1. So, who do you think will be Lego's choice for the First 2017 Ideas Review?
2. I've got something interesting to share. This is a magic museum that has a 16 x 16 stud footprint. It was deliberately made smaller than a full modular-sized building but was designed to visually fit with other official modular buildings as well as the smaller creator series buildings such as the Corner Deli and Bike Shop & Cafe. It works as a corner building or a “set-in’ building, in-between two other modular buildings. The goal of this set is to blend two creative arts together for an enriching, entertaining and educational experience. Fans of LEGO brick-building will be introduced to the art of magic as they embark on a journey into the colourful world of conjuring & prestidigitation in the “History of Magic Museum”. The “History of Magic Museum” is a historically accurate magic-themed three-storey building that highlights some of the greatest illusions and magicians in the history of magic. It is highly detailed with numerous LEGO replicas of authentic magic & illusion props used by illusionists from the past to present day. There are more than half a dozen play features and removable brick-built illusion displays. 3. Hey, everyone! Does anyone on Eurobricks remember the classic Cartoon Network TV show Codename: Kids Next Door? I felt nostalgic and decided to make this project because I'm a huge Classic Era Cartoon Network enthusiast and grew up watching this show. There are more rendered images in the link to my project on the very bottom in case you wanted to check it out. Tell me what you think of my project! Any feedback (including both positive and negative) is welcome. Link to project: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/0ae57552-e81f-462f-a951-420bf3735a22

Lego Ideas Theme

Hi everyone! This is my first post, so please bare with me... I would love to make a model for Lego Ideas, but need a good theme; idea. Maybe have any ideas? I would like a theme; idea that the Lego community in general would like. Something that can earn a lot of support. Maybe some old theme that I can redo, or maybe even something totally new. It should also be something that wouldn't have a lot of copyright issues, etc. so that it wouldn't be to hard for the Lego Group to actually pass it through if it ever got 10,000 supporters. Thanks, I'm looking forward to hear your thoughts...

MOC - Modular Hardware Store

For a while I thought not of posting any new designs online, but then I thought I enjoy designing Lego projects so.......... To save time here I will just copy and paste from my Ideas page so I will now say my usual Brick On ! Lucky number three perhaps, well say hello to my latest creation. A single storey farm hardware store with an exterior based on designs from the Edwardian era (early 20th century) or better know in Australia as the Federation era. The colours of the walls, the curved windows the exterior trim on the front of the building all point towards that era. There is a lot of brick and Technic built fixtures and merchandise in this set idea with two minifigs, the store manager and a customer visiting the big city from the country. Brick built display counters feature various pieces of merchandise and behind the counter is a bookcase where catalogues, order books and account ledgers are housed. All the tools on offer hang on wall racks, there are boxes of fencing materials and a barrel of heavy chain, plus under the counter galv wire coils for sale also. The part count would be between 500 and 600 pieces, a cost price of around 100 dollars US. I usually have a brand name for any of my designs, but this time none so please feel free to suggest a name for this particular company. This design is only 16 stud wide so it can sit between the detective's office and assembly square modulars to keep the spacing between street light poles the same Lego Ideas link - Modular Hardware Store
6. Brickstudio Films

Hello, I am Brickstudio Films!

Hello I am Brickstudio Films, a brickfilming youtube channel dedicated to producing monthly brickfilms! I upload on the second friday of each month, sometimes with modular buildings or a special event such as a Halloween brickfilm. I am still a fairly new channel so please check out my videos on my youtube channel. I tend to post most behind the scenes images, lighting images, and updates on google +. I have a few modular buildings on Lego Ideas @NikBrick2000 too. Please tell me how Im doing on my brickfilms so that I can make better ones in the future. Thanks :)

[MOC] Meet The Flintstones

This is my LEGO Ideas The Flintstones set proposal HERE I have over half the votes needed for LEGO to review it. Larger and more images HERE Beyond The Brick interview showing physical build HERE The car is attached to the stand / dirt road by a ball joint, so it can be positioned dynamically, and look like the weight of the ribs is tipping it. (The graphics on the Minifigures and other elements were added on top of the photos in Photoshop, Dino is a render composited in ) Thanks, Andy

[MOC] Four-Towered Castle

After finishing it and creating minifigures I uploaded it to LEGO Ideas which you can find here: Four-Towered Castle It contains some extra information such as piece counts. Feel free to leave a support on the LEGO Ideas site if you like it. 3D Model view here on Sketchfab: Four-Towered Castle The Full Inside view. Note that the castle is made in a "L" shaped layout. The left/West Entrance. Notice the flaps that would allow archers/crossbowmen to fire through and take cover. The inside side of the West entrance. Entrance to the hall from the courtyard/bailey. The alchemy room. With a green substance in a flask and a chandelier below the tall ceiling. The certainly need a ladder here. A tower with a wooden hoarding around it. Crossbows are stored here. The armoury. Along with the stacked sword it has a bed for a soldier here as well. View above the towers. Better view of the catapult and the winch for raising the portcullis. Inside the shack extension. The Great Hall. Turnable fire in the great hall's fireplace. Winch which you can rotate the fire and exterior of the hall. Drawbridge Outside. Gate Inside. Chest room. Hello all. This is my first project on ideas.lego.com. I'll be happy if you take a look at it. Best regards. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/176070
12. Hello guys! In the past I had tried to illuminate some of my moc with the led strips. For small buildings they did not do well. I found this solution and I'm satisfied. The set illuminated, makes beautiful home feeling. P.S: I wanted to put photos but are heavy, I have to load them outside?

14. HEY All, LEGO We are two flourishing LEGO FANS who have decided to dedicate our Thesis research to an extensive study of the LEGO user's impressions on the LEGO Ideas platform and the fan contribution to TLG - basically on all of you!! SO, we would like to ask you 4 brief questions, which will be used as qualitative data in our thesis.1. How and why has the LEGO Ideas changed your perception of TLG?2. What would it take for you to feel alienated by LEGO in terms of their new ideas for co-creation? Or can LEGO do no wrong when it comes to creating with fans? 3. Would you say that LEGO co-creating with fans have made you more loyal to the brand? How? 4. Did the Lego Ideas Test Lab influence your perception of TLG? THANK YOU for any comments and responses!AND if ANY of you would like to help us even more - we would like to set up a skype-chat / informal interview with you, it will take no more than 10-15 minutes of your time It would be greatly appreciated!!
15. This is my latest MOC: an Ariel Atom 500 in 1:9 scale! Technically it isn't a true scale model since I didn't use exact dimensions (I just build what I think looks best), but size-wise it's about 1:9. The real car is the fastest ever variant of the Ariel Atom, a street-legal car built for track racing. Released in 2008, the Atom 500 features a 3-litre transverse-mounted V8 made from two motorbike engines. It produces 500 horsepower (hence the name) and redlines at a rather insane 10,500 RPM. Other modifications include massive wings and the gold-painted exoskeleton. The car weighs only 550kg, giving it a power:weight ratio of over 900hp/tonne (higher than anything short of a Koenigsegg) - It recorded a 0-60mph time of just 2.3 seconds and could reach 200mph. It was the fastest road-legal car around the Top Gear Test Track for over two years. That record lap was on damp tarmac - had the track been dry, it would probably still be at the top. Only 25 of these cars were made, selling for around £200,000 each. My model features: Remote control drive and steering with Power Functions - 1 XL motor for drive and 1 M motor for steering 4-speed sequential gearbox operated with paddle-shifters Working steering wheel Full independent suspension with longitundinally-mounted shock absorbers Steering has zero scrub radius V8 engine replica with moving pistons The zero-scrub radius was a new idea for me. When playing around with suspension linkages, I discovered that mounting the links in a certain way would cause all four to move when turning (rather than just the steering link). The center of steering was further outwards, almost exactly in the middle of the wheels (I think it's where the suspension links would intersect when extended, but I'm not sure of this). The geometry I chose works almost perfectly for 68.8x36 ZR tyres on 56mm rims. Here's a picture of the steering links in their two extreme positions superimposed - the point where the wheel shafts intersect is the center of steering: The suspension is standard double-wishbone in the rear, but with a sideways lever converting the upwards motion of the suspension into longitudinal movement of the shock absorber: The transverse V8 was very difficult to fit in because it has even dimensions and the rest of the chassis has odd dimensions. It is connected directly to the XL motor The interior (or as close as you can get to an interior in an Atom) features two racing-style seats, a steering wheel and paddle shifters: The aesthetics were rather difficult at times. The framwork was very difficult even with the 42055 yellow parts (in fact, getting that set is the reason why I built this model), and at times I had to use some tricks. For example, the rear framework looks like it has two beams crossing in an X-formation when in fact the left and right halves of the "X" are two separate structures: I also replicated the exhaust pipes and gigantic rear wing. One of my favourite parts of the model is the side intake and its red stripe: The PF IR receiver is disguised as the air intake and roll hoop: For more pictures of the car, see my video below. Music is composed by me as well: This project is also on LEGO Ideas! I know the success rate is extremely low for such projects, but it would be amazing if this set because a reality! Please support my project here. Any support is much appreciated.

Durango & Silverton K-36

Howdy! This is an update of a post I made earlier this year of a Durango & Silverton K-36 narrow gauge locomotive. I recently decided to submit this MOC to the Lego Ideas website as an effort to get Lego to produce more quality train sets. I shared my project with the good people at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, and I have been blessed to receive their full support and endorsement of my efforts. I consider the D&SNGR to be the finest railroad experience in the country, if not the world. If you haven't had the good fortune to ride with them, do yourself a favor and make plans to go as soon as possible. You will not be disappointed. Check out their Facebook page for information about the railroad and a look at their endorsement of this MOC. https://www.facebook.com/DSNGRR/ If you are passionate about Lego trains, as I am, please visit the Lego Ideas website and show your support for this MOC. Help me convince Lego to make this dream a reality and immortalize the great D&SNGR with the world's greatest toy! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/161449 Back to the MOC. Let's start with the engine. I am not a fan of Lego Digital Designer, so all of my MOCs are built through a trial and error evolutionary process. This is the first picture I stopped to take of the locomotive. By this point, I had nailed down the frame, wheels, and the driving mechanism. I opted for including all the power functions elements in the locomotive rather than the tender. Working on hiding the power functions. Taking shape Experimenting with the stack and the headlight. Finalizing front end. On to the cab. Getting close. Power functions access from the top. The motor makes a nice firebox. A glimpse of how the wheels are powered. Done! Now for a look at the evolution of the passenger car. Finally settling on the SNOT technique for duplicating the look of wood panels and windows with depth. Placing a horizontal stripe in the middle of vertically striped plates was a fun challenge. I eventually found a way to suspend the upper non window portions from the ceiling. I really enjoyed building this car. All done! I didn't really take any pictures of the caboose process. I essentially used the same techniques from the passenger car. The inside is pretty ugly though, as I only had so many pieces available in this color of red. Now for a few shots of the train all together! How about a little scenery? From the good folks at the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad! I took the train to Brickfair in Birmingham, Alabama, and it won staff favorite! Kids loved the bear in the cave. Brickfair is a blast. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Lego or anyone with kids.

19. UPDATES: After I uploaded it to Flickr, I noticed there where some things missing, like side-mirrors and some details at the front, so I made some changes. Information: This car was built using Lego Creator style techniques, it has a lot of details and funcionality, like the opening doors and the detailed engine, to see more pictures you can go to my Flickr. The Vehicles

Edit by Hinckley: I've changed the title of your topic. Please read the Site Guidelines as ZCerberus has detailed in the first replay, thank you. I've submitted a project on LEGO.com/Ideas. I would like to share it to you in this post. I am sorry if I post this at the wrong place in this forum. I need your help to reach 10K supports. My first goal is 100 supporters, so my project won't expire. After I reach 100, I have to reach 1K then 5K and finally 10K. What project is it? It's entitled 'The Vehicles'. Here, we have a Cement Mixer, a Recycle Truck, and a Tractor. First is the tractor. The tractor has a white color (which is unusual, actually...). What we can highlight from this vehicle is the two big back wheels and small wheels in the front. I combined the studs with the tire to create the back wheels. To make the small wheels, I use the studs and the part no. 4081. To add an exhaust detail on the tractor, I placed a stud in front of the cockpit screen (which was the transparent small sloped 1x1 brick). Second is the recycle truck. The recycle truck has a green color (I chose this color because green is the color of nature). I added the part no. 2432 at the back of the vehicle as the entrance for the trash. I also added a siren bulb at the top of the vehicle which was inspired by the The LEGO(R) Movie set - Trash Chomper. I combined studs and tires to make the wheels, just like the tractor. Third is the cement mixer. Because this is a construction vehicle, I used many Yellow parts to create this vehicle. Well, I used some grey parts to build the mixer. To pour the mixed cement, I added a part no. 4081 and a cone part and place it on the mixer. You can check it at: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/164447 I appreciate every support for my project! Thanks!

MOC - Pixar Lamp Luxo jr

hi Guys, have a look to my creation, do you have any suggestoin on how to get it better? btw it is a lego ideas project: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/161724
23. Old Ben's Gallery is my take on taking Pet Shop's concept to the max. (Loosely) based on Casa Amatller and Casa Batlló in Barcelona. Includes exactly 3000 bricks, quite funny.... If you feel like it's worth it, support it on Ideas: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/163149 It's even hard to know where to look here! There's stuff everywhere! To save space, notice how the staircase goes through the outside. Second floor. Quite cosy, not much to showcase though, appart from that beautiful painting made out of custom prints. Detail of the two very different but complimentary roofs. The five minifigures. Close-ups of porcelain table, hat-hanger, painter painting MS, IV & TIH, painting, mini models... Together with Italian Villa and The Iron Horse! Together with Magic Shop! Along with Assembly Square, they're quite complimentary, I think!
