Hello AFOLs, I am glad to announce that the instructions for the Lego Racers Car Collection is now complete! Included is the 87-page instructions to build all 24 Racers, Decals for Rocket Racer/Veronica Voltage, and a Minifigure Guide (Used to better display each minifig since all necessary parts were not in .LDR). What do you think will be coming out of the Speed Champions series in 2021? Personally, I think there is a chance for something from IMSA. There may be such sets: Corvette C7.R (small set) Koenigsegg Jesco (small set) Porsche Taycan (small set) Toyota Ts050 Hybrid (double set) Aston Martin Vulcan or Vantage GTE (double set) And maybe something else with hypercar because of the WEC season 2020/2021

So a few months ago I worked on what I believe to be the most game-accurate Rocket Racer and Veronica voltage car models to date as far as elements and colors (I used all old-grey elements to match the era). Most of the references used were from the opening cinematic and in-race car models, as the in-game buildable models seem to be compromised for the sake of simplicity. The one slight disappointment was the necessary use of a grooved 1x2 tile instead of the much older but more streamlined grooveless tile,but seeing as those haven't been produced since the mid 70s I figured they couldn't have used them even when the game was being developed. Here's what I was able to come up with: As you can see, I haven't added any decals yet. I've been hoping to find a custom printing service that would be willing to print the less-than original designs of these characters and logos onto pieces for me. Until then I'm still satisfied with the results. Hello AFOLs, I have been working on a project recently that will commence in an instruction manual for all cars and figures included in Lego Racers, the PC game. I have just finished up the manual section for circuits 1 & 5 and am willing to share that with the community. The complete manual will require a small fee to obtain once it is done ($5-$10), but I am willing to share the first part of it with everyone. I am going to work on getting a bricklink list together for these individual circuits, and will share that when it is done. This is how I would imagine Rocket Racer if he came back in a LEGO Racers 3 video game. Tap or click any image to enlarge it. This model is almost buildable in real life. Unfortunately, those angled brackets near the front don't come in blue and white yet. In the meantime, you can enjoy the LXF file, or browse the Brickshelf gallery. -Toa Of Justice
