  1. This gothic-style building is inspired by 2011 Harry Potter set 10217 - Diagon Alley, specifically the Borgin and Burkes shop. Before I get started, thanks for these rendered pictures of my model goes to my brother for converting them all into Stud.io for me. They look really awesome with the printed / missing parts from LDD added back in! Anyway, this building will serve as my town's 1940's-set police station. It was heavily expanded from it's original form to have a second story and back wall. It also has hinges (like in the old Medieval Market Village - set 10193) to allow for it to open up to 90 degrees to access the inside. The building's design also features a tower, three fireplaces on one chimney flue, and staircase to the upper floor. Sadly, the attic has no room for any staircase leading to it. This model will serve as my police station on my town, and as such has a jail cell, "wanted" board, two desks and a weapons storage area by the back door. There is also a breakaway exterior wall section in the cell to bust the bad guys out! The patrol car model is heavily modified from this Rebrickable MOC's free instructions. I will have two of these cars to go with the police precinct. I plan on buying three regular 1940's-style officers and one Chief from the Police Station modular building - set 10278 for these models as well. The inside seats two figures: one officer as the driver, and one suspect in the back. That's a bout all for this building for now. I've found about 680 of 1,092 parts for the project, (minus the vehicles and figs) so it could be built relatively soon. Thoughts, anyone?

    [MOC] Soldiers Outpost

My latest project. Soldiers Outpost I was a big fan of the first pirate sets as a child, so I had to throw myself in a pirate-inspired MOC. Two soldiers are standing guard, the third tries to catch something eatable, while the general is guarding the treasure. They have caught a pirate who has been sitting in jail for quite some time now. It is important that the soldiers make sure that the pirates don’t free their mate... hmm maybe it's too late. Of cause the general is holding on to the biggest treasure chest any man have ever seen, so if the pirate is escaping there is always a reason to come back and conquer the island. 1-DSC03262 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 2-DSC03270 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 4-DSC03244 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr 16-DSC03236 by Thomas Mouridsen, on Flickr More pictures: https://www.flickr.com/photos/137767198@N08/sets/72157693362640134/with/38808853560/ https://ideas.lego.com/projects/51efedd5-a914-4d42-b8a0-edfbd0065b26

Jail Break (yet to be built) Battle in the Skies of Coruscant It took a few hours, but soon MKJoshA and Kale were through processing and had been admitted into Gen-Pop (general population). I can't believe you got me stuck in this place! Not here, if they think we know each other this whole mission could be blown! What mission!?! But Josh had already walked on past. Stormtroopers kept a close eye on everything going on in the prison common room. But every now and then the Stormtroopers got distracted. Like when they were watching Tami Ka, a Dathomirian warrior who had proved to be too rough to stay in the women's ward and tough enough to keep any men off her back in the men's ward. It was during these brief moments that Josh shared his mission with Kale. I came here to rescue some Alliance members. They went mission a couple years back and no one knew what had happened. Just recently we received intel that they were being held in this prison facility. The first is Donnie. He has a reputation of being one of the best ground troops and we need him back. Next up is Rogue. He was on an intelligence mission when he went missing. We need him and his intel back. Last is Covi. He's one of our best pilots and our forces haven't been the same since we was captured. Now that Kale was in on the plan, he was able to help distract the guards while Josh got in contact with each of the Rebels. It took a few weeks. But finally everyone had been contacted and all were ready to make their move. Much of prison life was boring as Bantha poodo. But one thing kept the prisoners occupied and that was the Dejarik standings. The prisoner with the highest ranking always had more sway when it came to prison politics. On the day of their escape, Rogue was able to mess with the table's programing to allow a low ranking prison to beat the top scoring one. A fight broke out and all the Stormtroopers were running to break it up. To Be Continued!

    Aymeri of Kaliphlin

I've been following GoH for a while, and now I'm very excited to be joining Kaliphlin. Here's my character intro: Aymeri had grown up a desert nomad, but had always dreamed of being a knight. So when he was of age, he enlisted as a soldier in Katoren, hoping to one day win his spurs. He had been promoted quickly and now commanded a small group of soldiers. One of his missions was to capture two thieves that had been on a robbing spree in and around Katoren. Aymeri and his men managed to catch up with the two criminals as they attempted to rob a small farm outside the city: After capturing the crooks, Aymeri and his men started back to Katoren: After an hour's march, they reached a side gate of the city: Just inside the gate, several prominent members of Kaliphlin can be seen: Aymeri then continued to the the thieves' final destination: the Katoren jail. Next door is a cartographer's: Thanks for looking, any C&C welcome
  6. I made this for the Daring Escape category in the CCC (colossal castle contest). Inspired by DC, Sirens-of-Titan and LL. Robert has finally been captured and put into prison. His partner in crime, Louie, quickly digs a tunnel for him to escape. Afterwards they rob a wealthy merchant and are making off with their loot, but the how far will they get with it? Any C&C welcome
