seem to come here for, so sorry. Maybe I'll rewrite it. This entry should be considered a 16x48, but if the powers that be otherwise, I suppose it could be reduced. C&C appreciated!
  10. Location: Mesabi Landing/ Cocovia Type: Minichallenge build Mordo headed up to Agnes's office with the monthly newspaper The Office by North White, on Flickr "Um, about the hole in the-" Agnes cut him off "Candle fell on the TNT. What's the latest?" The Office by North White, on Flickr "So, first off... The Grand Cocovia Railway has stalled out. It's over budget and over time. They're opening the project to other nations in a last ditch effort to complete it." Mordo summerized "What!?! Other nations?" Agnes yelled "We built them a dock, right?" "The dock doesn't really help to further the railroad. Anyways, the Sea Rats have-" Agnes rose from her chair. The Office by North White, on Flickr "No, we have to deal with this. Charter me a ship to Cocovia. You're in charge while I'm gone." "But!" "No Buts!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A WEEK LATER The Tavern by the tracks was where most of the railworkers spent their days. Traffic was busy in King's harbor, and the railroad was often delayed by passing carts. Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr Inside, workers happily chatted, ignoring their duty to the railroad. A Union had formed, and while contracts were negotiated, work would not be completed. Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr The door opened, and Agnes Mesabi walked in, flanked by Pete Zanzibar, and two yellow jacket soldiers. Agnes fired her gun. Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr "Now which one of you is in charge of the union?" she yelled angrily Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr "That'd be me, miss, and you better watch yourself, because I know a few guys who could talk some sense into you. But I'm not the kind of man who starts fights." Said the Union leader Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr Agnes said nothing and walked over to the bar. "A bottle of your finest," she asked politely. Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr The Union leader began to walk back to the table. Agnes began to down the bottle. Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr Finishing it, she flipped it, turned and smacked the man on the back of the head. He fell with a groan. Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr "Gentlemen?" she asked. "Show this man how the WTC operates...." Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr The two yellow jackets began to punch and kick the man, while he cried in agony. "The WTC will be helping to assure the project is finished." Said Agnes coldly. "And you can forget your union. We don't do unions." Unionist Tavern by North White, on Flickr She turned to the bartender. "Another of your finest." She said with a smile. FIN Thanks for viewing my first actual entry into the CWW challenge. My last one wasn't up to snuff, so I'd like to offer this one, and possibly some more. I hope you don't feel we have @Brickwolf. All shares created by me are to be given to the crown. C&C appreciated!
  11. Location: Arlinsport Tags: Medium Factory Arlinsport had a moderate WTC presence. And today a new factory was opening. Hat House by North White, on Flickr "Those damn yellow jackets said their product was going to be very important if we fight a war." Said the chief inspector. "So this mission might be our last..." The oarman said nothing, but looked concerned. Everyone knew the stories of the WTC. Hat House by North White, on Flickr The inspector disembarked. The factory was located on the outskirts of the city, along the great sea cliffs that surrounded most of the island. Hat House by North White, on Flickr A WTC elite greeted him. "I'm Mary. Welcome to our little establishment!" She said with an evil chuckle The inspector said nothing, and the two walked over and into the building. Hat House by North White, on Flickr "The WTC is proud to present the crown with a place for creating Shakos!" Hat house by North White, on Flickr "We take black cloth, and make hats!" Hat House by North White, on Flickr "Then shifty pete slaps a gold Corrington logo on them!" Hat House by North White, on Flickr The two walked out. "And all this is provided to the crown, free of charge. Because the WTC loves Corrington.™" And so, the WTC actually did something slightly Corrish for once. FIN Thanks for viewing my build! This will knock out half of the factory points required for Arlinsport to advance to the next level. It is also to be licensed by Arlinsport, if that can be arranged. Originally, this was supposed to be my second Charlatan Bay build, but well, I'm not sure if we're allowed to build there. C&C appreciated!
  12. Location: Arlinsport Type: Small Commercial The Bank of Corrington's payment desk was seldom graced by anyone from the WTC, but today, there was an exception. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr "You people, are actually paying?" The banker asked in surprise. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr "Of course! The WTC always pays its debts. Eventually. We're always com-" The Marine was cut off "Why is the chest leaking?" The banker asked in concern. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr "Uh.. I think we grabbed the wrong chest. Terribly sorry." The two marines grabbed the dripping chest and hurried out. The Guardsman grabbed a broom. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr An hour later they returned to the bank, carrying a chest clearly filled with gold. As they walked in, one of the marines slipped in the mysterious liquid. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr Gold flew everywhere, landing in the puddle and underneath chests. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr The banker said nothing. "Well that's half of the loan sorry-we're-not-cleaning-it-up-bye." Said a marine, and the two darted out. Paying some debts by North White, on Flickr And the rest of the day, the room stank of what was probably horse blood. FIN Thanks for viewing this little build to commemorate me paying off some of the loan I took from the BoC! @Bregir, funds will transfer when I get to it. If Arlinsport would like to license this build as a small commercial, that would be great as well. C&C appreciated!
  13. Location: Mesabi Landing Type: Medium Cultural The Church of the Order in Mesabi Landing was usually where weddings were held. Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr "Dear friends and family.... We are... gathered here.... today" The priest droned. Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr "To.... join... these.... two in.... holy matrimony..." *BANG* Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr Agnes walked into the church, pistol smoking, drunk as hades. Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr "So! You's the happiest couple! Well let me tell you people about getting married....." Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr "Madam, you should leave...." Said the groom. Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr Agnes knocked him to the floor. "I pronounce you man! And... ah who cares." She slurred Wedding crashing by North White, on Flickr Agnes ran out, leaving the wedding guests in stunned silence. FIN So, I got a sailboat with clear sails for Christmas, and I wanted to experiment with them as stained glass windows. I'm not sure if it worked, but I'll let y'all be the judge of that. Originally I was going to make this be Agnes sitting through a boring church service, but I thought this would be funnier. Hopefully it's not to sacreligious. C&C appreciated!
  14. Location: Zone 35 Type: Class 2 The newest addition to the WTC's fleet was the WTC Dog Days. WTC Dog Days by North White, on Flickr Designed for hauling cargo medium range, she was just another addition to the Brick Seas WTC Dog Days by North White, on Flickr Yup, nothing to see here folks. Just another free class 2 ship. FIN C&C appreciated, but I'm not expecting much today. Also I need to raise my ship levels again...
  15. Location: Jameston, Celestia Type: Medium Commercial Jameston Basecamp by North White, on Flickr Agnes awoke with a start at a table full of papers. Jameston Basecamp by North White, on Flickr "What the? How the $#@$# did I get here?" She asked angrily "Good morning!" Said Pete Zanzibar "I'm glad to see you've come too." "You didn't answer the question, you pinstriped idiot." Agnes muttered. "Well.... after you left the gunpowder factory, you walked into a pineapple tree. You then challenged it to a duel, and blew it up with TNT." Said Pete "And?" "Well, then you tried to rob a general store with a stick." "And?" "And we realized it would just be easier to buy out the store, and set up headquarters there, and let you think you robbed the place." "Oh." Jameston Basecamp by North White, on Flickr "So, anyways, the elites are all here, and we're going to go find that fabled orchard." Said Pete "Wait, who's running things in Mesabi Landing?" Asked Agnes Jameston Basecamp by North White, on Flickr Pete stopped smiling. "Him." He said quietly. "Oh." Said Agnes. "Well then, let's get this show on the road." Jameston Basecamp by North White, on Flickr FIN Thanks for viewing my entry into Challenge 6! As usual, I'm the first to post . I really tried to imitate @Ayrlego's style with this build. I probably failed, but I'm happy with the amount of texture I put into the build. C&C appreciated! More pictures
  16. Location: Outside Mooreton Bay Type: Ship The brave crew of the WTC Riff Raft sailed and rowed towards the WTC Icarus Returning WTC Riff Raft by North White, on Flickr The Corrish Marines stationed aboard leered at them as they pulled alongside, but they were happy to get off the deathtrap that was the Icarus Returning WTC Riff Raft by North White, on Flickr The exchange was quick. The Marines hopped in a lifeboat and started frantically rowing away. The WTC crew got into position and heaved the anchor, and sailed the ship away WTC Riff Raft by North White, on Flickr And so, the Icarus Returning was free to sail again, and haul mining explosives across the Brick Seas. FIN This is the build for my little class 0 "Riff Raft" It could use a little work, I know, but I'm happy with it. It will be doing short trade runs across zone 24. Also, I'm a little confused as to where to have the Icarus Returning start this TMCRA, as it technically isn't allowed in Mooreton Bay. C&C appreciated
  17. It was a cloudy day in Mooreton bay as the trial was set to begin. The trial, day 1 by North White, on Flickr Everyone in the town came to see the trial, as there was pretty much nothing else to do that day. The trial, day 1 by North White, on Flickr Tyrell was lead in in chains. The trial, day 1 by North White, on Flickr But Jake Cochran arrived late to the scene, arrogant as always. The trial, day 1 by North White, on Flickr "Hey Buddy" Said Jake The trial, day 1 by North White, on Flickr "Your shoe is untied!" The trial, day 1 by North White, on Flickr "Oh thanks!" Said the Courthouse Guard, "wait...." The trial, day 1 by North White, on Flickr Jake knocked the guard's hat off, with a mad cackle. "HEY!" 18. Location: Charlatan Bay Type: Large Factory He air hung heavy with the screams of horses and the scent of blood as Charlatan Bay's most industrial factory worked hard to create a vital product. Horse sausage Factory by North White, on Flickr Horses were brought in on small boats to the edge of Charlatan Bay, where the factory worked hard to process them. The WTC Riff Raft brought in two an hour on a good day. Horse sausage Factory by North White, on Flickr Completed Sausages were smoked in a small smokehouse built on the remains of the captains cabin. Horse sausage Factory by North White, on Flickr But Unfortunately, the Horses had to be sheared and dehoofed before they could be made into sausages, which was the bottleneck of the operation. Horse sausage Factory by North White, on Flickr But, once they were liberated, they could be ground down into sausages. It usually took a bit of prompting to force them into the grinder, but giving them a stiff drink beforehand usually weakened their resolve. Horse sausage Factory by North White, on Flickr And so, box after box of horsausage was made, smoked and shipped off into the colonies. Horse sausage Factory by North White, on Flickr FIN Hope you liked this build everyone. The factory is supposed to be built on a wrecked ship, next to an equally wrecked building, I'm just not sure how clear that is in the pictures. I really had fun with this one, and with all my Charlatan Bay builds in general. It was nice to have a change of atmosphere with my builds. I'll probably license the WTC Riff Raft in the future as a class 0, but I'm usually pretty lazy about doing so. C&C appreciated! Let me know if I should upload better photos as well, It's midnight here, and the light ain't to good.
  19. Location: Mooreton Bay Type: Large Arts and Culture The Mooreton Bay Courthouse sits in the downtown of Mooreton Bay. Courthouse by North White, on Flickr Inside, the courthouse was ready for the upcoming trial. Corrington v. Captain Tyrell... Courthouse by North White, on Flickr FIN No story today yet, I just wanted to get the courthouse up as a build. I would like this to be licensed as a large Art and Culture by Mooreton Bay, but if they won't take it, I'll just license it myself in January. Just let me know @Ayrlego. The interior is set up like an actual courthouse, and we'll be starting the trial within the week. (Hopefully) C&C appreciated!
  20. Location: Jameston Type: Medium Factory Agnes and a WTC Elite walked to the edge of Jameston, where the new musket factory had opened. They had been told to only build their buildings on the edge of town for reasons everyone knew. Musket Factory by North White, on Flickr Two Bored WTC Infantrymen stood in front of the factory. "Woah Woah Woah" Said the First. "We're guarding this building. We don't need any of you elites around!" "Yeah, Scram! We don't take your type here." Said the Second. Musket Factory by North White, on Flickr Agnes sighed. "What is it with you grunts? Is someone jealous they aren't called elite?" "No..." Said the first sheepishly. "Good," Said Agnes smugly, "Trooper, stay out here and show them how to guard a building." Agnes entered the building leaving the three soldiers to argue outside. Musket Factory by North White, on Flickr The Foreman greeted her. "Sorry for the delays, countess. We had some trouble constructing the building." "All in good time, mr. foreman. Now, show me how this factory works." "Of course!" Musket Factory by North White, on Flickr "First, Metal is pounded into the rough barrel of the gun." Musket Factory by North White, on Flickr "It's taken over to the furnace, where it's heated, sealing the cracks." Musket Factory by North White, on Flickr Musket Factory by North White, on Flickr "You see, we run an efficient and productive factory here in Jameston. And now that we're operational..." Agnes cut the foreman off. Musket Factory by North White, on Flickr "Now that the factory is operational, I can put you out of your misery and put one of Mordo's men in charge." Said Agnes, with a rare smile. "Did you just pull those out of the box there? Because those aren't loaded..." The foreman said calmly. Musket Factory by North White, on Flickr "Damnit." FIN Thanks for viewing my latest factory! I hope to get one more out before the month ends. I'll take my 200 Dbs, thank you. C&C appreciated. I hope this is accurate enough for musket production. I'm not entirely sure how the barrels were made, so that part might be a bit off.
  21. Location: Charlatan Bay Type: Medium Factory The WTC had not been well received in Charlatan Bay. The Sight of the massive WTC Judgement had been regarded with disdain. But the WTC had a mission, to establish factories in the Colony. The First had been built by detonating a bunch of explosives in a small cave to enlarge it. There, the WTC worked on a new product. But all was not well. A drunken captain walked up the causeway to the factory, looking for blood. Pants factory by North White, on Flickr "Yah bloody bastards think you can force yer way into Charlatan after what Tyrell did? Well I think not." Said the angry, drunken captain. "Sir, please, we're not looking for trouble." Said the WTC Elite Guard. "Well Mr. Pistol Says you need to go away! Ain't that right Mr. Pistol?" Said the Captain "WTC needs to die!" Said the Captain in a falsetto Pants factory by North White, on Flickr The Elite Sighed. The Captain Cocked his gun. Pants factory by North White, on Flickr It took a quick slash of the blade to knock him back... Yelled the Elite Pants factory by North White, on Flickr The Sea Rats dropped their remaining weapons and fled in a panic. Pants factory by North White, on Flickr Inside, work continued on the pants. Pants factory by North White, on Flickr Cloth was cut, and sewn into pants. They were piled, and then shipped. Far simpler than most factories. Pants factory by North White, on Flickr And Extra explosives were kept on hand in case of "emergency..." FIN Thanks for viewing my first reparation factory for Charlatan Bay. I read up on the colony, and really liked the idea of the tall cliffs feature of the island. So, I decided to build a cliffside factory, which probably hasn't been done recently. @Kwatchi said I couldn't have my Elites killing anyone (Even in self defense apparently ) So I hope this is a fair compromise. Technically, This is a part of lowtown, though I'd say it's about halfway up the cliff. Storywise I'm happy with it, though I don't think this will make my top 10. C&C appreciated! More pictures.
  22. The Wayfarer Trading Company has very unique uniforms. Curious for each rank? Use this handy guide! WTC Captains WTC forces by North White, on Flickr Dressed in Clean, dark tan uniforms, WTC captains wear a Bicorne. Each WTC captain commands a ship and her crew. The WTC Infantry does general guard work, and defends their land installations. WTC Marines WTC forces by North White, on Flickr The WTC Marines are the backbone of the WTC. Trained in combat, resource procurance, and shipmanship, the WTC Marines fill all sorts of roles within the organization. Highly skilled in combat, they make sure no foreign power or trade corporation will ever harm the WTC. WTC Specialists WTC forces by North White, on Flickr WTC's specialists fill roles that regular soldiers cannot, such as snipers, translators, and assassins. WTC Operators WTC forces by North White, on Flickr Not all combat is physical! WTC's Operators consist of salesmen, lawyers, and upper level managers. They might be more cutthroat than the elites, however. These are the WTC's forces as of October, 617 iuxta imperium C&C appreciated, the elites aren't quite finished, I need more brown arm things, and they will have red feathers in their caps.
  23. Location: Mesabi Landing Tags: Small Commerce Yet another warehouse by North White, on Flickr Mesabi Landing had to store all the stuff it ascertained. But it was also a popular place for the WTC infantry to slack off... FIN C&C appreciated, Nothing big or interesting today. Just a quick build to help me build up Mesabi Landing.
  24. Location: Jameston Type: Medium Factory Agnes angrily stomped all the way over to the next WTC factory Gunpowder Factory by North White, on Flickr Pete Zanzibar stood outside. "Madam Mesabi! Have you come to inspect our factory!" Asked Pete Excitedly "This the Gunpowder one or the Bottle one?" Asked Agnes "The Gunpowder one, madam." Gunpowder Factory by North White, on Flickr "Perfect, just the one I was looking for. And let me remind you, I'm not drunk, I just drank enough to keep my nerves steady." Said Agnes. She dropped the two muskets by some empty barrels. "Well, I'll just show you inside, so you can see everything!" Said Pete, nervously Gunpowder Factory by North White, on Flickr "Gunpowder is made of three ingredients. Sulfur, Saltpeter, and Charcoal. We have to import in the Sulfur, but the other to ingredients are manufactured here." Pete Paused. "But, unfortunately, we have to have a Corrington officer to watch everything for safety reasons." Said Pete. "Hey now! Let's see you do this job as well as I do." Said the Corrish Officer Gunpowder Factory by North White, on Flickr "All you do is tell us how much of each ingredient gets dumped in a barrel from that cheat sheet!" Yelled Pete back "Yeah, but I'm certified to read the cheat sheet. Are you?" Said the Officer Smugly. "No... Moving on. We dump barrels of Urine into sand to make saltpeter." Gunpowder Factory by North White, on Flickr "So that's what that smell is..." Muttered Agnes. "Yes, that reminds me can we build a scented candle factory next? Or perfume?" Asked Pete. "I'll think about it." said Agnes, rolling her eyes. "Next, we make charcoal. We do this in that room over there." Pete motioned to a small room off to the side of factory. Gunpowder Factory by North White, on Flickr "And finally, we combine the sulfur, the saltpeter, and the charcoal, in a big vat." Gunpowder Factory by North White, on Flickr "And we just take the powder out and put in buckets." Finished Pete. "Great great great... Can I borrow some?" Asked Agnes drunkenly. "Why?" Asked Pete. "Agnes needs to go shoot someones." Agnes burped loudly. Gunpowder Factory by North White, on Flickr "Uh, I guess... I don't think we have that caliber of ammunition here though, we're using a different type for the advanced rifles." Agnes sighed loudly. "Why is everything so hard!" Gunpowder Factory by North White, on Flickr She kicked open the door, and left in a huff. FIN Thanks for viewing my third factory of the month. I tried to recreate the process of making gunpowder to the best of what the internet says. Hopefully it looks different enough then the last one I did. I made this one bigger and tried to fill the area fully. @Ayrlego I could probably build one more for Jameston to license. I'd really like to do a Musketball factory to end the story arc. As usual, C&C appreciated.

WTC Judgement by North White, on Flickr She was captained by Captain Gage, a veteran of the Juniper Wars, and a staunch supporter of the WTC. WTC Judgement by North White, on Flickr The Ship had both a captain's cabin and a map room, each lit my large stained glass windows. WTC Judgement by North White, on Flickr And she was ready to take to the seas.... FIN Well, thanks for viewing my latest build. I haven't had a lot of time lately, and I've spent it touching up this fine ship. She also has a fairly decent interior as well, but I lack the parts to properly furnish it. In game, she has 20 cannons, though I only have 12 ATM. Maybe I'll spend more dough so she can be more accurate. Hmmmm..... I also need to add the sails, I just wanted to get this up for the time being. The Judgement is a Class 7 and her stats are: Range =4 Maneuver =2 Firepower =8 Crew =5 Cargo =1 Hull =7 Total Used =27 @Bregir tried to make me make her more accurate, but he failed, and I kinda just made it how I wanted. Overall, I'm very happy with how she turned out, and I can't wait to build another one. I can in no way, shape or form license or operate this ship, so I think she'll be the story only ship of Agnes. But I'm not sure, as if I build a couple large factories, I could probably afford her.
