  1. Hi guys, Has anyone ever purchased a custom figure from the user 'poppunkmunky' on eBay? I'm specifically looking to buy the Daredevil figure (link). How is the printing? Would you say it's worth it for the quality? Thanks in advance
  2. With the Release of LEGO: MARVEL Superheroes on the way I thought it was time to make an Agent Coulson Minifig, cos this universe needs one! So inspired by the new series of 'Marvel's Agents of Shield' being broadcast and what references on LEGO Coulson exist, that's what I did, along with a few members of his handpicked task-force to accompany him. Agent Coulson Leo Fitz Jemma Simmons Click on any image to go to my Flickr Page, where the full size image can be downloaded for your enjoyment! (Colours may appear a little strange on-screen, this is because they are designed for printing, so they should appear correct when printed) :) If you do use this decal, I would love to see how it turns out and where in the universe it ends up. So do send me a link to any pictures or MOCs you have either through Flickr or any of methods on the bottom of the image, enjoy! This Decal is for Personal Use Only! This Decal is NOT for Commercial Use!
  3. Hi I'm trying to do custom minifigures, but I need to know what type of paint I should use. I origionally used acrylic paint but it scrarched off. Im planning to make The Thing using the hulk but just need to know the proper paint to use and the price range for that type. Thanks -Debricker
  4. Hi All, This is my second batch of custom minifigures, which will be the super heroes series. Starting out with my Superman series minifigs, consist of 5 x custom minifigs, which are Superman White suit, Superman Black Suit, Super Girl, Cyborg Superman and Biazrro. (But in this picture i have include the other 4 official minifigs from lego) From left to right - Superman White suit, Superman Black Suit, Jor El, Superman 2013, Clark kent 2013, Superman 2012, Super Girl, Cyborg Superman, Biazrro. All are done by decals method :) The first batch which is my custom iron man minifigures can be found here -> http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=83224 Cheers Crayonbricks
  5. To celebrate the upcoming release of the Iron Man 3 movie, I created minifig designs for every film suit. (If I left any out, let me know.) Comments and criticism are very much appreciated. This is the official minifig design, with an improved minigun. For those interested, it's made out of a neck bracket, one 1x1 clip, a space gun, and some binoculars. I've got a version that has missiles too; expect pictures soon. For some reason, the helmet angle makes this guy. I also liked the leg detailing on the film version, so I tried to pull out the details there and Lego-fy them. Doing this guy was fun. I'm not sure what he does in the movie, but his repulsor looks like a Roman collar. I imagine him as the chaplain of the Iron Legion. ;) The official Extremis armor, with gold arms. (The three actual minifigs of these that I own have gold arms, so I went with that for the CG version.) Identical to the official minifig. Identical to the official minifig. This was probably the hardest to design in terms of torso detailing, but the end result looks official. I'm not 100% satisfied with this guy, but it's recognizable. This is basically a recolored Mark III with rivets slapped on. This one is easily my favorite. This is a slight redesign of the official LEGO version. This was the longest one to design, especially with the complex torso plating. I actually just finished a Gemini suit render for Solid Brix Studios, but this is a separate design that fits my own tastes a bit better. Whew! I hope you enjoyed them!
  6. I was wondering whether Lego would ever reintroduced branded Technic Sets. And I'm not talking about Ferrari, Williams or Lamborghini. From memory I can only recall there being a few Technic star wars characters, but never any vehicles. So my questions to you guys are do you think we'll see it anytime soon, and if so what would you like to see? I'd personally like a Batman Tumbler and a BTTF DeLorean that lights up like a Christmas tree.
  7. These are a couple of head decals I made a while back. If you click on each image, it will take you to my DeviantART Page which has super-big versions of them for you to download (right-hand sidebar), print and play with. Enjoy! Red Skull: The Captain America Villian, the Red Skull. Their is bound to be a Red Skull minifig being thrown around somewhere in the pipe works at LEGO, its just a matter of time. Captain America has no other nemesis as popular as the nazi slap-head, unless you count Iron Man. (civilwaramirite?) The Scarecrow: Not a massive fan of the official LEGO Batman Scarecrow, for me he's a bit too graphic and not really in keeping with the LEGO's house style, so I took a shot at making him more LEGO-y. What you think?
  8. So I just want to start off by saying that this is my first topic on eurobricks and that I am a new user (I started like 2 weeks ago) and I am an American, and I'm excited to hear what you have to say about my topic. Now I want to start off by saying that in 2014 alone the following 5 Marvel movies will be released: Amazing Spiderman 2, X-Men days of future past, Captain America: The winter soldier, Guardians of the galaxy, and Black Panther, with that being said I also want to remind you that every year Lego can only make 6 Marvel sets. So I just wanted to ask you guys how you think this will affect the Lego sets, obviously the movies will be released at different times, which means that some of these movies will get sets in 2015, but with 5 movies, Lego can only make 6 sets, and a Green Goblin big fig was already promised to be released in a set in 2014 as well. We also have no information on the 6th 2013 Marvel set, and Thor 2: The dark world is surely going to need a couple sets. So what do you think? Will Lego pass on making sets on some of these movies? If you think they would, what movies would they pass on? X-Men? Guardians of the galaxy? I believe that the SDCC fig of Spiderman in his AMS2 variant hints at ASM2 sets. Also they discontinued the Captain America's avenging cycle set which mean Lego may be preparing for sets in 2014. I would personally love it if Lego did not do X-Men Days of future past sets. Why? Well Lego only has 1 comic book based set in Marvel (being wolverines chopper showdown), and other than that only 5 mini-figs got comic book variants. The Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, the Phoenix, and Spiderwoman. When you make a theme that revolves around comic book's I find it to be a bad "move" to make so many sets not based on comic books. I would love another comic book based X-Men set. How about you? Sorry for the length of this article, but I just wanted to get that all off of my chest! Also I know the title was very misleading and that I talked (well typed) mostly about movies in this articles, but oh well.

    MOC: Marvel Racers

Since it is Comic Con weekend, here's my follow-up to my DC Superheroes Racers: Marvel Racers! In order to be able to compete with DC, all the Marvel heroes and villains built racers for themselves too! First up, we have the racers of three of the Avengers. Since the Hulk is a larger than life hero, his racer is equally as big and strong. It's a military jeep that has been turned into a monster truck! Hulk gives a whole new meaning to the term road rage, so other racers would do best to stay out of his way unless they want to make him angry, and you do NOT want to make Hulk angry. Thor's racer in the colors of his costume while Captain America's racer is an American flag on wheels. Cap's racer has a clip on the back that allows him to attach his shield there, giving him ultimate protection from the back! Meanwhile, the Hulk has a spare tire. Here we have the fourth Avenger Iron Man together with a friend and a foe. Much like their armors, Iron Man's and War Machine's racer are very similar aside from their colors. The Mandarin's racer is a smaller version of his flame-throwing bumper cart from the Ultimate Showdown set. Even from the back, Iron Man and War Machine's Racers look very similar. And just like in the Ultimate Showdown, Mandarin has a flame thrower on top of his cart. Rounding out the Avengers team are Nick Fury and his shield agents. Hawkeye's racer is inspired by his truck from Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape. Fury's racer is a smaller version of his hovercar in the Spider-Cycle Chase. And Black Widows kart is, well, black. While Black Widows racer is sleek and fast, Hawkeye's is powerful and heavily armored. Fury's car can't transform, but it's still made up of state of the art SHIELD technology. Look out, here comes the Spider-Racer! Along with his friends, Iron Fist and Nova, they make an unbeatable racing team! Spidey's racer has the same patriotic colors as his costume as well as a big spider logo on the front. Iron Fist's racer is partly shaped like Shou-Lao, the dragon he slayed to get his powers. And Nova's is in the same colors as his costume. Iron Fist's spoiler even has the shape of dragon wings! Hot on Spider-Man's trail are three of his worst enemies! Venom's racer, much like his appearance, is a black and white version of Spidey's. Doc Ock's kart is a smaller version of the vehicle he had in his Lab set. Green Goblin's racer is made of the same Oscorp technology as his glider. As you can see here, Green Goblin's racer has a similar exhaust as his glider and Venom's spoiler is a bit more spiky than Spidey's. Here we have a few more, somewhat obscure villains. First, there is Thor's brother Loki whose racer is made out of Chitauri technology. Doctor Doom's racer has the same colors as his plane and bears the Latverian symbol. Riding alongside him is his henchman, the Beetle. His racer's headlights resemble big bug eyes. The Beetle's spoiler is made out of the same material as his wings and Loki's racer has the same exhausts as the Chitauri ships. Wolverine is the best at what he does, and what he does is make his rivals eat his dust! His racer is made out of adamantium and has the typical X-Men colors. That makes it indestructible, but also susceptible to his main villain, Magneto, whose racer has magnets mounted onto it of course! Meanwhile, Deadpool is just in it for the prize money. His racer has his signature colors and a big "D" on the hood. Magneto's racer even has a magnet in the back. Wolverine's spoiler resembles a certain haircut. And Deadpool's racer has his logo on the back. Let the race begin! Vote for your favorite Marvel racer above and let us know who you think should win, Marvel or DC? As before, if you like these, please support them on Cuusoo: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/42554

    6th 2013 Marvel Superheroes set?

We seem to always get 6 sets for every theme/subtheme. Last year we got the Doc Ock Ambush really late and it surprised us. Well there's currently only 5 Marvel sets for 2013 so far (3 Iron Man 3, 2 Ultimate Spider-Man). What do you think the last set will be. I'm thinking maybe a Fantastic 4 set or something like that. Maybe also a Wolverine set (based on the movie).
  15. In anticipation of the upcoming Wolverine film, here is Silver Samurai. The idea for this build came from a fellow Flickr user. I added a number of customizations, but nevertheless, here you go: Here is a recreation of a screenshot from the upcoming film (not 100% sure this scene will be in the final cut): For those who aren't familiar with Silver Samurai: http://marvel.com/universe/Silver_Samurai

  24. Hello there ! I'm a french AFOL since december 2012, living in Belgium. I'm 29 and never played LEGO before because my parents never wanted to buy me sets so I have to make up for lost time. At the beginning I was only interested in the licenced themes like LOTR, The Hobbit, Marvel/DC, Star Wars (only the movies), Sponge Bob, TMNT... but I've been quickly attracted by other themes like Monster Fighter or Modular. I'm my personnal life I'm an IT. I like football (soccer), computing, vidéo games, photography (even if I sucks at it for 4 years) and travels. See ya !
  25. Hello everyone! I don't post a whole lot on Eurobricks, but I made some custom minifigs after seeing Iron Man 3 last weekend that I felt like I should share. It was a great movie with some great characters, so here they are! I don't have a whole lot of flesh parts so I made them with yellow flesh, but I think they still turned out pretty good. I also tried to stat as purist as possible. Anyway, enjoy! Tony Stark - Tony Stark after he crash lands in a snowy town. Happy Hogan (1999) - Happy sports long hair and a goatee at the party in 1999. Happy Hogan -Happy's present-day appearance. (This fig could use some work... ) Harley - The science-loving, potato-gun wielding kid that Tony meets in the snowy town. The Mandarin - A terrorist who is more than what he appears to be... Aldrich Killian - A scientist behind Advanced Idea Mechanics and buyer of the Extremis virus... ...and he also subjects himself to it, enhancing his physical abilities immensely. - And here are the two minifigs side by side. - A duel between Stark and Killian. Eric Savin - The gum-chewing Extremis soldier who helps steals the Iron Patriot armor. Maya Hansen - An long forgotten love interest of Tony's. She's also the inventor of the Extremis virus. Pepper Potts - Tony Stark's girlfriend. - Killian offers Stark Industries a place in his company. An altenative suit concept I came up with: - Just made this to kind of make the Lego head seem less massive. Thanks for viewing!
