A new virtual creation that will sonn be a new (old) addition to my Firehouse: It is a 80's truck produced by TAM (Tovarna Avtomobilov Maribor) and the fire upgrade done by Keroserist (TAM's doughter company). Real life version contains 1600l/min pump, 2400 liters of water and firefighting equipment for a crew of 7 firefighters. It's design makes it very versitile and those truck are still in use today. And a LEGO version: 366 bricks, 26 bricks long, 6 bricks wide and 11,5 (Aprox) bricks high. It can only seat 2 minifigs and right now it has no inside done equipment. All coments welcome. And a real life version: All C&C welcome.

I needed to build an inside corner building to fit on a shelf for some mini modulars I had built, so I designed something the best I could: http://www.eurobrick...topic=86705&hl= It did the job, but doesn't really fit with the city theme of the other modulars. Someone suggested I try to build a full-size model in LDD, so I gave it a shot and here's what I came-up with: I got tired of adding decorations by the time i got to the second floor, so it's a bit barren: The first floor has much more decoration: Here are a few of the individual items from the first floor: I got the inspiration for some pieces (bar) or the entire model (tree and dumpster) from some searches online. It's a very large model, with 3 large baseplates. As-is there are almost 2700 bricks. It could use some improvements from a better builder than I, but I'm happy with the results. I don't collect the full-size modulars so I'll probably never build it myself. If anyone wants to try or wants to take a shot at improving the model you can get the LDD file here: https://docs.google....dit?usp=sharing If you make some improvements I'd love to see them here. Thanks for looking, Greg

Helicopter Rotor Assembly (proof of concept)
weavil posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I got an idea and wanted to share because I don't have the parts to build and test. I got the idea when I was looking at the parts update for LDD and built it. It would be a helecopter rotor assembly. Picture A Picture B LXF File The orange connecter is the CV joint connecter (bug in LDD - won't connect) and the red axles are to control the movements. I really would like it if someone could build it and test the function of it and post some pictures/video. thanks for your time. -
I'm currently working on some models inspired by the Alien Conquest theme. What I like about the original AC is the alien heads, the "classic" alien's representation (like the flying saucer, the abduction, etc...) and I tried to keep these elements while building with my style which is so better. The sets I've already built: 99001 Alien pod and ADU attack jetpack Alien invader F51"Lotus" fighter Flying squid saucer B51 "Watchbird" bomber / assist aircraft The harvester All terrain DCA unit 99008 ADU command center All of these, except the ADU command center, are in the "quality and improvement" phase Here is a preview of the Alien invader and the Lotus fighter, and a render of the Flying squid saucer I put on flicker a few days ago. I am working on a multi-MOC diorama in LDD and I was wondering if anyone has found a piece that could be used as a bullet or a missle (obviously something small and for mid-air stuff). I can't seem to find any that have easy-to-use connection points.

. . . And I fail at originality. Everything I try to make in LDD turns out garbage, no definite color palette, no definite design style, no idea what to do. I come to here, because I'm out of options. My parents are unsupportive of my imagination, because it's unoriginal. I keep making story crossovers with mixed media, that I end up scrapping because of writer's block. Where will I find the imagination? In a white room! Which I will never find. I'm sorry, I used to be very optimistic. Then I learned the ugly truth about the real world, and realized, no one gives a minifig! I feel very bad venting on this thread. But, I didn't sleep good last night, plus it is Friday the 13th, the one day I suffer from reversal of fortune. Maybe if people were not so critical on my work, I'll stop feeling bad about myself. Just as well, I'll post a model soon. Thanks for your support.

As I have said in my other posting I plan on doing a series of 3 ships in LDD and I plan on building one to display at next years Brickfair VA. Here is the start of my second ship. I haven't completely decided what her purpose in life is yet but she'll probably another military style ship. I wanted to post some WIP pics so that I can get feedback not only on the design but perhaps some ways of using different techniques to try out. So here she is......at present..... This is her bow. Like I said I don't have a plan on the forward mount just yet, but I'm working on it. This is her forward command area. I thought the lights are a pretty cool idea. This is half of the RIB Deployment and Recovery Area of the ship. The slopes on The sides of the ships are just an idea at the moment, they aren't 100% designed through yet. I plan on trying to mount something like an Aegis array on it. We'll see if I can come up with that. Anyway that is how I work through a ships design, start at the bow and work my way aft. I try to build in the ability to take the ship apart for transport that is why there are the technic pieces on the back of this section of the ship. As always tips, comments, and critiques are always welcome. For larger pictures please feel free to visit my flickr page. http://www.flickr.com/photos/63422706@N06/

Here is my Lego Patrol Craft. I don't have any specific genre I'm putting this into. I based the model off of the US Coast Guard Sentinel-class Fast Response Cutter. The model has three decks. The internal layouts still need to be finalized but I think I am about 98% done with the outside. I apologize for the ridiculous background but that is the stock background from LDD and I haven't found a way to create a better one yet. Any comments, critiques and questions are appreciated.

Does anyone have a copy of the schema for validating lxfml files? Additionally has anyone compiled a reference of how the xml structures within the lxfml work? I'm in the process of reverse engineering it so that I can write a couple of programs to mathematically position bricks but if someone has already written it up it saves duplicating the effort.

Quazara Angelata is an extremely powerful and special Hero. Not only can she fly (thanks to her Quaza wings and boot thrusters), but she also has built-in warp drive (on her ankles). making her among the first Heroes designed by Hero Factory for use in outer space. Her essence is stored throughout her body, so even if her Hero Core were to be damaged or run out of power, she would survive. Moreover, her warp drive is independently powered, but she can re-route that power to her Hero Core or her weapon. She carries a Dual Quaza Staff, which can unleash energy blasts, generate a force field to protect herself in battle, and split into two half-staves. Hello everybody! I've always wanted to make a Spanish Mission and recently some inspiration came to me and I finally made one! I call it the Mission San Luis de Las Casas after Bartolome (who lived in Mexico, but I don't really care). My main concern is that the roof of the central chapel is too high; if anyone can opine and tell me what they think about it, I'd really appreciate it. As always, see more on Flickr. Thanks for reading!

(MOC) Krull Glaive v3.0
Toa_Of_Justice posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Version 1.0 was made way back in April 2008. Version 2.0 came shortly afterward, in May 2008. Then, in July 2013, more than 5 years after the original revamp, I decided to rebuild my MOC. Click any image for a larger version. Here's the glaive in closed mode. After opening it by twisting the core knobs, it looks like this. I also improved the display stand for this model. The glaive slides over the angled beam in the middle and in between the angled beams on the sides. LXF file | Parts List (.xlsx format) | Brickshelf Gallery -Toa Of Justice -
Hello! I haven't done much building in the past year (the first MOCs I posted were a couple of months old when I joined) but now I have time to spare and can focus on building. Today, I present Battersea Power Station, a hallmark of the south London skyline and star of a couple of Doctor Who episodes and the cover for Animals by Pink Floyd. I saw it when I was in London just the other day, and it was very exciting! I have designed it in the style of the Architecture sets because I think it (the building) would be at home in the line. Pictures follow. You can see them on Flickr as well. Thanks for reading! And, of course, comments and criticism are welcome.

LDD MOC - American Flag (American Independence Day Special)
Toa_Of_Justice posted a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
This is an American Flag MOC I made in LDD. There is a display stand hidden behind the main model. The 2x3 plates with holes are for hanging this MOC from a wall if it were to be built in real life. Click the picture below for a larger picture, and click here to download the LXF file. This MOC is dedicated to all fighters for independence--past, present, and future. -Toa Of Justice -
Hi everyone. A new building is available for download. This time it's the Ferring International Center/Pharmaceuticals in Ørestad City, Denmark. Just like the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel I made a while back, the logos on the building is made in Photoshop, since custom decals is unavailable as you all know. Picture of the real building In case of LDD is crashing upon loading the model, follow these three steps. 1. Go to the settings in LDD. 2. Uncheck "High-quality rendering of bricks placed in the scene". (If it still crashes, try uncheck "High-quality of bricks in the Brick Palette in the settings.) 3. Restart LDD and then load the building. Download Contains 13178 bricks, just a heads up for you guys with a slower computer.
