Location: B08 Greater Direstan Tags: Exploration, Land Vehicle Mission Log: Entry 25 ~ That basic speeder from last week was a little too .... basic, and I was suitably pleased when I was assigned an upgrade: the Anomalocaris light recon speeder. It was meant to bear some resemblance to some prehistoric sea creature from billions of years ago, but I really didn't care. It was sleek, fast and well-equipped to navigate the terrain of Greater Direstan. Anyway, this was when I found it. As I skimmed along a grassy clifftop permeated by caves, I saw a glint of brighter, sharper, artificial green in the grass, and slowed to a halt. To my surprise, the shattered, tarnished remains of a robot became visible, lying in pieces half-under some vegetation. The bright green eyes flickered and focused, and one of the robot's hands was raised a few centimetres, in a gesture that obviously meant Help me. Within an hour, I had it loaded onto my speeder and was heading back to base, wondering where it came from (it wasn't either an Octan, MANTIS or Kawashita make) and how it had come to be in such a pitiful state. But most interestingly, this is one of Bazug DeBug's fun contraptions- The Mobile Ladder Unit: "My art takes a lot of different forms. I'm an innovative guy. Today's project is simple. Make some sense of this ridiculous Broadcasting Station." Quickly and suddenly, Shockingly and outrageously, The Mobile Ladder Unit takes a new formation! Bazug wastes no time in getting to work. "Just a few modifications and this'll be perfect. Oh yeah, that looks real nice." "Hold up all you listeners. I heard a crazy noise outside the studio. Im'a go check it out. Location: B08 Greater Direstan Tags: Exploration, Land Vehicle Misson Log: Entry 24 ~ The briefing from CEO Raven was uncharacteristically harsh. I was admonished for forsaking my duties as an explorer, informed that I had no right to go around wearing blast armour and carrying weapons, and told that the shock of my injury was exactly what I needed to get back into protocol. She then congratulated me on eliminating the mutant threat. Some people.... Anyway, I was back on Greater Direstan for the third time in less than a year, carrying out a standard recon / exploration mission on a fairly ordinary speeder. Funnily enough, I didn't really miss the adrenaline-fuelled fights and chases of the last month or two - seems Raven was right about where I truly belonged. What I did miss was the companionship of my former team - Agent Kytes, Captain Askarn, Akiko.... My previous journeys and adventures with them were probably something I'd always remember. But there was a whole new world out there, waiting to be discovered, and I was in the vanguard of it.... [Just a small build this time, not much time or space for anything larger. C&C welcome.]

Location: B06 Sorn Tags: Exploration, Land Vehicle Mission Log: Entry 23 ~ I must have passed out shortly after the battle was won. When I came to, I found myself lying on a standard-issue Kawashita mattress inside a bunker, all alone, with light filtering through the window to my left. I realised something was wrong even before I looked down at the rest of my body. My right arm, the one which the cultist had shot, was... gone. And a cybernetic, silver appendage was in its place. Shocked, I sat up, flexing my new limb, and found to my surprise that it was not only equally functional to my former arm, but it didn't hurt at all. I marvelled at the wonders of cutting-edge Kawashita technology.... Noticing my lack of clothes, I was pleased to find a new, clean set at the foot of the bed. As I dressed, I realised that this was not the cloak and armour I had worn while hunting the mutants, but my old explorers' gear, from back before I'd had a memory loss. Even my hair had been neatly brushed back into its old shape. I liked it. Meanwhile, outside my companions had finished the mission I set out to complete. Captain Askarn had set out earlier in the morning, equipped with a Spider-class exo-suit which could grip vertical surfaces like a spider's legs. He'd been successful. The limp, lifeless form of the mutant who'd caused the deaths of three loyal Kawashita operatives dangled, in chains, below the exo-suit as it leapt through the trees and rocks of the Sorn landscape. Akiko Kawashita was the first to notice that I was standing on the platform above the base with her and Kytes, "How - how are you? How's your arm?" But Kytes interrupted her, "Good to see you're awake - Raven wants to see you - ASAP." Without minifigs/vehicles: [C&C welcome!]

Mission: K-B06 Fleet Command Ship Tags: Kawashita, Sorn, Spaceship The day has arrived, Third Branch Excecutive Col. Brik has been given the reigns to his new command ship. The KSG-99 is ready to take on any mission the CEO requests. Weapon attachments and radar keep the ship safe from any foe. Two Vipers are attached to the top, pilots can come from below and load in space. The landing and take off is controlled by the Bridge. The rear hatch can allow supply ships to dock and resupply the KSG-99 so it can keep flying. Interior wide view Engine room, the FTL engines keep the ship ready for quick jumps and main thrusters allow it to fly in atmospheric conditions. Enlisted personnel bunk and kitchen area. Medical Bay and Cloning Vat for Redshirts Officers quarters. Cargo hold. Bridge, and Col. Briks quarters. Pilot ready room and ladders to flight deck C&C Welcome, I have been working on this ship for a solid month and hope you enjoy it.

Location: B06 Sorn Tags: Exploration, Land Vehicle Mission Log : Entry 22 ~ When my vision returned, it was hazy, and everything seemed to shimmer and twist before my eyes. I saw a derelict grey wall, and sand... lots of sand. And then the mutant raising its axe to end my life. I didn't think. My blaster was already in my hand before its axe could descend. Two quick shots, that was it. I heard shouting and blaster fire, and saw Akiko, Captain Askarn and one of the troopers pinned down by a band of .... strange people- things. Some were mutants, and I recognised the mutant who'd killed Agent Sharpe among them. Others were tattooed, scantily clad humans with strange, glowing red eyes, brandishing makeshift spears, blades and guns. I struggled to get up, feeling a sudden, sharp pain in my shoulder. Looking up, I saw one of the strange humans with a blaster aimed in my direction. The pain was so great that I couldn't stand, so I decided to play dead for the time being... Then a shot rang out. The leader of the cultists fell, dead, as the rest of the Kawashita platoon charged over the sandy horizon, equipped with a small walker with medium gunpower. A fierce battle ensued... One of the troopers cut the Octan prisoners loose with his sai dagger. Meanwhile, the three trapped behind the machinery broke cover and returned fire, engaging the mutants and cultists on a second front. The battle was over within minutes. We'd taken one casualty - a young trooper who'd received a sword wound to the stomach. Concerned faces swum into my field of vision as my wound was inspected and I was eased into a seated position. The dying trooper, as per Kawashita custom, was given his sword to hold onto as he died - nobody is sure how this particular ritual came about. I later learned that we'd somehow come through a gravitational anomaly - a wormhole in space - and both our quarry and us had emerged on the planet Sorn, on the eastern frontier of Kawashita space. But we were alone, with no communications - and two grateful but prickly Octan employees to take care of. Oh - and the original mutant wasn't among the dead, somehow. He'd got away. [ C & C welcome!]

Spaceman Spiff Black Hair, the Pirate Merry Men Adventures (Where There's Lava There's Water) Car On A Plate Too Girly Underwater Junk Aggressive Wildlife After his close call with one of the lava worms Onix was known for, Ender finally made it to his meeting with the Zards. “Thank you for agreeing to meet with me” began Ender. “I know my corporation has had good relations with your race as well as the rest of A.L.I.E.N. in the past, but it seems like a lot of conflicting information has come to light ever since the Merchant Confederation joined up with Octan.” “We are always happy to do business with Kawashita” answered the Zard whose name was Turk Falso, “We were actually beginning to wonder why we hadn’t heard from anyone at Kawashita recently. The allegations made by the Emboians, the Merchant Confederation, as well as Octan have been unfortunate. They see A.L.I.E.N. as a threat to their commerce. We feel there is plenty of room in the galaxy for both A.L.I.E.N. and the Merchant Confederation to exist peacefully, but they do not seem to share this sentiment.” “What about the stories about the Zoids taking slaves?” asked Ender. “The Zoids are certainly the most aggressive race in A.L.I.E.N., and any race has their bad apples, as you earthlings say” replied Turk. “They are known for their advance research into genetics, which has had some negative side effects to be sure. But most of the rumors about Zoids being slavers come from a certain group of them whose activities have not been sanctioned by A.L.I.E.N. Now, I know for a fact that some Zoids captured humans, but they captured them to use as hostages, not slaves. Octan has been key in making the rest of the galaxy think we are the bad guys, when in reality it is they who have overrun our planets and killed our people!” “Wow!” exclaimed Ender. “The truth needs to get out! I think I can help you, but first I’m going to need to get past these robots the Emboians have sent after me.” “That knowledge would be a small thing to exchange for your help” said Turk. “Let’s get started.”

Mission: Construction Tags: Kawashita, Sorn I have arrived at the ship yard and have started my inspection process of the new docking system for my yet to be seen command ship. A pleasant Reshirt #2 and his guard Redshirt #10 are giving me the tour. Sir, as you can see we need to dock ready before we can get your ship to you. We expect a few more weeks of repair so if you would sir, you can start adding crew members to your roster. Your ship is still in another dry dock being completed, we are running short of red bricks, and grey, and black. Really, you need to put in some more orders for us. This dock will be your rearm and resupply going forward. There are three of your fighters here to escort you and we also expect two Vipers to be attached to your command ship OH NO, DANG IT 10! Sir, I am sorry about #10, but we have looked at the budget and realize that the new cloning vats are cheaper than guardrails. I know it sounds odd but we also got a deal on mops and shovels to pick up the reds when they go down. I will make sure your ship has a cloning vat for you. ///////// The only part being judged is the structure my sigfig is on and of course the story. The rest are builds I have shown before or actual Lego sets in the background.

Location: F09 Arium Minor Tags: Exploration, Land Vehicle Mission Log: Entry 21 ~ It was time to bring out the big guns, as Agent Kytes put it. We chained our captive mutant to one of the troopers assigned to our squad, and set off in hot pursuit, with it as our "guide". HQ assigned us to a Kawashita Armoured Troop Transport (KATT). Akiko, who is an excellent shot, took the gunner's position atop the vehicle, while everyone else piled into the back. After a short distance, Ekira (who was driving) caught sight of what appeared to be some sort of alien concealed in the sand. I got out to investigate... As we set off again, Akiko hailed me from her vantage point, saying that she could glimpse smoke on the horizon. I sensed that, for good or ill, our planet-wide quest was about to conclude... That was when the world began to whirl and spin around me and a weird purple light filled my entire vision. Then nothing. The KATT C & C welcome. Apologies for the picture-heaviness

Location: B06 Sorn Tags: Land Vehicle The Armored Humanoid Mobile Frame 'Guren', extremely versatile and advanced piece of Kawashita engineering work, capable of among many things deal with Giant Alien wildlife, move around large heavy cargo, fight against hostile corp... I mean pirates and mercenaries. Can be outfitted with whatever tools it requires for any given situation and operated by a human pilot (requires extensive training). The Armored Humanoid Mobile Frame Guren The Guren in Action Pose as promotional material to demonstrate full manoeuvrability. The Guren is outfitted with flight/boost pack capable of very short durations of flight, it's main purpose to ascend or descend across varied landscapes or increase movement speed, not intended for flight however. The Guren sports a very comfy cockpit. That's all folks, suggestions are always welcome, one of my personal goals is to become a pro Mech builder so idea's for improvement are welcome and appreciated

The reports he had heard from Octan seemed to indicate that the Zoids were a evil race bent on the enslavement of other races. However, one of Kawashita's leaders, Narbilu, had explored the possibility of working with the Zoids and 4 other races so they could be all that bad. Secretary, I think I need to set up a meeting with a representative from A.L.I.E.N. Does your "thinking" involve enough confidence for me to go ahead and schedule the meeting Sir? I can tell we're going to have to work on your android programming. Yes Sir, I'll begin right away. No, begin after you set up an appointment for me. I need to get to the bottom of this. Ender had been on his way to the meeting with a Zard that his android secretary had set up when he meet some of the predatorial life Onix was known for.

Location: G10 - Onix Tags: Exploration Kawashita Engineer's Log - AC - G10 Onix In our search for a good site on Onix to mine copper where we are out of the way of Octan's bases, we have encountered a number of large insect like creatures. OoC: Black Lego is really difficult to photograph, so ended up giving up with my intended scene because I just don't have the time this week to faff about all day to try and get it right, so I gave up and took these pictures instead. I wanted an insect like design for the main body and ended up with this. The head moves on a click hinge with a Technic pin joint, the mouth can open and close, the wings are also mounted using click hinges with a Technic pin joint. Mission: Interviews, F-09 Arium Minor Tags: Kawashita My Redshirt Brigade is starting to get attention in the fleet and corporation. I have been task to increase its numbers and expand operations. Since we have finally mastered keeping the redshirts alive I can start adding personnel. My first interview starts in a few moments. So, it says here you are a capable race car driver....do you know how to fly a spacecraft? No...I only know how to drive a very fast car. Very fast. I appreciate your time, we will be in touch. That interview didn't go as I had hoped, as skilled as the driver is I'd rather not train someone who has never flown anything. The next interview looks promising. He claims he can fly every inch of a planet in 24 hours. "Hello, it says here you are a accomplished pilot, able to see a entire planet in 24 hours. That is impressive. Is there anything else you'd like to add?" "Yes....I only work one day a year." "Thanks for your time, Mr. Nick, we will be in touch." Ugh...where do they find these guys? Let's see, the next interviewer is late but his resume looks promising. Well versed in sword use. Expert in weapons and hand to hand combat. Experienced in flying almost anything you could throw at him. WOW, he has his own health insurance program "Heal thyself Inc." Huh, never heard of that one before. It looks like he really doesn't like working for people and prefers freelancing. Well I can handle that kind of person. My gut says this is the one. "Hi, ah, Mr. Wilson is it, this resume looks impressive, I'd love to have you on staff, when can you start?" "I won't be ready to work until February 12th."

Location: F09 Arium Minor Tags: Exploration, Land Vehicle Mission Log: Entry 20 ~ After receiving the transmission from Agent Kytes, Ekira and I took my Y-Class Shuttle off Arium Major to rendezvous with the reinforcements. Their leader, an experienced military commander named Captain Askarn, informed us that the vessel containing the mutant, its cohorts and the Octan prisoners had recently landed on the neighbouring planet of Arium Minor. There was no time to lose. Askarn, Kytes and I took the first transport down to the barren, rocky surface of Arium Minor, where we were assigned a Rough-Terrain Tri-Bike (RTTB) for ease of movement. We set off immediately... It wasn't long before we received results. A transmission came in from a Chocho rapid-response unit five miles away. We may call them Chocho, but a butterfly is the last thing they resemble. They're tall, quick and dangerous. This one reported that it had secured an unknown species of alien which both resembled our missing mutant and the creature we had killed on Arium Major. We headed to the location it described. An unfamiliar, and extremely attractive young woman dressed in Kawashita red and wearing a face-mask greeted us as we approached the robot and its prey. As we drew nearer, Captain Askarn whispered in my ear that this woman was Akiko Kawashita, great-niece to Osamu Kawashita himself and a member of the ruling family of our corporation. I later learned that she had been assigned to this mission as a test of her weapons capabilities and field skills. Sure enough, the Chocho unit had a sedated, chained mutant in its grasp; even more worryingly, its garb told us that this was not the one we sought, but a second lookalike. Location: F10 - Arium Major Tags: Land Vehicle Kawashita Engineer's Log - AC - F10 Arium Major It was decided that Kawashita needed a greater presence on Arium Major, a planet mostly dominated by Octan. While preogress had been made by other construction crews, we've been sent to an area that hasn't been covered yet. I've come down to survey the area for construction works with Dave and Lloyd using an old Recon Rover. The interior is a bit cramped as most of the equipment is hidden behind the bodywork panelling, but the computer systems do the job okay. The driving cab is a bit more spacious, allowing Dave a good view of where he's driving. He won't be getting a crick in the neck from looking at any monitors all day... HaHa, got the bugger! What was that? Nothing... Didn't sound like nothing to me. You're not playing that game again are you? Kind of. You're meant to be monitoring the data recording. I've almost beat my best score though. More pics in the spoiler below. Parts of it didn't turn out quite how I wanted, especially the back, but I didn't have as much time as I thought I would this week. I think it actually looks slightly better in real life aswell, I struggled a bit with the photos, again due to limited time...

Location: F10 Arium Major Tags: Exploration, Ground Vehicle Mission Log: Entry 19 ~ Determined to avenge Agent Sharpe, we doubled our speed, using a Deathstriker exo-suit for these purposes. It wasn't long before we came across an abandoned Octan speeder - and its occupants, who were currently in the process of being dragged off, screaming, by three oddly garbed figures.... We jumped into action. Octan may not be our best friends right now, but we couldn't just stand by and do nothing. While Ekira took the flank, I set the Deathstriker's mounted guns and handcannons blazing. The figure at the back toppled over with a cry, but the other two managed to escape with the Octan employees... Ekira knelt to check the figure's pulse, and found it to be dead, instantly killed by my shot. But when he turned the prone body over, we were horrified. It was physically identical to our missing mutant - but its garb and strange, curved sword showed us clearly that this was not the same creature. Could there be... more of them? As we considered the options, we received a transmission from Agent Kytes. He explained that he had managed to gather reinforcements and was on his way when he saw an alien craft leaving Arium Major, headed for one of the nearby planets. We all agreed that this craft likely contained both our mutant and the two unknown figures who had abducted the Octan employees. The hunt was on! The Deathstriker mech by itself:

Location: Arium Major Tags: Prospecting, Land Vehicle Mission Log Recording - "This is Dr. Steven Quin Livingston with my sixteenth weekly mission in Andromeda. For the third week in a row I am on the southern continent of Arium Major. Now that I have confirmed the deposit and coordinated the logistics the Kawashita automated mining equipment is working excellently. We are pulling Awesomnium and Water out of the ground. Even with our fleet in orbit, security is a concern so I glad to see that we have gotten some extra missiles. Mission: Fighter Escort Tags. Kawashita, Spaceship, Arium Major, We are techinically not at anything right now. We are not at War, we are not at Peace, we are what we are. Agent Raven's office sent down orders for me to get the ridshirt brigade trained and ready to escort any and all Kawashita ships traveling the galaxy. The three fighters will be more than enough to take on the single fighters we usually see every week. The wings are able to move to the "up" position for easier storage in the tight hangers of some ships. My two escort pilots are more than ready to cover my six. "Lead from the front" I always say. I volunteered to take the first flight around Arium Major to keep the fleet protected. The other two fighters are on standby.

Spaceman Spiff Black Hair, the Pirate Merry Men Adventures (Where There's Lava There's Water) Car On A Plate Too Girly The intel provided by the captured Emboian had revealed that Mr. Graver, a former member of Kawashita who had defected when he learned that M.A.N.T.I.S. was offering Larva Fridays and diet pills to all new members, had fed the Emboians information about Kawashita in order to provoke the attacks that Ender had been facing. The Emboians are a fiercely loyal race who will protect anyone taken under their care. Mr. Graver had told the Emboians that Kawashita was in league with the Zoids and had actively declared war against Octan. This had led to the Emboian attacks against Kawashita. Knowing that Kawashita could not afford to be constantly watching their backs against an alien attack, Ender had been tasked with tracking down Mr. Graver and ending his propaganda. Kawashita's relationship with the other Corporations was strained at best. They didn't need someone going around saying they had declared war on anyone. Ender was following a lead on Graver that he had been traveling across the oceans of Arium Major not too long ago. He took a hovercraft out until his sensors should some recent activity on the ocean floor. Here he found some crates that looked like they had recently landed on the floor. He would take them back to his ship and have teh contents analyized to see if he could figure anything out about Graver's whereabouts.
